Andre 3000 Taking His New Album “New Blue Sun” On Tour

Last year, Andre 3000 shared his long-awaited solo debut. In the lead up to the album he promised that it would have “no bars” and he delivered on that promise. What resulted was an ambient jazz album called New Blue Sun that is entirely instrumental and features long compositions with Andre himself prominently playing flute across the album.

The project proved to be pretty controversial, dividing both fans and critics. Many praised Andre for stepping out of his comfort zone and trying such a bold sound. Others resented that they waited for years for a new album from the Outkast legend and it ended up having no rapping whatsoever.

Drake & J. Cole Tour 2024: Dates, Tickets & More

Just when you thought he was done, Drake announced that he’ll be going on tour in 2024 in support of his latest album, For All The Dogs, alongside J Cole. The 6 God revealed the dates on Monday morning for the It’s All A Blur – Big As The What? tour, which will include his “First Person Shooter” collaborator as support on the majority of the dates. This will undoubtedly be one of the biggest tours of 2024, especially given that both Drake and J Cole will share the stage together.

The announcement comes a little over a month after Drake completed the It’s All A Blur tour with 21 Savage in Toronto on Oct. 7th. That weekend, Drake also delivered his latest album, For All The Dogs. So, it seems like the upcoming shows will provide Drake a prime opportunity to test out bangers like “IDGAF” and “First Person Shooter,” especially as fans revisit For All The Dogs.

Interestingly enough, this tour will mark the first time that Drake and Cole have hit the road together since the 2012 Club Paradise tour. Earlier this year, the two rappers joined forces for a co-headlining set at Dreamville Festival, and Cole later joined Drake on stage in Montreal when 21 Savage wasn’t allowed over the Canadian border.

The 22-date run of shows, presented by Cash App and Visa and produced by Live Nation, will kick off with two gigs at Ball Arena in Denver, CO on Jan. 18 and 19. The tour will feature a number of back-to-back arena dates, doubling up in New Orleans, Nashville, and Columbus before winding down with a show at The Legacy Arena at BJCC in Birmingham, AL.

Flo Milli Announces “Thanks For Coming Here, Ho” Tour

Flo Milli has been dropping one great single after another all year. Now, she’s taking those great songs and even more that are coming soon on tour with the freshly announced “Thanks For Coming Here, Ho” tour. The 16-date North American tour takes off in mid-October and averages nearly a show a night as it runs into November. One of her frequent collaborators Maiya The Don will be coming along with her on the tour. Tickets for the shows will go on sale later this week starting Friday, September 8 with special Spotify presale for some fans.

Back in July, Flo Milli announced her new album Fine Ho, Stay. While she didn’t confirm which of her new singles from this year would be included on the album, it’s safe to say some of her series of bangers will make it onto the tracklist. She still hasn’t announced a release date for the project but the tour could give some hint at when it will arrive. With the tour just over a month from now, the album could be planned for release any week now. Check out the tour announcement below.

Flo Milli Taking Off On Tour Later This Year

Last month, Flo Milli was asked who some of her biggest influences are during an interview. She listed Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, Missy Elliott, and MC Lyte, all of whom she classified as “icons.” She cited the four as not only influencing her technical ability, but also her artistic flare.

Flo Milli has been on more than her fair share of great posse cuts this year. She teamed up with Sexyy Red and FendiDa Rapper for a “Ladies Remix” of the That Chick Angel song “One Margarita.” She also released her own group cut “Anything Flows” which featured 2rare, Maiya The Don, and Kari Faux. Noname Announces 19-Date US Tour Later This Year

Earlier this month, Noname released her long-awaited new album Sundial. After years of loose singles and a canceled album, she finally revealed the project last month. The album has features from Common, billy woods, $ilkmoney, and controversially, Jay Electronica. When the tracklist was announced many fans took issue with the inclusion of Jay Electronica due to his long-held antisemitic beliefs. Noname bit back at fans who criticized the choice with a series of tweets where she threatened to not release the album. Once fans heard the actual verse they were once again upset with Jay Elec’s inclusion on the project. Despite that, in a recent Instagram post, she claimed that she doesn’t regret including him on the album despite many fans’ disappointment.

Now, Noname is taking the album on tour later this year. In a new Instagram post, she shared the 19 tour dates she will be playing. The dates run for a month from October 15 until November 15. It’s the rapper’s first tour in 4 years since she hit the road to promote her previous album Room 25. Presale tickets for the tour will go on sale tomorrow, August 23 with full general sale taking place this Friday on the 25.

Noname Announces New Tour

After originally promising to release the song with Jay Electronica as a lead single, it was saved for the release of the album. “balloons” proved to be one of the most controversial songs of Noname’s career thus far and for very different reasons than usual. That came just a year after she formally canceled her “Factory Baby” project that she had previously announced.

Earlier this year Noname called on more black artists to gatekeep their art. “One of the biggest mistakes i believe we’ve made in our struggle towards liberation in this country is allowing white america unfiltered access to our entire culture,” she explained in an Instagram post. Do you plan on seeing Noname on tour later this year? Let us know in the comment section below.

Boosie Badazz Calls Out Yung Bleu For Kicking Artist Off His Tour Who Supported Him

Boosie Badazz now has another bone to pick with Yung Bleu. When artist TRell co-signed Boosie’s latest album, apparently Bleu kicked him off of his tour. “This n***a Bleu done kicked TRell off the tour ’cause he got posted on my IG for saying my album was the truth,” the Baton Rogue MC expressed in a video. “Clown! Wherever that tour go, I need y’all to send me addresses so I can send the shirts. If you in that city when that tour coming, I’m sending you 40, 50 shirts. That man ain’t got nothing to do with this. You gone kick the man off the tour. Send me y’all addresses so I can put these shirts everywhere for that tour.”

“DONK F**K UP THIS DUDE [TRell] MONEY,” Boosie shared in an Instagram post of them having a FaceTime call. “HE AINT GOT NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS S**T. ME N HIM HAD SONGS 6 YEARS AGO TOGETHER!! SEND ME YOUR ADDRESSES TO ANY OF THESE CITIES ON THE TOUR SO I CAN GET YALL THESE SHIRTS. ANYBODY SUPORTS THAT TOUR IS SMH I AINT EVEN KNOW HE WAS ON YOUR TOUR THATS THE COLD PART!! “Yung Bleu kicked me off tour cause Boosie posted me on IG,” TRell shared in an IG post of his own. “If you know me I ALWAYS show love to boosie he the Man who gave me a shot and put me on !! Bleu knew I was cool with boosie when he asked me on tour so to kick me off tour all cause boosie posted me is CR*ZY. I don’t play sides I’m NEUTRAL I done paid travel fees etc smh !! S**t wild I don’t got NOTHING to do with they issues and if you know I’m cool with boosie why even ask me on tour S**t Goofy af.”

Meanwhile, this follows Badazz’s feud with Empire Records for not paying him for a deal he signed with Bleu. It seems like that contributed to tensions between he two artists. Now that others are getting roped into it, all we can hope for is that things don’t get any worse. On that note, stick around on HNHH for the latest news and updates on Boosie Badazz and Yung Bleu.

Doja Cat Announces Tour With Ice Spice & Doechii

Doja Cat just kicked off a brand new era in her career when she dropped her new song “Attention” last week. Now she’s confirmed that later this year she’s going on a massive new tour. The 24-date tour kicks off on Halloween in San Francisco at the Chase Center. From then it hits two dozen stadiums across the country before concluding at United Center in Chicago on December 13th. Coming along for the ride are special guests Ice Spice and Doechii. While none of the trio have ever crossed over in song, they certainly seem to have a lot of fan crossover between them.

She announced the tour with an Instagram post earlier today. The caption is simple enough, reading “see you on the scarlet tour.” As usual, fans flooded to the comments to express their excitement and share which dates they’ll be attending. One of the top comments reads “IM GONNA CRY DOJCHII ON THE SAME STAGE,” combining Doja Cat and Doechii’s names. Elsewhere in the comments fans speculate that Doja Cat is likely to release an album sometime before the tour. Even the name of it, The Scarlet Tour left fans speculating on what her next album may be called.

Doja Cat Hits The Road With Ice Spice And Doechii

Just a few days ago Doja Cat tweeted out something that is always going to get attention online, her cat. She debuted the new pet, nicknamed “Frodo” to the world in a tweet that was viewed millions of times. Like most of the rapper’s online posts, it was deleted shortly after though it’s still possible to find the new kitty elsewhere online. In a recent Instagram live she debuted some spooky new red contact lenses that go perfectly with her new era.

While Doja Cat hasn’t confirmed what her new album will be called, at least not after cycling through the past few names, there is one word that has popped up again and again “Scarlet.” The word in combination with the blood droplet emoji have appeared in nearly all of her recent social media output. What do you think of Doja Cat’s new tour announcement? Let us know in the comment section below.

Gorillaz Cancel Their September U.S. Tour

Alternative rock group Gorillaz has been enjoying continued success since the release of their eighth studio album, Cracker Island. Unfortunately, they are canceling their upcoming September 2023 U.S. tour. Citing “scheduling conflicts,” the band, comprised of musician Damon Albarn and visual artist Jamie Hewlett, is no longer coming stateside. The tour was going to highlight Cracker Island at a few U.S. venues. They announced the concerts only a few weeks ago. Now, they’re pulling the plug.

Gorillaz is refunding their fans for the shows, which were going to feature plenty of collaborations. Some of the performers who were going to join included Lil Yachty, Kaytranada, and Remi Wolfe. Back in April, at Coachella, the band was on stage with Bad Bunny and De La Soul, among others. The U.S. venues included arenas in Los Angeles, Boston, Chicago, and Austin, TX. Sadly, they will play at zero of those venues for the time being.

Gorillaz World Tour and What’s Next

LOS ANGELES, CA – APRIL 19: Damon Albarn of Gorillaz is seen arriving at the ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ show is seen on April 19, 2023, in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by Hollywood To You/Star Max/GC Images)

Back in 2022, Gorillaz went on a massive World Tour where they debuted plenty of new material from what would end up being the tracklist of Cracker Island. For that tour, they traveled to South America, Europe, Australia, and North America. However, they ran into show cancelations on that tour as well. A scheduled performance in Queensland, Australia, was shut down due to torrential rain. In February of this year, they released a deluxe version of Cracker Island, adding five bonus tracks.

Unluckily, Gorillaz knows plenty about canceling promising projects. Earlier this year, the band paired up with Netflix to produce a movie Albarn and Hewlett had been conceptualizing for a long time. However, due to cutbacks in Netflix’s animation department, the streaming giant scrapped the film. A victim of streaming content saturation, Gorillaz shelved the movie indefinitely. Hopefully, the band can get back out there soon. Perhaps they’ll find another time to grace America with their unique sound in front of thousands of people.

Ty Dolla $ign Announces “more motion less emotion” Tour

Ty Dolla $ign is skipping a summer tour this year and instead taking off later in 2023. The rapper and singer just announced a massive 31-date tour. The tour starts on September 15th in San Diego with an opening show at Soma. From there is squeezes quite a few shows in a pretty short amount of time. The tour wraps up shortly over a month later with a San Francisco show on October 27th. Ty is bringing Symba and Leon Thomas with him throughout the tour as openers.

Ty Dolla $ign made the announcement with an Instagram post earlier today. The caption reads “More Motion Less Emotion tour coming to a city near you.” The post has already racked up over 10k likes and the comments are filled with fans picking out which of the shows they plan on attending. The tour is named after Ty’s newest single “Motion” an incredibly smooth new song he earlier this month. The song is set to serve as the lead single for a still unnamed new EP that’s expected to drop this summer.

Ty Dolla $ign’s Fall Tour

Last month several demos and alternative versions of Drake songs leaked, including one with a Ty Dolla $ign verse. The track “Jaded” from Drake’s album Scorpion was co-written by Ty and a new leaked version of the track features a full verse that he recorded for the song. Late last year following reports that he had been hospitalized for injuries that came from skating, Ty shared a video of the incident. The scary video sees the rapper falling backwards and the back of his head making impact with the ground.

Ty Dolla $ign has long been rap’s undisputed feature king and this year is no different. He’s appeared on new albums from Tink, Daniel Caesar, and Lil Pump already just six months into the year. He’s also appeared on a number of new singles, most notably Alesso’s song “Caught A Body.” Which of Ty’s upcoming tour dates do you plan on attending? Let us know in the comment section below.
