Up To 80% Of NFL Players Smoke Weed, According To Travis Kelce

Travis Kelce is a future first-ballot Hall of Famer. After playing as a hybrid QB/TE for the University of Cincinnati, he was taken in the third round of the 2013 draft by the Chiefs. From there, he has blossomed into one of the league’s greatest-ever tight ends. He became TE1 for the Chiefs in his sophomore year and currently holds a host of records at the position. Furthermore, he sits fourth all-time in receiving yards for a tight end as he enters his tenth NFL season.

But we’re not here to talk about Travis Kelce. Instead, we’re here to make talk about a bold claim he made in a recent interview. According to Kelce, between 50 and 80 percent of all NFL players smoke weed. Additionally, Kelce revealed just how players get away with such a prevalent practice.

Speaking with Vanity Fair, Kelce revealed how NFL players typically get away with smoking weed. “If you just stop in the middle of July, you’re fine. A lot of guys stop a week before and they still pass because everybody’s working out in the heat and sweating their tail off. Nobody’s really getting hit for it anymore.” In 2021, the NFL relaxed its stance on marijuana. Players were only tested in a two-week window before the season, as opposed to more rigorous testing schedules. Furthermore, the threshold for a positive test was raised from 35ng/ml to 150ng/ml.

While Kelce hasn’t been suspended during his time in the NFL for smoking the good kush, he was in college. He missed the entire 2009 season for violating the NCAA’s marijuana policy. Meanwhile, Kansas City legalized recreational weed this year. As a result, there are just six teams still located in states where weed is illegal under all circumstances. They are both Texas teams, the Falcons, Panthers, Packers, and Colts. However, if what Kelce says is true, it’s like that’s not stopping players lighting up.

MGK And Rick Ross Star At Travis Kelce Music Festival

The NFL Draft wasn’t the only thing going down in Kansas City on Friday night. The city also played host to the first-ever Kelce Jam, a music and food festival hosted by Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce. The festival featured food trucks, events, and live music. Kelce is a two-time NFL champion, coming off his second earlier this year. He was drafted in the third round of the 2013 Draft and has spent his whole career with Kansas City. He is currently considering the best tight end in the NFL and one of the greatest to ever play the position.

It had been a pretty wild couple of days for the Kelce Brothers. While Travis was drinking beers off the Super Bowl trophy, his brother Jason was chugging Buds with Eagles fans at the draft. It’s great to see the two brothers, who faced off in the Super Bowl this year, blowing off steam in the offseason. However, Travis had managed to secure some big-name talent for his festival. And arguably, they were bigger names than the NFL was able to get.

Kelce Lands MGK and Rick Ross

First up was Machine Gun Kelly. It’s been a rough couple of days for MGK, as fans speculate on another split from Megan Fox. This comes after Fox reportedly no-showed MGK’s birthday. However, MGK showed up and put out as he and Kelce belted out a rendition of The Beastie Boys’ “Fight For Your Right”. After Kelce lifted MGK off the ground in a bear hug, the two performed an encore of “Fight For Your Right”.

Then came Rick Ross. You might be thinking that Rick Ross also performed music but you be wrong. Instead, Rick Ross was there to adjudicate a wing-eating challenge. This relates to Ross owning a Wingstop franchise location. The contest pitted two Chiefs fans against each other. A man named Hayden Gillum was victorious after eating 19 wings in the 90-second time limit. Overall, Kelce’s festival provided a truly wild night for all in attendance. One could even make the argument that it successfully overshadowed the second and third rounds of the NFL Draft.

Travis Kelce’s Less Than Amazing First Pitch: Video

Travis Kelce is great at many things. The Kansas City tight end is proven he has the skills to host a podcast. He even has the skills to host SNL. However, the football phenom may have to retire his throwing arm. Kelce delivered the ceremonial first pitch for the Cleveland Guardians on Friday. The pitch was a less-than-ideal attempt at hitting the strike zone. Kelce will now join the likes of John Wall and 50 Cent on the list of worst first-pitch attempts.

The throw from Kelce made it to home plate. But it had to roll just to get there. Kelce isn’t going to live this one down for a few weeks. When his brother Jason gets to speak with him next, Travis will hope the video has been scrubbed from the internet. Of course, Kelce was a good sport about the event. The future Hall-of-Fame tight end has always shown to be a good sport. Unless you’re the mayor of Cincinnati. Then you better keep Kelce’s name and his team out of your mouth. Check out the video of Kelce’s pitch below.

Travis Kelce Should Stick To His Day Job

Kelce had hopes of bringing the heat, which looks like he did. But in the process, he almost took out Guardians pitcher Shane Bieber. Who I believe is in no relation to another popular Bieber. Kelce was showing off his Cleveland pride on Friday. The former Cincinnati Bearcat is from Cleveland. The city of Cleveland has many stars that have roots in the city. The most notable Cleveland athlete being LeBron James. Evidently, Kelce should ask LeBron for some notes before his next first pitch outing.

Travis Kelce will more than likely sit out a first pitch for a little while. If I were him, I would blame the throw on a cold shoulder. Most first-pitch volunteers don’t get a lot of time to warm up. The Chiefs organization may hope that was Kelce’s last throwing attempt for a while too. Because the team will want him to be at 100% within the next few months. Do you think you could make a better throw than Kelce? What are some other memorable first-pitch attempts? Sound off in the comment section. Machine Gun Kelly, Rick Ross, And Tech N9ne Will Headline Travis Kelce’s Inaugural Kelce Jam In Kansas City

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce is still high off of his team’s victory at this year’s Super Bowl. This will come full circle during NFL Draft Weekend later this month.

On Friday, April 28, Kelce will bring some of his favorite musical acts to his hometown for the inaugural Kelce Jam. Among the performers are Machine Gun Kelly, Rick Ross, Loud Luxury, and Kansas City legend Tech N9ne.

“The Super Bowl victory lap is not over yet,” said Kelce in a statement. “KC, just wait to see what I have in store for you all with my inaugural Kelce Jam – Draft Weekend’s biggest event ever featuring my homies Machine Gun Kelly, Rick Ross, Loud Luxury, and Tech N9ne, some of KC’s best eats, awesome brand activations, and unmatched championship energy. Get ready to fight for your right to party!”

In addition to a promising line-up of musical performers, Kelce Jam will showcase the best of Kansas City’s dining. Fans will be able to try the Kansas City staple, Joe’s BBQ, as they will be selling a special rib and sausage combo with a Cleveland mustard-inspired BBQ sauce, collectively dubbed the Kelce Combo.

Wingstop will also provide food, and invite two fans to participate in a chicken sandwich eating contest on stage, moderated by Kelce himself.

General admission tickets begin at $49.99 and TickPick VIP passes start at $224.99. Fans can register here for the pre-sale, which will begin Friday, April 7.

Travis Kelce Hilariously Tries To Name Every NFL Head Coach

Nobody is having a better 2023 than Travis Kelce. The Kansas City tight end has become a Super Bowl champion and host of a famous podcast. Not to mention he has even hosted SNL. The co-host of New Heights is Travis’ brother Jason. The two have become instant comedy and a great show tandem. The show is a lot of comedy, even though the brothers sprinkle in a little bit of seriousness. In the latest episode, Travis attempts to show off his NFL knowledge. Spoiler, it doesn’t go well.

Jason asks Travis to name every NFL head coach from the picture of the coaches taken at the owner meeting. Travis comes off as just naturally funny in the video. Almost as effortless as his play on the field. From the very beginning, spectators can tell that this is going to go poorly for Travis. Jason seems to be having a field day with Travis’s attempt at naming every head coach. He may not know them all, but at least he knew Andy Reid.

Travis Kelce Takes Fun Shot At Bengals

Maybe it wasn’t on purpose, but Travis Kelce forgot the name of one important head coach. When coming up to Bengals head coach Zac Taylor, Travis had no answer for who it was. Luckily brother Jason bailed him out. Still, it felt like a tiny shot at the Bengals, given their history. The Bengals and Chiefs have met in the playoffs in back-to-back seasons. With each team beating the other. Kind of strange Kelce would forget that name. Especially after the AFC Championship smack talk back in January.

Once again, the Kelce brothers deliver with their podcast. It seems as if one clip a week goes viral from the brother duo. New Heights is fun and extremely loose on how the show is run. It’s exactly what you would want on a podcast. New Episodes of the show are released every Wednesday and can be found anywhere you listen to podcasts. What are some of your favorite sports podcasts? Travis Kelce Weighs In On Whether Or Not He’s The GOAT Tight End

Travis Kelce is easily one of the best players in the entire NFL. Overall, he has helped the Kansas City Chiefs win two Super Bowl championships. Moreover, he is consistently the best tight end in the league. Of course, it helps when you are catching passes from none other than Patrick Mahomes. Either way, Kelce is a phenomenal talent who seemingly gets better every single year. His most recent Super Bowl was a huge triumph, and it has fans singing his praises. At this point, some are even calling him the tight-end GOAT.

When you think of the best tight ends ever, you have to think about Rob Gronkowski, Tony Gonzalez, Antonio Gates, and of course, Shannon Sharpe. In fact, Kelce still has a while to go before he is seen as the GOAT. However, that is not stopping Chiefs fans from declaring him as such. Luckily, TMZ was able to catch up with him recently. It was here that they asked him whether or not he sees himself as the GOAT. In true Kelce fashion, he remained humble about himself.

Travis Kelce Speaks

“Nah, there’s a lot of great tight ends out there,” Kelce said. “I can’t just say I’m the best.” If Kelce continues to play at his current pace, his GOAT case will be extremely solid. The Chiefs are favorites to win the Super Bowl every year, and if he gets two more titles, he will match Rob Gronkowski with four. Moreover, if he hits the 100-touchdown mark, then his GOAT case is set in stone. Either way, it is going to take a lot of hard work and dedication to eventually get there.

If you are a big fan of the Kansas City Chiefs, you know that Kelce is a piece that cannot be lost. Mahomes was able to get it done without Tyreek Hill, however, if Kelce goes, that dynasty is in serious trouble. That said, we hope Kelce is able to show people his greatness, yet again, throughout 2023 and beyond. Let us know where you have Kelce in the GOAT debate, down below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news from the NFL world.

Travis Kelce Channeled Texas Rap Group GS Boyz After Scoring His First Super Bowl Touchdown

Kansas City Chiefs’ tight end Travis Kelce seems to be having a great game so far. The Cleveland native celebrated his touchdown over the Philadelphia Eagles during Super Bowl LVII with a classic dance move provided by the GS Boyz. The Texas rap group is behind the popular “Stanky Legg” dance, which debuted back in 2008. The dance is based on a dance movement that originated in Dallas. To date, the trio’s hit has been certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

While the song only peaked at No.49 on Billboard Hot 100, it reached No.7 on the rap charts. The single was a major hit on BET’s 106 & Park, topping the video countdown in 2009. The track even received a remix by Trina.

Aside from the big game, fans couldn’t more excited to see the halftime performer, Rihanna. The Barbadian singer is expected to hit the stage tonight for a thrilling performance of a medley of her biggest hits. The “Work” hitmaker recently revealed that she changed the setlist nearly 39 times.

Fans are hoping that her upcoming performance could be her entryway back into music. While sitting down with Apple Music host Nadeska the new mother said that she’s feeling open to “exploring and creating things that are new.”

She continued, “I just wanna play. I wanna have fun. I want to have to have
fun with music.”

Travis Kelce Slams Cincinnati Mayor After Chiefs Win: “Shut Your Mouth”

Travis Kelce went after Cincinnati Mayor Aftab Pureval following the Kansas City Chiefs’ 23-20 win over the Bengals in the AFC Conference Championship. Pureval had taunted Patrick Mahomes in a viral tweet implying Joe Burrow is the star quarterback’s father.

“Know your role and shut your mouth, you jabroni,” Kelce said to the Mayor after the win.

“Joseph Lee Burrow.. who’s 3-0 against Mahomes has been asked by officials to take a paternity test.. to confirm whether or not he’s his father,” Pureval said in his video post.

He followed up with an apology tweet, further writing, “Bengals nation, LOL. I hear you. My competitive juices and love for Cincy got the best of me. My bad. Staying hungry and humble. See You Sunday. Who Dey Baby!”

Kelce also referenced the “Burrowhead Stadium” jokes that have been going viral over the last week. The name is referring to Joe Burrow’s previously perfect 3-0 record against the Chiefs.

“Burrowhead my ass!” Kelce exclaimed, before adding, “Wooooooo! It’s Mahomes’ house!”

Mahomes also addressed jokes about Burrow’s success in Arrowhead Stadium.

“This team, man, we played together,” Mahomes said after the win. “I said it from the beginning, when we were in the locker room, I said we got to be together. And this team stepped up against a great football team, and we showed this place, it’s Arrowhead, it’s not Burrowhead out here.”

Kelce, Mahomes, and the rest of the Chiefs will now take on the Eagles in Super Bowl LVII. Kickoff is set for February 12.
