Vanessa Bryant Shares Touching Tribute To Kobe Bryant

Kobe Bryant’s death still doesn’t feel real to the NBA community. The NBA legend tragically passed away in a plane crash in January of 2020. Sadly the accident took the lives of eight others. Including Vanessa and Kobe’s daughter Gianna. Time has moved on, yet the memories of those lost will forever remain. On Tuesday, Vanessa Bryant shared a touching photo of her and her late husband. The photo is to celebrate the anniversary of when the couple finally tied the knot.

Kobe’s legacy on the court doesn’t need an introduction. However, just to show those who may not remember, let’s break it down. Bryant was an 18-time all-star, 2-time scoring champ, 5-time NBA champ, 15-time All-NBA, Rookie of the Year, 12-time all-defense, league MVP, 2-time Finals MVP, and last but certainly not least Hall-of-Famer. When building a Mount Rushmore of the greatest players of all time, Bryant is comfortably in that lineup.

Kobe Bryant Was More Than A Basketball Player

However, Bryant was more than a basketball star. Bryant was also intensely involved in his family life. The NBA legend enjoyed watching his daughters play basketball. As well as bringing them along when he sat in the front row to watch his Lakers. Bryant took the opportunity of being a great father just as he did being a great player. The Lakers great’s memory will be more than just a basketball star. Which is exactly the way he would’ve wanted it to be.

Bryant’s tragic passing will forever be a part of the story of the NBA. It’s not fair that someone’s life can be taken away just like that. But sadly, as we all know, life isn’t fair sometimes. However, Bryant left a lasting impression on so many lives in his short time on Earth. Even to people he had never met before. The next time you think of the name Kobe Bryant, think about the legacy he left on and off the court. As well as the strength Vanessa has shown through such a trying time. Natalia Bryant Delivers Moving Speech About Kobe: Watch

Natalia Bryant is the oldest daughter of Kobe Bryant. Ever since Kobe and Gianna’s passing in 2020, Natalia has sought to help honor her father’s legacy. Overall, she and her mother Vanessa have been a dynamic duo in this regard. Their devotion to Kobe and his legacy has been wonderful to see, and they have shown great strength throughout this situation. Although things have been extremely difficult, they have been able to stay composed through all of it. Even when others are attempting to take advantage.

Recently, the Bryant family was at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, according to TMZ. For those who may not remember, Kobe had his hand and footprints cast inside of the theatre back in 2011. Over the years, his prints had been on display inside the theatre. Now, however, they are moving the prints to the forecourt so that everyone can see them. This subsequently led to a nice ceremony in which Natalia Bryant was able to give a speech. As you can see below, the speech was incredibly moving.

Natalia Bryant Honors Kobe

“I’m honored to be here today to recognize the man we all knew and love, my dad, Kobe Bryant,” Bryant said. “When most people knew him as a basketball player or storyteller, I got to know him and love him as my dad and let me tell you, he’s the MVP of girl dads, to say the least. As you visit here for years to come, I encourage you to place your hands in his and take a moment to stand in his shoes.” This was a very nice and moving speech that certainly had people reminiscing about Kobe.

Overall, this is a very cool move by the TCL Chinese Theatre. There have been many famous people to walk through its doors, and these prints are part of history. Moreover, this is all in Hollywood, which is not far from where the Lakers played all of their home games. It’s one of those moves that just makes a whole lot of sense. Let us know what you think about all of this, in the comments below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news from the sports world.
