James Harden was not very good with the Brooklyn Nets to start the NBA season. Fans thought he was going to be a lot better than he was, however, it kind of became clear that Harden wanted to play with another team entirely. Harden was not fond of the environment in Brooklyn, and it made sense for him to have a bit of a scenery change. In the end, that is what happened as he was sent to Philadelphia.

Even in Philly, Harden has not been the same player he used to be. The Sixers star has been hampered by bad performances and he simply has not been enough as the Sixers are up against the Miami Heat in the first round of the postseason. In fact, Harden has been so bad that Stephen A. Smith is hitting the star with a huge dose of reality.

“James Harden is NOT a max player anymore! Can we just get that out of the way?” Smith said matter of factly on First Take. As you can see in the clip down below, Smith believes that Harden has completely fallen off and that there does not seem to be a path back for him. Harden used to be one of the most prolific scorers in the entire NBA, but over the course of the last couple of seasons, he has been anything but that, to the detriment of his teams.

The Sixers are a team that need to get out of the second round of the postseason and it doesn’t seem like that is going to be possible right now. Needless to say, it is a bad time to be Harden right now, and it is an even worse time to be a Sixers fan.

Kanye West and his current muse Chaney Jones took their relationship overseas for a trip that may be a mix of both business and pleasure. Social media influencer and model Jones shared a photo on her IG Story of her cuddled up to Ye, as they watched cars drive down a Japanese street from a balcony above. 

While there’s no indication as to what they’re doing in Japan, Ye often travels there for work. Japan is currently closed to tourist travel due to coronavirus and is only open to foreign nationals for business and employment purposes, so this too, would also indicate that the trip may be primarily business-related. A source told TMZ that the couple arrived in Japan around April 22.

The two have been together for several months now and were spotted out cruising through the canyons earlier in April on what appeared to be a “baecation.” Chaney even posted a picture of her $275,000 Birkin Bag from Privé Porter, thanking Ye for the rare gift alongside a bouquet of identical chrome roses.

As info around Kim Kardashian and Ray J’s sex tape comes forward, the R&B artist insists that Kris Jenner had a hand in negotiating their sex tape deal. TMZ has learned that Kris did not have any part in the deal. 

TMZ‘s sources claim that Kris never negotiated with Vivid Entertainment – which distributed the tape back in 2007. It’s alleged that Kim and Ray J handled the deal directly with Vivid.

In an interview, Ray J remains adamant that both Kim and Kris made a plan to make and push the sex tape. He states that they did this during the rise of Paris Hilton’s financial success. Sources for Kim’s family maintain that Kris had nothing to do with planning the tape and had no contact with Vivid Entertainment. Ray J alluded that Kris was still working behind the scenes despite these claims. 

TMZ has reported over the years that although the Kardashians claimed they never signed off on the tape, Vivid could not release the video without signatures from both Kim and Ray. If Vivid did release the tape without signatures from both parties, a lawsuit would have followed. 

Kim sued Vivid prior to the tape’s release but the suit was dropped after claims that she and Ray cut the deal they wanted. TMZ also reports that Kim and Ray split a $1M advance and got a percentage of profits from the tape. It is the highest-grossing sex tape of all time, knocking out Paris Hilton’s tape.

Luka Doncic is one of the best players in the entire NBA, and he has certainly been able to show that in the NBA playoffs. Unfortunately, Doncic’s supporting cast has effectively gone missing over the course of the last couple of games against the Phoenix Suns. Despite scoring 80-combined points in both games, the Mavericks have fell in both tilts and it is clear that they do not have the firepower necessary to win this series.

As you can imagine, this has been very frustrating for Doncic, who showed that anger on Wednesday night as a Suns fan got a little bit overzealous with their trash talk. In the video below, you can even see Doncic go after the fan although he was ultimately restrained by security.

While speaking to the media after the game, Doncic was very up front about what happened, noting that the fan was talking a little too crazy for his liking. Normally, he wouldn’t say or do anything, however, last night was an exception given the gravity of the fan’s words.

Now, the Mavs will go back to the Dallas where they will try to at least win one game in this series. For now, however, it is not looking too good for them.
