Hulu’s “Wu-Tang: An American Saga” Will Return For A Third & Final Season

In addition to Hip-Hop themed shows like ABC’s Queens, some of the most memorable stories throughout rap’s history have been serving as the inspiration for several tv shows. On one hand, you have 50 Cent’s new crime drama BMF, which follows the origin of Hip-Hop’s most notorious drug and money laundering organization: the Black Mafia Family. Then, you have series like Hulu’s Wu-Tang: An American Saga, which focus more on the artists who have helped shape the culture over the decades.

The latter show recently aired its Season 2 finale on October 27, and the episode concluded with a disastrous cliffhanger which resulted in the group’s entire future being put in jeopardy. As fans continue to take in everything that happened throughout the second season, news has come from Wu-Tang Clan’s very own RZA, and he has assured fans that Wu-Tang: An American Saga will definitely return for another season.

According to Complex, however, the Hulu-exclusive series will only be renewed for one more season, making the forthcoming third season of Wu-Tang: An American Saga its last.

“For the story, you’re going to see what unfolds when the different members get signed to different labels,” TJ Atoms, who portrays a young Ol’ Dirty Bastard on the show, says when speaking of the third season. “nd we’ll see what happens when they really start doing the Wu-Tang thing for real. We’re probably going to see tours and shows. A lot of performances and drama, for sure, because RZA was making all the decisions. Everybody didn’t agree with RZA’s decisions. I don’t know if everybody [was unhappy], but I know some people were probably not as happy with RZA making decisions on their behalf, so we’re going to see a lot of this and a lot of that.”

Wiz Khalifa Offers Up A Fire Verse On New 2 Chainz Track, “Sofa”

Fans of 2 Chainz were not only happy to hear that that the rapper has uploaded the 10th anniversary edition of his mixtape T.R.U. REALigion across streaming platforms, but also overjoyed to find out that Tity Boi added two new collaborations to the tracklist.

The first new addition is the very hot Big Sean joint, “Wreck,” which sees the two flexing their extensive bank accounts while throwing shade at any exes who may have done them wrong. The second song is titled “Sofa,” and includes a face-paced verse from Wiz Khalifa, on which he drops bars about smoking swishers and f*cking with bad bitches.

“Got a fine bitch layin’ on my sofa sleep,” 2 Chainz raps repeatedly on the chorus. Elsewhere on the album, the 44-year-old collaborates with artists like Cap 1, Meek Mill, T.I., Kreayshawn, Young Jeezy, Yo Gotta, Birdman, J Hard, Jadakiss, Dolla Boy, Raekwon, and Trey Songz.

Along with the re-release of T.R.U. REALigion, the “Birthday Song” hitmaker announced that he’ll be headed out on a quick tour later this month, hitting six different cities across the U.S. to perform tracks from the 2011 mixtape.

What are your thoughts on Wiz Khalifa’s latest verse? Should he and 2 Chainz link up again in the future?

Quotable Lyrics:

Got a fine bitch layin’ on my sofa sleep (Sleep, sleep)
Another fine bitch layin’ close to me (Me, me)
Yeah, I got this trick talkin’ groceries
Good head, stress relief, that’s how it supposed to be

Offset Sued For Nearly $1 Million Over Missing Bentley

Offset and his fellow Migos always make it abundantly clear in their music how much money they have and the lavish cars they drive.

That is why Offset’s current situation is so bewildering. On Nov. 3, Los Angeles luxury car rental Platinum Motorsports’ lawsuit against Offset was defaulted, now requiring the Atlanta rapper to pay exactly $950,027.35 for a Bentley he rented in Spring 2020.

At the time, Offset was a regular customer of Platinum, as they consistently gave him fair deals on car rentals. In May 2020, he rented a Bentley Bentayga from the shop for a few days at around $600 per day, and would eventually renegotiate to keep the car until late July.

Everything was going fine until Offset failed to submit his payments around the 4th of July, and the dealership began concerned. When Platinum approached him about the car, he said it was not in his possession anymore.

This became a problem for Platinum because the Bentayga was not in their possession and they could not lease it or rent it out to anybody. Clearly Offset had something to do with the car’s disappearance.

After filing a police report, it was estimated that Platinum lost $100,000 in revenue due to the car’s absence. This would come back to haunt Offset, as Platinum decided it was time to take legal action.

A judge would eventually sign off on the suit, and now Offset owes Platinum nearly $1 million. This is a strange story, because Offset is definitely good for the money. Just last month, he gifted his wife Cardi B a lavish new home in the Dominican Republic.

It appears that Offset took the Migos lyrics “Motorsport, put that thing in sport” a bit too literally.

Lil Uzi Vert, DJ Drama, Don Cannon Accused Of Scamming Adamn Killa Of $20K

Lil Uzi Vert reconciled with his label Generation Now publicly in June when he posed for pictures with co-founder DJ Drama and label mate Jack Harlow at the BET Awards. At that moment, all seemed well after Uzi had feuded with Drama over the delay of Eternal Atake.

Now, however, Uzi, Drama and other Generation Now co-founder Don Cannon are in hot water. On Thursday (Nov. 4), now retired rapper Adamn Killa accused Uzi of scamming him out of $20,000 for a feature. Adamn posted a TikTok he made on his Instagram saying he had sent Uzi the money to record a verse for his song “Cheerio,” and Uzi never got back to him: “I Paid Lil Uzi Vert twenty thousand dollars for a song he didn’t even help clear.”

Killa goes on to explain that his partner was seven months pregnant with his child, and he needed the money that would earn to help support his newborn son. He shared several screenshots of texts and Twitter direct messages between Lil Uzi Vert and himself. Uzi was responsive and engaged at first, but soon ghosted Adamn once he received the payment.

Adamn Killa continued elaborating, saying he had labels interested in helping him put out the song, but Uzi had not gotten back to him about being in the music video so it fell through. He also explained that when he finally got a response about “Cheerio,” it was from Generation Now asking for $50,000 more to clear Uzi’s portion: And it ain’t cleared cause I paid $20,000 for uzi then don canon and Dj drama wanted $50,000 to clear it and I ain’t have that so they wouldn’t clear it and uzi wasn’t no help I waited a year then I just said fuck it and put it out. I had label offers for cheerio too but they all wanted a video (they said they would pay for it) but I couldn’t get uzi to be in the video so that was that.”

Adamn Killa eventually released the song on Soundcloud, but cannot earn money from streams on the platform unless Lil Uzi Vert’s portion is cleared.

Do you think Lil Uzi Vert is at fault?

Travis Scott Lives Like A Boss In His ‘Escape Plan’ Video

As of this writing, Travis Scott’s third Astroworld Festival is already underway, where he’s expected to preview at least one or two new songs from his upcoming album Utopia after releasing “Escape Plan” and “Mafia” earlier today. However, before then, he’s shared the video for “Escape Plan,” which finds him living like a boss, directing a team of brawny security guards, and running on a treadmill on a yacht.

Anticipation for Travis’ album, the follow-up to the critically acclaimed commercial juggernaut Astroworld, is at a fever pitch thanks to the new singles, as well as Travis’ recent appearance at Rolling Loud in New York and his features on projects from the likes of Baby Keem, Don Toliver, Drake, Lil Baby and Lil Durk, and Young Thug. He also expanded his Astroworld Festival to encompass a full week of events and philanthropy, including the opening of several Nike-sponsored basketball courts and the premiere of his A24-produced film.

For fans excited to see what Travis’ set will look like but are unable to attend the festival in person, he’ll be live-streaming the set exclusively on Apple Music later tonight, beginning at 7 pm PT/10 pm ET. You can watch a preview here.

Key Glock Shares His ‘Something Bout Me’ Video As He Releases ‘Yellow Tape 2’

A little under two years removed from his surprise breakout with the original Yellow Tape, Memphis upstart Key Glock has returned to the project that made him one of hip-hop’s names to watch with Yellow Tape 2, which dropped today via Empire and Young Dolph’s Paper Route Empire. The project, which clocks in at 20 tracks — four more than its predecessor — contains no features but does have beats from notable producers like BandPlay, Buddah Bless, Juicy J, and Tay Keith.

In addition to dropping the album, Key Glock also shared the video for “Something Bout Me,” a rough-riding single produced by Tay Keith. In the video, KG runs several operations with the help of a squad of scantily clad companions. When business wraps up for the night, the women disrobe even further for an after-hours party where they twerk for the rapper as he relaxes and appreciates their talents. The single follows the video for “Ambition For Cash,” released a month ago to start the promo cycle for the new album.

Yellow Tape 2 brings Key Glock’s catalog of releases since 2020 to three projects, including his summer 2020 mixtape Son Of A Gun and his early 2021 joint album with Young Dolph, Dum And Dummer 2. He’s turning out to be quite the prolific creator, contributing to his growing profile as one of hip-hop’s hottest rising stars.

Hit-Boy Details Email Jay-Z Sent Him After His Drunken Kanye West Rant

Back in August, following the release of Nas and Hit-Boy’s King’s Disease 2, footage from an album release after-party hit the internet and showed the Grammy award-winning producer sending a couple subliminals at Kanye West.

With Nas by his side, Hit-Boy grabbed the mic and let Yeezy have it.

Vivien Killilea/Getty Images

It’s not a hundred n****s producing the beat,” he said. “It’s not a hundred n****s writing the rhymes, n***a. It’s two n****s in the studio. I hear this sh*t right now, homie. It’s going down. King’s Disease II. Stream that sh*t, buy that sh*t.”

Hit-Boy continued.

“There be n****s in the studio. It’s just me and bro, bro. Do y’all hear this sh*t? It’s just me and this n***a in the studio. He’s barred up, I’m making beats. No hooplah. We not on f*ckin’ Twitter botherin’ y’all. We not on IG Live putting a weird-ass stream up, n***a. We doin’ this sh*t for real though, n***a! Stop playin’!,” he screamed into the mic.

During a recent appearance on New Rory & MAL, Hit-Boy addressed the rant, and revealed that Jay-Z emailed him and told him to stay humble.

Explaining that he was “blitzed off the Henny,” the King’s Disease producer said he was trying to convey just how good he and Nas had gotten at making music together, and after Ye’s bizarre livestream from Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium, he just wanted to know who was making what. But he admitted the message was not presented in the way he wished it had been. And when Jay-Z caught wind of the rant, he reportedly emailed Hit-Boy on some “‘You don’t even gotta do all that, man. This shit hard, I fuck with the album. You talented, stay humble’ type shit.”

Hit-Boy paraphrased exactly what Hov told him after seeing the rant, but whatever he said had an impact. While Hit-Boy and Ye have worked together in the past, issues involving working with Beyoncé created a divide between them. Where Hit-Boy had no problem going at Ye, it’s clear that his Watch The Throne collaborator had enough sway and influence to de-escalate that situation before it became anything more.

Fat Nick Explains Why He Loves Little Caesars Despite Knowing It’s Not Good

Florida rapper Fat Nick knows that there are so many amazing options for pizza around the world, but he just can’t get away from Little Caesar’s. Despite him realizing that there are plenty of local pizza spots that would make him a delicious deep-dish pizza on any given day of the week, Nicky Gordo would still consider calling his go-to Little Caesar’s for his fix.

“I hold myself to a very high level of food critique, right? But my guilty pleasure… I fucking love Little Caesar’s. That shit’s gas,” said Fat Nick in the new episode of Snack Review. “And I’m not supposed to, right? ‘Cause I know it’s dogshit and I know what good pizza is, but I just like it. It’s like that sneaky link that brings you in all the time, you get me? It’s lit, I like it a lot.”

The rapper also spoke about how he used to love drinking Arizona iced tea when he was younger, but he absolutely hates the beverage now.

“I would never drink that shit now, let me tell you that,” said Fat Nick about Arizona being his favorite drink when he was a kid.

The new episode comes on the same day that Nick drops his new project, titled Gorgeous Glizzy Gordo. The rapper was also on Snack Review on Thursday, where he tried out snacks from around the world and gave his honest thoughts on them.

Penn Badgley Shocked Cardi B With A Gift & Letter From His Creepy “You” Character

Back in October, we shared a story about the budding friendship between Hustlers actress Cardi B and former Gossip Girl cast member, Penn Badgley. According to the mother of two’s Twitter, the famous faces have taken their relationship to the next level.

On Thursday, Cardi shared a photo of a present and a letter that she had received from Joe Goldberg (Badgley’s sociopathic character from the Netflix original series You). “How Joe found my new house address?” she wrote above a photo of a hat with the words, “Hello, You…” written across the front.

“My stalking and killing makes me a certified freak, seven days a week, but it also brought me to…you,” the card in the rapper’s hand reads. “Cardi B, you have a way with social media. You’re meaningful. Substantive. I just like you. You’re authentic and nuanced…just as you are with your music.”

Attention around the two first started swirling with Badgley name-dropped the New Yorker in an interview, praising her for the way that she connects with fans and presents herself on social media. Since then, the famous friends have swapped Twitter profile pictures, and the actor even revealed that a petition has been started to get Cardi on the next season of You.

The note continues, “you keep me on my toes, the ones that are left, at least. You can’t be caged in and it’s refreshing. Can’t wait to see you slaying in this hat, but I certainly hope you don’t disappear.”

Fans have been loving the crossover, and hundreds of people in the replies are begging to see Cardi B appear on the show. “Is Offset ok?” one person joked. “He probably in a glass box somewhere,” another user joked, referring Joe Goldberg’s notorious storage method for his victims.

Lamar Jackson Wants Fans To Stop Pestering Him About OBJ

Odell Beckham Jr. is one of the best wide receivers in the NFL although as a member of the Cleveland Browns, he wasn’t able to show off that raw talent. The wide receiver would be open on numerous occasions although Baker Mayfield would always refuse to pass to him. It was a bad situation and OBJ wanted out. This past week, the Browns revealed that they would release Beckham Jr. and on Monday, he would be added to Waivers.

Now, with OBJ becoming available, fanbases all across the NFL are jumping at the bit to get their hands on Odell. They know he could be a great addition to their favorite teams, although it is all going to come down to who has priority on the Waiver Wire, and so far, that team is the Detroit Lions.

One fanbase that is yearning for a wide receiver is the Ravens. Lamar Jackson doesn’t have many great players to pass to, and fans have been hoping for a true one-of-a-kind talent. In fact, fans continue to ask Jackson about OBJ’s potential status in Baltimore, and he’s fed up about it.

While taking to Twitter today, Jackson said “I can’t do nothing for y’all @ the @ravens not meeee. I can’t do nothing.” Of course, Jackson is spot on here as it is fully up to the Ravens front office to make the effort to acquire Beckham Jr. off of Waivers. At this point though, it seems unlikely.

Let us know which team you think would be best for OBJ, in the comments below.
