Jordyn Woods Responds To Karl-Anthony Towns Cheating Rumors

Karl-Anthony Towns has had a tumultuous year off the court, mourning the deaths of seven family members from COVID-19. The last thing he needs is for false rumors to be circulating online, painting him as a cheater. That’s exactly what happened when somebody allegedly manipulated screenshots to make it appear as though KAT was two-timing his girlfriend Jordyn Woods

After the chatter took social media by storm, Jordyn Woods has officially responded by denying that there’s nothing happening between her and Karl-Anthony, telling her followers that the screenshots are fake.

“People really be praying on your downfall,” wrote the model on Twitter. “So crazy how someone can make fake screenshots and send it to blogs and y’all believe it. My relationship is more than solid and I put that on everything. He don’t even talk like that. ‘Mamita’, come on now. I normally don’t address anything but what you’re not gonna do is play with my mans character. And to the person who started this rumor… WE SEEE YOU SIS.. since you wanna be seen SO BAD. God see you too.”

In the screenshots, which were posted by gossip blog @gossipofthecity_, Karl-Anthony allegedly organizes his next meet-up with his mistress, who says she’ll fly to meet him in Minnesota. It didn’t take a long time for Jordyn to see the trend taking off before addressing it and letting everyone know it’s not the real deal.

Karl-Anthony Towns has not addressed the scandal.

Do you think KAT was cheating?

Future’s “March Madness” Goes Double Platinum

Though it’s never wise to generalize, it sometimes feels as if Future’s fans can be categorized into two distinct camps. Those who believe “Codeine Crazy” to be his magnum opus, and those who believe “March Madness” to hold the honor. As it happens, those in the latter category secured a nice moral victory today, as Future’s beloved anthem recently hit a new milestone, officially receiving a second platinum certification from the RIAA.

While it’s not clear as to whether or not the ongoing March Madness played a role in driving up Future’s impressive streaming numbers, it wouldn’t be entirely surprising were they to have given the track a little boost. In any case, the beloved banger has received a well-deserved double platinum upgrade at the perfect time.

Given the song’s popularity and status as a definitive Future selection, it’s actually surprising that the numbers aren’t a little higher. In fact, it took some time for “March Madness” to hit the two million mark, having previously been certified platinum in May of 2017. For those keeping score in the great debate, it should be noted that “Codeine Crazy” has yet to earn an RIAA certification — somehow.

Congratulations to Future, whose “March Madness” remains the quintessential soundtrack for the year’s third month and all the basketball that comes with it. Do you queue this one up every springtime?

“Zack Snyder’s Justice League” Has Arrived On HBO Max: Twitter Reacts

Zack Snyder has been a busy man as of late, with two major streaming service releases set for this spring. On May 21, Snyder’s apocalyptic zombie thriller Army of the Dead arrives on Netflix, but today, the once-fabled and now official “Snyder Cut” of “Justice League” has finally been released on HBO Max, despite being accidentally leaked earlier last week. Fans of DC Comics, the DC Extended Universe, and superhero movies, in general, are teeming with excitement, and many have taken to Twitter to share their live reactions and overall thoughts about Zack Snyder’s Justice League.

Zack Snyder’s Justice League, a.k.a. the Snyder Cut, is a four-hour-long superhero epic that expounds upon the original 2017 release of Justice League to reveal how Zack Snyder originally envisioned the film prior to him leaving the project mid-production. New additions to the film include the return of Jared Leto’s polarizing take on The Joker as well as extended camera time for Ray Fisher’s character Cyborg.

Early reviews of the Snyder Cut from critics have deemed the new version of Justice League to be just as sloppy and all over the place as the version released in 2017, but today fans are giving their opinions about the Snyder Cut and revealing whether it was worth the wait.

Have you already seen Zack Snyder’s Justice League? If so, how does it stack up against the original?

Guapdad 4000, Blac Chyna, And Almighty Suspect React To Snow’s ‘Informer’ Video

Way back in 1992, music fans had their minds blown by the video for a Canadian dancehall artist’s No. 1 hit single. That’s right, “Informer” by Snow was a certified chart-topper, but the song’s video revealed an artist whose features appeared to be at odds with the way he sounded on the record. So, for this week’s episode of React Like You Know, we’re putting our panel of younger artists through the same mind-blowing experience of watching the “Informer” video for the first time.

Almighty Suspect probably sums it up best; “I didn’t expect a white boy to come with the reggae flow,” he admits. Guapdad 4000 agrees, “I didn’t know he was white!” Meanwhile, Blac Chyna takes a stab at guessing the meaning behind the lyrics. “He said he gon’ lick somebody’s pum-pum now?” she asks. Not quite, Chyna, but points for giving a little West Indies slang lesson (the song is actually about hunting down and shooting a supposed snitch — which, in a bizarre case of art imitating life, Snow actually served time for doing at the beginning of the song’s run).

Mitch Trubisky Signs With The Buffalo Bills

For the last couple of years now, one of the most slandered quarterbacks in the entire NFL has been Mitch Trubisky. After being picked ahead of Patrick Mahomes and Deshaun Watson, fans had high expectations for Trubisky although he was never able to match up. This past year, he had his job taken away by Nick Foles and just a couple of days ago, the team signed Andy Dalton which all but marked the end of his time with the franchise.

On Thursday, Tribuski’s departure from Chicago was confirmed as according to Adam Schefter of ESPN, he has officially signed a brand new deal with the Buffalo Bills. Now, Trubisky will be a backup behind Josh Allen, and he will only be in Buffalo for one season.

This is a move that helps add some depth to the Bills’ QB roster. After Allen had an MVP-worthy season, the Bills were in need of someone with starting experience to back him up in case anything goes awry. While it may not be the most ideal situation for Trubisky, a contract is a contract and the Bills are giving him an opportunity to rejuvenate his career.

The QB carousel has been something to behold this offseason and there will certainly be more moves in the coming weeks. Be sure to keep it locked to HNHH, as we continue to bring you up to date NFL coverage.

Cardi B & Megan Thee Stallion’s “WAP” Floods FCC With Complaints

“WAP” has proven to be, perhaps appropriately, a slippery slope for Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion. Though the runaway hit has proven to be a runaway success for Cardi, currently sitting at six-times platinum, it has also achieved the dubious honor of being her most controversial single to date. It seems as if the song has sparked a debate among certain circles, with one camp citing its power as a female empowerment anthem and the other camp decrying it as the death knell of Western culture as we know it.

Yet Cardi has never shied away from controversy; in fact, the New York rapper has embraced it, as evidenced by her recent performance during the Grammy Awards. As expected, the live rendition of “WAP” was a tad more risqué than primetime audiences might have been used to, featuring among other actions gyrating, twerking, thrusting, and even humping. Suffice it to say, the FCC had a busy night fielding a flood of complaints from a score of offended parties.

TMZ reports that the FCC received over eighty complaints about the content of Megan and Cardi’s performance, and while that’s not entirely overwhelming numbers, the fact remains that at least eighty people actively took the time to lodge a complaint. The publication also cites some of the choicer complaints, with one likening the “WAP” rendition as reminiscent of a strip club, while another was left averting their gaze upon the sight of unrestrained cheeks.

Though the total number of complaints paled in comparison to those received following Justin Timberlake and Janet Jackon’s infamous Super Bowl fiasco — that particular incident drew in five-hundred-and-forty thousand FCC complaints — it’s clear that “WAP” is quickly becoming a contested chapter of the so-called culture war. Whether or not anything actually comes from the influx of scorned viewers, well, that’s another story.

Mike Tyson Reveals Date Of His Next Fight

Mike Tyson made his highly-anticipated return to boxing last November as he took on Roy Jones Jr in a fight that was broadcasted through Triller. In the end, the match ended in a tie even though most people tuning in through Tyson won with ease. Since the battle, fans have been wondering when Tyson would get back in the ring for a second comeback fight, and recently Tyson delivered the good news.

As he explained on his podcast, his next fight is going to go down on May 29th of this year and it will be taking place in Miami. Despite the announcement, Tyson did not divulge who he will be fighting against, which means there is a possibility that a deal is still in the works.

Wiz Khalifa May Be A Contestant On “The Masked Singer”

Over the past two years, The Masked Singer has absolutely exploded in the United States as one of the most beloved new shows on Fox. The show has featured countless celebrities, from Lonzo Ball and Tony Hawk to Busta Rhymes and Lil Wayne, who sing popular songs while covered in full-bodied costumes and masks in hopes of making it to the end of the competition without revealing their true identity. The latest season of The Masked Singer began on March 10, and fans already have a pretty strong idea about who one of the contestants is.

Following yesterday’s episode, fans of The Masked Singer are almost certain that one of the contestants, simply known as Chameleon, is none other than Wiz Khalifa. In last night’s episode, the second group of contestants competed, singing songs such as “Barracuda” by Heart, “TiK ToK” by Kesha, and “Ride wit Me” by Nelly. Chameleon performed the latter song well and remained in the running, so the character’s identity wasn’t officially revealed, but fans are still convinced that the Taylor Gang artist is posing as the tall, colorful reptile.

With one listen to the Chameleon’s performance, you may be just as easily convinced.

Stay tuned to The Masked Singer to see if Chameleon is revealed to be Wiz Khalifa and check out some fan reactions below.

Cardi B & Megan React To Woman Crying In Distress Over “WAP”

Cardi B released her earth-shattering single “WAP” in August 2020, featuring Megan Thee Stallion, and it’s been at the center of many conversations since then. The video, which is ridiculously explicit, has angered hundreds of conservative Americans on the internet, including Candace Owens, who threatened to sue Cardi for defamation on Twitter this week.

Following the television debut of “WAP” at the Grammy Awards on Sunday night, the same folks that were outraged over the song’s lyrics and video whined and complained about the sexual nature of Cardi and Megan’s performance. They have been accused of “ruining American society” and “glorifying prostitution” in the last few days over the raunchy choreography.

With an outstanding number of videos and posts being made about “WAP” all this time after its initial release, Cardi B has been enjoying herself as she enters heated conversations with people who seemingly want her to be de-platformed for her performance. Uploading one particular video of a woman crying during her reaction to the performance, Cardi and Megan both called out the YouTuber for overreacting.

“Really? Over Wap?” asked Cardi B in her caption. The video shows a woman in distress over her Grammy performance, speaking about what type of content is appropriate for children to watch. “She keep wiping her eyes and it ain’t even no damn tears,” added Megan Thee Stallion in the comments.

On Twitter, Cardi has been even more active in fighting back against the critics, specifically going on a cyber-attack on Candace Owens, who has been hitting right back.
