Outlawz MC Says Snoop Dogg Told “Wild Version” Of Infamous Nas & Tupac Confrontation

Back in the 1990s, Nas and Tupac were constantly pitted against each other. The beef was there, and the tensions were quite high between them. Their massive confrontation/meetup at Bryant Park is one of the biggest chapters in their history. However, it manages to have tons of versions. Outlawz rapper Young Noble claims to have the most accurate retelling of it. In the process of giving the truth, he made sure to correct Snoop Dogg’s from years ago. Noble has taken issue with all of the “wild” recounts, with the Snoop’s being high up on his list. According to HipHopDX, he’s got a ton of respect for the icon. With that in mind, it was done in a respectful manner.

In speaking with The Art Of Dialogue Noble said, “The truth is Nas walked up – it was about seven of them, it was about 30, 40 of us. He didn’t skip a beat… didn’t tuck his head… walked up. He wanted to talk to Pac. The truth is it was as gangsta as it get. He walked up and they had a conversation. Pac all sweating, Nas was cool.” In the end, nothing too violent happened, as Noble says Tupac and Nas had much respect for each other.

Young Noble Has Nothing But Love For Snoop Dogg Though

Then, after telling his side, Noble got into Snoop Dogg’s rendition. “When Kendrick […] was saying to Snoop, ‘I hope it was the edibles’ – I hope it was the edibles when he said this one. Because he had a wild version of the story like Nas had Pac surrounded and all that. But to Snoop defense, he didn’t come with Pac to this park,” he began.

“Snoop got there in his vehicle, his security however he did. So, I think all the n****s that we had with us, they was outside the venue – all our Jersey n****s. Them n****s an’t come inside the awards. They was outside waiting for us to come out. So, in my mind, I’m thinking maybe Snoop don’t realize all these n****s is actually with 2Pac. They not with Nas.” Noble concluded, “So to his defense, I’ma say that. But he told a wild version of the story. It was a long time ago when I saw what he said but […] it was almost like Nas could have snapped his finger and it was over for Pac. […] Snoop’s version by far was the most off version.” Nas also has corrected Snoop in the past, so it seems that he was maybe was on one!

Lord Jamar Has Some Choice Words For Fat Joe & Math Hoffa Following Their Contentious Interview

Lord Jamar, like Tariq Nasheed, is taking some issue with the recent interview between Math Hoffa and Fat Joe. A few days ago, the latter sat down for interview on the former’s podcast, My Expert Opinion, and a topic came up and it’s divided a lot of folks. The comments mostly stemmed from Joey Crack, who effectively put the Foundational Black Americans on blast. He feels that they have been incredibly divisive to other cultures and how much they have done for hip-hop’s growth. Additionally, Joe says that the FBAs are trying to downplay his identity and creating false narratives. “These rumors were made by radical Black racists. They criticize anyone who ain’t Black American and use social media to attack others.”

He even went on to label them “broke Black racists.” Then, Math Hoffa, also was a bit confused by why this narrative of division between the two groups is being pushed. He feels that Puerto Ricans and FBAs were actually closer than some realize. Nasheed made it a point to address that he had an issue with the former group taking “50/50” responsibility for hip-hop. Lord Jamar also doesn’t like how Joe and Hoffa spoke about this, so he took the time to address the “bulls***.”

Lord Jamar Calls Out Math Hoffa & Fat Joe

Overall, Jamar, who also has grown up in New York, has seen it all. In reality, he thinks Hoffa and Joe know the truth. That is that there were some Puerto Ricans and FBAs who liked each other, and some who didn’t. He then brought up Rikers Island and why there are two separate phones to talk to their respective groups.

Lord Jamar recalled how gangs were created within jails to protect themselves from the Puerto Ricans due to their being bad blood. He even went on to say that the Puerto Ricans that did mess with Blacks were “rebels.” Moreover, he explained that he heard firsthand how the families were trying to sway their kids from talking to Blacks. Jamar finished off with revealing that Hoffa would be worried if he came on his show to explain himself that he would get pushback. But Jamar is making it clear that he’s ready for it all.

SZA Plans To ‘Add Stuff’ To ‘SOS Deluxe: Lana’ On Christmas, Including ‘Switching Some Mixes’

Over the weekend, SZA released her long-awaited project SOS Deluxe: Lana after overshooting its expected midnight release to finish some last-second tweaks. It looks like she wasn’t quite done tweaking either; on Twitter today (never “X,” let’s be serious), the New Jersey singer promised some changes to the project on streaming arriving on Christmas day.

“After listening w a clear mind I’m Switching some mixes out when I add stuff on Christmas,” she wrote. “This means nothing to you but had to say it for me lol . Who knows u might notice.”

Throughout her career, SZA has been notoriously perfectionist, to the point that her manager/Top Dawg Entertainment President Punch Henderson has joked that he had to swipe her hard drive to ensure that she would actually release her music instead of endlessly fiddling with it. This has led to an antagonistic relationship between Punch and SZA’s fans, but the results can’t be argued with; SOS was one of the most successful releases of the decade so far — in a decade including two Beyoncé releases, a bunch of new Taylor Swift, and several big breakouts. We’ll see where Lana ends up on the charts next week, but with SZA making some ex post facto changes, there should be a surge in streams on Boxing Day as curious fans check out just what gets updated.

Kid Cudi Says His ‘Time Is Done On Twitter’ Because ‘Life Is Cooler Being Disconnected’

Over the years, Twitter (not “X,” you kidding?) has been a treasure trove for artists and their fans. The former get to share their thoughts and activities outside music, while the latter get to stay connected to their faves. However, after over a decade, one of the most active users in music might be letting the platform go for good.

Kid Cudi, whose account has given him a direct line to thousands of supporters for updates about his new music, old music, and even his health, said his “time is done” on the app. While he promised he’d continue to give updates on Instagram Stories, he offered his reasoning, which basically boils down to the same thing so many artists leave over: his mental health.

“Ok yall, I think my time is done on twitter,” he wrote. “If u wanna stay connected to me Ill have my ig, Ill keep yall updated thru my stories but I wont be posting much on there either. Just projects and things I got goin on will be posted by my team. Ive been thinkin, I see too much bullshit on here and life is much cooler being disconnected. I think Ive been too accessible, now when u hear from me itll be through my art. I love yall, its been real. Goodbye.”

At least he’ll probably stay out of rap beef now, right? Right?

Jay-Z Hits Tony Buzbee With A Defamation Amendment To Extortion Lawsuit

Jay-Z and Tony Buzbee are currently at war with one another and there is no end in sight. Overall, it all started when Buzbee brought forth a sexual assault lawsuit against Jay and Diddy. Buzbee claimed that Jay and Diddy allegedly raped and assaulted his client, who has remained nameless. Since that time, the music mogul has filed an extortion lawsuit against Buzbee. Furthermore, Buzbee has been hit with various other lawsuits that are unrelated to the Jay-Z case.

According to Rolling Stone, Jay-Z has added on to the extortion lawsuit, as he is also alleging defamation. When it came to the initial charge of extortion, this is what the court documents had to say. “Viewed in the context of Buzbee’s prior statements threatening to file criminal complaints against, and publicly shame, a ‘long list’ of celebrities, the message in the Extortion Demands was clear: pay up, or face a criminal investigation and extraordinary reputational harm.”

As for this latest filing, Jay-Z and his lawyer Alex Spiro could not be more clear. “In short, defendants placed a gun to Mr. Carter’s head. They were demanding that Mr. Carter either: (a) pay ‘something of substance’ to stop Defendants from making public the wildly false allegations of sexual assault that would subject Mr. Carter to opprobrium and irreparably harm his reputation, family, career and livelihood, or (2) endure that financial and personal ruin. Defendants’ statements and correspondence made clear the immediate and extensive threat of exposure if Mr. Carter failed to pay.”

Meanwhile, Tony Buzbee has given his response to the new claim. Just like you would expect, he has denied any wrongdoing. “The new claim is patently frivolous and will be dismissed. I’ve never said a word about him. This is just another attempt to bully and intimidate me. It just won’t work,” the attorney stated. It seems like this situation is just getting started, and we cannot fathom where it will go next.

Jay-Z Sues Sex Accuser Lawyer Tony Buzbee For Defamation And Extortion

After being accused of sexual assault by a woman who claims she was 13 years old at the time, Jay-Z has filed his own lawsuit for defamation against the anonymous woman’s lawyer, Tony Buzbee, according to Rolling Stone. Shortly after the news broke, Jay filed an extortion lawsuit against Buzbee, calling the rape lawsuit and subsequent story seeding in the media a shakedown; on Friday, he added a charge of defamation, saying that by going to the media before he admittedly finished vetting the woman’s story, he’d intentionally defamed the rapper-turned-businessman in order to force a settlement.

The documents filed Friday read, “Viewed in the context of Buzbee’s prior statements threatening to file criminal complaints against, and publicly shame, a ‘long list’ of celebrities, the message in the Extortion Demands was clear: pay up, or face a criminal investigation and extraordinary reputational harm.” According to Jay’s attorney, Alex Spiro, and his firm, Buzbee’s initial demand letter gave a two-week window for response, seeking material settlement and threatening further action.

“In short,” the docs claim, “Defendants placed a gun to Mr.

Buzbee denied the defamation claims, replying via a press statement, “The new claim is patently frivolous and will be dismissed. I’ve never said a word about him. This is just another attempt to bully and intimidate me. It just won’t work.” Jay had previously denied the alleged victim’s accusations, asking the court to dismiss the suit. During a recent interview, Jay’s accuser acknowledged that her story had “inconsistencies” but maintained it to be true.

SZA Pens A Drama-Filled Relationship Epic With “Scorsese Baby Daddy”

Crafting songs about one’s emotions is a little trickier than some may realize. On the surface, it looks easy. You are literally singing about your own life and yourself. However, not all songs in this vein are created equal. Some can come across as too surface-level and cringey. But SZA is an artist who can effectively and creatively convey feelings of self-loathing. One reason why she’s so effective with these kinds of tracks is her witty writing and occasional humor. “Scorsese Baby Daddy,” one of the 15 additional cuts to her SOS Deluxe: LANA, is fantastic blending of these two qualities and then some. If you are into film, you know that Martin Scorsese is an expert when it comes to making drama flicks. The Wolf of Wall Street, Shutter Island, and Hugo are just a few excellent movies in his portfolio.

SZA likens her love of drama in her own life to Martin’s obsession with the genre on this track and it works like a charm. The instrumental hooks you right away thanks to the meaty guitar strums that give the track a nice punk aesthetic. It gives off angsty teen pop but elevated thanks to SZA’s craftsmanship. Her howling vocals really sell it as well as she asks the man she wants in her life to try and take on her issues. However, SZA is not putting down the idea of changing for the better. “One day, I’ll understand all that it takes to be a lady.”

Wack 100 Enrages The Internet After Claiming To Take A Photo With Son Of Biggie’s Murderer

When March 9, 2025, arrives, it will have been 28 years since the gut-wrenching passing of Biggie (The Notorious B.I.G.). It’s a topic that still looms large over everyone we just listed and remains a sensitive one for most. Every day we continue to send our best to the family and dear friends of Biggie and today is no different. Unfortunately, there are still occasions where he can’t just be left to rest and Wack 100 has been responsible for multiple of them.

For example, back in 2022 during a interview with Drink Champs, Wack 100 made the insane claim that the “Juicy” MC didn’t die a legend. “Tupac died a legend, Biggie didn’t. His body of work—movies, double CDS, albums that went quadruple… He was dead before his first album came out,” he argued. “Over the years, motherf***ers remake the songs, he became that.” Of course, this did not sit well with a lot of folks, with some asking, “Why are n****s still entertaining this guy period.”

The Internet Is Done With Wack 100

That sentiment is being echoed two years later after Wack 100 supposedly took a photo with someone in particular. That person the manager claims is the son of the killer of Biggie Smalls. He explained how they wound up crossing paths on his part-time job over at No Jumper with Adam22. “I got out the car, he’s looking at me, so I see him on me. I go in to pay for my gas… and he come in and said, ‘hey you remember me?’”

At this point, Wack thought something serious was about to go down. However, after looking at the kid, he realized it was “Lil Poochie,” the son of “Daddy Poochie.” Back in 2012, reports were floating around that he was the supposed gunman in the drive-by in Los Angeles. Still, Wack 100 decided to take a picture with the son, which left Adam22 to call him out a bit. “You did this intentionally to provoke hip-hop fans who are still reeling.” Wack 100 then retorted that he learned this from “your people” that this is an instance of “dark humor.” The internet is currently letting him hear it, with one person encapsulating the majority’s feelings about this: “Wacc turned into a real buster lol.”

Rob Markman Clowns Adam22 Over Ridiculous Jay-Z And Kendrick Lamar Hot Take

Rob Markman is one of the most respected voices in the culture when it comes to hip-hop commentary. Overall, he has always approached topics in a level-headed way, and fans have always resonated with what he has to say. The opposite can be said of Adam22. The two could not be more different in their approaches. Sometimes, Adam approaches the genre with the kind of irreverence that typically gets called out by hip-hop’s elder statesmen.

Throughout the Kendrick Lamar and Drake beef, Adam22 has been particularly wrong on more than a few occasions. Sometimes, his takes are so a-historical, that they force the hands of those who otherwise wouldn’t even amplify his talking points. This is exactly what happened recently as Adam claimed that Jay-Z and Kendrick are known for collaborating with artists who are less lyrical than they are. As a result, they are looked at as superior artists. Markman saw this take and knew he had to correct it immediately.

Rob Markman Calls Out Adam22

“He rapped with BIG on his first album. Had joints with DMX, Scarface, LOX, Eminem for Christ’s Sake,” Markman explained. “I normally don’t amplify these things, but what the fuck are we really talking about here?” Overall, this is probably the best reaction possible to one of these takes. At the end of the day, to question Jay-Z and Kendrick’s lyrical ability after all of these years is just completely out of line. But, Adam22 is someone who understands the game, and he has mostly been on Drake’s side throughout the feud.

Moving forward, the conversations and discourse surrounding Kendrick Lamar and his peers is only going to get more and more tedious. It is unfortunate but that is just how it is when you enter GOAT debates. Just look at everything that involves Michael Jordan and LeBron James. Those conversation are extremely nauseating, but we keep having them. Why? Who even knows at this point.

N.O.R.E Claps Back At Dame Dash For His Comments About “Drink Champs” Protecting Jay-Z

N.O.R.E is starting to get tired of Dame Dash talking about him and his Drink Champs platform. According to AllHipHop, he hit back at the former Roc-A-Fella head honcho after suggesting that they have been protecting Jay-Z since his rape allegations arose. Dame made the comments on a recent The Art Of Dialogue interview, saying, “Like, he can control Black media ’cause a lot of them either work or do business with him. But, like, you know, Drink Champs can’t get him out of this one, and neither can Charlamagne. ‘Cause those are the guys that hold him down no matter what he does anyway.”

Dame then went on to say that he needs to start getting ahead of the “white media” such as People and Entertainment Tonight because “they on his head.” Well, this eventually got to N.O.R.E, and he’s now taking the time to respond. It began with an Instagram Story post in which he labeled Dame Dash “Lame Dash” and also “more clueless than Stacey [Dash].” Then, N.O.R.E publicly addressed the matter by responding with a video which is below.

In it, he suggests that Dame Dash is essentially not who and what he used to be. Moreover, he doesn’t want to disrespect him any further than this clap back, but he’s encouraging him to get his life in order before things possibly get out of hand. “I have been receiving it you have been coming at me,” he began. You think I don’t got time. I’m not like these other people. I got time.”

N.O.R.E continues, “So you know what I’m gonna do? Tomorrow, I’m gonna wind up in Paris. The next day after that I’m gonna wind up in Saint Barts, Saint Martin, Anguilla, the things you used to do. We’re trying to show you love but you keep coming at everybody. If you got beef with one person you supposed to keep that beef with one person. You got beef with everybody around him.” N.O.R.E finishes with, “We don’t want to disrespect you and I’m trying not to as much as I can because I actually respect the s*** out of you, but you became the lame chatty patty person that you said you were against. Get your life together my number is the same if you wanna work it out.”
