Nicki Minaj is celebrating her revival of her iconic Pink Friday series with its sequel and its accompanying set of concerts. The Trinidadian femcee icon is currently on her Pink Friday 2 World Tour, which began at the start of March. Its album dropped back in December of last year to mixed reviews. But you know her Barbz are going to fully support all of her work. However, the tour appears to be having its issues, as Nicki Minaj and a hairstylist got into it a little.

According to TMZ Hip Hop, they obtained photo evidence of the seemingly heated interaction backstage. It is a pretty blurry photo from her Seattle show last night, March 10, so it is hard to confirm how serious it got. However, Nicki’s stance and body language toward the hairstylist do reveal that there was some frustration from the rapper. Those were possibly stemming from some other production issues.

Reports say that were wardrobe delays, which could certainly include her wigs that she is synonymous with. TMZ did reach out to Nicki and have not heard back, nor has she spoken about it. How To Buy Tickets For Russ’ ‘It Was You All Along’ Tour

After two years away from the road, Uproxx cover star Russ announced a 10-city, headlining tour, It Was You All Along. The tour will begin at the end of May and run through the end of June, with support from 6lack and Melii. In the announcement video, Russ pokes fun at YouTube personalities who negatively critique artists for attention, subtly suggesting that they might not always be genuine with their criticisms.

Tickets will go on sale this Friday, March 15 at 10 am local. They are currently on artist presale, with additional presales throughout the week. You can buy tickets and get more information at livenation.com.

In the comments for his announcement video, Russ addressed the “anxiety” of announcing such a short tour, explaining that, “I HATE disappointing people,” but that he “just wanted to do an arena tour for progress purposes.”

“I didn’t wanna be on the road for too long,” he continued, “So I know some of yall are mad bout your city not bein on here but I love all of you. Hope to see a bunch of you!!” However, after the prospect of a long haul away from home prompted him to pull the plug on his last tour in 2022, it seems he’s prioritizing mental health over forcing himself to fulfill arbitrary obligations.

After canceling his last tour in 2022, former Uproxx cover star Russ has got his head on straight and is heading back out on the road for the It Was You All Along tour with 6lack and Melii. The Atlanta/New Jersey rapper announced the tour with a tongue-in-cheek trailer making fun of the toxic culture on YouTube.

In it, he makes subtle references to the reasons he might have canceled that last tour, reasons he’s apparently addressed, judging from his recent musical output. So, getting tickets to this tour seems like it’ll be a safe bet — when are those tickets available to purchase?

There are not too many more iconic pairings in the music and fashion world than Rihanna and PUMA. They have been together for just about a decade now, which is kind of crazy to think it has not been longer. The multicultural multi-hyphenate has done a lot for the athletic wear and shoe brand over the years. However, that is not to say that it has all gone smoothly, even though nothing really does. According to HipHopDX, PUMA is still having no luck getting a trademark approved with the European Union’s Intellectual Property Office.

This all began on signing day for the R&B legend, which was in late 2014. Rihanna posted that she was inking her deal to become PUMA’s creative director on her Instagram with the caption, “on the dotted line. #PUMA” However, she made one crucial mistake by including her shoes in the photo. That put the unreleased show with the original ethos out into the public domain one year prior to the registration being filed in 2016. Essentially, she disclosed the design, leaving it open to be taken up by someone else, rendering a patent useless.

Dutch shoe wholesaler J.H. van Hilst won the case in 2016, but PUMA was adamant to get the original ruling overturned. Unfortunately, it was shot down once again. The argument against PUMA was that because of Rihanna’s status, many people could have taken interest in her clothing. Mo’Nique’s son, Shalon Jackson, has responded to his mother’s going off during a recent comedy show. Jackson addressed the comments in an interview posted on TikTok. Mo’Nique had recalled meeting an old woman at an airport and the lady telling her “f*ck that n***a” in reference to her son.

“When you have 1.6 million followers and you win an Academy Award, you told the world that I was a ‘n***a,’” Jackson began. “You keep trying to make it about ‘f*ck me.’ You told the world that I was a ‘n***a’ and ‘f*ck him.’ My bills paid on time. My little girl runs to the door when she see hears me put that key in that door. And I’m a ‘n***a?’ Me and my woman figuring out our relationship everyday but I’m a ‘n***a?’ My girlfriend’s mother and I have a phenomenal relationship but I’m a ‘n***a.’ I ain’t never been in jail, never been in handcuffs but I’m a ‘n***a’ to the world? And you got Black women holding their phones saying ‘Ya, f*ck that little n***a.’”
