A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie Announces “A Boogie Vs. Artist” Release Date

At the beginning of 2021, New York City rapper A Boogie wit da Hoodie gave a promising update on his highly-anticipated EP, A Boogie vs. Artist

Like T.I. with T.I.P., and Eminem with Slim Shady, A Boogie was preparing to go to musical war with his own alter ego, and announced that A Boogie vs. Artist was almost finished

However, that announcement came back in January.

Now, it is December, and A Boogie vs. Artist is still not here.

In the months following A Boogie’s proclamation that the project was almost finished, the “Drowning” rapper received multiple platinum plaques — one for “Me And My Guitar,” from his last release Artist 2.0, and was awarded a second plaque when his second studio album, Hoodie SZN, went double platinum. But while there have been good times, things haven’t been perfect for the 26-year-old.

Throughout the beginning of 2021, A Boogie was caught up in a bunch of relationship drama resulting from his breakup with Ella Bands, and in September, he was arrested before his set at London’s Wireless Festival for what he said was something he was accused of two years ago. In his response to being arrested and missing his scheduled performance, A Boogie promised that he would find a way to make it up to his fans.

Nearly three months later, and A Boogie has delivered on that promise.

Taking to Instagram with a short, animated project reveal, A Boogie announced that A Boogie vs. Artist will arrive this Friday, December 10. And while few results beyond the release date are known at this time, A Boogie fans are sure to be thrilled with the prospect of new music in the matter of days.

Do you think A Boogie is actually dropping A Boogie vs. Artist on December 10? Let us know down in the comments.

Aerial Footage Shows Massive Stage Construction For Upcoming Kanye West & Drake “Free Larry Hoover” Benefit Concert

The rollercoaster ride that is the relationship between Drake and the artist formerly known as Kanye West sped through 2021 and, like always, it had its ups and downs

For the majority of the year, the tension between the two rap titans was palpable. Friction resulting from Drizzy’s 2018 beef with Pusha T, and his belief that Ye leaked information about his then-unknown child to the G.O.O.D. Music president remained present throughout the first half of the year, but it was nothing compared to what would happen in the second.

Leading up to his tenth studio album, Donda, Ye threw Drake and Pusha into a group chat together, leakedthe address of his Toronto estate, and dissed him on the André 3000-assisted “Life Of The Party.”

Drizzy shot back.

Sending subliminals throughout the entirety of Certified Lover Boy, Drake made sure to cover all of his bases in his war against West, and ultimately ran up the score on the 44-year-old with his record’s gaudy streaming and sales numbers.

However, the past couple of weeks have seen the “Glow” collaborators pull a complete U-turn.

After Ye reached out to Drake with a J Prince-backed IG video inviting the “7AM On Bridle Path” rapper to join him for a “Free Larry Hoover” benefit concert, the two reunited and reconciled in Toronto and it was revealed that Drake had met with Larry Hoover Jr., and agreed to perform alongside West. Since it was confirmed that the two will perform on behalf of Hoover, the buzz surrounding the benefit concert has grown to epic proportions.

Last week, it was reported that tickets for the event were going for around $7,500 and last night, CBS LA’s John Schreiber tweeted aerial footage from the Los Angeles Coliseum, where stage construction for the December 9 benefit concert is underway.

Included with the caption, “Massive build out tonight for the Ye (formerly Kanye West) and Drake concert set for Dec. 9th at the LA Coliseum . Looks like a circular mound is being built with sand and concrete or stucco. At first, thought this was a monster truck rally setup,” Schreiber’s footage shows a construction site reminiscent of that seen at Chicago’s Soldier Field ahead of Ye’s final Donda listening session. And while the exact specs of the stage for the upcoming “Free Larry Hoover Benefit Concert” are unknown, it is almost certain that the entire setup will be something to behold.

What are your expectations for Ye & Drake when they take the stage together on December 9? Let us know down in the comments.

LeBron James Talks About Maybe Playing With Bronny One Day

Bronny James Jr. got to play at the Staples Center on Saturday night as Sierra Canyon took on LeBron’s former team St-Vincent, St-Mary’s. In the end, Bronny put on a show as he led his team with 19 points, all while winning the game in convincing fashion. It was a tremendous showing for the high school star, and it certainly put a big smile on the face of his father, who was watching from the sidelines.

Recently, LeBron was asked by ClutchPoints about Bronny’s special evening, and what it meant to him. LeBron even spoke out on the possibility of someday playing with Bronny, who could be two or three years away from entering the NBA. As you can see, LeBron certainly enjoys the prospect of that happening.

“I think just a proud dad moment — seeing my kids play the game of basketball, which they love to do,” LeBron said. Both of them. Always taught him to just play hard, have fun and stretch, before every game… Be a great teammate, and just play the game that you love to play. To be there Saturday night at Staples, where is my home… And to see the way my oldest son performed in front of our whole family and friends …nothing brings more joy to me. […] Absolutely. My son’s putting in the work. We never talk about it. But his dream is to play in the NBA — that’s what he hopes, to be in the NBA.”

While making the NBA is no easy task, Bronny certainly has the guidance to get there if he chooses to pursue basketball to his fullest. In the meantime, you can check out his highlights from last night, down below.

Nick Cannon’s Leaked Nudes Have Sent Twitter Into A Seriously Thirsty Tizzy

As a father of seven, Nick Cannon constantly finds details about his sex life coming out of other’s mouths, although it’s worth noting that he’s never been one to shy away from addressing what he does in the bedroom either. Just a few months ago he shared that his therapist suggested he try out celibacy after fathering four children in one year, only to publicly shoot his shot with Saweetie when she made it known that she “wants some babies”.

While Cannon hasn’t revealed if he successfully made it through No Nut November, some very personal photos of his have shown their face online, causing The Misfits star to trend on Twitter.

If you haven’t come across it yet, but still want to see the photo for yourself then you already know what to search for, although hundreds of people have seemingly accidentally laid eyes on it while scrolling through their timeline. The photo looks like most others of the nude nature, although the actor also included his face, so the chances of it being legit are much higher.

“Me scrolling through this bird app to find Nick Cannon’s nudes,” one user joked. “Nick Cannon’s nudes got leaked and babyyyy I fully understand why he got all them kids now,” several others expressed.

While the scandalous snapshot elicited a shocked and surprised response from some, others weren’t able to hide their obvious thirst. “Damn I found Nick Cannon’s nudes,” another reply reads, posted above a picture of Kylie Jenner holding her baby bump that’s captioned, “next thing I knew, I was pregnant.”

Have you come across the 41-year-old’s d*ck pic on Twitter yet? Let us know in the comments.

Jussie Smollett Speaks On His Alleged Sexual Encounters With Attacker During Trial

After his alleged attackers took the stand last week, it’s now former Empire star Jussie Smollett’s turn to tell his side of the story. According to TMZ, the 39-year-old mostly spoke on his career, and the nature of his alleged sexual relationship with Abel Osundairo.

The Santa Rosa native was called as a witness for the defense earlier this morning, detailing how the loss of his father impacted him and how he rose to success on the aforementioned series. During the questioning, Smollett shared that he earned $25,000 – $35,000 per episode on the first season of the FOX show.

He then went on to talk about how he met one of the brothers who attacked him, Abel Osundairo, sharing that they first crossed paths at a gay club. “We were in a club, you go to the bathroom, go to a stall, do a bump, do a bump and then just kind of keep going in and then we went to the bathhouse,” the B-Boy Blues director recalled of their alleged visit to Chicago’s Steamworks bathhouse.

“We did more drugs and made out,” Smollett shared, detailing that their heavy petting didn’t get too serious until their second Steamworks trip together, during which the actor says they “went alone this time, got a private room again, we did drugs and made out a little bit and this time, we masturbated together.”

Last week, the 39-year-old’s attorney attempted to paint Abel as a disgraced ex lover, despite him swearing under oath that he’s straight, and also requested a mistrial after accusing the judge of lunging at her – check out our story on that here.

Drake Has Withdrawn Both Of His 2022 Grammy Nominations

Drake’s tepid relationship with the Grammy Awards is well-documented. He was famously among the rap stars who declined an invitation to perform at the 2019 awards show. Later, when “God’s Plan” beat out songs from Cardi B, Kendrick Lamar, and Travis Scott to win the award for Best Rap Song that year, Drake (who many didn’t event expect to be in attendance) spent the bulk of his acceptance speech taking a shot at the Grammy Awards establishment. “It’s like the first time in Grammys history where I actually am who I thought I was for a second,” he said. “We play in an opinion based sport, not a factual based sport… it’s up to a bunch of people who might not understand what a mixed race kid from Canada has to say,” he added, addressing kids and people trying to make it in music.

And while he didn’t submit anything this year from Certified Lover Boy for the big Record and Song Of The Year Awards, he did garner nominations for Best Rap Album and Best Rap Performance (for “Way 2 Sexy.”) But as of today, Drake has reportedly withdrawn both nominations and don’t be a part of the 2022 Grammy slate at all. Variety indicated that “… the decision was made by Drake and his management, although his motivation was unclear…”

For what it’s worth, The Weeknd has been public about his full-on Grammys boycott and perhaps his stance is inspiring Drake to take a similar stance? He might’ve even foreshadowed something like this as that 2019 awards speech came to a head. As the diatribe comes to a conclusion, he gestures to the awards statue and said: “You’ve already won if you have people who are singing your songs word for word, or if you’re a hero in your hometown. If there’s people who have regular jobs coming out in the rain, in the snow, spending their hard-earned money to buy tickets to come to your shows? You don’t need this right here, you already won.”

Lil Kim Throws Shade At Angela Yee For Bringing Up Nicki Minaj Beef

Nicki Minaj is a hot button subject of conversation and has been for over a decade.

Since exploding onto the scene alongside Drake as the faces of Lil Wayne’s YMCMB Cash Money sub-label in the early 2010’s, Minaj has garnered a ton of publicity, and has been used as internet fodder by fans and media alike.

Amidst the The Pinkprint rapper’s recent return to social media following the birth of her child and her husband’s ongoing legal troubles resulting from an alleged sexual assault, Minaj has been the subject of much conversation surrounding her “beef” with fellow female NYC rapper, Cardi B. However, despite attempts to reel both Halle Berry and Winnie Harlow into the supposed war between the two, it was another beef that caused tensions to flare elsewhere.

In a recent Facebook post, Angela Yee, a co-host and staple on Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club, posted footage from am interview with Lil Kim. In the interview, Kim explains her beef with Minaj, and claimed that Birdman and Cash Money didn’t want her near the then-upcoming superstar.

However, the clip Yee posted is nine-years-old, and while Kim and Minaj had their differences back in the day, the “Crush On You” rapper let Yee know she did not agree with trying to stir up any old beef.

“Why are we bringing this up, this interview is how many years ago?,” Kim commented on Yee’s Facebook post. “Like really Angela Yee??? This sh*t is WACK but go Viral!”

Do you agree with Lil Kim that Angela Yee was just trying go viral by reviving her beef with Nicki Minaj? Let us know down in the comments.
