Denzel Curry Set To Release “Melt My Eyez, See Your Future” Album In March

On the heels of his two new singles, “Walkin” and “Zatoichi” (featuring slowthai), Denzel Curry’s Melt My Eyez, See Your Future project will be releasing very soon.

Denzel Curry, eccentric and explosive rapper out of Carol City, Florida, has established a massive fanbase in his time in the rap game. His cup runneth over with energy, Curry has garnered attention from Hip Hop fans across the globe for his wild personality and equally expressive catalogue. Unlocked, the most recent project released by Denzel Curry (and collaborative effort with beloved fan favorite producer Kenny Beats), was accompanied by an animated short film which helps detail just how eclectic his influences and inspirations are.

Melt My Eyez, See Your Future has a very clear visual philosophy. The cover art and visuals for both “Zatoichi” and “Walkin” take characteristics from Japanese culture. If looking at the conceptual direction doesn’t serve as proof of these elements, Curry himself has cited Japanese filmmaker and artist Akira Kurosawa as a creative catalyst.

Just to circle back to Denzel himself, and his out of this world energy, he sustained a major injury at one of his shows for stage diving (without warning the crowd of his intentions). He acts on positive impulse, and it translates to the delivery and tonality in his verses. He delivered one of the most off the wall freestyles on Kenny Beats’ The Cave YouTube series, which is saying something when put up against the wide range of guests that have blessed the booth.

Melt My Eyez, See Your Future is slated for release on March 25th.

2 Chainz Jokes About Taking Weed Tolerance Break From Feb 29-31

If you’ve ever listened to 2 Chainz’s music or follow him on social media, you would know he is a big advocate for marijuana use. In fact, he was a proponent of Snoop Dogg lighting up a joint on stage during his Feb. 13 Super Bowl performance.

On Friday (Feb. 25), Chainz took to Twitter to accept an imaginary “3 Day No Marijuana Challenge.” In the tweet, he vowed to not smoke weed on February 29, 30 and 31, days that obviously do not exist: “My dawg say it’s time to slow down a lil bit.”

While tolerance breaks help smokers to recuperate a little, 2 Chainz clearly does not think he needs one. On the heels of his recent seventh studio album Dope Don’t Sell ItselfChainz has been on a roll not just with the memes, but with music as well.

The album’s elite feature roster of Roddy Ricch, Lil Baby, Lil Durk, NBA YoungBoy and others has his project as one of the best of 2022, with commentators like Noreaga already calling it a classic

As much as he evidently likes to smoke weed, 2 Chainz has also inserted himself into the politics of marijuana, as he teamed up with fellow rappers like Meek Mill and Quavo to push for legislative reform, seeking pardons for non-violent cannabis related offenders in the U.S.

Tity Boi just wants everyone to be able to smoke freely, whether it be in their home or on stage at Super Bowl Halftime. Check out his hilarious T-break meme below.

“When I locked in with my brothers (Nym Lo & 18rd) to do this project I wanted to give the world the best representation of what uptown sounds and looks like in just eight songs,” DZA has said of his upcoming arrival. “We represent of the heart of the hustlers… this is Driplomatic Immunity.”

Along with the arrival of “Trust Issues,” the 38-year-old New Yorker has shared a music video for “Run It” from his Mood Swings project – check it out here, and let us know what you think of the rapper’s latest single in the comments.

Quotable Lyrics:

Even n*ggas with no respect respect cash

Switchin’ time zones on the flight gave ’em jet lag

LV on the sweat rag, gettin’ to the bag

I’m the best out, when I hear your raps it’s a red flag
