Travis Scott Hits The Court With Tennis Legend John McEnroe In Nike’s Campaign For The Mac Attack Sneaker

Nike bringing back one of its classic sneakers, the Nike Mac Attack — the signature model worn by tennis legend John McEnroe — and has tapped one of its key collaborators to make the re-release even more special. The 1984 sneaker is being redesigned for Travis Scott with his trademark reversed Swoosh.

Travis was seen performing in his updated Mac Attacks in May, and today, the NikeSportswear Instagram account began the official rollout with a genuinely stylish print ad layout featuring the rapper and the tennis star side-by-side in tailored suits and Travis on the court taking a two-handed forehand in a white Nike windbreaker and shorts combo (I, for one, would love to find out the results of that).

A detail of the ad Travis Scott fans might appreciate is his briefcase, which bears the scrawl “Utopia” — the name of Travis’ long-awaited comeback album, which he’s been teasing for the better part of the past two years. While anticipation for the album is sky-high among Scott’s diehards, it was set back by the tragedy at his Astroworld Festival in 2021, which generated nearly 5,000 injury claims in addition to ten deathsand prompted the rapper to spend much of last year lying low.

Travis was said to have recently played the album for his hometown Houston Astros, implying that it could be nearing release. With Nike helping to raise his profile to pre-Astroworld levels, it could mean that Utopia‘s release is imminent. Meanwhile, the Mac Attacks have an official release date of June 23 — although the remixed Travis Scott signature version has not been announced.

Travis Scott’s Manager Tells Adin Ross Why Artists Won’t Associate With Him

Adin Ross is someone who has attracted plenty of controversy over the years. Overall, he is one of the most popular streamers in the world. However, many have felt like his content has taken a negative turn as of late. When he first burst onto the scene, he would do slot streams or he would just play 2K with the likes of Bronny James. Additionally, he would have rappers on, who would then drop impressive freestyles. Although, he now focuses on drama and will even tell other streamers to kill themselves on social media. Not to mention, he has made a plethora of other defamatory comments online.

These days, he can be found streaming on Kick, which is a lot looser with its terms of service. That said, it has been a long time since he has had an artist on his stream. Overall, Adin Ross has been a bit confused about this as it seems like a lot of these rappers have been turning him down. Well, recently, Ross hosted a stream where he got to have a chat with Travis Scott’s manager. In the stream, he got a very thorough explanation as to why rappers won’t mess with him anymore.

Adin Ross Considered To Be A Brand Risk

Essentially, Adin Ross has become a brand risk. Moreover, he has the potential to damage the reputation of artists as well. As Scott’s manager explains, Ross has hosted streams with known Nazis. Furthermore, he associated with Andrew Tate which has exacerbated things. While Ross notes that he no longer associates with these kinds of crowds, it remains true that Ross has already damaged his own reputation with artists and big brands. Only time will tell whether or not he can gain their trust back.

Social media can be hard to navigate, however, platforming Nazis is a pretty easy thing to avoid. Ross is young and still has time to learn, but his latest controversies point toward someone who is eager to be provocative. Let us know what you think of all this, in the comments section below. Robert Horry Is Confused By What Travis Scott Meant When Dropping His Name In One Of His Early Hits

Robert Horry has seven NBA championships to his name, but his name has been used in song lyrics way more than seven times.

The former Houston Rocket, Los Angeles Laker, and San Antonio Spur joined Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson’s All The Smoke last week. With around six minutes left in the nearly 90-minute episode, Barnes asked Horry to choose the “best Robert Horry name-drop in a song.”

Horry giggled before launching into his answer(s).

“I’m in so many damn songs,” Horry said. “I remember, we were at a light, and this dude pulls up next to us, and we just happened to have the windows down. We was in Pensacola, Florida, and dude was playing Kevin Gates. Kevin Gates named my name, and it’s a white guy in a Challenger — bopping his head.”

Horry described being in the passenger’s seat as his ex-wife was driving, and the White Man Driving A Challenger in question doing a double-take when Gates dropped Horry’s name in a bar.

“My current wife hates this song. I love this song. ‘Don’t you open up that window,’” Horry added, singing Travis Scott’s “Antidote.” He continued, “My wife, every time, she [says], ‘Is there something you need to tell me?’”

Someone off-camera asked Horry if he’s gotten in trouble with his wife for the song. He confirmed he has not gotten in trouble, but he still might playfully confront Scott about it.

“I met Travis Scott once. He was a huge Rockets fan — still is to this day — and I met him. I almost wanted to say, ‘Man, why you put me in that song? And what you mean by three-peat three h*es the other week?’ It’s just fun, man,” Horry said.

Horry additionally recalled a game in New Orleans during his playing days when he “ran up to Lil Wayne and said, ‘Dude, I’m honored, man, that you even know who I am.” And while his wife might not necessarily be the biggest fan of hearing her husband’s name in racy rap lyrics, he said his kids “are more proud of it than I am.”

Scott’s 2015 seminal hit “Antidote” features Scott rap-singing in the first verse, “I just hit a three-peat / F*cked three h*es I met this week (Robert Horry).”

Last month, Scott previewed his highly anticipated forthcoming album Utopia for the Houston Astros, so at least if one of them is name-checked, he’ll have a heads up. There is no official release date for Utopia, but he’s been slowly testing out songs on the presumed tracklist, including one featuring Bad Bunny.

Travis Scott x Nike SB Dunk Low No Longer Restocking

Travis Scott is one of the biggest artists in the entire world. Overall, there are a lot of eyes on him right now. This is due to the fact that he has been teasing the release of his new album, UTOPIA. There have been various teasers for this album, and a lot of his supporters just want it to be released. However, there is nothing by way of a release date right now. Moreover, we don’t even have a lead single. One could argue that it would be “Escape Plan,” however, that song is a few years old at this point.

Mike Dean, The Weeknd, Lil Uzi Vert, and a plethora of others have teased the new release. Consequently, they have done a phenomenal job at building up anticipation. That said, fans are starting to get just a little bit antsy here. There are theories about the album coming out on June 23rd, although none of that has been substantiated. At this point, we just hope that we get some new information, sooner rather than later.

This Iconic Travis Scott Shoe Will Not Return

As for Travis Scott and his Nike SB Dunk Low collaboration from 2020, there have been all sorts of rumors around this shoe. Last week, we reported that this sneaker could even see a huge restock. The details surrounding this rumor were sparse, with @tuxedoamerica calling for a September release. However, the rumor has since been dispelled. According to @zsneakerheadz, these will not be making a comeback, anytime soon.

For a lot of sneakerheads, this is going to be some very disappointing news. However, there should be some new Travis Scott sneakers on the horizon. The last time Travis dropped a new album, he had shoes to go with them. Hopefully, that will continue to be the case with UTOPIA. Let us know what you think of this news, in the comments section down below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for more news from around the sneaker world.

Travis Scott Dropping “Utopia” Soon? Mike Dean Opens Infamous Album Briefcase

Could Travis Scott be dropping Utopia this month? Some seem to think that’s the case. The rapper’s producer, Mike Dean, has finally opened the mysterious Utopia briefcase. This has, of course, sparked much speculation among fans. Dean shared a photo on Instagram with the briefcase open, but the contents remained hidden from public view. He captioned the post with the question, “What’s in the case? #musicforthefuture.” Fans went wild with theories of release dates in the comments.

Fans eagerly speculated on the contents and predicted that the long-awaited Utopia would be released soon. Some commenters suggested that the album might drop at the end of the month, given Dean’s act of opening the case. The excitement surrounding Utopia has been building up for quite some time. Epic Records CEO Sylvia Rhone confirmed in an interview with Billboard earlier this year that Travis Scott’s fourth solo LP would be released in June. Whether or not that is set in stone remains to be seen. If it’s accurate, that means we will be getting the album in the next few weeks.

Travis Has Revealed Very Little About The Album

Travis Scott has taken a very interesting route when it comes to promoting the new album. The brown briefcase, emblazoned with the album title, made appearances at the Cannes Film Festival in May. The Weeknd was later seen with it at the premiere of The Idol in France. This led fans to speculate that The Weeknd might be featured on the album. While Travis Scott has been tight-lipped about the album, he discussed the sound and concept of Utopia in an interview with PIN-UP magazine. He revealed that he used an MPC, particularly favoring the 2000XL, to create most of the album’s distinctive and lively sound.

For Scott, Utopia is not just about living a perfect and extravagant life. It’s a state of mind that individuals can create for themselves. He emphasized that utopia can be achieved by anyone. Wealth and material possessions don’t matter, as long as the person finds contentment and fulfillment wherever they are. The album appears to be nearing completion, with mastering stages underway. In this stage, Mike Dean will likely play a significant role. Travis Scott recently even had a listening session of Utopia for the Houston Astros team before a game last month. This suggests that the album is in its final stages before release. Are you excited for Travis Scott’s new album? Sound off in the comments to let us know!

SZA Was Joined By Travis Scott In Amsterdam For An Electrifying Performance Of ‘Low’

SZA is in the midst of bringing her beloved new album SOS to excited crowds on her massive tour. She’s currently in Europe and coming back to North America this fall. Last night (June 1) in Amsterdam, she brought out a special guest.

For “Low,” the singer was joined by the one and only Travis Scott. The crowd went predictably crazy as the pair showed off their chemistry onstage. Check out videos below.

Travis isn’t the only one to show up during this tour. In March, Phoebe Bridgers made a surprise appearance at the Madison Square Garden show on the SOS Tour. About the collaboration for the song “Ghost In The Machine” Bridgers explained, “She just hit me up. She just sent me a DM, and then it all happened so fast,” said Bridgers. “I wasn’t really used to that in that pop world, because vinyl isn’t so much of a consideration until way later. It’s just like, ‘Do you want to be on this record? OK, it’s out next week.’ It was so recent, which I really like. I like that turnaround time. Personally, I sit on stuff for so long and it takes me years to make albums. I like seeing someone else’s world from that angle.”

SZA Taps Travis Scott To Perform “Love Galore” & “Low” In Amsterdam: Watch

It’s been a few months since SZA wrapped up the first leg of her SOS tour, taking her from Colombus, OH to Inglewood, CA over the course of a month. The record-breaking album marked an undeniably successful sophomore effort from the TDE songstress, who’s now on the road again, showing off her vocal talents across Europe. She kicked things off on Thursday (June 1) in Amsterdam, where patrons were happy to see a special guest join her on stage to perform some of their biggest hits.

Travis Scott took a brief hiatus from promoting his own upcoming UTOPIA project to sing with SZA last night. Not only did they bring out “Love Galore” from her debut album, Ctrl, but they also amped the crowd up with “Low” from her more recent release. From the looks of videos circulating on social media, fans went wild to see the frequent collaborators back in action. It remains unclear if the “Drew Barrymore” singer will be appearing on Scott’s next effort.

Travis Scott and SZA Get “Low” in Amsterdam

The father of two has been spending some time in Europe preparing for UTOPIA. As we reported last weekend, he was filming a music video at Nice Stadium, though we’re unsure which title the footage will accompany. Prior to that, he stepped out at Cannes Film Festival in support of The Weeknd, who’s also rumoured to be appearing on the highly anticipated follow-up to Astroworld.

SZA has one more show in Amsterdam scheduled for Saturday (June 3). Following that you can catch her in cities like Paris, Zürich, Berlin, Glasgow, and London. The latter city is where she’ll be headlining The O2 Arena two nights in a row before returning later in the month to give two more performances.

Do you know what collaboration has the potential to break all the records? Travis Scott and Bad Bunny. Two of the biggest stars walking the planet have teamed for a single, and La Flame teased the track while at a club in Monaco.

Travis Scott is continuing to get fans ready for Utopia. Over the weekend, Scott was spotted in France working on a new music video.

Scott recently appeared in PINUP Magazine, where he detailed the visions behind his album.

“Utopia is something that people feel is so far-fetched and out of reach, some perfect state of mind,” Travis Scott said. “But you create it yourself. There are people who achieve Utopia every day. They may not be the richest people with the dopest cribs, but it’s a utopia wherever they are, and that’s the most you can have.

“With every album I live in these worlds in my mind — I’m trying to show people experiences where utopian things can exist, and you can enjoy yourself and have a good time. They can create energy that spews out magical things — new cures, new buildings, new avenues for people to move forward. People need to see that Utopia is real.”

Travis Scott‘s Utopia album appears loaded and ready to go, but don’t expect leaks. Travis keeps the album secure to him, packed in a briefcase, and handcuffed to his security guard.

Travis was spotted in Hollywood on Thursday, hitting a vinyl store. TMZ noted the rapper was escorted by his security guard. In addition to ensuring Scott’s safety and opening his door, the guard had another job, making sure the Utopia album was safe.

Utopia serves as his newest release since 2018’s critically-acclaimed Astroworld, which features all-star appearances from Frank Ocean, Drake, Swae Lee, James Blake, Sheck Wes, Kid Cudi, Juice WRLD, The Weeknd, Pharrell, Gunna, Nav, Takeoff, 21 Savage, and more.

And if there’s one thing you can count on from Travis, it’s his support for his hometown of Houston. On Monday evening (May 15), the “Sicko Mode” recording artist visited Minute Maid Park to hang out with the Houston Astros baseball team guys, giving them a preview of the highly-anticipated new music.

In a clip that surfaced online, Travis states, “Man, fresh from Utopia. It’s on the way now. Had to come here and play Utopia for the boys in the locker room. Had to get it right for the game. You know how we do, from the clubhouse to the stu!”

Boasting 49 million followers on Instagram alone, Travis Scott played the unreleased music right before the Astros played the Chicago Cubs in their home stadium. Travis must have been good luck, as the Astros ended up beating the Cubs 6 to 4. Additionally, Scott got in some batting practice and even got to peep the weight room.

While rocking his Air Jordan 1 Low “Black Phantom” sneakers, Travis seemed very excited to preview Utopia. In fact, he’s been teasing these tracks for years, even releasing two songs titled “Mafia” and “Escape Plan” back in November 2021.

Last year, cryptic billboards of Utopia popped up all around Southern California. In August, Travis revealed returning to the studio to perfect the new project.

A New Travis Scott And Bad Bunny Song Could Appear On ‘Utopia’ Or So The Rapper Teased During His Recent Showcase

Last week, Travis Scott shared that he’s looking forward to his plans after he retired from music. In the meantime, the “Mafia” rapper is determined to share his highly anticipated album, Utopia, with fans.

The entertainer is making his rounds as he previews the project with those he considers tastemakers. During his recent showcase at Lilly’s Club, Scott teased a new song with Bad Bunny. Ironically enough, the international music star is rumored to be romantically linked to model Kendall Jenner. Kendall is the older sister of Scott’s ex-partner Kylie Jenner, with whom he shares two children.

In the video clip shared on social media, several notable celebrities, including Justin Bieber, Neymar, Mbappé, and Hamilton, dropped by to support the musician.

Although Scott hasn’t revealed the album’s official release date or tracklist, fans believe the unreleased track will appear on Utopia.
As for what the producer has shared regarding the project when speaking with Fox 26’s sports director Mark Berman, Scott said, “It’s on the way now, Mark.”

Later adding, “I had to come down and play Utopia for the [Houston Astros] boys in the locker room. I had to get them right for the game. Finished and mastered, Mark. You know how we do, Mark. from the clubhouse to the stu.”
