The first time Kanye West was featured on South Park (there have been a few), he was the butt of a joke he didn’t understand, but the real Kanye was still just a guy with an outsized ego Matt Stone and Trey Parker thought it’d be fun to goof on.
On last night’s season 26 premiere, though, there were bigger fish(sticks) to fry.
That self-immolation was the focus of “Cupid Ye,” in which Cartman, in a fit of jealousy over Stan’s friendship with a Black student, drops some Kanye-inspired misinformation hoping to drive a wedge between them.
Cartman then goes on his own antisemitic conspiracy theory press run, wearing the same outfit worn by Kanye during his interviews with Alex Jones’s InfoWars. Cartman also meets the titular “Cupid Ye,” a fairy-like representation of what looks like Cartman in a Yeezy hoodie.
The series regular tells the little pixie, “Ever since you changed your name and got all into Jesus, you got a little batsh*t crazy, Cupid Ye.” Not exactly subtle.
The last time South Park mocked Kanye, the rapper didn’t take it well. In his 2010 My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy song “Gorgeous,” Kanye snapped he wanted to “choke a South Park writer with a fish stick” after fans took to calling him “gay fish” in real life.
A Cheesecake Factory employee even reportedly brought him a plate of fish sticks as a joke. Something tells me fewer people will be taking this one as lightly — and Kanye’s response might not be as nice either.
Consequence has all the time to come to Kanye West’s defense. After speaking on Pusha T, Cons has turned his attention to J. Cole, recalling the 2016 track “False Prophets.”
In case you need a refresher on the content of “False Prophets,” Cole barred up Ye in a rather honest depiction of what the Chicago rapper has become.
Yeah, life is a balance You lose your grip, you can slip into an abyss No doubt, you see these niggas trippin’ Ego in charge of every move, he’s a star And we can’t look away due to the days that he caught our hearts He’s fallin’ apart, but we deny it Justifying that half ass shit he dropped, we always buy it When he tell us he a genius but it’s clearer lately It’s been hard for him to look into the mirror lately There was a time when this nigga was my hero, maybe That’s the reason why his fall from grace is hard to take ‘Cause I believed him when he said his shit was purer and he The type of nigga swear he real but all around him’s fake The women, the dickriders, you know, the yes men Nobody with the balls to say somethin’ to contest him So he grows out of control Into the person that he truly was all along, it’s startin’ to show Damn, wonder what happened Maybe it’s my fault for idolizin’ niggas Based off the words they be rappin’ But come to find out, these niggas don’t even write they shit Hear some new style bubblin’ up, then they bite this shit Damn, that’s what I get for lyin’ to myself Well, fuck it, what’s more important is he’s cryin’ out for help While the world’s eggin’ him on, I’m beggin’ him to stop it Playin’ his old shit, knowin’ he won’t top it False prophets
– J. Cole on “False Prophets”
Speaking on The Art of Dialogue, Consequence examined the moment.
“When he [J. Cole] was trying to get on, it wasn’t no ‘False Prophets’ then,” Consequence said. “It was how do I get to the profit margin?”
He added, “I could’ve signed J. Cole but we was transitioning from out of Sony. J. Cole used to go to St. John’s. Myself, B. Dot from Rap Radar, we all went to the same barber shop.”
In the aforementioned Pusha T statement, Consequence heard the It’s Almost Dry rapper’s reason for distancing himself from Kanye West, and he isn’t feeling it. In fact, he stated he is disgusted with King Push
Pusha T‘s time as the President and a member of G.O.O.D. Music is over. Speaking with XXL, King Push revealed that he decided to distance himself from Ye following his anti-semitic rants and remarks.
“If you ain’t with it, you ain’t down. And I ain’t with it. I’m not budging on that. I’m not with it. I heard about this new stuff [on InfoWars]. I don’t know. It’s something that just sort of tells me he’s not well, at the same time. I will say that. It’s going to places where it’s no way to move around it.”
Pusha T stated he hasn’t spoken to Ye recently, citing that their last conversation was when he was on tour.
“I just expressed myself. I express myself to him a lot. He expressed his thoughts to me. And he got off the phone saying, ‘Thank you. I know you don’t agree with me, but you never kill me in the public. And some people can’t wait to do that.’”
During a visit to The Art of Dialogue podcast, Consequence says you should never abandon family.
“Family is a word that gets thrown around a lot, loosely,” Consequence begins in a clip exclusively obtained by AllHipHop. “And I could actually say that Kanye is my family, right. We not blood relatives, but that’s my family. We’ve done more things and have had more interactions mutually than we have with our own family. When I see something like that, I’m conflicted. I’m disgusted because of a multitude of reasons. And they aren’t all directed at Pusha T.”
You can hear it all below and Push’s response to Consequence here.
The 2009 MTV Video Music Awards are remembered for exactly one thing: Kanye West interrupting Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech to shout out Beyoncé. A less-remembered detail about that VMAs moment is that Taylor Lautner was on that stage, too, as he presented the award to Swift. Now, he has looked back on that day and revealed what was going through his head at the time.
In a recent episode of The Squeeze podcast, the host (Lautner’s wife, who is also named Taylor Lautner) asked if there was a moment Lautner would like to go back and change and he responded, “Probably the 2009 VMAs when I presented the award to Taylor and was unaware that the Kanye thing was not a skit.”
The host noted Lautner and Swift were publicly in a relationship at the time. Lautner continued, “I presented the award to her. I took five steps back and was standing five feet behind her. Kanye jumps up on to the stage. I could barely hear it, I can’t see them. I’m just assuming this whole thing was a practiced and rehearsed skit, because why else would Kanye West be jumping up on the stage interrupting Taylor Swift? It just didn’t make sense. If you look back at it, I’m actually caught laughing and giggling at them. […] He jumped off, she finished. The second she turned back around and I saw her face for the first time, I was like, ‘Oh. This… that wasn’t good.’”
Watch the Taylor Lautners recount the incident below.
At this point, it’s unclear how Kanye West plans to move forward with the #YE2024 but he already coughed up tens of thousands of dollars.
TMZ obtained FEC filings this week, which reveal some of Kanye 2020’s (Ye’s official presidential campaign) expenses for his presidential campaign. Most notably, he dished out $40K to Milo Yiannopolis for “Campaign Wrap Up Services.” Milo also received an additional $9,995 from Kanye 2020 for “Domain Transfer.” Kanye 2020 dished out the payments just a week before December.
The controversial British right-wing figure also claimed Ye owed him $116K for consultation services. However, sources close to the artist said that it was never in writing.
Yiannopolis, alongside Nick Fuentes, were by Ye’s side throughout his controversial fall media appearances. The FEC filings also reveal that Ye’s campaign paid back Fuentes $14,719.87 for travel expenses.
In early December, Yiannopolis announced that he parted ways with Ye in the middle of the artist’s anti-Semitic media run.
“Ye and I have come to the mutual conclusion that I should step away from his political team,” Milo said in a statement. “I will continue to pray for Ye and all his endeavors.”
However, later reports claimed that Yiannopoulis left due to Fuentes’ overpowering influence on Ye.
Ye has also reportedly parted ways with Fuentes. As a result, he’s certainly taken a step back from publicly discussing politics.
We’ll keep you posted on anymore updates surrounding #YE2024.
Kanye West is in trouble with the law after a video surfaced of him grabbing a woman’s cellphone. The Ventura County Sheriff’s office confirmed that Ye is under investigation for alleged battery after a video surfaced of the the artist taking the woman’s phone as she photographed him from inside her car and then throwing it into the street.
According to the Ventura County Star, Ventura County Sheriff’s deputies responded to an alleged battery incident involving celebrity Kanye West near the Sports Academy on Rancho Conejo Boulevard in Newbury Park late Friday afternoon, officials said. The incident was reported around 4:37 p.m. after a reported altercation between West and a woman, said sheriff’s Capt. William Hutton. Hutton said that no arrests have yet been made, but it is an ongoing active investigation.
In the video, Kanye can be heard saying something to the effect of “Y’all ain’t gonna run up on me like that. If I say stop”…”stop with your cameras.”
The woman says she was not running and responds by saying, “Kanye, you’re a celebrity.”
Ye then took the phone from her hands and threw it into the street before returning to his SUV and driving off before law enforcement arrived on the scene.
No arrests have been formally made as of Sunday afternoon.
Sheek Louch is rolling with Pusha T when it comes to keeping his association with Kanye West amid his antisemitic rants.
Earlier this week, Consequence spoke out against King Push, stating he was wrong for distancing himself from Ye.
Enter Sheek Louch, who made a visit to DJ Vlad, and agrees with Pusha T’s decision.
“Shout out to Pusha. I never thought what he thought of everything,” Louch said. “You don’t have to hate him, but dog, I can’t stand for the shit you talking about right now. That’s good that he is making that stance.”
Consequence has heard Pusha T’s reason for distancing himself from Kanye West, and he isn’t feeling it. In fact, he stated he is disgusted with the It’s Almost Dry rapper.

I’m disgusted because of a multitude of reasons. And they aren’t all directed at Pusha T.”
Cons added, “[G.O.O.D. Music] is something that I help build with my bare hands. It wasn’t nothing. Whatever the narrative was at Roc-A-Fella, at the end of the day, a lot of it was on my back. Kanye eventually propelled to stardom, so whatever we did worked. My equity is in his career and in the label. So that’s where I’m disgusted with somebody who wasn’t there from the start. When Ye is in a situation he talked himself into, he’s got to be responsible for that 100 percent. But we’re not going to stick together?”
Pusha T said he resigned from his position as G.O.O.D Music’s president but Consequence said that the “Diet Coke” rapper hasn’t filled in that role for years.
Following Kanye’s wildly offensive press run in 2022, many of his associates began to distance themselves from him. Push denounced Ye’s anti-semitic comments before Def Jam announced that their deal with G.O.O.D Music expired. Then, Push said he resigned as president of Ye’s label. During the same interview, he confirmed he doesn’t have any ties to G.O.O.D Music.
Needless to say, Push’s decision left people shocked since it appeared Push remained by Ye’s side through the thick of his controversies. However, Consequence refuted these claims. During a recent interview on The Art Of Dialogue, he explained that he was “disgusted” by Pusha T’s public statements regarding Ye and his role at the label.
“When I see something like that, I’m conflicted. I’m disgusted because of a multitude of reasons. And they aren’t all directed at Pusha T,” he said.
From there, he explained the amount of work he put in alongside Ye to establish the label. Since the days at Roc-A-Fella, Kanye’s plotted away but Pusha T only entered the picture afterward. Consequence explained that he understood the outrage surrounding Ye’s comments. However, he asked, “we’re not going to stick together?” At the same time, he revealed that there may have been tensions between Ye and Psuh that no one has necessarily addressed.
“Pusha T told you all the street shit and now we doing this industry shit? Nah. Now, in fairness, does Pusha T have a right to distance himself from situations he don’t want to be in? Yeah. He a man. Do those two have grievances behind the scenes that are not being spoke about? Yes, they do. So part of this shit is kinda cap.”
That’s when Consequence stated that Pusha T hasn’t been the president of G.O.O.D Music for some time. He alleged that the root of the issue was that Ye prevented Push from performing at concert in Chicago.
“The whole G.O.O.D. Music president shit? That’s cap,” he continued. “There was no G.O.O.D. Music president shit, n***a. That shit is cap. It ain’t been that shit for years. When n***a kickin’ some resignation shit, there ain’t no resignation shit. Just say you mad about the Donda 3 party in Chicago when he ain’t let you on stage. Say that.”
Consequence added that Pusha T is basically pushing G.O.O.D Music away and gunning for his Grammy at a time when Ye’s going through a crisis. However, he said that there’s a chance the two could repair their relationship in the future.
“They may communicate and find resolve to that situation,” he said. “But as it stands, I don’t fuck with that ‘cause I expect more out of Pusha T, honestly. This n***a base everything he stand for on the streets. I ain’t saying you gotta support it or not. If Pusha T wins a Grammy, Ye did half the album. So what? You’re not going to thank him? Or you gonna thank him and act like you ain’t say you resigned?”
He added, “At the end of the day, it was all good when they n***s were doing the Puff dance in the ‘Diet Coke’ video. You gotta stay like that or you don’t.”
It looks like Australia isn’t playing around in response to Kanye West‘s antisemitic rants last year. According to the Associated Press, West may be banned from setting foot into Australia, as he may not meet its character requirements.
During a spot on Nine Network television, Australia’s Education Minister Jason Clare responded to reports that West may come to Australia to meet the family of his reported wife, Bianca Censori, in Melbourne. While Clare did not know if West had applied for a visa, he noted that people who had previously expressed antisemitic views have had their visa applications rejected.
“I expect that if he does apply, he would have to go through the same process and answer the same questions,” Clare said.
While it seems West may be able to enter Australia if he passes a character assessment, several Jewish leaders and activists are pushing for the rapper/producer’s entry to be barred.
“We had a sympathetic hearing,” said Peter Wertheim, co-chief executive officer of the Executive Council of Australian Jewry on Sky News. “We’ve made the case that this particular individual does not meet the character test and that it would be in the national interest not to grant him a visa and we set out our reasons in some detail.”
Opposition leader Peter Dutton added, “[West’s] antisemitic comments are disgraceful, his conduct and his behavior is appalling, and he’s not a person of good character.”
More news surrounding Ye and his new marriage are continuing to slowly come out. After being spotted out in public with Bianca Censori over the past week, TMZ reports that the new couple actually held a private wedding ceremony. However, they allegedly haven’t filed an official marriage license just yet.
In the latest update, Censori’s family is speaking out in support of her new marriage.
According to the Herald Sun, the 27-year-old’s sister, Angelina Censori and her family are supportive. “It’s very exciting news for both my sister and the family, but we choose to have some privacy for the time being,” she says.
Censori reportedly has a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Melbourne. Additionally, she has her Masters in Architecture from DP Toscano Architects in Collingwood. November of 2020 is allegedly when she moved from Australia to the United States, in order to work as the Head of Architecture at the 45-year-old’s brand, Yeezy.
However, one person who seemingly isn’t happy about the new couple is Kanye’s ex-wife, Kim Kardashian. According to various reports, she has a long-standing dislike towards her. At this point in time, however, it could all just be speculation, considering the 42-year-old is yet to speak out about it.
The reality TV star and the Chicago native were together for about eight years. The divorce was only finalized in November of last year. After this, the world was witness to the “Bound 2” rapper subsequently having a brief fling with Julia Fox. They were only together for about a month. The actress says she dumped the Chicago native due to his “unresolved issues.”
Furthermore, the Uncut Gems actress recently revealed that she may have gone on a date with Drake as well. “I flew on a private jet, cuddled on the jet, landed, got some Chanel bags. It was just great,” she tells Andy Cohen in a recent interview. Afterwards, she alludes to the fact that it very well could’ve been the “Jimmy Cooks” rapper.
