Drake has been coasting off of the release of Certified Lover Boy. In the past eight months since the album dropped, Drake hasn’t necessarily embarked on his usual promotional antics like actually touring but he’s been active in other ways. He shared some new verses alongside artists like Jack Harlow and Gunna, while also doing a slew of “guest appearances” during other artists’ sets.

However, it seems like he could be gearing up to deliver some more visuals off of his latest opus. Since J. Cole is currently situated in Toronto as part of the Scarborough Shooting Stars, it seems like Drizzy’s called up his old friend to make a cameo in a future visual. Well, at least according to one of Drake’s most trusted fan pages. Someone tweeted that Drizzy is shooting a video in Toronto and J. Cole is a guest in it. @DrakeDirect_ quoted the tweet and shared the eyes emoji, implying that there is some truth to the tweet.

If it is true, Drake and J. Cole have managed to keep the shoot under wraps quite well. It seems inevitable that iPhone footage would be flooding the timeline if Drizzy and Cole were spotted together.

Hopefully, the rumor turns out to be factual and we end up getting some new content from Drake in the near future. 

If the City Girls love anything, it’s a good time. The Miami rap duo recently took to Instagram to flaunt their adventures in Jamaica, complete with loud cheers at clubs, a lot of dancing, and some wild fits. They’re clearly making the most out of Memorial Day Weekend with a performance on the island.

JT wrote, “Y’all unemployed h*es come get this work” in a pic with a beautiful rainbow-colored bikini, some bling, and blue fur heels. She also posted a lot of highlights from their trip on her Instagram story. They drove around the city, saw album vendors on the street, got Jamaican jewelry and clothes, and even partied later with model Winnie Harlow. JT recapped for her fans, “Who would’ve thought my very first time in Jamaica it would be to perform I’m so happy & thankful.”

Yung Miami also included highlights from the trip on her IG story. In addition to more party posts where she shows off her twerking skills, Yung Miami documented the delicious food they were eating and some of the neighborhoods they drove past. 

City Girls were recently criticized for not making “good music”, a claim to which JT had a quick clapback. They also recently talked to Nardwuar while at Coachella, and are gearing up for a North American tour with Jack Harlow later this year. Even with all the fun in Jamaica, Yung Miami and JT have a lot more work to look forward to.

Fans are happy for the two’s escapades though, taking to Twitter to either express their FOMO or celebrate their fun times. One user wrote “City Girls in Jamaica living they best life. I love to see it” and another wrote “City Girls in Jamaica is such an accurate experience… lit for no reason & just be buying all that s**t from the locals. Just be like f**k it, give me all of the bracelets.”

Skinnyfromthe9 has had his fair share of physical altercations and beef, but his latest battle is against his own followers. A fan recently approached the New Jersey rapper, yelling “Skinnyfromthe9! Oh my goodness!” seemingly in preparation to ask for a selfie, before catching the artist off-guard by asking him, “When did you snitch on someone?”

Skinnyfromthe9 immediately swung at him in response, and a recently-released video from NoJumper shows the whole interaction, ending with the fan laughing (presumably in shock) after the incident. 

Skinnyfromthe9 clearly took offense to the idea of him snitching, and what’s ironic is that he might get snitched on himself now. After the incident, the fan hit Skinny up in the DMs and threatened to file a lawsuit against him unless Skinny pays the fan a large bag. 

While it doesn’t seem like Skinnyfromthe9 will be meeting “Drew corleone”s demands anytime soon, he did have a very short response to NoJumper’s video: “lol.”

This is also not the first time that Skinnyformthe9 has had a raucous run-in with a fan. Back in March of 2019, he was assaulted at a restaurant by someone who wanted to take a picture with him and started fighting him. Skinny claimed the attacker quickly ran outside after.

“Where I’m from, when you wanna fight somebody, you go up to them and n****s square up,” said Skinny. “N****s throw they s**t up and fight it out. Not no b***h s**t, where you go and sneak n****s. That’s corny.”

In August of last year, Skinnyfromthe9 was shot and hospitalized. He also kept up a running feud with YBN Almighty Jay, with whom he fought last July to settle the score. No matter what antics Skinny gets into next, let’s just hope another fan doesn’t dare to call him a snitch again.
