Drake Celebrates 37th Birthday at Casadonna in Miami

On Monday, Oct. 23rd, Drake rang in his birthday in style at Casadonna, a new coastal, Italian-inspired restaurant and bar in Miami. The establishment is a collaborative effort between David Grutman (Groot Hospitality) and Noah Tepperberg and Jason Strauss (Tao Group Hospitality).

The birthday bash had some surprise star power as Breaking Bad actors Aaron Paul and Bryan Cranston took over bartending duties while promoting their Dos Hombres Tequila. Drake, sporting an all-black ensemble, enjoyed the evening with his friends and couldn’t resist some playful banter about having to mix drinks with mango juice instead of his usual go-to, Passionfruit.

The celebration turned heartwarming as Drake’s friends and OVO crew toasted him and thanked him for being why they’ve all become “Rich Baby Daddies.” This reference is to Drake’s newest single, “Rich Baby Daddy,” in collaboration with Sexxy Redd and SZA. It was a night of fun, surprises, and heartfelt appreciation as Drake marked another year.

Jonathan Majors’ Domestic Violence Accuser to be Charged with Assault

Jonathan Majors Dropped From Three Projects, Including Otis Redding Biopic

Jonathan Majors’ domestic violence accuser will be charged with assault concerning the incident that led to the actor’s arrest earlier this year.

According to Radar Online, the accuser, Grace Jabbari, was issued a summons to appear in New York court for the assault. Jabbari is “expected to voluntarily report to the NYPD’s 10th precinct in the near future” according to the Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Public Information of the New York Police Department.

Previously, Jabbari stated Majors hit her with an “open hand” leading to a substantial injury behind her ear. Jabbari also claimed Majors caused swelling after he grabbed her hand and “put his hand on her neck, causing bruising and substantial pain.”

A charge for the alleged strangulation was dropped.

Ty Dolla $ign and Kanye West are ready to take their new album on the road. Hitting Instagram, Ty Dolla $ign announced a “multi stadium listening event” for the album. The event is slated for Nov. 3.

Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign have completed a collaboration album and are now seeking a partner company to release it. According to Billboard, Ye is mulling over five offers and “will make a decision soon.”

Ye and Ty Dolla originally targeted Oct. 12 for the album but are now looking for another Q4 date. The report states that while the music is considered the best West has made since 2018, executives are concerned with his return timing amid the conflict between Israel and Hamas. Some labels have already passed on distributing the project, while one startup powerhouse, Too Lost, is believed to be a potential partner.

On Sunday, October 1st, Ye hosted a private listening event for his new album inside a recording studio overseas in Italy. Via The Sun, it seems Kanye was being Kanye, stating he “yelled and appeared out-of-sorts” during the preview of his new project.

This is the first we hear of new music since his public anti-semitic comments drew much backlash from the Jewish community and beyond. While this would seemingly be an exciting moment to share what’s in the vault, sources say Kanye looked a bit crazy during the playback.
