The annual musical event of the year took place over this past weekend and it brought out all the stars. We are talking about the 66th installment of the GRAMMY Awards. As all award shows do, they provide headlines galore for better or worse. Some of the biggest of the night, especially on the hip-hop side of things include Killer Mike. His evening went from triumphant to disastrous after he was arrested after nabbing three of the four categories for rap. Sukihana is also grabbing some attention but for all the wrong reasons.

Red carpet looks always bring out the most weird and stunning designs. Some want to look elegant and others want to make statements. Sukihana certainly made the latter with her peek-a-boo black leather dress. Her cropped top also featured some sharp spikes and it caught the eye of fans. Suki is a part of the new wave of “ratchet” female rappers that make extremely explicit tracks about sex, promiscuity, drugs, and violence.

Coi Leray was one of the many artists in Los Angeles last night for the Grammy Awards. Overall, it was a ceremony that a lot of people were paying attention to. Although the reviews were split in terms of the winners, and even the host Trevor Noah, there is no doubt the ratings will be solid. People want to see their favorite artists win awards, and that is something that is never going to change. Moreover, people want to see what their favorite artists are going to wear on the red carpet.

Leray certainly decided to be provocative with her outfit. Below, you can see that she wore some sort of suit jacket and one-piece hybrid. This is by no means a dress, and Leray definitely turned heads when the bottom half is glorified underwear. A lot of questions were asked about the outfit, and for the most part, people were not feeling it all. However, what made matters worse was her hyping of the outfit. During an interview with The Cutting Room Floor last month, Yasiin Bey FKA Mos Def shared his take on whether or not Drake makes hip-hop music. “Why are you doing this to me?” he jokingly responded, seemingly attempting to steer clear of any controversy. “Drake is pop to me. In the sense, like, if I was in Target in Houston, and I heard a Drake song. It feels like a lot of his music is compatible with… shopping. Or, as you know, shopping with an edge in certain instances.”

For obvious reasons, Drake and his fans were less than thrilled with his comments, and fired back with full force. Drizzy even went on to call Bey a “Bohemian Bucket,” or “crackhead,” after finding out about his short-lived marriage to a woman from Toronto.

Waka Flocka Weighs In On Yasiin Bey’s Fit

Social media users have been a bit more critical of Bey since he seemingly dissed Drake too, recently flaming him for a bold outfit he debuted on Instagram. The outfit in question consisted of a silver jacket, a plaid skirt, and a pair of shiny platform boots. For the most part, commenters weren’t really feeling the look, including Waka Flocka Flame. He recently reacted to the flashy fit in a clip on Instagram, making it clear that he’s not a fan.

Furthermore, we can’t really call whether she’ll win the Best Pop Dance Recording category; “Rush” by Troye Sivan is a big favorite. Nevertheless, that’s not our niche, so who are we to say? What we can guess is that Coi Leray actually has a slight chance to win Best Rap Performance, given just how unique each nomination in that field is. From footage below, you can see that Drizzy wore some sort of spine on his back, or maybe the back of a stegosaurus, or something else entirely that we’re just missing.

Furthermore, maybe you might’ve expected this to be a designer look, but there’s no info on any of that so far. Maybe Drake is shouting out Louis Vuitton’s latest foray into fashion: an Attack on Titan tribute that many fans referenced in the comments of the post below. Jokes aside, this is far from the first time his style got clowned online, but if nothing else, he does have pretty comfy and cozy drip.
