Fat Trel Reportedly Arrested In DC As Footage Surfaces Online

Fat Trel has reportedly been arrested in his home city of Washington, D.C., and we now have some new footage to look at concerning the alleged incident. Moreover, a clip shared by ABC reporter Beatrice Peterson shows him sitting on a wall with his arms extended out beside him during what appears to be a sobriety test for police. Per Peterson, law enforcement pulled the Definition Of Big Dude collaborator over on Wednesday (August 28) due to a traffic stop for running a red light. He “was reportedly under the influence, he had an open container and had been driving on a revoked license,” Peterson claims.

Furthermore, it still seems like Fat Trel is continuing his album rollout for this week, so it seems like this won’t change those plans. The last headline we heard from him was about Master P allegedly owing him and many other artists money. “I feel like we are destroying each other by not thinking,” P said on The Breakfast Club last year. “We just talking. Me, I’m a humble man. I’m a God-fearing man.

Fat Trel Arrested In D.C.

“I come from the streets, I tried to change my life,” Master P continued concerning Fat Trel and others’ accusations. “I want to show people how to grow up, change and do what I’ve done, I feel like we don’t value relationships no more. All we value is views, TikToks, likes, followers. But what about when you burning those bridges and you have to come back on that bridge? Everything that go up come down. Anybody give you an opportunity, you should be able to value that and be thankful.” “This other thing happened six years ago,” he said of allegedly not paying Jess Hilarious for film production work. “I’m saying, why are we arguing and fussing about that? Other cultures are not doing that…That’s the past. We can’t change the past but we can change the future. But we can be thankful of somebody gave me an opportunity.

I’ve only given people opportunities,” Master P responded to Fat Trel. “Ive never forced an artist to make music or go into the studio. It’s sad that it’s always us against us. But I’m going to keep educating the ones that want to learn and grow. And to everyone I’ve crossed paths with, I wish them success.”

Travis Scott & Playboi Carti’s “FE!N” Played At White House, Seems To Drown Out Protests

For some reason, the White House seemingly played Travis Scott and Playboi Carti’s “FE!N,” which rang all around the surrounding area of Lafayette Square, or at least, from what a recently surfaced video can gather. Given that you can hear a lot of commotion and what sounds like chants in the background, plus the “Free Gaza” message that is displayed in the video, conspiracy theories emerged that officials played music to quell protestors calling for the United States to advocate for a ceasefire in the Israel and Palestine conflict. Thousands gathered around the government building, and since this clip is from the nighttime, it’s unclear what the status of these protests were at the time.

In addition, it’s important to consider that the city of Washington, D.C. celebrated its annual Capital Pride events this weekend as well, so there was a lot going on in the city both indifferent to and against government action. We can’t confirm whether or not this was actually the case for Travis Scott and Playboi Carti’s “FE!N,” so take this interpretation with a grain of salt. What we do know is that the duo will both probably perform this song either together or separately at Chicago’s Summer Smash festival from Lyrical Lemonade next week. As one of the most explosive mainstream rap hits of the past year, it should make for a pretty cool moment.

Elsewhere, we’re sure that Travis Scott and Playboi Carti will continue to stretch “FE!N” out to its maximum potential and replay value. They’ve played it over and over again at concerts, gave SNL a nice rendition, performed it at the Grammys, and so much more. Hopefully this White House cameo is all a big misunderstanding. Using that track as a way to silence protestors would be an ugly evolution for it.

Meanwhile, if you are still in the D.C. area -– whether you’re protesting, celebrating Pride Month, or just going about your day -– we hope you stay safe and alert during this hectic time in the city. Keep fighting your good fight. If you’re just a Travis Scott and Playboi Carti fan excited about a White House shoutout, we’re sure that other collabs like this year’s “Type S**t” with Metro Boomin and Future have you fiending for another. We’ll see when’s the next time that the “Green & Purple” duo connect.

Taylor Swift To Be Parodied At Gridiron Dinner

Taylor Swift is among the prominent figures who will be parodied at tonight’s Gridiron Club and Foundation Dinner. Swift will be the subject of one of the event’s signature musical skits. Furthermore, President Joe Biden will be making his first appearance in office at the event. For the first time since 1898, foreign heads of state will be in attendance. Irish Taoiseach Leo Varadkar and Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas will both be in attendance.

The Gridiron Dinner is one of the few remaining white-tie events. It’s a celebration of journalism, politics, and the relationship between the two fields. Similar to the White House Correspondents Dinner, the President is expected to attend and make self-deprecating remarks. Biden is expected to speak at 10:05pm EST. Vice President Kamala Harris and her husband Doug Emhoff will also be in attendance.

Elsewhere, Swift “won over” the Chiefs’ O-Line with homemade Pop-Tarts, head coach Andy Reid has claimed at the NFL Combine. “She likes to cook, so she made the offensive linemen these homemade pop tarts. She didn’t give me one, and the offensive linemen definitely didn’t give me one,” Reid told Mike Florio and Chris Simms. Swift is an avid baker, dating as far back as a viral Tumblr cookie recipe a decade ago. “”We’re having pregame meal and Taylor is so nice, she comes in by herself and she’s so cool. She made her homemade cinnamon rolls for Travis for pregame meal. I’m a juicer right now trying to be vegan and gluten-free, but I absolutely had to sample some of that cinnamon roll on game day,” former NFL QB Bernie Kosar told a radio show in December 2023.

Back at the Combine, Reid also spoke on his relationship with Swift, whom he first met during his tenure with the Eagles. “I knew her dad and her mom — good, solid people. I met her when she was young. And she’s so grounded for who she is. I mentioned somewhere that since the queen passed away, she might be the most famous woman in the world, but she handles it,” Reid said.

Baby Jamo Crashing Car Into Capitol Building Barricade Leads To DC Rapper’s Arrest

The United States Capitol Building has seen a lot in its day. Of course, things as of late have become particularly chaotic. The MAGA riots were obviously the most tumultuous action in recent memory. Now, DC-based rapper Baby Jamo is doing his part to change that. In the early hours of Monday (November 6) morning, he was arrested by Capitol Police after crashing his car into a barricade near the government building alongside Onosetale Okojie. To make matters worse, the vehicle in question was stolen. Weapons are also being linked to the men, surmounting in a large number of charges.

“Carrying a pistol without a license, unauthorized use of a vehicle, and unlawful entry of a motor vehicle” are all on the list for Jamo (born Ricardo Glass). The rising star is also accused of “receiving stolen property of $1,000 or more, possession of a large capacity ammunition feeding device, fleeing from a law enforcement officer in a motor vehicle, reckless driving,” and several other damning charges. As HipHopDX reports, Capitol Police put out a press release on the incident earlier today. They noted that the crashed car was a white Infiniti Q50.

Capitol Police Arrest Baby Jamo on Monday Morning

When authorities saw the driver idling at a green light they believed him to be impaired. As they attempted to perform a routine traffic stop, Jamo and his passenger reportedly sped away. This sent them crashing into the Capitol Building barricade. Not quick to give up, the “Back Door Con Artist” and Okojie then tried to escape on foot but ultimately were caught by police separately. When they searched the area afterward, guns (including one with an illegal “giggle switch”) were discovered. It currently remains unclear how the weapons were tied to Jamo and his affiliate, but we’ll surely have more details soon.

Baby Jamo isn’t the only rapper who’s currently caught up in some serious legal woes. Overseas in the Dominican Republic, 6ix9ine is getting comfortable as he prepares to spend the next six months residing there after assaulting some local producers with the help of his goons. Read more about that at the link below, and check back later for more hip-hop/pop culture news updates.

Donald Trump May Get House Arrest Rather Than Prison Time

Donald Trump is currently facing 91 felonies across four separate indictments. If Trump was found guilty of all of them, that could result in over 700 years of prison time. Of course, he likely would simply get a collection of life sentences without parole. However, a DC insider has now suggested that Trump might not see the inside of a cell at all. “In a normal case, yes, he would be jailed for contempt of court, but as a practical matter, he can’t be. They can’t house the Secret Service in jail and all the rest of it. It’s likely to be house arrest,” explained longtime DC inside Jonathan Alter.

The main effect of a Trump guilty verdict would be that he would be barred from holding elected office until he had served his sentence. While some Republicans, such as Mike Huckabee, have warned that his could lead to a violent uprising from right-wing sources, that is likely nothing more than fear-mongering. However, it will likely not sit well with many people that Trump will get to live out his sentence in his palatial Bedminster estate or Mar-a-Lago.

Trump Gets Booed In Iowa

Meanwhile, Donald Trump was booed and trolled relentlessly as he watched the Iowa-Iowa State rivalry game on September 9. Fans consistently booed the former President as multiple photos appeared online of Trump waving to a crowd where multiple people were giving him the finger. Meanwhile, a small private aircraft flew over Jack Trice Stadium carrying a banner that read “Where’s Melania?”. While many people have pointed out that this occurred in a state that Trump won by eight points, that statistic is somewhat misleading. While Trump did win Iowa, he lost Story County, where Iowa State is located, by 18 points.

Things had gone well for Trump to begin the day. Before heading to the stadium, Trump had visited the chapter house of Alpha Gamma Rho, an agricultural fraternity. He was also greeted by throngs of fans all over campus. However, football fans a different breed entirely and they weren’t happy to see Trump in attendance for the most part. Furthermore, Ron DeSantis was also at the game and got his fair share of boos and middle fingers. Republican voters in the state caucus on January 15, with Trump currently holding a 30+ point lead over DeSantis. As for the game – Iowa beat Iowa State 20-13 to take back the Cy-Hawk Trophy.

Beyoncé Declared Washington DC As The ‘Eerbody On Mute War Winner’

Throughout her Renaissance tour, Beyoncé has issued a fun challenge to her audiences: When she sings the line “Look around / Everybody on mute” from Renaissance highlight “Energy,” the audience is supposed to remain as quiet as they possibly can. Well, Beyoncé was particularly impressed by one tour stop, as she declared one city the winner: Washington DC.

On August 6, Beyoncé performed at FedExField in Landover, Maryland (just a few miles outside of the DC city limits). Fan-shoot footage shows that when it came to the moment of truth, most people in attendance did a terrific job of shutting their mouths and allowing a profound near-silence to settle across the venue. Beyoncé even gave DC an official acknowledgement, writing on her website that the city was the “eerbody on mute war winner.”

While that moment went well, the evening got off to a rocky start: Before the show started, FedExField issued a shelter-in-place order due to lightning in the area. Fans were eventually allowed to return to their sets, but it did cause a delay for the show. Beyoncé came through, though: The singer paid $100,000 to extend the DC Metro trains by an hour, so fans would be able to get home. The money paid to “keep all 98 stations open for customers to exit and operational expenses.”
