T-Pain And Kehlani Deliver A Soaring Performance Of ‘I Like Dat’ On ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’

Kehlani’s run of duets over the past couple of years is bordering on legendary. She’s given the Bay Area a new wedding anthem with Rexx Life Raj, shared the tender “At My Worst” with Pink Sweats, and done heart-tugging joints with Russ and Bryson Tiller. She elevates practically everything she touches, and that includes her latest collaboration with T-Pain, the lush “I Like Dat.” The pair appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! to perform their new hit, giving a swaggering rendition complete with cowboy hats and baggy chaps.

As enjoyable as the collaboration has been, it was nearly consigned to an extensive list of partnerships that never happened thanks to T-Pain’s unawareness of Instagram’s UI. The “Bartender” crooner posted a TikTok video toward the end of April, apologizing to all the celebrities and potential collaborators who reached out to him via Instagram’s DMs as he explained that he didn’t realize that verified accounts’ DMs also get filtered into the “requests” folder. Among those he’d overlooked were Diplo, Fergie, and more. But it turned out to be beneficial, as he later held a town hall with Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg about potential improvements for the feature. T-Pain also premiered “I Like Dat” during the stream, promising plenty more to come now that he’s realized people have been trying to get in touch with him.

Bia Brings Her TikTok Hit ‘Whole Lotta Money’ To A Boisterous ‘UPROXX Sessions’ Performance

If you’ve been on TikTok at any point in the last two months, the odds are extremely high you’ve heard Bia’s “Whole Lotta Money” at least once — I’d ballpark it at around 96%. The ruthlessly catchy wealth anthem has been a staple of all kinds of content, but today, you get to see the face and the razor-sharp performance behind the jewelry jam on UPROXX Sessions.

Hailing from Medford, Massachusetts, Bia is one of a growing number of rising stars to get her start on a reality show. In her case, it was Oxygen network’s Sisterhood Of Hip Hop, where she spent two seasons after signing to RCA Records. However, when the deal stalled out, she secured her release in 2019 — and started her ascent to stardom in earnest. Her song “Best On Earth” with Russ was highlighted by a Rihanna co-sign and gave Bia her first platinum plaque. Over the course of the next year, a string of releases included “Same Hands” with Lil Durk, a new EP, For Certain, on Epic Records, and yes, the TikTok-favorite single with which she’s taken over viral launching pad TikTok. Keep an eye and an ear out; Bia is built for this and finally getting her due.

UPROXX Sessions is Uproxx’s performance show featuring the hottest up-and-coming acts you should keep an eye on. Featuring creative direction from LA promotion collective, Ham On Everything, and taking place on our “bathroom” set designed and painted by Julian Gross, UPROXX Sessions is a showcase of some of our favorite performers, who just might soon be yours, too.

Donovan Mitchell Explains What Makes This Year’s Playoffs So Interesting

Now that LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers are out of the playoffs, some NBA fans are complaining that the teams remaining simply aren’t interesting enough. The Western Conference is filled with small market teams right now, except for the Los Angeles Clippers, who might as well be a small market team given their status in their own city. Meanwhile, the East is filled with teams who have never won before, except the 76ers who haven’t won in about 40 years.

While speaking to The Athletic, Utah Jazz star Donovan Mitchell made the argument that the playoffs are even more exciting this season. He noted that he is aware of the slander although considering seven of the eight teams have an opportunity to win their first title, there is a lot to be excited about.

“I see it, I’m not going to lie,” Mitchell sad when asked about the comments that the playoffs are boring now. “I see the tweets (about the new blood in these playoffs). We all do. The best thing about it is, that’s what makes these games so competitive. The Clippers – correct me if I’m wrong – have never won a championship. We’ve never won one. Phoenix has never won one. You look at how competitive these games are, I think that’s what makes this playoffs so intense, so exciting.”

Mitchell’s Jazz are expected to make a deep run in the playoffs and some even project an NBA Finals appearance. If they can get that done, they would have a huge opportunity in front of them, and we’re sure Mitchell will embrace the challenge. After all, he has been one of the most fun players to watch this season.

Julio Jones Shows Off Spectacular Form During First Titans Practice

Julio Jones is easily one of the best wide receivers in the entire NFL and when he was traded to the Tennessee Titans last weekend, everyone was excited to see how he would perform. As a member of the Atlanta Falcons, Jones has an extraordinary career and there is no doubt that he still has a lot left to give to the sport. Not to mention, he is teaming up with Ryan Tannehill, AJ Brown, and Derrick Henry, which puts him on one of the best offenses in the entire NFL.

Today, Jones got to participate in his very first practice with the Tennessee Titans, where he partook in a plethora of different drills. In some video footage below courtesy of reporter Kayla Anderson, Jones looked fantastic as he was quick and nimble throughout the entire practice. Needless to say, Jones is more than ready for this upcoming season.

With Jones at wide receiver, Tannehill will have even more options to work with, and it is safe to say that the Titans are easily the best team in the AFC South right now. There are very few teams that can actually challenge them, and it wouldn’t be shocking if this roster went on a deep playoff run.

At this point, the only team standing in their way is the Kansas City Chiefs.

Erica Banks Explains Why She Always Keeps A Bottle Of Hennessy In Her Bag

Texas-based rapper Erica Banks has had herself an incredible year, breaking out into the rap world as one of the most exciting up-and-coming women in the game. With flows for days, the 22-year-old rising star has officially gotten her first gold plaque, revealing last week that her breakout single “Buss It” had sold over 500,000 copies. She’s presently trying to recreate the viral success of the Nelly-sampling track with her latest single “Toot That,” which is another twerk anthem that could potentially blow up on social media.

As she continues to elevate in the music industry, Erica Banks opened up with us and emptied out the contents of her Louis Vuitton bag, showing what she carries around with her at all times.

The first item that she pulled out was a bottle of Hennessy. Cognac appears to have a special effect on Erica Banks, putting her in that zone and allowing her to feel more confident when she’s recording. “My friend right here turns me up, gives me the life of the party vibes, it wakes me up, in the studio it keeps me going and it allows me to have a good time,” she said about Henny.

Elsewhere in her bag, she keeps a bonnet, a flat iron for when the bonnet comes off, an iced-out watch, and a hairbrush.
