NickMercs Goes Viral With Another Round Of Transphobic Comments

NickMercs is a Twitch streamer who made waves thanks to his work streaming Call Of Duty. Overall, he used to be one of the biggest streamers on the platform. Although he still has a pretty massive fanbase, there is no denying that he is not one of the top dogs anymore. Instead, the biggest gamer on the platform is Jynxzi, who is infamous for revitalizing the Rainbow Six Seige scene. That said, NickMercs still has the ability to go viral. However, the only time he does so is when he is saying something about the LGBTQ+ community.

Months ago, Mercs found himself at odds with the internet after making some disparaging comments about the LGBTQ+ community. Moreover, in the past few days, he has gone after those who have pronouns in their social media bios. It’s all very silly, especially when you consider how the streamer would likely flip out if you referred to him as the opposite gender. Regardless, NickMercs has gone viral yet again, this time thanks to his comments on trans people.

Meanwhile, others have been calling the streamer a “loser” who can’t stop putting his foot in his mouth. Sukihana Disses JT & Lil Uzi Vert On New Track “Cocaine” And Gets Accused Of Transphobia In The Process

Sukihana and JT have been going back and forth on social media as of late. Overall, it seems like Suki has some problems with JT, and it has led to some pretty wild allegations. For instance, Suki has been saying that JT is a cocaine addict. The former City Girls members subsequently said that they were no longer cool with one another. 2024 has been the year of rap beef, and it appears as though Sukihana has been inspired by the diss tracks from Kendrick Lamar and Drake.

On Wednesday morning, Sukihana dropped off a brand new track called “Cocaine.” The song is very clearly pointed at JT, and contains a plethora of disses. In fact, the song also takes a swipe at the relationship between JT and Lil Uzi Vert. However, some of the bars are already being called out for including blatant transphobia. “You ain’t lying when you say you look like a trans, your n***a only fuck wit you because you look like a man,” Sukihana raps.

In the comments over at The Neighborhood Talk, one fan noted that transphobia and homophobia isn’t going to cut it. “The pure trans and homo phobia isn’t gone slide just cause this is a ‘rAp BeEf,’” they wrote. Another fan was simply confused as to why Suki is beefing with JT in the first place. “Listen. Suki you doing too much why you starting all this shit with her?” they said. “Side note you may be better as a diss rapper than anything i can’t lie. But still like JT never did shit to you something’s wrong here.” Needless to say, this is a feud that no one expected, yet here we are.

Let us know what you think of this feud between Sukihana and JT, in the comments section down below. Do you believe that she went too far with these diss tracks? Is this going to spark a response from JT? What do you make of all the rap beef so far this year? Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the music world. J Cole Called Out For Transphobic Bars On “Might Delete Later” Track “Pi”

J Cole is easily one of the biggest artists in the entire rap game. Overall, he is someone who is constantly evolving, and dropping big projects. However, a few weeks ago, Kendrick Lamar came after him a bit. This was done on the song “Like That,” with Future and Metro Boomin. Fans have been waiting for Drake’s response, although it has yet to arrive. On Friday, Cole was the one to bite first, as he dropped off a 12-song album called Might Delete Later.

On this track, there is a very clear-cut diss at Kendrick on the final song, “7 Minute Drill.” That said, there are some other songs that people are dissecting right now. Not all of these dissections are positive, however. On the track “Pi” with Daylyt and Ab-Soul, Cole has some questionable bars that can be interpreted as casual transphobia. “Is you a demon or is that demeanor for the ‘Gram? Tell us/They plead the fifth, I’m seeing hints of a trans fella/In cancel culture’s vicinity, he’s no killer, trust me/Beneath his chosen identity, there is still a pussy, period,” Cole raps.

In the tweets below, you can see that many took exception to these lyrics. Numerous artists have had transphobic lyrics in the past, but when it comes to Cole, some figured he would be above that. That said, there is no telling what his true intentions were. Some of the interpretations will be charitable, and others won’t be. Only time will tell whether or not Cole is going to try and clear things up before things continue to spiral.

Some Aren’t Feeling The Bars

Let us know what you think of these bars from Cole, in the comments section down below. Do you think his album was solid? Do you believe Kendrick Lamar will eventually respond with some more bars? Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the music world. We will continue to keep you informed on all of your favorite artists and their upcoming projects.

MrBeast Calls Out Transphobia Aimed At Friend

If there are two things America seemingly hates, it’s trans people and MrBeast. 2023 alone has seen the introduction of 496 anti-LGBTQ bills into state and national legislatures. A vast majority of these bills explicitly target transgender individuals in a variety of ways. These bills range from removing protected category status to the forcible de-transition of minors receiving hormone therapy in that state.

As for MrBeast, the YouTuber is loved and loathed in equal measure. Despite his 145 million subscribers, his content is often the subject of public scrutiny. Sometimes it’s for questionable video subjects or tweets, such as building a real-life replica of the death game from Netflix’s satirical drama Squid Game or asking fans to neaten store displays of his candy bar, Feastables. Other times it’s for what people see as his engagement in “poverty porn”, the act of engaging in philanthropy to seek credit, status, or a monetary return. However, these two hot-button issues have now collided due to a recent video.

“All This Transphobia Is Starting To Piss Me Off”

SunnyV2 is a video essay YouTuber with 3.38 million subscribers. Their most popular videos include How Primitive Building Videos Are Staged and The Tragic Transformation of Nikocado Avocado. On April 13, they uploaded Why Chris Will Soon Be A Nightmare For MrBeast. The video focuses on Chris Tyson, a long-time friend of MrBeast, who has recently opened up about starting HRT and dressing in a more feminine manner. Sunny argues that Tyson, who uses any pronouns and does not explicitly identify as transgender at this time, will cause a fall in MrBeast’s popularity. The video was met with derision from some and support from others. Many called it out as openly transphobic and pointed to other instances of Sunny misgendering gender non-conforming individuals. However, it also received a wave of support from other sources, with people using it as an opportunity to push anti-trans rhetoric.

Eventually, MrBeast gave his take. Responding to a tweet that called the video “invasive”, Beast said, “Yeah, this is getting absurd. Chris isn’t my “nightmare” he’s my fucken friend and things are fine. All this transphobia is starting to piss me off.” This was hailed as a “MrBeast says trans rights” moment by many (even though some of that MrBeast money helping fight anti-trans legislation would be an even bigger trans rights moment). However, it was a clear indication that Sunny’s video had crossed a line for the typically hands-off MrBeast. He has publicly stood by his friend while also taking a stance on the rhetoric created by Sunny’s video.
