Ethereal songstress, hardworking mother, and spiritual healer are all checked off on Jhene Aiko’s proverbial list of accomplishments. Now, she can add a growing entrepreneur to the roster as she unleashes a line of crystal sound healing products. The Slauson Hills, Los Angeles native dropped the collection of ALLEL sound bowls on Feb. 22 in an effort to engage the collective throughout their healing journey. She says it best on Sail Out’s “Stay Ready (What A Life)”: “there’s no better time than now.”
Jhene Aiko has used sound bowls in several past performances and meditations, making this an all-too-fitting venture. On the Go to Heal website, the singer details the significance behind ALLEL. Each sound bowl received a bit of Jhene’s own “living light [&] eternal love” as she activated and played each one herself. In an Instagram Reel to promote the sound bowls, the mom of two previews reverb from each of the instruments. ALLEL “represents balance, protection, and divine guidance,” which is made present by the energy given off the bowls’ vibrations. The description also provides imagery of the “all-encompassing, all-embracing” symbol, which will be featured in the brand’s upcoming line of jewelry.

Each alchemy sound bowl can be heard on their respective landing pages. Most start at $747, going up to as much as $1200 and better for their larger versions. They’re also available in sets, with most nicknamed after Jhene’s songs and projects. And for those still not too sure what this all means, the singer graciously provides a FAQ page. In an interview with Variety, Jhené Aiko explains how she incorporates the sounds on each Chilombo track. As a teenager, Aiko found them to be “an alternative to self-medicating,” the 34-year-old tells. “I just found them very relaxing and soothing, and even addictive to play.” In addition to her new sounds, Jhene has also found success in the release of her Sleep Soul projects, a collection of R&B curated specifically for babies. Surely she and Big Sean’s son, Noah, is a fan. The music-bred baby is a fan of his mother’s music, proven in TikToks with his celebrity parents.
Entrepreneur and Instagram model Bernice Burgos has recently sparked dating rumors with NBA player of the Celtics, Jaylen Brown. Bernice hasn’t been tied to anyone since she was spotted with Quavo at NBA All-Star Weekend in 2018. Bernice has also been linked to Drake, saying that he’s “The sweetest person ever.” And if he were to get married right now, she’d show her support with no hesitation. In an interview withThe Breakfast Club, Burgos opens up about herself and how she started to take over her career as an entrepreneur, urban model, and fearless mother from the Bronx. Having her first daughter at age 15, Bernice explains how the experience of having to adjust from a teenage lifestyle to an adult one with demanding needs was difficult because she had to leave behind her time as a teenager to be a mom to a new baby girl, Ashley. Nonetheless, she took on the responsibilities and the two share a close bond to this day. Today, Ashley is 26 years old while Burgos’ youngest daughter, Saria is 16. Raising both children as a single mother, Burgos has been able to exemplify herself as a good role model for her kids, as her work hustle has always been to the grind.
Bernice was first recognized by J. Cole in 2011. He was so taken by the model that he included her as the lead in his music video for his popular song, “Work Out”. Her publicity continued to manifest and her online platform became larger, as her Instagram followers grew in millions. Burgos then made a cameo in Rick Ross’s “Diced Pineapples” video featuring Drake and Wale. She describes the experience as a time when she was able to come out of her shell to become the reflection of who she is today, a strong, beautiful, and successful woman in business. It’s no wonder she’s now treating herself to love, as Burgos is more than deserving of some time on the town.
As of late, Burgos has been seen with NBA player, Jayden Brown. This one seems a bit more serious, as the two were spotted together around Valentine’s Day in 2023. At the time, Celtics player, Brown, was competing in the NBA All-Star game. During his off time, the two were seen hanging out in Atlanta and Boston. Burgos also posted an Instagram video to her 7 million followers of red roses and a romantic dinner date. Though there was no man in the videos or photos, it is clear that the mystery bae is Brown. The two were also pictured cuddling while allegedly on vacation together.
Though fans of the two should be showing support, the age gap between the two has sparked inevitable comments. Being that Burgos is 42 and Brown is 26, they’ve faced backlash from followers via Twitter. Fans took to the internet to joke about Jaylen being a “step-grandfather” to Burgos’ 26-year-old daughter. Comments weren’t all bad though, as people also shared memes in support of the blossoming relationship.
Brown has previously been linked to 28-year-old Instagram model, Jacqueline Hawileh. The two kept their relationship private, even more so than his with Bernice Burgos. However, the two are known to have dated for a decent amount of time.
Aside from Brown’s ex-girlfriend, Hawileh, he hasn’t been linked to many women. Burgos serves as one of the first women that he’s been seen in public with. As of late, Burgos was spotted courtside at Brown’s Celtics game in late 2022. The Celtics are currently first in the NBA Eastern Conference. Making his NBA entrance in 2016, Brown was a third overall pick for the Boston Celtics after one year of playing in college for the California Golden Bears.

Bernice Burgos And Jaylen Brown Are Both Successful
As for what’s next for Burgos and Brown— Burgos runs a clothing business called Bold & Beautiful Sleepwear that offers luxury pajama sets and super cute onesies. The styles are usually sold out, so when you come across your size, definitely order yourself a set because her line has nothing but positive reviews. Brown, however, recently defeated his team rival, the Philadelphia 76ers with a 3-pointer in the last 1.3 seconds of the game from teammate, Jason Tatum. Brown, who averages 26.5 points per game, dropped a solid 26 points against their anticipated opponent in the NBA playoffs. The team left with a win of 110-107 after the 76ers’ 3-point buzzer beater from Joel Embiid did not count.
Though there isn’t much information on their relationship, the two have shown nothing but positive support for eachother. From sitting courtside at his games to cuddling on vacation, Burgos has clearly shown deep interest in the NBA basketball player — and likewise for Brown.

On the other side of the world, Harvey spent this past weekend in Milan, Italy. Like many others, she was invited to show support at a designer runway. Creative Director Rhuigi Villaseñor requested the Memphis native’s presence at his presentation, where she sat in the front row alongside a slew of celebrities. DDG was present (following his appearance at Gucci’s F/W ’23 collection with Halle Bailey), as was TikTok sensation Dixie D’Amelio.
While he couldn’t join her on the trip, Idris made sure to keep his girl smiling with a romantic delivery during her travels. On her IG Story, Harvey posted a huge collection of red roses, as well as a note reading, “I love and miss you.” In barely visible text near the bottom, she wrote, “My man, my man, my mannn,” tagging her beau to show him some love. In recent times, we’ve witnessed Gunnacop an Alford Plea, leading many to label him a rat. However, the prosecutors revealed that there could be nearly 300 witnesses in the case who will testify against Young Thug. At this point, it seems clear that some of those could be Thug’s co-defendants.
Last year, reports emerged that YSL Woody copped a deal and agreed to cooperate with authorities. However, no one knew exactly what he told prosecutors until a recently leaked video of him in the interrogation room. He told prosecutors more information than they even asked for, even mentioning rappers like 21 Savage. Overall, it seems like it’s going to be an uphill battle for Young Thug and his legal team, especially if those who claimed to be loyal to the rapper began to fold under pressure.
Boosie Badazz’s recent interview with Vlad TV found him airing out his frustrations toward members of YSL who turned against Young Thug. He explained that many of them wouldn’t have had any fame or success if it wasn’t for Thugger sticking his neck out for them. “Half them n***as that told on Young Thugga, all done got they fame off Young Thug. Most of them met they baby mamas ‘cause of him. You wouldn’t even have a child, n***a, if you was on somewhere else,” Boosie said. “You be loyal to that man.”
Afterward, Boosie explained how prosecutors are treating the case like they’re going after a team before comparing Young Thug to Michael Jordan. “Who the fuck is Scottie Pippen when we talkin’ with the team? Gunna,” he said. “So if Scottie Pippen says it’s a gang… Michael Jordan say it’s not. The Verzuz battle between The Lox and Dipset might go down as the series’ best, and Jadakiss recently spoke on the positive opportunities it brought to his veteran career. Of course, the battle captivated so many, and a large part of that audience had Jada to thank. The Lox MC gave a stellar performance that secured his group’s win, and he recently spoke on the I Am Athlete podcast on how it brought him much success. Even though he mentioned things like increased booking prices and press opportunities, he seemed most touched by the respect from the game’s youngest.
“We did the Verzuz,” the Yonkers native began. “The very next morning, Ye called, sent a jet. He sent a jet, we flew to Atlanta to the arena, did a song for his last album. Then it was just like a trickle down of opportunities coming left and right. Magazines, Rolling Stone, this and that. Shoutout to Fat Joe for ‘Yesterday’s price is not today’s price!’ The numbers on my featurings, performances, hostings, everything automatically shot up. My whole albums shot up on Apple and all of them platforms. A lot of the young artists called me that next day. Jadakiss Speaks On The Positive Effects Of His “Verzuz” Battle
Granted, respect for the 47-year-old lyricist was long overdue from the younger generation and casual hip-hop fans alike. Since that event, The Lox’s legacy and Jadakiss’ reputation as an MC saw newfound public appreciation. For example, he recently praised a new mural of the rap collective in the Bronx. “This s**t mean!” he said of the artwork in an Instagram video.
Meanwhile, Jada is just as rooted in his career’s history as he is appreciative and cognizant of its newfound glory. After Kanye West’s series of bigoted and scrutinized public remarks during the fall of last year, the New York rapper emphasized empathy. As many hip-hop heads know, their mutual respect for one another is longstanding. “Prayer,” he responded to a TMZ reporter’s question on what Ye needs to move forward. “Everybody needs to pray for Kanye and let the lord work it out.
