Cardi B & Latto Accept Megan Thee Stallion’s Twerk Challenge, But There’s A Catch

Cardi B and Latto have been challenged to participate in Megan Thee Stallion’s twerk-off online, and they both have unique reasons for hesitation despite their excitement. “Lord I gotta get these rusty knees ready,” Bardi accepted under Natalie Nunn’s video of her contributions to the trend, who egged her on to join. It seems like Nunn was successful in this regard, but when GloRilla challenged the “Sunday Service” MC to throw her hat into the ring (or throw it back, rather), she responded with a curious obstacle. “If I call u on 3 way w my man can u tell him it’s ok,” she wrote to Big Glo.

For those unaware, this “Wanna Be” twerk challenge from Megan Thee Stallion is for GloRilla’s new song with her, “Wanna Be,” which is proving to be a massive hit with fan. The cut samples Soulja Boy’s “Pretty Boy Swag” and flips it into a confident, club-ready banger. The Houston rapper prefaced this call to action with a declaration that she has “the best a** on IG.” It might not be the manifestation of competitive spirit that we expect from femcees, but we’ll take it. After all, there’s plenty of competition going on in the hip-hop world right now.

As such, maybe it’s right to put each other at odds through more innocuous or casual things like twerking rather than actively look for rap beef. Just last night at press time (Sunday, April 7), GloRilla seemed to not want to talk about her Twitter spat with JT, instead letting her bars about femcee unity on her new mixtape Ehhhthang Ehhhthang do the talking. She, Megan Thee Stallion, Cardi B, and GloRilla all seem on good terms, and it’s nice to see them find this avenue to engage each other through. At least, one outside of rap that doesn’t cause fans to jump to dissing rumors immediately.

Meanwhile, this is also a creative way for Meg to build up more hype for her next studio album. Bringing in other artists into the fold beyond a feature or performance is actually a pretty cool thing to do to get conversations sparking. XXXTENTACION’s Son Hilariously Tries The One Bad Word Challenge

One particular viral challenge that’s taken off recently has aimed at parents and children. The challenge involved parents setting up a camera somewhere in a room with the promise that their child can say one curse word when they leave the room. The results have been hilarious with parents returning to find all kinds of bizarre and hilarious content when they return. Now, XXXTENTACION’s son became the most recent to take on the challenge, but it didn’t go as planned.

In the new video, X’s baby mother sets up the viral challenge for his son. In the video, she leaves him alone in a room with the promise that he can say one swear word but he doesn’t exactly make the most of the opportunity. Instead, he shows off just how much of a kid he is. He pulls the hood over top of a Spider-Man costume he was already wearing before showing off his kicks and punches. In the comments, fans crack jokes about how adorable the clip is. “Man don’t even know how to be bad, good job mom” one of the top comments reads. “went EXACTLY how it should’ve went” another highly-liked comment agrees. X’s son isn’t even the first rapper child to try the challenge. Earlier this week one of NBA Youngboy’s sons did the one bad word challenge and it had about the opposite effect. In that video, rather than choosing not to participate he arguably over participated getting out numerous bad words in the process. It set up a hilarious moment when his mother returned to the room and quipped that he was “doing too much.”

There’s a new trend making the rounds online that children and parents are participating in. The trend revolves around parents leaving their children alone on camera with the promise that they can say one curse word while they’re gone. Hilarious videos from the trend have been racking up millions of views online and now NBA Youngboy’s son is the most recent to join in. His mother filmed a video leaving him in the bathroom with permission to swear once and the results were hilarious.

The first funny thing that happens is he takes advantage of the opportunity and then some. He rattles off multiple curses in quick succession before his mother comes rushing back in. She concludes the hilarious video by quipping that he “did too much.” Fans in the comments couldn’t help but relate it to his dad. NBA Youngboy is no stranger to swearing himself and that got brought up in the comments. “Yeah thats NBA youngboys son” one of the top comments reads. “One word” another post jokes about his reluctance to stick to just one. Sukihana may be well-known for her raunchy and viral antics, but she can also make an Internet splash for much more wholesome reasons. Sure, those also come with their fair share of wildness and social media fixation, but such is the nature of online content. Moreover, she recently did a four-minute Walmart challenge with two Jacksonville, Florida mothers and their children. If you’re wondering what that means, each family had four minutes to get as much food as they could, and the rapper and reality TV personality would pay for it all. Needless to say, they got a lot of food in that short timespan, or for however long she let it go on.

Furthermore, many will probably immediately blast Sukihana for making this kind of content. Many see stuff like this as exploitative, voyeuristic, virtue-signaling, or way too informal or played up for views and engagement to take it seriously. However, she is doing a good deed at the end of the day, one that many mothers strive to do for their children every single day. As such, think what you think about this, but you at least have to commend the Delaware native for this gesture, no matter how big, small, costly, or viral.

At the very least, it’s more beneficial that what she usually makes headlines for, such as her beef with Khia. Regardless of all that, it seems like this is something that will become more common moving forward. In fact, this is the second time that Sukihana has done this for families, the first instance being for mothers in Atlanta. Much like this challenge iteration in Jacksonville, those who participated were incredibly grateful for her help, and this likely resonated with a lot of mothers worldwide, whether they’re in the trenches or living large.

TikTok trends have become a form of family bonding after its popularity grew following the surge of the pandemic. A recent peculiar recipe has made its way to popularity on the app. Cardi B and Offset have joined one of the most recent trends in a light-hearted form of bonding with their family. The couple has two kids together Kulture, four years old, and Wave, One-year-old. Cardi B shares her rendition of the spicy bowl recipe on her Tik Tok account. On Wednesday, Cardi excitedly uploaded her recipe as requested by Offset to her 21.4 million TikTok Followers.

The Spicy Bowl recipe gained virality due to its stomach-bending combination of ingredients. These ingredients include hot-flavored sausages, hot sauce, crushed red peppers, sliced pickles, jalapenos, boiled eggs, and a host of spices of choice. Each of these ingredients combined a host of spices that creates the recipe’s distinct flavor. Many creators have begun to sell their own as the recipe has become a hot commodity to try. With excitement, Cardi is seen applying each ingredient to a blow for her family to try. “My man been asking me to do this spicy bowl, this trending spicy bowl sh*t so I’m going to do it for him,” she said. Offset is seen to be nervous but excited to try the popular dish. Surprisingly, he enjoys the dish. “I’ll put this sh*t in a soup,” he said. Concerned about the spice, Kulture hands him a cup of water.

Moreover, Offset has been sharing ways he honors his family. This week, He shared a touching tribute to his children by getting portraits tattooed on his legs. The tattoo shows all of his children. Last month, he revealed a full-back portrait he received of his late cousin Takeoff. Takeoff was tragically killed this past October.

Furthermore, Cardi graced the red carpet of the highly anticipated Met Gala ball. The Karl Lagerfeld tribute theme became the talk of social media as fans tuned in to see the high-fashioned looks on this year’s carpet.
