JT says her debut solo mixtape, which appears to be titled, City Cinderella, is coming soon. She made the announcement by rocking a t-shirt that displayed the information during the opening night of her ongoing headlining tour. She kicked things off with a show in Houston on Saturday night. Over the course of the next month, she’ll also be performing in Dallas, Jacksonville, Tampa, West Palm Beach, Miami, Baltimore, Charlotte, New York, Cleveland, Milwaukee and Kansas City.

After the show, fans asked whether they could purchase the “City Cinderella coming soon” t-shirts. JT revealed on Twitter that fans will have the opportunity to buy them at her shows. She also agreed with a fan who remarked that her new mixtape will “change the game.”

JT previously discussed her upcoming project in a statement after the release of her single, “Sideways.” “I’m excited about dropping solo music because I can focus more on my creativity,” she said at the time. “I love everything about being an artist! I just want to chill, look good, and drop pretty, cocky b**ch music. I’m the City Cinderella!” Check out the t-shirt JT rocked during her opening night show as well as a tweet she made about the outfit afterward below.

JT Teases New Album

Prior to the release of her upcoming mixtape, JT last dropped a project alongside her City Girls partner, Yung Miami, in 2023. That project was titled RAW and peaked at 117 on the Billboard 200. Be on the lookout for further updates on JT and her new music on HotNewHipHop.

Muah, the wait for more JT is almost over. Since what appears to be the City Girls‘ indefinite hiatus, fans have eagerly waited as both ladies spread their solo wings. For JT, so far, it has included two solo songs, “No Bars” and “Sideways.”

But thanks to her first solo headlining tour, JT’s next move has been revealed. During the tour’s opening night, the rapper took to the stage to perform her next track. While the crowd rocked out to JT’s set, her wardrobe is what grabbed attendees’ attention. JT and crew’s custom graphic tees served as the formal announcement of her forthcoming debut solo mixtape.

Instead of changing her stage name, as previously contemplated, JT will simply adopt a new persona, as the title, City Cinderella, suggests. The upcoming body of work doesn’t have an official released. So, for now, the “City Cinderella coming soon” message on the tees is all the public knows.

Well, that’s all supporters needed to get hyped. “[JT’s] mixtape gonna change the game, mark my words,” wrote one user online. JT chimed it to echo the post. “I swear to God,” she wrote.

Others went on to ask where they could snag a tee to aid in the marketing of the project, to which JT replied, “My show.”

JT’s growing fanbase, the Juvies, is ready to ride out for their fav.

Metro Boomin Addresses Rumors About Future & Drake Beef: “Stop Making Stuff Up For Engagement”

Metro Boomin told fans to stop making up rumors about Future and Drake’s relationship when one user on Twitter theorized the two former collaborators are feuding over a girl. Sharing a picture of a woman’s Instagram page, one fan wrote: “This is the girl they are allegedly beefing over. And this is the name of one of the songs on the album.” In response, Metro remarked: “Yall n****s stop making stuff up for engagement and enjoy the music.”

The rumors about their beef stem from the release of Future and Metro Boomin’s new collaborative album, We Don’t Trust You. On the song, “Like This,” Kendrick Lamar directly targets both Drake and J. Cole, prompting fans to believe Future must not be on good terms with the two either. “Sneak dissin’, first-person shooter, I hope they came with three switches,” Lamar raps, referencing Cole and Drake’s “First Person Shooter” collaboration. “I crash out, like, ‘F**k rap,’ this Melle Mel if I had to/Got two Ts with me, I’m snatchin’ chains and burnin’ tattoos, it’s up/Lost too many soldiers not to play it safe/If he walk around with that stick, it ain’t Andre 3K/Think I won’t drop the location? I still got PTSD/Muthaf**k the big three, n***a, it’s just big me/N***a, bum, what? I’m really like that.”

For Shedeur and Hunter, he expects: “Top-4,” in the draft and hinted at a scenario similar to Eli Manning.

He explained: “Anywhere from 1-4, one of them is gonna be 1. One of them is gonna be 1, and the latter one would not go behind 4. So, there’s certain cities where it ain’t gonna happen. It’s gonna be an Eli.”

Mase Claimed He Had To ‘Escape’ Diddy, Which Resulted In His Temporary Retirement From Rap Music

Believe it or not, youngins, at one point in rap, Mase was leading the way. The rapper-turned-pastor-turned-podcaster was the poster child for Bad Boy Records. However, seemingly out of nowhere, on April 20, 1999, he formally announced his retirement from the game Funkmaster Flex’s radio show, citing religious reasons.

Shortly after, he made his widely embraced comeback in 2004 with the track “Welcome Back.” However, his passion for the game had dwindled. In the years following a nasty feud with his former label head, Diddy was all the public could talk about. On Friday, March 22, during a recent episode of his co-hosted podcast, It Is What It Is, he claimed his retirement from rap was ultimately to “escape” Diddy.

“Everything, now, that we see playing out was all the things that I escaped,” he said, seemly referring to the mountain of allegations Diddy is facing. “The car. The Shyne. The Loon. Puff Daddy. Craig Mack. Biggie Smalls. So, even though I made those decisions and it cost me money, that’s why [when] I got with [Cam’Ron], [God] gave me the money back. I didn’t [really] lose no money. Destiny.”

What started as a conversation about the start of Kobe (R.I.P.) and Vanessa Bryant’s relationship, life, and destiny led Mase to think about his past.

Watch the full episode above (however, the remarks start around the 1-minute and 4-second mark).
