The two superstars on Apple Music, with Sexyy Red as her first guest, sparked controversy over their advice on “cheating in a relationship.” when a caller shared her story of betrayal, revealing her boyfriend of nine years had cheated twice — once in their apartment and once with her “best friend.” Despite the heartbreak, the caller admitted she was still holding out hope he could be husband material. Summer Walker didn’t mince words, making it clear she wasn’t one to turn to for advice, saying bluntly, “She doesn’t need to be asking us.”

Grammy-nominated R&B sensation Summer Walker has unveiled Over It Radio, a six-episode series airing exclusively on Apple Music’s global live-streaming platform. The show precedes her much-anticipated third studio album, Finally Over It, and follows her Billboard Hot 100 hit, “Heart of a Woman.”

On Over It Radio, Summer will explore themes like relationships, motherhood, friendship, and music—both her own and current favorites. The premiere episode, airing Friday, December 13 at 11 a.m. PT, features a candid conversation with collaborator and friend Sexyy Red. The duo will reflect on past projects, share relatable advice for fans, and reveal what they’re officially “over.”

“My vision for ‘Over It Radio’ is to create a safe space where I can own my own narrative and provide a platform for the women I admire in the entertainment industry to do the same. Summer Walker is a notorious recluse. However, the “Heart Of A Woman” singer found the perfect middle ground to discuss her new musical era. With her Finally Over It album in the tuck, Summer Walker is ready to mingle with fans.

Today (December 9), Summer Walker announced Over It Radio, a show exclusively available on Apple Music. The forthcoming six-episode series is slated to debut its first episode on this Friday, December 13. In the series’ promotional teaser (viewable here), Summer has a chat with each of her musical eras (Over It and Still Over It).

Although Summer is sure to provide Easter eggs about her upcoming studio album, the show isn’t just limited to her discography. Over It Radio will dive into other topics including relationships, motherhood, and friendship.

“My vision for ‘Over It Radio’ is to create a safe space where I can own my own narrative and provide a platform for the women I admire in the entertainment industry to do the same,” said Summer in a statement. “We discuss the topics that matter to them, without any hidden agendas. As October comes to a close, our latest R&B Season playlist update rounded up the best of the best genre-related cuts that dropped this week to give you some new jams for the spooky season. First off, Summer Walker made her return with her new single “Heart Of A Woman,” which contains an unsurprisingly soulful and soothing vocal performance. A relationship is on the rocks here lyrically, and the instrumental highlight here is a deliciously woozy synth line that falls really well in the background. But in the month of October, the Atlanta, Georgia product is focused with getting back on the solo tracks. This weekend, Summer Walker has delivered “Heart Of A Woman,” her second single from her upcoming third LP, Finally Over It, which all but signifies the conclusion to what will now be a trilogy.

This series has focused on the difficulties of getting over past flings. Given the title and the content of “Heart Of A Woman,” though, Summer appears to be done with the games. This single was teased on October 11 via “+1(404) 476-6404.” It’s a voicemail of a man that she’s still dealing with, and he’s confessing his love for her amid their issues. You can hear the chorus of “Heart Of A Woman” playing in the background and it seems like they will be placed next to each other on the final tracklist. On “HOAW”, Walker is looking to end the relationship. But she’s clinging on for some reason, despite her growing disdain for him.
