Cardi B Performs Her Lethal New Single “Enough” On From The Block

Cardi B is fully back. She released her debut studio album Invasion Of Privacy six years ago and while she’s dropped a number of singles since then she finally appears to be back in album mode. That’s been the case because of two new songs she’s released in quick succession, marking her first two new tracks of 2024. The first of the bunch was “Like What” which dropped last month. Though fan hype for new material from Cardi was through the roof, the single was met with mixed reviews.

Over the weekend, Cardi unleashed her second new single of the year “Enough (Miami).” Unlike it’s predecessor fans were instantly in love with “Enough.” That’s why it’s no surprise Cardi is quickly getting all the mileage out of the track that she can. One of the ways she’s doing that is with a special “From The Block” performance of the song. The video dropped yesterday and already has more than 185k views. Fans rushed to the comments to praise both the song itself and Cardi’s hard-hitting performance. Check out the new From The Block version of “Enough” below.

But, I don’t [make] music like that,” she explained. “I sound kinda stupid trying to sing like that. I sound stupid trying to make music like that. Bad Bunny Drops Hefty Lawsuit On Fan For Posting Long-Form Videos From “Most Wanted Tour”: Report

Fans undying support for their favorite artists is great for the music business. However, there is no denying that it has also its cons, like everything else. Case and point, Bad Bunny’s recent run-in with a fan who took posting videos a little too far. According to multiple reports, including TMZ, say that the Puerto Rican superstar is sending a lawsuit toward a man by the name of Eric Guillermo Madronal Garrone. He runs a YouTube channel called MADforliveMUSIC which posts all sorts of high-quality videos from concerts from tons of artists. However, Bad Bunny is not too fond of people being able to see his shows for free so he is dropping a lawsuit on the fan.

The hitmaker claims that Eric went to his Salt Lake City, Utah show in late February and filmed several videos from that tour stop. That would be his Most Wanted Tour, which is for his most recent record nadie sabe lo que va a pasar mañana. The reason why Bunny is suing him is because he says he owns the rights to the live performance music.

Bunny feels that he is doing this to draw more attention off of his name, stealing revenue in the process. However, his attempts at issuing standard takedown notices under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act did not go as planned. All of the videos, including this one above, are back up on the page due to a counterclaim filed by Eric. Finally, to try and settle this for good Bunny is trying to get an injunction. That would stop the fan completely from uploading any more long-form content. Even worse for the videographer, the multi-talent is looking for $150,000 for each video, or any actual damages Bad Bunny can show he suffered from the postings.

What are your thoughts on Bad Bunny suing a fan for uploading lengthy videos from his Most Wanted Tour? How do you think this will eventually all play out? What is your opinion on people posting videos from concerts online and why? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section. Steve Stoute Blasted By Fans For Claiming He Started Hip-Hop Shoe Collabs

Steve Stoute has been making news all week for comments he made on Shannon Sharpe’s Club Shay Shay podcast. He made a variety of claims that had both fans and fellow celebrities asking questions. But one particular trend he took credit for was the crossover between rap and shoes. “Started that. Everybody knows that. That’s me. That’s called, ‘Corporate America, I’m going to introduce you to this thing called Hip Hop. And the music, and the culture, and everything that it represents can help you,” he said.

But fans online disagreed with his take. Under a repost of the clip on Twitter, fans hit back at him and they brought receipts. “It is well documented that Run-D.M.C. signed hip-hop’s first sneaker contract in 1987 when they partnered with Adidas in a deal worth $1.6 million,” one response reads. Another commenter gave additional examples. “He definitely has selective amnesia… RUN-DMC started it. Then LL Cool got his sneaker deal with TROOP. I really wish people STOP trying to change/erase Hip Hop HISTORY!!!” Check out the full interview Stoute gave on Club Shay Shay below.

He spoke even more about Jay-Z later in the interview. He even claimed that Jay is his cousin and discussed how close their bond remains. Offset Reveals Just How Sweet Whitney Houston Was When He Danced In Her Music Video

These days it would be pretty hard to not notice Offset appearing in something. The rapper rose to prominence as a member of Atlanta hip hop trio Migos around a decade ago and hasn’t left the public view since. Last year he released his new album Set It Off which did impressive numbers. It spawned hits like “SAY MY GRACE” with Travis Scott and “JEALOUSY” with Cardi B. The track “WORTH IT” featuring Don Toliver recently re-entered the Hot 100 and sits at #93 this week.

But during a recent appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show, Offset recalled a time before he was famous. He told the story of his mother seeing a billboard advertising auditions for a Whitney Houston music video. I pulled up. I remember my mama told I’ll never forget, ‘When the music come on, just go out there and do your thing. I was smaller than everybody. Everybody was 11 or something, and I was like 8. Then I did it,” he begins. Clearly something about his dancing impressed Houston. “I remember she came from the back and pointed me out. When we shot the video, she was just a nice, sweet soul. Bobby Brown was cool too. He was making us laugh. He was cool. Yeah, both of them. I got a lot of cameos too,” he revealed. Check out the music video that a young Offset danced in below.

Nick Cannon Criticized By Dr. Umar For Wearing Women’s Clothing

Earlier this week, Nick Cannon dropped the newest episode of his show Counsel Culture. This time he had Dr. Umar on the show with him and he discussed a variety of subjects with the divisive culture critic and activist. In on particularly notable conversation, Cannon brings up wearing women’s clothes at earlier points in his career. For anybody familiar with Umar’s politics, it won’t be a surprise that the revelation didn’t sit right with him. He explained to Cannon on his own show how he disagreed with the notion.

“If we will admit that entertainment is a weapon of indoctrination in an age where we see a war against not only the life of Black men but the survival of Black masculinity, how can a Black man putting on a dress not be a problem?” Umar begins. Cannon tries to counter suggesting that it may not be the worst thing for some men to show a feminine side. “I want us to make sure we draw a distinction between feminine energy and female sexuality,” Umar responds. He transitions that into a discussion about media and how it impacts black children more as they consume more television than any other ethnic group. Check out the full episode of Counsel Culture below.

Dr. Umar’s Response Nick Cannon Wearing Women’s Clothes

For most fans, the most well-known thing about Nick Cannon is how many children he has. His 12 kids across 6 different mothers has become the punchline of many jokes about Cannon, but he seems in on the joke. In fact, he’s even willing to make the jokes himself. He went viral earlier this week for a comment about potential kid number 13 with Joseline Hernandez. Unsurprisingly, Cannon claims he’s racking up quite a significant Disneyland bill every year.

What do you think of Dr. Umar and Nick Cannon’s Conversation? Do you think it was wrong for Umar to critique him so directly on his own show? Let us know in the comment section below.

Mase Tells A Story About Being Scammed By A Former Business Manager

Mase has been involved in his fair share of behind the scenes rap drama. Most of it came from his affiliation with Bad Boys Records. During a recent episode of It Is What It Is he opened up about being scammed by a manager who worked for him earlier in his career. He doesn’t name who specifically the manager in question is but does reveal that it came after he signed to Diddy’s Bad Boys Records.

“I remember when I first got a deal with Bad Boy Records, I think it was my first business manager, he ran off not just with my money, he ran off with everybody’s money. So, we ain’t have no money to pay taxes,” his story begins. “This n*gga ran off with everybody’s money. We couldn’t find him … I don’t want to say nobody’s name, but it was a few rappers. More than a handful.” He elaborates that he recruited Cam’Ron and some other rappers to confront the manager for running off with their money. Eminem’s Detroit Restuarant Gets Horrible Review From Popular Food Critic

The popular food critic, Mr. ChimeTime, has labeled Eminem’s Mom’s Spaghetti “the WORST restaurant in Detroit.” Reviewing the restaurant for his nearly 600,000 thousand YouTube subscribers, ChimeTime listed several grievances with the menu options.

“This is by far the worst spaghetti that I have ever had in my entire life of eating spaghetti,” he said in the video. “When I tasted this, it kinda reminds me of middle school cafeteria meat. But I’ma keep it 100 with you, middle school cafeteria meat is better than this bullsh*t. When you get the spaghetti, they just throw it in a bag. And not to mention, the container is open. So, spaghetti is flopping all over the goddamn cup. Number two: it’s cold as f*ck. The sauce is by far the blandest upper-mid sauce that I’ve ever had in any spaghetti. They say it’s powdered Parmesan on this. Why in the hell are we using this low-grade, tasteless, cheap sh*t? Can we get some real Parmesan cheese, please? Now, on the flip side of that, if your goal is to overcharge for low-quality…spaghetti, congratulations… because you did just that.”
