Rihanna Kicks Back Some Shots With Friends In Barbados

Rihanna always has a good reason to go back home, and her latest trip to her native Barbados proved why in a wholesome but party-minded way. Moreover, a new video recently surfaced of her taking shots with some friends at a beach bar there over the weekend. The four of them seemed to take tequila shots as indicated by the limes, and RiRi asked the bartender for her name… And if she was allowed to drink at work so they could get her a shot, too. The bartender’s name is Rose, which got the singer very happy considering that that’s her son Riot’s middle name. The quarter (and Rose) cheered to the little one.

Furthermore, this went down at the Thunder Bay Beach Bar in Barbados, and Rihanna enjoyed a lot more when it comes to her travels. She also hit up the Crop Over Festival in a beautiful feathered dress, and A$AP Rocky and the kids are also around to help spread the good times. Overall, even though we see a lot of online content from the “Umbrella” superstar, it’s always more heartening to see these smaller, special moments. If only for a fleeting moment, it brings us as spectators closer and provides a relatable moment of reprieve through the joys of friendship… And tequila, too.

Of course, we know what you’re thinking: been there, done that, and it’s been eight years of the same headline. Nevertheless, we doubt that anticipation or desperate hype for R9 will die down until it actually comes out. So be ready for a whole lot more reports and speculative gossip where that came from.

But the most important part of this trip isn’t the drinking, nor the luxury travels, nor whatever work Rihanna’s got to do on her next project. It’s how she and A$AP Rocky went to celebrate Riot Rose’s first birthday. As such, it’s no wonder why the friends cheered to him. ASAP Rocky and Rihanna seem to be enjoying their trip to Barbados after paparazzi caught them partying on a luxury yacht over the weekend. In pictures published by The Daily Mail, the couple can be seen celebrating with family and friends. Rocky wears an unbuttoned blue and white shirt over a black undershirt with black pants. Rihanna, on the other hand, is flaunting a much more colorful look, wearing a bright green animal-print mini-dress.

Earlier in the day, the two reportedly enjoyed a ride on a Great Big Mable Sofa Inflatable. They’ve been in Barbados since at least the beginning of this month when they celebrated the first birthday of their son, Riot Rose, on the Caribbean island.

Rihanna previously discussed her feelings on being a boy mom while speaking with E! News at an event for Fenty Beauty in April. “It makes me feel really cool to be a boy mom,” she said at the time. “Like I get to be as casual and busted as I want to, but it also forces me to embrace the epic things about being a woman, and a female and all my femininity. I embrace it so much more now, like I wear pink. I go between wearing jerseys and like, ‘I’m wearing a dress today! I’m the only one in this house who can do that right now.’”

Moreover, the former just posted a series of sultry photos and sweet snapshots on Wednesday (June 26) from a boat escapade she had with her partner Hov, including some revealing fit pics and gorgeous ocean views. It seems like the power couple is getting busy with Fourth Of July celebrations early, perhaps in the Hamptons or in some other fancy and lavish locale. Either way, it seems like they’re living it up and happy to make us green with envy in the process.

Furthermore, this vacation time might cut into some of Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s other endeavors, but it serves as a warranted break, too. Queen Bey’s been very busy with COWBOY CARTER, her new haircare line, and a potential Vegas residency in the works. Meanwhile, Beyoncé’s husband Jay-Z hasn’t dropped anything music-wise in a pretty long time, and legendary hip-hop artists continue to chase that white whale and try to pull him from the shadows. “Jay always been on my list,” The Alchemist expressed during a recent sit-down with fellow producer Cardo. “I been saying it for a hundred years. It’s Jay-Z. I would love to. We linked but I keep the faith.” However, Uncle Al did also make it clear that he wouldn’t want to pressure the Brooklyn MC into anything that he doesn’t want.

Still, it looks like we’re getting relatively new Jay-Z material soon, as Shaq might drop the first ever collab between him and Nas on digital streaming platforms tomorrow (Friday, June 28). Hopefully it’s as fire as it sounds on paper if it does drop. As for Beyonce, we’re sure she’ll have a lot more to do this year, and that more surprises will follow. After all, a luxury vacation on a fancy boat is the least surprising thing either of them could do.

The post is raising eyebrows, but likely not for reasons you might expect.

Rather than flaunting her bodacious bod on land in a tiny two-piece, the black-haired beauty was enjoying herself in the water, wearing black thong-cut bottoms and a white tank, tied to show her slim waist. In the second photo, Kardashian stands in water that’s only up to her knees but poses as if she’s diving into the shallow pool in front of her. Other images show the reality starlet fully submerged into the blue waves and ringing out her hair. Of course, trolls in the comments can only focus on one thing.
