Whitney Alford Shows Support For Kendrick Lamar’s New Album “GNX”

Kendrick Lamar has done it again. The rapper completely shocked music listeners by dropping his new album on Friday morning. Nobody, not even Lamar’s collaborators, saw it coming. The consensus among fans is that the Compton legend delivered a stellar and surprisingly catchy body of work. He has moved on from his highly controversial feud with Drake, and refocused on what he does best. Longtime Lamar heads aren’t the only ones who are loving GNX, though. The rapper’s fiancee, Whitney Alford, also took to social media to make her admiration for the album known.

Whitney Alford posted the GNX album cover on her Instagram Story, along with three hearts. She didn’t provide any text, but the co-sign spoke for itself. Kendrick Lamar’s relationship with Whitney Alford has been a major talking point throughout 2024. Drake leveled several serious allegations at Dot during their feud, and many of them had to do with Alford. The 6 God accused Lamar of being estranged and living apart from Alford and their two children. He also accused the rapper of being physically violent with his longtime fiancee. “They hired a crisis management team,” Drake rapped. “To clean up the fact that you beat on your queen.”

“Not Like Us” shifted the narrative, though. Kendrick Lamar’s number one diss took the culture by storm, and Whitney Alford went along for the ride. She appeared at the Pop Out show on Juneteenth, where Dot played “Not Like Us” a whopping five times to L.A. fans. She also appeared in the video for “Not Like Us,” dancing alongside her children. Whitney Alford has not publicly spoken on the Lamar vs. Drake feud, but she has made it clear through her actions that she supports her partner.

This is not the first time Whitney Alford has been supportive of Lamar’s work. She contributed spoken word passages to the rapper’s sprawling 2022 double album, Mr. Morale and the Big Steppers. Despite the fact that Lamar was addressing his infidelity and his struggles with remaining faithful as a superstar, Alford stood by his side. Lamar and Alford have presented a united front during the last few years, and fans of the couple have taken to social media to voice their enthusiasm over the latter’s GNX co-sign.

Drake Trolls Kendrick Lamar With “Wife Beater” Modeled By Whitney Alford Lookalike

Drake’s beef with Kendrick Lamar seems to have mostly died down. Evidently, however, that doesn’t mean he’s willing to miss an opportunity to diss the Compton-born MC. Earlier this week, the official OVO Instagram shared a series of photos, advertising some casual women’s clothing items. One of the pieces was a simple white tank top, commonly referred to as a “wife beater.” The model rocking the top bares a striking resemblance to Kendrick’s fiancée Whitney Alford. She even wore a similar top in the “Not Like Us” music video.

Throughout their lyrical battle, Drake accused Kendrick Lamar of domestic violence against Alford multiple times. Of course, fans are assuming that the ad was intentional, and a sneaky way of taking aim at the “Euphoria” rapper without actually saying anything. This is unconfirmed, though the model’s resemblance to Alford is undeniable, which raises the question of whether or not it’s even possible for this to have been a coincidence.

Drake Seemingly References Kendrick Lamar’s Domestic Violence Allegations In OVO Ad

While some fans are calling the apparent dig clever, others are calling him out for failing to directly address Kendrick’s latest moves. Aside from a few features and vague social media posts, Drake’s stayed mostly silent in recent weeks, despite Kendrick’s Pop Out in LA, new music video, and more. He’s paid a major price for it too, as nearly everything he posts gets him immediately ripped to shreds by K-Dot supporters.

Fortunately for him, it looks like not everyone is on Kendrick’s side, as Drake was recently crowned the most-streamed rapper of June on Spotify. It was the sixth month in a row for the Toronto hitmaker, indicating that his loyal fanbase is still very much intact. What do you think of OVO advertising “wife beaters” modeled by a Whitney Alford lookalike? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

Everybody Who Appears In Kendrick Lamar’s ‘Not Like Us’ Video

Kendrick Lamar decided to shoot off some fireworks of his own last night (July 4) by dropping his new video for the hit Drake diss “Not Like Us.”. The visual is definitely a team effort, as a handful of notable folks make guest appearances. The list includes:

Tommy The Clown

Tommy The Clown, a Los Angeles icon, was previously at Lamar’s The Pop Out concert (as were a number of other folks mentioned below). Here, he kicks off the video by asking Lamar for a password and hitting play on the song.

Whitney Alford and children

This one is perhaps the video’s most notable guest: Alford is Lamar’s fiancée and their two children also appear, with the four of them dancing to the song. These cameos are presumably a clap-back at Drake: On “Family Matters,” he alleged that Dave Free is actually the father of one of Alford and Lamar’s kids. Speaking of Free…

Dave Free

…he’s in the video, too. He co-directed it, actually, indicating that there is no bad blood between him and Kendrick.

DeMar DeRozan

This is a natural cameo, since the NBA star, who started his career in Drake’s hometown of Toronto before stints in San Antonio and Chicago, is mentioned in the song’s lyrics: “I’m glad DeRoz’ came home, y’all didn’t deserve him neither.”

Mustard

Another logical inclusion: Mustard produced “Not Like Us,” and he drives home the Drake diss here by rocking a Toronto Blue Jays hat in the video.

YG

YG found himself involved in the Drake beef: Drake gave YG a positive shout-out on “Family Matters,” and while some thought YG later dissed Drake on his song “Weird,” YG denied it.

Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith

After launching his career with Top Dawg Entertainment, Lamar has moved onto a new label arrangement. It appears to be all love between him and his former boss, though, as Top Dawg pops up in the new video.

Social Media Reacts To Kendrick Lamar’s Fiancé Whitney Alford Being In “Not Like Us” Video

Whitney Alford appears in the “Not Like Us” video, and fans are here for it. Social media is claiming that Kendrick Lamar has once again, taken home the victory in regards to the Drake beef. For Kendrick, he’s proven that he’s not just a lyricist, but he’s also a visual storyteller. Since the debut of his new music video, “Not Like Us,” today, social media has been on fire with reactions. People are loving it. While the hip-hop beef has been going on for the last few months, listeners have been taking sides and waiting to see what comes next. In fact, now that the music video is here, fans are meticulously analyzing each moment and detail of the video. Each frame is receiving thorough attention and scrutiny from viewers worldwide.

One of the most striking elements of the video is the appearance of his fiancée, Whitney Alford, alongside their children. This visual representation serves as a direct response to recent claims made by Drake in his diss track “Family Matters,” where he took aim at Lamar’s relationship with Alford. In “Family Matters,” Drake made several accusations about Lamar’s family life. He suggested issues between Lamar and Alford that painted Lamar in a negative light. However, Lamar’s “Not Like Us” video flips this narrative on its head. Furthermore, the video showcases Lamar and Alford dancing together with their children. This scene not only completely rebuttals Drake’s insinuations but also reinforces the two’s dynamic of a happy family.

Fans Are Happy To See Whitney Alford In Video

Social media reactions to the video have been supportive of Lamar’s portrayal. Many fans have highlighted the contrast between Drake’s accusations and the wholesome depiction of Lamar’s family in “Not Like Us.” One commenter noted, “Kendrick’s family is so cute 😭❤,” capturing the sentiment echoed by many who appreciate the authenticity and positivity showcased in the video. The significance of Alford’s presence cannot be overstated. By appearing in the video, Alford sends a clear message of support and unity.

Furthermore, this stands in stark contrast to Drake’s accusations. What do you guys think? Is this a deliberate move by Lamar to address any misconceptions about his personal life? Have you got a chance to see the “Not Like Us” video? Is there any way Drake could respond from this? Share your thoughts on HNHH!

Kendrick Lamar’s Fiancée Whitney Alford Will Appear In “Not Like Us” Video

Kendrick Lamar is really building up the anticipation. The rapper played “Not Like Us” five times during his “Pop Out” show on Juneteenth. He followed that staggering performance with a music video shoot in Compton. An official release date for the “Not Like Us” video has not yet been announced. That said, the rapper has blessed us with teaser photos from the anticipated video. Some of them are predictable, like the crowd shots of Compton citizens. Others, however, are a bit more surprising.

One of the most striking photos released in relation to the video is Kendrick Lamar and his family. The rapper can be seen posing alongside his fiancee, Whitney Alford, and their two children. All four of them are staring into the camera. It’s a pose that evokes the artwork for To Pimp a Butterfly or the collector’s edition of DAMN, given the stark, black-and-white color scheme. Those who have been following the K. Dot and Drake beef, however, know that Alford’s presence is huge. Drake accused Lamar of abusing his fiancee and being estranged from his family on “Family Matters.” He also alleged that Lamar’s son was actually fathered by his manager, Dave Free.

Kendrick Lamar’s Kids Also Appear In The Teaser Photos

Whitney Alford has not commented on these accusations. She has, however, shown support for Kendrick Lamar since the beef “ended.” Alford attended the aforementioned “Pop Out” show. She was spotted in the audience alongside her two children. She also, famously, provided narration for Lamar on the 2022 double album, Mr. Morale and the Big Steppers. The rapper delved into his various failings as a partner on the album, especially when it came to infidelities. Alford and Lamar have not aired out their current situation via social media, so it’s unclear what their current dynamic is.

Alford’s presence, however, does step on what Drake was trying to achieve with his diss tracks. The 6 God clearly wanted to paint a picture of Kendrick Lamar as being a bad partner and father. The fact that his entire family is on hand, and appearing in the “Not Like Us” music video, though, takes the wind out of whatever was left in the “Family Matters” sails. Behind-the-scenes footage from the video shoot also suggests that Lamar called on his former TDE label mates to make cameos. He’s bringing everybody to this party, it seems.

Whitney Alford Emphatically Raps To Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” In Background Of Denzel Curry’s IG Story

Kendrick Lamar’s fiancée, Whitney Alford, can be seen rapping along to the hit diss track, “Not Like Us,” in the background of a video that Denzel Curry posted from the rapper’s concert in Los Angeles from earlier this week. When Curry posted the clip to confirm he was in attendance at the star-studded event, eagle-eyed fans noticed an impassioned Alfrod rapping the song in the background. Drake has brought her and Lamar’s relationship up several times during their ongoing feud. He’s accused Lamar of abusing his partner and claimed he hasn’t seen their children in years.

“Unfortunately no matter how many of these vids come out, drake fans will continue to act like Whitney was abused with no evidence,” one fan wrote in response to the clip on X (formerly Twitter). “I guarantee if Whitney literally comes on video saying ‘Drake is a liar my man never hit me’ his fans will just say she’s lying cause she’s scared.” Another user wrote: “Drake fans will say Kendrick forced her to sing along and know every word. In all seriousness, this is wholesome asf and great to see.”

Lamar’s feud with Drake was a centerpiece of The Pop Out – Ken & Friends. He performed several diss tracks from the beef before ending by doing “Not Like Us” several times over and over again. “Y’all ain’t gonna let anyone disrespect the West Coast, huh? Oh, y’all ain’t gonna let nobody mock and imitate our legends, huh?” he asked at one point.

DJ Akademiks Caught Deleting Tweet Claiming Dave Free & Whitney Alford Skipped Kendrick Lamar’s Show

DJ Akademiks has always made it crystal clear to his fans that Drake is his favorite artist. Overall, this was especially prevalent during Drake’s feud with Kendrick Lamar. Although fans were mostly on K-Dot’s side, Akademiks found himself defending Drizzy over and over again. Furthermore, there were multiple times when Akademiks’ reporting on his pages would lean one way. For instance, his Akademiks TV page was doing a whole lot of cheerleading last night.

If you follow the account, you probably saw all sorts of sarcastic tweets go out. It was a brutal display, and there was one instance where Ak got ahead of himself. In the tweet down below, you can see that a fan took a screenshot of a deleted Akademiks TV post. When you see the contents of the tweet, you will see why Ak took it down. Essentially, he claimed that Whitney Alford and Dave Free were not in attendance at the show. However, that was disproven by various videos in which Alford could be seen with her kids. Not to mention, Dave Free was heavily included in the credits.

DJ Akademiks Got Proven Wrong Incredibly Fast

Drake fans were in complete disarray last night. If the “OVO Community” has ever popped up on your timeline, you know they can do some damage. However, if you are a Kendrick fan, then you had yourself a pretty incredible night. For DJ Akademiks, it wasn’t the greatest. But that’s okay. It seems like Drake is looking to drop some music this summer. If you are a fan of the Canadian, all is not lost, at least for now.

Let us know what you thought of DJ Akademiks and his coverage of the event, in the comments section down below. Do you feel as though he was being purposely biased throughout the evening? Whitney Alford’s Attendance At Kendrick Lamar’s “Pop Out” Show Has Fans Calling Drake A Liar

Kendrick Lamar fans have a lot to digest from “The Pop Out” last night (Wednesday, Juneteenth), whether it’s concerning the Drake beef or just celebrating the West Coast. On the former point, arguably the less impactful of the two, there was one particular attendee in the stands that caught many fans’ attention… to be more specific, multiple concert-goers. K.Dot’s partner Whitney Alford was there to watch the whole thing go down, seemingly with their children together as well. Given all the things that the Toronto superstar said about their relationship, a lot of fans now think that his words don’t ring as true as he or anyone else thought.

Moreover, if you forgot, Drake claimed that Kendrick Lamar is actively cheating on Whitney Alford, physically abused her, and that he barely sees his kids after moving to a Brooklyn apartment. Of course, the Compton lyricist already spoke on the strain of his bond with Whitney on Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers, so chastising an imperfect relationship didn’t become that surprising or notable. What did shock listeners was Drizzy’s claim that one of their children is actually Dave Free’s, who is a close collaborator and business partner of Kendrick’s. To be fair, OVO Stans also jumped to conclusions much in the same way that pgLang affiliates are now when Whitney’s IG account was silent on Father’s Day. No party has responded to the Toronto superstar’s allegations.

Whitney Alford & Kids At Kendrick Lamar’s “Pop Out”

However, it’s also arguable that physical presence speaks louder than online ones, and either way, we don’t really know for sure what their relationship looks like, nor should we. The important thing is that she and presumably thier family were there to support Kendrick Lamar. Still, this isn’t the only way in which this show seemed to represent a direct response to that rumor. Dave Free produced the show, and his inclusion at the very top of that credits list meant for many Mr. Morale fans that he was actively combating Drake’s narrative of division or tension between them.

Meanwhile, fans speculated quickly on what Drake’s thoughts on all of this are, and reached some interesting conclusions. Obviously, that depends a lot on which “side” they chose to support in this Kendrick Lamar battle. We’re sure that many other elements of “The Pop Out” will continue to fuel this post-beef discussion. But on the family front, things seem more tranquil than these back-and-forths led on.

Are Kendrick Lamar And His Fiancée Whitney Alford Still Together?

It was probably safe to say that Kendrick Lamar “won” his little tiff with Drake back in May after Drake essentially waved the white flag and went into exile (read: on vacation) in the wake of the massive success of Kendrick’s diss track “Not Like Us” — and the epic failure of Drake’s return fire, “The Heart Part 6.”

But Kendrick Lamar wasn’t quite ready to let things lie, using his Pop Out concert in LA to not only beat a dead horse but to scorch the earth it was buried in, too. Meanwhile, Kendrick Lamar’s fiancée, Whitney Alford, was in attendance after Drake’s diss records cast aspersions on her relationship with his rival. If anyone was wondering whether Kendrick and Whitney are still together after all the hoopla generated by Drake’s diss tracks, this may not be the definitive answer they were looking for, but it seems to prove they’re still on good terms, if nothing else. (They’d have to be, they have two kids together.)

Meanwhile, the list of those celebrities who “popped out” at last night’s concert is extensive and appears to include many of those who Drake would have considered homies before. The tough breaks keep coming for the Canadian star, but he did bring this on himself.

Kendrick Lamar’s Fiancée Whitney Alford And Kids Spotted At “Pop Out” Show

Kendrick Lamar was declared the winner of the Drake battle. His songs hit harder, and did better on the Billboard charts. If there was any doubt as to whether he was the victor, it was squashed on Juneteenth. The rapper put on his “Pop Out” show in Los Angeles, which featured appearances from a host of icons and TDE affiliates. The most surprising appearance of the night, however, came from Kendrick Lamar’s fiancée, Whitney Alford.

Alford was spotted by fans during the concert. iPhone footage was taken of Alford sitting next to her and Lamar’s kids. Innocuous on the surface, but those who have been keeping up with the Kendrick Lamar vs. Drake battle know that Alford’s presence was not guaranteed going into the evening. Drake has made grim accusations against Lamar on record. Many of them had to do with Alford, and the rumor that the Compton rapper has been abusive towards her. Drake made this claim on the chilling “Family Matters.” “They hired a crisis management team,” he spit. “To clean up the fact that you beat on your queen.”

Kendrick Lamar’s Family Was In Attendance

Drake also cast doubt on Alford’s relationship with Kendrick Lamar’s business partner, Dave Free. He went as far as to speculate that Free is the real father of Lamar and Alford’s son. These rumors have persisted for weeks. Fans pointed out that Whitney Alford failed to wish Lamar a Happy Father’s Day, despite previously wishing herself a Happy Mother’s Day on social media. Drake’s accusations have remained purely speculative, however. Alford has never addressed the rapper’s claims, nor has she publicly spoken about her relationship with Lamar.

The only time Whitney Alford has talked about Lamar, in fact, has been on record. She narrates three different songs on the rapper’s Mr. Morale and the Big Steppers (2022), including the album opener, “United In Grief.” Alford is also photographed holding her son on the cover. Kendrick Lamar does not speak about his fiancée, either, but he did admit to relationship woes in Mr. Morale‘s penultimate song, “Mother I Sober.” “I made it home, seven years of tour, chasin’ manhood,” he rapped. “But Whitney’s gone, by time you hear this song.” It appears, at least, publicly, that the two have figured things out.
