The remix of Joyner Lucas‘ platinum-selling hit “Isis” is now available and it includes four contestants who were chosen from a competition that was first launched in May by his startup Tully.

Joyner offered budding independent artists the option to remix his platinum-selling song, by downloading the “Isis” beat, recording a verse, and sharing it on the app. The remix of the Boston native’s breakthrough song is now available on all major digital service providers. He chose Tone Catra: @catra609, Lex Bratcher: @lexbratcher, Starringo: @iamstarringo, and Kvng Moses: @1kvngmoses.

The goal of Lucas and Dhruv Joshi’s 2015 co-founding of Tully was to use technology to streamline the production of music. The two collaborated to create tools that directly contributed to Joyner’s success as an independent musician, and they are now disseminating these tools to more musicians so that they can maintain complete control over their musical careers. Tully offers a 360-degree array of tools for artists to manage and advance their careers, including guided workflows, structured asset management, templated industry contracts, publishing, and licensing support.

Tully offers more than just music distribution; it also has administrative tools for saving contracts and split sheets, as well as songwriting programs for musicians to play, compose, and record music. Lucas, an independent artist himself, uses a smartphone app that offers all of these capabilities. Independent musicians will be able to obtain royalty-free beats through Tully, own digital copyrights to their works, and more. They will also be able to get 100% of their royalties.

Sony Music Entertainment announced a significant investment into Tully back in April 2020, at the height of the pandemic, and announced an increase of features for the end of that year.

Chris Brown Drops “BREEZYVERSE” NFT

Hip-hop artist Chris Brown appears to be the latest celeb hopping on the NFT bandwagon, dropping his own NFT collection this week in conjunction with the release of his latest album, Breezy.

The NFT collection, called “THE BREEZYVERSE,” consists of 10,000 3D animated NFTs with sound and visual effects implemented on the Ethereum blockchain. The public sale went live on Friday. An Instagram post on the NFT’s official channel @thebreezyverse announced: “PUBLIC SALE IS LIVE! Click the link in bio to get your own official @chrisbrownofficial NFT now! Our exclusive utilities are rolling out now and throughout the upcoming tour. The journey has just begun!” Brown also shared an animated clip showcasing some of the NFT’s artwork on his own Instagram page hyping up the release.

According to the NFT’s official website, the collection “creates an intimate connection to Chris’s creativity and artistic talents” and is designed to “bridge the gap between the artist and his fans around the world.”

Some perks (called “exclusive utilities) for NFT holders include VIP concert tickets, exclusive artist meet and greets, music video wardrobe access, video calls with Brown, and some of Brown’s original art on canvas.

Brown is one of many celebrities that has attempted to create their own NFT in recent months. NFT stands for non-fungible token and is defined as a digital asset that represents a real-world object such as art, music, animation, games, or other physical asset. NFTs are bought and sold online on a variety of dedicated NFT marketplaces.

The first-ever Black Effect Podcast Festival has been announced by iHeartMedia and Charlamagne Tha God to honor, elevate, and amplify Black voices in the podcast sector. The event will occur at the Avant Gardner, Brooklyn Mirage, on Sunday, August 28. Charlamagne Tha God will attend the festival with some of the most well-known figures from the Black Effect for a day packed with enlightening panel talks and live podcast tapings geared for budding podcasters in the Black community. Lil Duval, a comedian, and Nyla Symone, a DJ and personality for Power 105.1, will serve as the festival’s host.

The most popular Black Effect podcasts, including “The 85 South Show,” “All The Smoke,” “We Talk Back,” “Reasonably Shady,” “Black Tech Green Money,” “WHOREible Decisions,” and “The Trap Nerds Podcast,” will be recorded live as part of the festival. Kanye West is a man with endless ambitions. The hit producer, who morphed into a Grammy Award-winning artist, is already the dominating music and fashion industry, but Ye wants more. It’s reported that Kanye West filed 17 new trademarks all surrounding the Yeezus brand. Mr. West filed trademarks for amusement parks, NFTs, toys, campaign buttons, clothing, cosmetics, and household items.

The news of Kanye filing trademarks for most of these items comes to no surprise seeing that he’s steady taking on new business endeavors. What fans should be surprised about is the trade mark for NFTs. Kanye didn’t hold back when he expressed how he felt about the metaverse. Back in February, Mr. West wrote on Instagram, “Do not ask me to do a f*****g NFT. Ask me later,” Seemingly later is now because according to his new trademarks, Kanye has a future dealing with NFTs.

The gradient has been rebuilt in bright hues to make it feel more lighted and alive, as well as to signify moments of discovery. Instagram Sans, our new typeface, was created with our legacy in mind and contains numerous global scripts. Content-driven, the new layout and design system celebrates innovation, simplicity, and self-expression.

To make the gradient feel more lighted and alive, a unique 3D modeling approach was used. The entire color system is built around the Instagram gradient, which is made up of our brand colors. The gradient in Instagram’s marketing, logo, and even in-app, as seen in Create mode, stickers, and Instagram Story rings, communicates moments of discovery through lighting. We’re pleased to bring the vitality of the new gradient to the Instagram experience.

Today, SoundCloud and NBA 2K revealed the first 10 winning artists including 4KPHIL, J Nolan, Jamari, KC Carter, Lulu Be., Neek, OttoMattic, Samad Savage, Shiwan, and Third Coast Chris whose tracks will be featured in the NBA 2K22 Season 7 soundtrack heard by players around the world. Worldstar Hip Hop Releases New Sports Podcast ‘Kiss & The Myst’

Sports podcasts have become increasingly popular in recent months as more sports fans turn to them to get the latest information. The current trend has also led to more podcasts opening up, with Worldstar Hip Hop being the latest. Worldstar Hip Hop has recently announced the opening of their new sports podcast Kiss & The Myst.

According to Worldstar Hip Hop, the main reason they started the podcast was to create a community of sports fans where everyone will feel at home. There are various types of sports, and sometimes it can be really hard to find all the latest information in one place. With Kiss & The Myst podcast, which will air on Worldstar Hip Hop, their focus is shining light on all types of sports and discussing what’s trending in the sports world.

The show is hosted by sports analyst and handicapper Mystic Zach Hirsch alongside celebrated rapper and sports enthusiast Jadakiss. Having been in the industry for years, their diversity and experience make them a perfect team.
