Between May 29 and June 2 in 2024, headliners Lana Del Rey, Pulp, SZA, Disclosure, FKA Twigs, Justice, Mitski, The National, Phoenix, PJ Harvey, and Vampire Weekend will bring their biggest tracks to Spain. Fans are scrambling to secure their admission to the festival.
How to buy tickets for Primavera Sound Barcelona 2024
Those interested in purchasing a general admission or VIP package music sign up for the fan presale on the event’s official website here. After they enter their preferred contact information into the form, a list of instructions will be sent over to the provided email.
The fan presale registration started today and will run until tomorrow, November 22, at 11:59 p.m. CET (5:59 p.m. ET). Presale purchases begin on Thursday, November 23, at 11:00 a.m. CET (5 a.m. ET). However, the general on-sale begins Friday, November 24, at 11:00 a.m. CET (5 a.m. ET).

It’s time to star putting plans in place for next year’s festival season, because organizers are starting to reveal lineups: Today (November 21), the Primavera Sound Barcelona lineup for 2024 was unveiled.
The fest takes place from May 29 to June 2 and headlining this year’s lineup are Lana Del Rey, Pulp, SZA, Disclosure, FKA Twigs, Justice, Mitski, The National, Phoenix, PJ Harvey, and Vampire Weekend.

The R&B phenom recognized this at a recent event she was a part of a couple of days ago. Femme It Forward, according to their website, is a “Female-led music and entertainment company that centers its mission in celebrating, educating, and empowering women through multi-format, multi-market consumer experiences. The special occasion SZA was at is called, GiveHerFlowHERS Awards Gala. It “Celebrates and recognizes outstanding women who have made A significant impact in entertainment and mentorship.” She has certainly been a part of that moment and during it, she got on the podium and shouted her day ones.
The Grammy-nominated artist took a few moments to show her appreciation to her black female fanbase for believing in her. “I just wanted to thank black women, specifically. But, before anyone who had bought my albums or thought I was cute and I had anything on Billboard, black women came to my shows.” She continues, “They stood up for me from the jump, they connected with me and I’m so, so grateful to be black and amongst family.” Interestingly, some fans loved her speech while others thought it was a bit strange. One person goes, “If a white woman said this all hell would break loose ” Regardless of all the debate, it is great to see SZA continue to flourish and our continued support goes out to her!

On Friday morning, November 10, The Recording Academy announced the full nomination field for the 2024 Grammys, which will occur on February 4, 2024 at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles and broadcast live on CBS. The eligibility window was set for October 1, 2022 to September 15, 2023. So, while Dua Lipa’s freshly released single “Houdini” will have to wait, Lipa is still nominated for Song Of The Year and Best Song Written For Visual Media for “Dance The Night” from the Barbie movie. But two nominations is far from the most earned by a single artist. SZA has the most nominations for the 2024 Grammys with nine.
SZA shook the world when she dropped SOSon December 9, 2022. Her sophomore album spent 10 weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, but she shared that debuting on Billboard‘s Hot 100 Songwriters chart meant “so f*cking much to me.” SOS singles “Kill Bill” and “Snooze” peaked at Nos. 1 and 2, respectively, on the Billboard Hot 100.

The lineups for next year’s South American slate of Lollapalooza festivals have been announced. Lollapalooza Argentina, Brazil, and Chile will all take place next March with headliners including acts like Arcade Fire, Blink-182, Feid, Limp Bizkit, Paramore, Sam Smith, and SZA. While Uproxx has coverage on all three fests, here’s the rundown for Lollapalooza Argentina, which is scheduled for March 15-17 at Hippodromo de San Isidro in Buenos Aires.

Lollapalooza
2023 was a big year for the festival’s headliners. Blink-182 released a new album, One More Time — their first with the original lineup since 2015. They also announced their tour for the album, which coincides with Lollapalooza. SZA, meanwhile, concluded her SOS Tour just weeks ago and turned her attention to the deluxe edition of her wildly successful second album. Sam Smith also released a new album, receiving critical acclaim for their adventurous new direction.

Lollapalooza Brazil will return to São Paulo early next year. Over the course of three days, fans can look forward to performances from bands, artists, and DJs representing an eclectic group of genres.
This festival, along with Lollapalooza Chile and Lollapalooza Argentina, marks the first South American performances for Blink-182, SZA, and Hozier.
Earlier this year, Live Nation announced that Rock World would be the local production partner for Brazil, as part of a collaboration with C3 Presents.
“Deepening our footprint in Brazil will help us better serve artists and fans while bringing more once in a lifetime live experiences to a booming market,” said Rafael Lazarini, SVP and Head of Business Development for Latin America of Live Nation in a statement. “We’re seeing incredible demand from all parts of the world, especially Latin America.”

Tyler The Creator’s Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival returns to LA’s Dodger Stadium this weekend, November 11-12, headlined by The Hillbillies — comprised of Kendrick Lamar and his cousin Baby Keem — and SZA.
