Double T, as Cavs fans like to call him, began his NBA journey back when he was picked fourth overall in the 2011 draft out of Texas. A key cog in the system during the squad’s run to four consecutive NBA Finals appearances and one championship, Thompson always brought energy and rebounding night in and night out. He was as steady as you can get as he rarely got injured. But as time went on, he made trips to play for Sacramento, Boston, Chicago, Indiana, and most recently, the Lakers.

Maralee Nichols recently took to social media, dropping off some rare footage of her son with Tristan Thompson, Theo. Famously, news of Nichols’ pregnancy came out amid Thompson’s relationship with Khloe Kardashian, leading to their split. Nichols appears to be enjoying time with her son a lot as of late, while she claims that the pro basketball player has yet to meet him. In the clip, the 1-year-old is seen adorably picking limes from a tree.

The clips come shortly after recent news about another one of the mothers of Thompson’s kids, Jordan Craig. At the end of last month, she filed to keep his child support payments the same, despite his earnings dropping by more than $8 million. Maralee Nichols And Her Son With Tristan Thompson

Earlier this year, Thompson lost his mother Andrea, who unexpectedly passed away after a heart attack in January. Following his mother’s death, Thompson leaned on his ex, Khloe, with whom he shares two children. This was showcased on the latest season of The Kardashians. Thompson ended up moving into Khloe’s house, along with his younger brother Amari. Amari’s disabilities make him unable to care for himself. Earlier this week, it was revealed that Thompson has filed to become the 17-year-old’s legal guardian.

After Thompson’s grieving process was documented on The Kardashians, his brother Dishawn took to social media to weigh in. “Death for a storyline 🤔,” he wrote. When Tristan Thompson’s name gets brought up in the pop culture and gossip realm, it usually relates to his tales with the Kardashians. However, this time around, his first baby mama is at the center of some pretty drastic changes in his life. Moreover, Jordan Craig- the mother of their six-year-old son, recently filed a motion to keep his monthly child support payments the same despite the NBA star’s earnings dropping by over $8 million. These reports are according to Daily Mail, who reported that Craig filed an “abstract of judgement” on August 9 which creates a public record in case child support isn’t fulfilled. Apparently, she wants Thompson to continue the $40K a month payments they’ve agreed to for a long time.

Furthermore, this is one of three sets of child support that Tristan Thompson must commit to. The second is to Khloe Kardashian, and the third is to Maralee Nichols, all for an estimated combined total of $120K according to reports. Amid these commitments, some digging also revealed that the Canadian native’s income dropped from $17.7 million in 2019 to $9.2 million in 2023. It’s unclear the reason why, but it’s still going to be tough to navigate.

Still, the court hasn’t found any evidence of Tristan Thompson not being diligent with his child support payments. As such, it seems like Jordan Craig is simply doing this asa precautionary method to push for her to get the same amount of money regardless of his income. In addition, nothing suggests that Thompson has been paying less, either, so this may come as a surprise to him. Regardless, fans expressed a wide variety of opinions on this online. Some think he had it coming, while many thought that this seemed unfair.

Tristan Thompson’s brother, Dishawn Thompson, calls out the Kardashians, Khloé Kardashian specifically, for using his mother’s death as a storyline on The Kardashians.

In a follow-up, he wrote, “Don’t believe everything you see or hear on social media 95% is a lie.”

In the latest episode of The Kardashians on Hulu, the death was explored, including the trip to Toronto to support Tristan.

In February, Tristan Thompson continued remembering his late mother Andrea Thompson. Hitting Instagram, Thompson penned a letter apologizing for his faults in being a man and causing her embarrassment.

“All I can say is, I’m sorry mommy for the wrong decisions I’ve made in my life. I’m sorry for the embarrassment & pain. You raised me better than what I was able to show you,” Thompson wrote. “But I have also learned sorry is not enough. Actions speak louder than worlds. So I won’t just say sorry. Stay tuned to the ways I will show the world what an amazing son you raised. I will show you that even when we fall & make mistakes, we get back up.”

Tristan Thompson’s mother, Andrea Thompson, died suddenly due to a heart attack.

According to TMZ, Andrea had a heart attack in her Toronto home and was transferred to a local hospital but could not be resuscitated.

Thompson and Khloe Kardashian, the mother of two of Tristan’s children, traveled to Toronto together to be with his family. Khloe and Andrea were believed to have a positive relationship.

According to Daily Mail, Khloe posted a video to her Instagram story showing off a card she received for her birthday. “cannot wait to be in my 40s” the reality TV star says. “I hate being in my 30s. I think it’s the worst decade ever.” While Khloe Kardashian may not have loved her 30s, she certainly gave fans a lot of drama to pour over during that time.

Recently most of that discussion has revolved around her newest child. Khloe Kardashian had her second child with NBA player Tristan Thompson. Tatum Thompson is what he’s known by publicly but that wasn’t always his name. Last month TMZ reported that Khloe originally insisted she passes her name down to Tatum. While she never elaborated publicly on the story eventually she must have changed her mind.

Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson have also been subject to plenty of rumors about their relationship. Though they’ve weathered many scandals in the past it seems the couple are permanently separate now. Khloe Kardashian Had Son’s Name Changed

Khloe Kardashian and NBA star Tristan Thompson have two children together, a daughter True and a son Tatum. According to TMZ, their second child Tatum Thompson was originally known by an entirely different name. They reported that his last name was Kardashian and that he had a different first name, though it’s currently unclear what that was. Khloe’s decision seems like it can be explained by some of the drama that has followed her and Tristan over the years. The couple chose to have their second child via a surrogate. Sometime after that decision Thompson reportedly got model Maralee Nichols pregnant, which complicated things.

That story broke just a month before Tatum was born which helps explain Khloe Kardashian’s decision to pass her last name down to him. Since then, the relationship between Khloe and Tristan has reportedly improved resulting in a name change for their child. While the co-parents are yet to comment on the report it seems like Tatum Thompson will remain the child’s name going forward.

The NBA player purchased a home not far from his ex’s a few months back, causing many to believe they’ve been able to work through their issues regarding his various infidelities. Instead, it seems that Kardashian and her co-parent are simply trying to raise their two young children together in the most effective way possible.

Sources close to Thompson and the Good American founder say their routine has been mostly the same for months. Now that he lives closer to her, and has been playing in California for the Lakers, they’ve been able to spend more time together with True and Tatum. It’s apparently a very high priority for Khloe’s son and daughter to see their father, who also has two more kids with two other women, as much as possible.

Khloe Kardashian Reveals Surrogacy Felt “Transactional”

In a recent episode of The Kardashians, Khloe Kardashian revealed that she struggled with some difficult feelings after her child with Tristan Thompson, Tatum, arrived. She opted for a surrogate to carry her child, a choice her sister Kim has also made in the past. In the new episode, Khloe said that upon arriving to the hospital for the birth of Tatum, she was “definitely was in a state of shock.” She continued, revealing that she felt a sense of guilt for taking Tatum away from the surrogate.

Khloe said, “I felt really guilty that this woman just had my baby and I take the baby and I go in another room and we are sort of separated.” In the episode, Khloe additionally shared that she believes surrogacy is a different, but not necessarily bad, option. After keeping baby Tatum’s name a secret for almost a year, Khloe opted to share it with the world earlier this month. Khloe Says She Was “In A State Of Shock”

Despite the cheating scandal surrounding Tatum’s birth, Khloe and her family have continued to support Tristan Thompson. Following a sweet birthday post she shared for her ex, rumors of the two reuniting were recently sparked. Khloe was quick to set the record straight, claiming that she was simply supporting her family. “Stop pushing this narrative,” she wrote on Instagram, “It’s tiring.” She added, “But I suppose You guys will continue the narrative you want regardless of what I say so what’s the point. It’s exhausting but I learned people will only understand to the level of their own perception.”

“Most are stuck at believing the lies because it’s the narrative they want to fuel. Have fun…. Some things are just as simple as they seem. A family member supporting another family member ESPECIALLY during a difficult time in life,” she explained.
