Chloe Bailey Shares A Cover Of Muni Long’s Hit “Made For Me”

Fans of Chloe Bailey are primarily used to one thing on her Instagram, stunning fit pics. Nearly every function she attends and even some of her own vacations are retreats are often accompanied by pictures showing off her good looks and good taste. But she’s also not shy about sharing her own version of other hit songs by some of her contemporaries. Last year, she shared a video singing one of the biggest rap songs of the year, Gunna’s “fukumean.” Now she’s taken on a breakthrough R&B track from early 2024 to give her take on the song.

That track is “Made For Me” by Muni Long. It’s a follow-up to her breakthrough hit “Hrs & Hrs” from 2022 that’s off to a great start on the charts. The song currently sits inside the top 30 with the chance to potentially climb even higher in later weeks. Now Bailey is cosigning the song while also sharing her own rendition of it. Last year, Chloe helped bat back rumors that her sister and musical collaborator Halle Bailey was secretly pregnant. Despite how much they fought back fan speculation, Halle was actually pregnant the entire time. She gave birth to her first child last month, at which point everyone involved opened up on the relief of no longer having to keep the secret.

A few weeks later she described the pregnancy as the “best kept secret ever.” Many fans fought back at that suggestion citing just how much speculation swirled about her potentially being pregnant for months before she gave birth. Beyonce Called Out For Taking Publishing Rights From Songwriters By Tiffany Red

Fans of music are no strangers to hearing stories about shady dealings behind the scenes. A lot of the time that comes from artists themselves who reveal after the fact that they were locked into predatory record contracts. That also comes to light when there are public disputes between artists and labels. For much of 2023 pop singer Sky Ferreira made a public spat over her label refusing to release her new album for years. But now one of the biggest artists in all of music, Beyonce, is being accused of her own allegedly unfair behavior towards songwriters.

In a recently shared video, songwriter TIffany Red makes some allegations about the singer. She starts the clip off by complimenting Bey, describing her as the Michael Jackson of her generation. But that also means she could potentially have the power to change some of the mechanisms of the music industry. But she goes on to cite specific examples of songs from Beyonce’s album Renaissance. She claims that they had been written years before the album was assembled. Despite that she says that Bey got 25% of the publishing rights for the tracks. Go sell it to Lumidee. beyonce isn’t forcing you to work with her. You want to write for beyonce because it’s BEYONCE and that is why she gets publishing,” the most liked response to her post reads.

Fivio Foreign Opens Up on Guidance He Received From The Hip-Hop Police

Last week, Fivio Foreign dropped his new album Pain & Love 2. The project is his first since 2022’s B.I.B.L.E and once again sports some impressive features. Vory, Lil Tjay, Swae Lee, Meek Mill, 41, Sheff G, Popcaan, and Rowdy Rebel all appear in the tracklist of the album. Singles from the project like “Get Deady” and “Same 24” are already racking up millions of streams and the sales numbers from the album’s first week will drop over the weekend.

As a result of the new album dropping Fivio has been making the rounds on various interview shows. During an appearance on The Breakfast Club, Fivio made some interesting revelations about his interactions with the NYPD’s “hip-hop police.” He cited a specific officer whom the hosts of the show were already familiar with. He explains that the officer in question gave him some advice that made him change his approach. The officer specifically warns him to make the most of the opportunity he’s been given to succeed in rap and not waste it like others have. 50 Cent is one of the most active celebrities on Instagram. He uses the platform for a variety of different purposes. Often he’s flexing his own achievements and status. Other times he’s commenting on the social and political issues of the day. For much of the second half of last year he was blasting Diddy almost daily with a variety of posts taking aim at the rap mogul new series of lawsuits. But he also occasionally pulls back the curtain on the music, film, and TV industries to try and identify when he sees injustice.

That was the case recently when 50 shared a clip of Terence Howard. In the video, Howard is explaining how little money he made off of Hustle & Flow because of the way Paramount structured his contract. He revealed that he’s had to go the legal route to try and get the money they owe him. XXXTENTACION Crime Scene Body Cam Footage Leaks Online

It’s been almost 6 years since XXXTENTACION was tragically murdered. He was the victim of a premeditated robbery outside a store in Florida that tragically resulted in him being fatally shot. Cellphone videos of the aftermath of the incident quickly made their way online as the news broke. But now years later bodycam footage from one of the officers who responded to the scene has leaked online.

The video is very eerie for fans who remember pictures of the scene in the aftermath of the shooting. While the clips don’t feature anything explicit they do show some of the immediate action taken by police following the shooting. In the specific footage that leaked the officer wearing the camera talks to multiple witnesses. He takes notes as two people who saw what went down explain the details of the situation. It’s unclear how the footage finally came to light after multiple years but it serves as a grim reminder for fans of the late rapper. XXXTENTACION’s Son Hilariously Tries The One Bad Word Challenge

One particular viral challenge that’s taken off recently has aimed at parents and children. The challenge involved parents setting up a camera somewhere in a room with the promise that their child can say one curse word when they leave the room. The results have been hilarious with parents returning to find all kinds of bizarre and hilarious content when they return. Now, XXXTENTACION’s son became the most recent to take on the challenge, but it didn’t go as planned.

In the new video, X’s baby mother sets up the viral challenge for his son. In the video, she leaves him alone in a room with the promise that he can say one swear word but he doesn’t exactly make the most of the opportunity. Instead, he shows off just how much of a kid he is. He pulls the hood over top of a Spider-Man costume he was already wearing before showing off his kicks and punches. Kanye West Recruited Inter Milan Fans To Record Backup Vocals For “Carnival”

Over the weekend, Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign released their highly-anticipated new collaborative album VULTURES 1. The project was first announced a few months ago before facing numerous delays. Eventually, it was revealed that the album had become three albums that would be released across the next few months. Once the first volume finally arrived fans were delighted to find a feature-stacked tracklist sporting some of the biggest names in rap.

One of the standout songs on the record for many fans is “Carnival.” In addition to West and Ty, the song also features appearances from Playboi Carti and Rich The Kid. It made waves before the album was even officially released following tweets made by Ozzy Osbourne. The legendary metal singer took issue with an uncleared sample of a Black Sabbath performance that West used during the listening party for the album. The sample was eventually replaced entirely on the officially released version of the song. But now fans are once again talking about the song after a new video emerged earlier this week.

In a new video making the rounds online, fan got a peek at how the VULTURES standout was made. “This man Ye really got Inter Milan ultras (fan club of the best football club in Italy rn) in the studio to record the background vocals for Carnival lol. This the type of sh*t that no one else does” the caption of a tweet sharing the video reads.

The tweet is accompanied by a video of what looks like more than a dozen Inter Milan fans. They’re in the studio together recording background vocals. The trend revolves around parents leaving their children alone on camera with the promise that they can say one curse word while they’re gone. His mother filmed a video leaving him in the bathroom with permission to swear once and the results were hilarious.

Bow Wow has been in the spotlight since childhood, and like many of his contemporaries, the recording artist faced serious turmoil in early adulthood, perhaps as a result of all the pressure he was under from a young age. In a new sitdown with The Art of Dialogue, Shad Moss speaks candidly about how sipping lean led to extra drama in his personal life, not to mention the L’s he took in his career as a result. “I was sipping so much syrup, I said this after Mac Miller died. I spoke on this s**t, I was drinking that s**t [all the time],” he recalled.

“If you go back and watch The Road to Platinum series on BET, you’ll see so many white Styrofoam cups. I was losing my f**king mind. That lean s**t had me f**ked up. I was just always irritated,” Bow Wow vented to the outlet. Things became so bad, as HipHopDX reports, that Lil Wayne once gave the Like Mike star a “baby bottle” full of lean to soothe him. As he was heading out on tour with Chris Brown in 2007, things for the 36-year-old became particularly dangerous, leading to a much-needed wake-up call.

“The opening night was in Cincinnati and when I got off stage, I collapsed. I went straight to Cincinnati University Hospital. My stomach was so f**ked up I ended up going back home to Atlanta after the first show,” Bow Wow looked back on the scary moment. “I’m sitting in the hospital not knowing what the f**k going on, and I get back home and the s**t gets worse. I’m throwing up, I’m shivering in the bed, I’m sweating, I’m going through it. I didn’t know I was having withdrawals. That’s how much lean I was consuming.” Moss made sure to thank his former publicist, Pattie Webster, for protecting his image by telling the world that her client dropped out of the joint tour with Breezy to recover from dehydration.

“That’s just good PR. We didn’t want the world to know that 18, 19-year-old Bow was heavy on the drank,” he said before urging anyone watching to consider giving up their drug habits. The impact that lean and other substances have far beyond the music industry is disappointing to see, but as people continue to share their negative experiences with using, it becomes easier for others to resist walking the same path.
