Nicki Minaj Unfollows Ice Spice & JT Amid Beef Rumors

Nicki Minaj is certainly no stranger to beefing with other artists, but now, some think she’s even cut off some of her former friends. Earlier today, social media users noticed that she unfollowed both Ice Spice and JT on Instagram. For those who don’t recall, she teamed up with Ice Spice for not one but two tracks last year, “Princess Diana” and “Barbie World.”

In May, Ice Spice’s former friend leaked a few of her text messages, in which she described Nicki as “ungrateful and delusional.” Nicki has yet to address this debacle, though Ice Spice did in her Rolling Stone interview last month. “We don’t have the closest relationship, you know? But we’re definitely good,” she said at the time, explaining that she only sent the texts out of frustration.

Nicki Minaj Sparks Speculation With Latest Instagram Activity

As for JT, Nicki had a history with the City Girls but appeared to squash the beef for good a few years ago. The “FTCU” rapper even brought JT out for her Pink Friday 2 world tour stop in Boston in April. It appeared as though all was well between the two of them until last month when some social media users think she shaded JT during a Stationhead rant. This is unconfirmed, though Nicki’s latest Instagram activity appears to back this theory up.

Of course, all of this is still pure speculation, and it’s also possible that Nicki’s unfollows didn’t mean anything at all. The Barbz aren’t convinced, however, and think there must be tea brewing under the surface. Only time will tell whether or not Nicki meant this as a statement, or if she’ll ever address it publicly. What do you think of Nicki Minaj unfollowing both Ice Spice and JT on Instagram? Why do you think she did this? Lil Yachty Re-Follows Drake On Instagram Following Intense Fan Speculation

Well, that was quick. Fans of Lil Yachty and Drake’s collaborative chemistry breathed a sigh of relief when it became clear that the former is now following the latter on Instagram. Moreover, this is because social media users initially went into a frenzy due to the Atlanta creative unfollowing the Toronto superstar, which eagle-eyed followers spotted on Tuesday (August 20). Of course, a lot of the controversy behind this is that the duo has a strong personal bond. Also, they picked a very inconvenient time to spark this sort of thing, as the rest of the world has intensely tallied up Drizzy’s enemies in the rap game for a couple of months now.

But the Kendrick Lamar and Drake battle isn’t the only factor that fans thought contributed to Lil Yachty’s unfollow. It’s also the fact that, based on some online teases, Drake is gearing up to officially release the track “Supersoak.” However, it seems like this cut no longer features Yachty. The Let’s Start Here. artist had initially leaked the original collaborative version of this song to Kai Cenat after they failed to clear the sample. The reason why is because the sampled artist, Mr. Hotspot, refused to do so unless they made a clean version of their link-up.

Lil Yachty Re-Follows Drake (If He Ever Really Unfollowed Him In The First Place)

As such, when Lil Yachty unfollowed Drake for a brief moment, one popular fan theory was that Mr. Hotspot allowed the latter to drop the song if he removed the former from it. After all, it was Yachty who spilled much of this tea on a recent podcast. During this same session, he also expressed regret over sharing his thoughts on the Kendrick Lamar beef. These comments really angered much of the OVO fanbase, and planted the seeds of doubt concerning their friendship that manifested today.

Meanwhile, Lil Yachty also has some other critics to deal with. Jim Jones challenged him to a “fashion battle” to settle the debate over Atlanta style and New York style that Yachty sparked earlier this year. Regardless of whether or not this Drake situation is anything legitimate, he will probably continue to share his unfiltered and outspoken perspective on the culture. Let’s see whether or not they will spend “Another Late Night” in the studio together or if this marks something more contentious.

Drake Takes Action Against Metro Boomin Following “Her Loss” Comments

Drake is one of the biggest artists in the entire world, and as a result, he is always up for some awards. For instance, at the Grammys next year, he will be up for rap album of the year. Overall, this is all thanks to his collaborative project with 21 Savage. Fans love this album and it only makes sense that he would get some recognition for it. He is up against stiff competition, including Travis Scott’s Utopia, and even Metro Boomin for Heroes & Villains. It will definitely be hard for him to go out and win.

Having said that, there appears to be a feud brewing between he and Metro Boomin. In a recent yet now-deleted Twitter rant, Metro said that he was frustrated with Her Loss winning all of the awards. He acknowledged that his own album had better streaming numbers and that he deserved it a bit more. Of course, fans found these comments to be pretty wild when you consider how Metro has worked with Drake in the past. Now, however, it seems like there have been some consequences.

Drake Unfollows All Who Cross Him

In the tweet above, it was revealed that Drake actually unfollowed Metro Boomin on Instagram. Although Metro still follows Drizzy, the latter decided to take some action. Overall, it seems pretty clear as to why this happened. With Metro talking about Drake’s album so recklessly, he has since been taken out of the rapper’s circle. Needless to say, things may just get a bit awkward at the Grammys as both of these artists look to take home the big win.

Hopefully, these two can find a way to reconcile their differences. After all, they have made some amazing music together, and we would hate to see egos get in the way. Let us know your thoughts on all of this, in the comments section below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news from around the music world. Young Thug’s Sister Unfollows Gunna As Trial Begins

Young Thug’s sister, HiDoraah, has unfollowed Gunna on Instagram as jury selection begins in the YSL RICO case. Gunna accepted a plea deal, last month, and received a time-served, suspended sentence.

The unfollowing comes after Gunna shared his first post on the platform since accepting the deal. The post features a photo of himself near a home studio.

“N****s acting like they switching to a side But it’s only one side,” Gunna captioned the photo. “#YslTheLabel #FreeThug&Yak GUNNA BACC!!!!!”

HiDoraah wasn’t the only one with a negative response to the post. 6in9ine called him out in the comments for referring to YSL as a “label” after admitting to it being a “gang” as part of his guilty plea.

Young Thug’s brother Unfoonk also appeared to take issue with Gunna’s presence on social media.

“All Dat Internet Shit Not P,” he wrote on his Instagram Story, using Gunna’s signature P emoji before adding, “I’m been humble with u n****s.”

Thug’s other sister, Dolly White, previously defended Gunna after he took the plea deal. Speaking on social media, she explained that calling Gunna a switch isn’t going to help Thug.

“Can y’all please stop saying that people ratted, and people this-and-that?” White said at the time. “It’s not making anybody better, it’s not making nothing good, bro. Nothing that’s going on is…helping my brother. So can y’all please stop that? Can y’all please stop? If y’all love Gunna, then y’all give him support. Like, what the fuck y’all over there doing? Y’all tripping.”

“I haven’t posted him because I was just told that nobody really supposed to have communications with each other right now,” she added. “So I don’t want to mess up his shit, so why would I just and post it?”
