Subsequently, Speed has been showing off this new house for everyone to see. Unfortunately, this has led to some negative consequences. Showing off your home as a streamer can be a huge no no. This can lead to swatting, which is when people call the police and say there is a hostage situation or an organized crime operation happening at a person’s address. The police then go in with weapons and a lot of the time, it happens while a streamer is live. Well, that is exactly what happened to IShowSpeed yesterday.

As you can see in the video above, Speed immediately recognized what was happening. He was a bit confused as to where he needed to be, but he eventually figured it all out. Moreover, in the clip, you can see some officers come into the frame. They have heavy weapons and it is all very scary. Thankfully, everyone was okay following the incident. The police just had to make sure that nothing bad was happening. Hopefully, Speed can get in a good word with the police department so that they know to be aware of these kinds of situations in the future.

Nicki Minaj recently took to social media, sharing a lengthy post detailing her swatting experience. The rap diva also shared what appears to be a photo of the person allegedly behind the swatting, alongside a phone call made to police about Nicki and her husband, Kenneth Petty. In the call, the person is heard telling authorities that a man is firing off shots while holding a child, and a woman is trying to get the man to put the child down. This presumably refers to Nicki, Petty, and their 2-year-old son.

The swatter also suggests that the man could be under the influence of drugs or alcohol, and that he might be trying to leave with the child. Nicki went off in her post, detailing the terrifying experience of having her home swatted. “2 times my home was surrounded by large guns. This person wanted a family with a 2 year old to be shot at. Yet, nothing on any blog,” she wrote. “This same person made a false claim to CPS.”

Nicki continued, seemingly suggesting that someone in the industry could be behind the whole thing. It wasn’t the first time the rap diva fell victim to a swatting call, and it’s clear that she was fed up. According to reports, authorities were able to speak with Nicki upon their arrival and clear things up fairly quickly, however, swatting is notorious for being dangerous, annoying, and a waste of resources.

With that being said, Nicki didn’t just let the incident roll off of her back. She revealed today that the alleged perpetrator is now facing legal consequences for her actions, going on to call her a “dumbo.” Fans were quick to call on Nicki to reveal the individual’s name, which she refused at first. She claimed that it would be leaked soon enough, however, she unveiled it herself soon after. “Stephanie Bell,” Nicki followed up in another Tweet. “A warrant is in the system. Great detective work. So grateful.”
