Ukraine Defense Ministry Quotes Pusha-T In Tweet, Push Responds

Pusha-T Claims 'They Won't Publish' a Children's Book He's Been Trying To Write For Years

Pusha-T has had a hell of a year. From dropping one of the best albums of the year, to doing an Arby’s and NFL commercial, and getting a cosign from Tom Brady. Now it looks like the Virginia Beach MC can add another cosign to his list, from Ukraine’s Defense Ministry.

Earlier today, Ukraine’s defense ministry shared an infographic in a tweet, updating followers on the amount of Russian casualties since the invasion that began in February of this year. While the numbers of casualties seem high, what really got people’s attention was the Pusha-T lyric that was featured in the tweet.

“‘I put numbers on the boards’ @PUSHA_T” the tweet said. “Total combat losses of the enemy from Feb 24 to Sep 7:.”

Many Push fans reacted to the tweet, with many sharing their confusion over the Ukraine using a Pusha-T line.

Pusha even, somewhat unenthusiastically, responded to Ukraine’s tweet, saying “Great taste in music for the win…”

No More Vodka From Russia, President Biden Announces Sanctions Amid Ukraine Invasion

President Biden is calling for the removal of normal trade relations with Russia following its invasion of Ukraine. The move would allow for new tariffs on Russian imports, which Biden said would be a “crushing blow” to Russia’s economy.

Biden said Friday, “The free world is coming together to confront” Russian President Vladimir Putin,” and “we’re going to continue to squeeze” him.

The President is proposing the ban on imports of seafood, spirits and diamonds. This means no more caviar and vodka from that country. Biden is also calling for Congress to remove “favored nation status,” which makes it very hard for Russia to do business with other counties.

The U.S. The President said there’s bipartisan cooperation to stand up against Russia’s aggression in Eastern Europe. Biden added the U.S. will be going after Russian oligarchs as they support Russian President Vladimir Putin and harm Russia’s citizens.

Biden’s proposal would put Moscow’s trade relationship with the U.S. in the same category as North Korea and Cuba. The proposal would require congressional approval.

Young Thug 100 acres

Over the last week, many Ukrainians have fled their country after Russian President Vladimir Putin began a invasion of Ukraine under the guise of a “peacekeeping operation.” You would think that in a crisis like this, people would be decent human beings. Think again.

Over the weekend, video surfaced of African students being denied passage on a train taking citizens out of the country.

The videos spread across social media, and has prompted Young Thug, even though is thousands of miles away from the situation, to do something about it.

The Atlanta artist took to his Instagram Stories where he called upon his fellow rappers to help the thousands of African students get out of the country.

“If some of my rap brothers are in I’m willing to help Africans get out of Ukraine however I can sense they not letting us pass” Thug posted on his IG story. “Who ever holds the info for these movements please contact me ASAP I’m ready.”

Many students that are stranded in Ukraine have taken to social media to let the world know the racism that they are facing as they are trying to leave the country.

One student tweeted how the police threatened to shoot them and refused to let Africans cross into Poland and are allowing only Ukranians to pass.

“Watch how they are threatening to shoot us! We are currently at the Ukraine-Poland border. Their Police and Army refused to let Africans cross they only allow Ukrainian. Some have slept here for 2 days under this scorching cold weather, while many have gone back to Lviv.”

ICYMI: President Biden Promises To Hold Russia Accountable Amid Ukraine Invasion

biden putin

President Biden is promising the world will hold Russia accountable. In a statement late Wednesday night, Biden said his prayers are with the people of Ukraine as they “suffer an unprovoked and unjustified attack by Russian military forces.” He said Russian President Vladimir Putin’s “premeditated war” will bring a catastrophic loss of life and human suffering.

This follows reports of Russian forces invading parts of Ukraine. Ukraine is wedged between Russia and Europe.

Last Wednesday, Russian President Putin ordered a “special military operation” to protect the Donbas region of Ukraine. an eastern territory that is already held by pro-Russia rebels.

In 2014, Putin invaded and annexed Crimea, which lies just to the south of the rest of Ukraine. Then, Putin backed pro-Russia rebels who started seizing territory in eastern Ukraine.

Biden noted he is meeting with G7 counterparts on Thursday morning and then will tell the American people what consequences the U.S. and its Allies will impose on Russia.

President Biden previously warned Moscow there would be “swift and severe consequences” if Russia invaded Ukraine.

Former World Champions Wladimir Klitschko and Vitali Klitschko Are Ready To Defend Ukraine

Former boxing champions Wladimir Klitschko and Vitali Klitschko are ready for some action. The Klitschko brothers are ready to fight for their beloved country of Ukraine.

Wladimir enlisted in the Ukrainian reserve army three weeks before Russia’s invasion early Thursday, and Vitali – the mayor of Kyiv, Ukraine – said he’d also take up arms this week.

“I’m calling to all international partners to observe this tragedy that is happening nowadays in Ukraine,” Wladimir said. ” … I just want to tell you we must stay united against this aggression, against Russian aggression. Don’t let it continue happening in Ukraine. Don’t let it happen in Europe and eventually the world. United, we’re strong. Support Ukraine.”

The Klitschko brothers clearly love their country and feel that the invasion is cruel and unnecessary. In the ring, they were a combined 109-7. Their presence alone could go a long way with their fellow countrymen.
