Drake’s Credit Card Declines During Stake Stream, Rapper Also Clowned For Yellow & Blue Nail Polish

It’s been an undeniably busy weekend in terms of celebrity events, with Rick Ross hosting his annual car and bike show on his Atlanta estate and Drake entertaining those at home with a Stake live stream. Not only did the Canadian and the gambling company team up to give away $1 million to a lucky user, but Drizzy also found himself getting meme’d – as per usual – at an incredibly rapid rate. Leading up to the event, he teased the possibility of giving Instagram mo del Corinna Kopf a foot massage on camera, but that fortunately never came to fruition.

At one point during the virtual party, the host was attempting to donate to a streamer on the website. With Lil Yachty watching over his shoulder, Drake typed in the CVV numbers, only for a message stating that the transaction was declined to appear on the screen. “Embarrassingggg,” the Certified Lover Boy trilled in an unusually high-pitched voice, though he doesn’t seem too worried about the awkward moment as he’s obviously got no shortage of money in the bank.

Aside from his card fiasco, Drake has additionally been going viral for taking a fashion risk in the form of yellow nail polish. Nine of his fingers were painted with a few coats of the cheery colour, and the tenth was a pretty shade of blue. As images of his hands continue to circulate online, many are bringing out old memes of a sassy-looking Champagne Papi, photoshopped to add lengthy, bad b*tch acrylics to his hands.

Elsewhere, others are bringing up lyrics from Her Loss, in which Drake went viral for asking “21, can you do something for me?” While not everyone is a fan, some are commending the father of one for being so secure in his sexuality, and perhaps even showing support during pride month in his own way.

Drake Drops Insane Cash On NBA Finals Bet

Drake has a massive contract with the crypto gambling site Stake. Overall, this is a company that has sponsored a lot of people, including creators who stream. They seem to have a whole lot of money, and they are not afraid to spend it. Although they may get criticism for being a gambling site, they are still going strong. Much of this has to do with Drizzy’s constant social media posts in which he shows off his massive sports bets. Although Drake has lost his fair share of bets, he has also won quite a few.

In the Instagram post down below, you can see that he bet on the NBA Finals. Here, we have two bets. Firstly, he opted to bet $250K on the Denver Nuggets beating the Miami Heat in five games. This would win him $850,000. Secondly, he bet $1 million on the Nuggets to win the series outright. This would only gain him $1.23 million as the odds are in the Nuggets’ favor. Overall, this is a series that the Denver Nuggets should win, especially with how they won Game 1.

Drake Predicts The NBA Finals

If you watched last night, you would have seen a Nuggets team that truly dominated from start to finish. While the Heat came on strong in the fourth quarter, it was too little too late. The Nuggets are just a powerhouse of a team, and consequently, very few people have the Heat coming back. The Nuggets are undefeated at home in these playoffs, and that likely will not change. It’s sad, but ultimately true.

In our prediction, which you can read below, we said that the Nuggets would win this series in 5. Drake must be a HotNewHipHop reader. All jokes aside, this series is not going to be close, although we wish it was. Let us know what you thought of Game 1, in the comments section below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for more news from the sports world.

Drake Takes A Double Dose Of Ls On His Sports Bets

Drake is one of the most prolific artists of our generation. Overall, he has given us a ton of amazing albums. Moreover, he is one of the biggest artists in the world. He is someone that has a ton of crossover appeal in the music world. Hip-hop heads love him. Pop fans love him. And the wine mom demographic loves him. Although some would say there is too much crossover appeal, others would attribute this to his greatness as an artist. Additionally, he has also made it as a sports ambassador.

Of course, we are talking about Drake and his role with the Toronto Raptors. We all know the man is a huge sports fan, and his Raptors get a whole lot of his attention. However, it should also be noted that the artist is a spokesperson for Stake, which is a crypto sports gambling website. Whenever Drake makes a bet, he shares it with his audience. Unfortunately, he has been taking a whole lot of Ls as of late, and that was certainly true with his latest parlay.

Drake Is Allergic To His Losses

In the video clip below, Drake addresses his fans, noting that he is distraught over his recent bets. Last night, he tried to get in on two parlays. In each one, he bet $75,000 with each parlay offering a payout of $800L and $568K respectively. However, he missed out on a couple of picks, which ultimately got him out of his cash. The artist even says that he felt a bit congested due to his L allergies. Unfortunately, allergy season appears to be in full swing for the artist. Only time will tell whether or not he can get back into the win column.

Sports gambling is one of those things that inspires a lot of confidence in sports fans. Most believe that they can hit on 100 percent of their parlays. However, if that were true, then payouts would be very minuscule. Needless to say, Drake may need to go back to the drawing board here. Let us know what you think of the artist’s bets, down below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for more updates from around the music world.

Drake Shushes The Haters (And Losers) In New Stake Promo

Drake is unsurprisingly one of Stake’s biggest advocates, and the gambling site is taking full advantage of that. Moreover, the Her Loss MC recently uploaded a funny and tongue-in-cheek promo video for Stake, which forms part of the series “Playing Stake In Quiet Places.” Furthermore, Drizzy sat in front of his laptop while near a calm and peaceful golf course, celebrating his wins in the sun. However, the comedy angle comes from him shushing those around him, including a friend whose muscles are making too much noise. It’s strange, low-budget, kind of corny, but still kind of funny to see him joke about him and his mother’s birthdays as he wins big.

Of course, Drake is well-known for his gambling tendencies, and for placing huge bets that either net him a lot of money or make his heavy pockets about $2 million lighter. For example, he lost about that amount when betting on Israel Adesanya in a previous UFC fight. However, he often sees much better days. Most recently, he won his bet on the Kansas City Chiefs winning the Super Bowl, although some of his specific bets regarding the game fell through.

Drake Posts Understated Ad For Stake On IG

On that note, the 6 God is quite the fan of mixed martial arts, and is one to pay respects to the sport’s legends. Furthermore, UFC fighter Jorge Masvidal recently announced retirement, much to the dismay of that community given his incredible career. Despite the relatively sad announcement, Masvidal expressed his gratitude for his position and for everything that the sport has given him over the years. When Drake heard the big news, he took to his Instagram Story to tip his hat. “Street legend. UFC goat. Hats off to a great man,” he wrote.

Meanwhile, Drake is making a lot of headlines these days for his new music, whether officially released or otherwise. His most recent tease came from his SOUND 42 radio show on SiriusXM, where he played a Lil Uzi Vert collab that originally surfaced back in 2021. With the way fans consume everything he does, if he bet on himself in the music game, he’d probably be twice as rich. Regardless, check back in with HNHH for the latest updates on Drake, whether for his bets or his career.

Drake Won His Super Bowl Bet On The Chiefs, But Lost In The Details

Drake won his bet on the Kansas City Chiefs winning Super Bowl LVII against the Philadelphia Eagles. In fact, it was a massive win, as his total payout estimated at $1.47 million. “My psychotic bets for Sunday are in @stake,” he wrote in an Instagram post displaying his predictions. “Pls do not analyze the logic behind these bets there is none.” Moreover, he made some specific bets on certain details of the game, all of which didn’t pan out perfectly. However, it’s still a big cash day for the 6 God, and a monumental night for Kansas City.

Firstly, Drizzy’s million-dollar payout for the Chiefs victory meant that, overall, he’s a winner first and foremost. Still, looking at his other predictions, curious fans can tally up just how much he earned. For example, he bet $50,000 on Patrick Mahomes being KC’s first touchdown scorer. However, that went to tight end Travis Kelce, so that’s one win, one loss. What’s more is that he also bet (and lost) that JuJu Smith-Schuster would be the Chiefs’ first touchdown scorer, albeit with different odds. Also, unfortunately for the Canadian star’s guess, the Kansas City team did not win both halves, as the Eagles led 24 to 14 at halftime. As such, he lost his bet on his winning team beating Philly in each quarter.

Furthermore, Drake had two final bets: Travis Kelce earning the NFL MVP trophy and a tight end winning the accolade. To his dismay (a very slight one with $1.47 million in his pocket), KC quarterback Patrick Mahomes won the title. All in all, the “Privileged Rappers” MC won the big bet, but lost in the details. Considering his individual stakes for each bet, he lost an approximate $265,000. Of course, when you look at the bigger picture, that means the OVO kingpin won about $1.2 million instead of $1.4. Poor guy, am I right?

Meanwhile, Drake recently appeared in a funny Barstool Sports interview with his son Adonis. While they ironically didn’t talk sports, the cheeky video saw them talk about their father-son dynamic in a comical way. Maybe Adonis will grow up to be a big better (and occasional winner) like his dad. Regardless of how much you won or lost your bet on the Chiefs tonight, come back to HNHH for the latest on Drake and the sports world.

Drake Shares His “Psychotic” Super Bowl Bets

Drake is among those who are hoping to cash out this weekend following the Super Bowl. As it is every year, sports commentators and fans alike offer their predictions for who will win the big game. This year, the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles will face off at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. It’s undoubtedly going to be an exciting game and it seems like there’s an influx of individuals who are hoping to win big on Sunday night.

As sports betting reached a new high with Stake, Drake became the spokesperson for the online casino. Though it’s unclear what type of deal he has with the company, Drizzy’s frequently reveals his bets for a variety of sports. Last year, he lost out on $1M during the World Cup. The Canadian artist bet on Argentina to defeat France, which they did. However, a technicality surrounding overtime led Drake to lose out on seven figures. However, his luck appears to have been better in recent times.

Drake Banks On Kansas City Chiefs

Though some might argue that the Drake curse still lingers in the world of sports, the “Rich Flex” rapper clearly has no problems revealing which teams he supports. On Thursday afternoon, Drake revealed his bets for the Super Bowl which amount to over a million dollars. The rapper has $700K on the Kansas City Chiefs winning the game – including overtime – while banking on Patrick Mahomes to score the first touchdown. After winning a mill off of Chiefs during their game against the Bengals, Drake evidently has the utmost faith in Kansas City.

“My psychotic bets for Sunday are in @stake,” he captioned the post. “Pls do not analyze the logic behind these bets because there is none,” he added. If all of his predictions are right, then Drake is certainly getting to the bag. Surprisingly, Drake didn’t reveal whether he bet on Rihanna’s setlist for the halftime show. However, it wouldn’t be shocking if she ends up performing “Work” at some point. Drake appearing on stage with her to perform the song, however, seems highly unlikely. Check out Drake’s predictions above and sound off with your thoughts in the comments.

Drake Wins $2.1 Million Bet After Kansas City Chiefs Advance To Super Bowl

The 6 God is no stranger to sports bets, and he continues to go big and (sometimes) win big. Drake just won a bet on the Kansas City Chiefs’ victory in the AFC Championship game against the Cincinnati Bengals. Moreover, he won a $2.1 million cash-out after the Chiefs won 23-20, advancing them to Super Bowl LVII on February 12.

Furthermore, the Canadian artist bet over $1.1 million on the Kansas City team via his gambling sportsbook partner Stake. Also, he posted his betting slip on his Instagram story before the two Sunday (January 29) championship games. “@Stake let’s make today the day,” he captioned.

Unfortunately, Drake lost an $850,000 bet on the San Francisco 49ers beating the Philadelphia Eagles in the other championship game. Earlier in the day, the Eagles beat the 49ers 31-7. With odds of 1.87, the “Middle of the Ocean” MC could’ve won up to $1.9 million.

Still, he reposted a tweet from Stake on his Instagram story congratulating his “light work” victory concerning the Chiefs. Meanwhile, maybe Drake will jump ship from Missouri to Pennsylvania for the big game. Also, fans are wondering whether he’ll be in Glendale, Arizona that night to perform with frequent collaborator Rihanna.

However, these aren’t Drizzy’s only big wins with the Chiefs. Previously in October, the 36-year-old put a parlay together with the Buffalo Bills, the Dallas Cowboys, and the Chiefs to win $2 million. Overall, the artist’s gambling skills (or luck) on Stake are well-documented outside of football betting. Back in July, he won $24 million in online roulette as French Montana watched.

“You know what that deserves? A ‘haaan!,’” Drake screamed while livestreaming to celebrating the win. “And I got my special guest in the building, take a seat. Ladies and gentlemen, I’m here with my brother, my twin, my lookalike Montega.”

Since joining Stake in December of 2021, the OVO boss has wagered over $1 billion so far. Unsurprisingly, his account name is “DeepPockets6.”

Still, what did you think of Drake’s successful bet on the Chiefs moving to the Super Bowl netting him $2.1 million? Whatever the case, let us know in the comments down below. Also, as always, log back into HNHH for the latest on Drake, the Super Bowl, and one of the biggest nights of the year.

Drake Calls SZA’s ‘SOS’ “Incredible,” Says “Her Loss” Took 4 Months To Create

SZA’s sophomore effort continues to be the talk of the town and even Drake can’t help but praise the record. After years of fans pleading in her comment sections, SZA dropped off SOS. It was a labor of love that took some time for the world to receive, and now that it’s here, the Top Dawg Entertainment artist’s growth is audible. Her fusion of several genres is done in a way only SZA can deliver. As SOS sits comfortably at No. 1 on the charts, a clip from Drake’s recent interview commanded attention.

Drizzy has been making moves—and money—with Stake, the crypto casino and sports betting platform. In an interview with Stake, Drake called SZA’s SOS “incredible” amid chatter that he was supposed to make an appearance on the record.

SZA recently said in an interview that she reached out to several of her peers, but sadly, they didn’t respond to her requests. She added she wasn’t upset about it because she’d done the same to many of them in the past.

Elsewhere in Drake’s discussion with Stake, he spoke about the length of time it takes for him to create an album. Apparently, his joint project with 21 Savage, Her Loss, took four months to complete.

“Yeah, that was quick. It’s quick. Like, I’ve obviously had albums that take a year,” said Drake. “I’ve had albums that take two years. And then, I have an album, If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late. I think we made that in like, six weeks. Eight weeks. What a Time to Be Alive, another album that we made fast.”

It has been a busy year for Aubrey Graham as he’s released not one but two projects. His surprise Honestly, Nevermind album received mixed reviews from fans as Drake tapped into dance and house music. Nevertheless, it was yet another chart-topping hit for the OVO icon.

Drake Could Win $2Million If These NFL Teams Win In Week 4

Drake is known for putting his money where his mouth is. After becoming an ambassador for crypto betting site Stake, the Canadian rapper has shared many of the wins and losses her experienced while gambling. With more wins than L’s, Drake shows no signs of slowing down his pricey wagering. On Thursday, Stake shared that one of their customers could potentially have huge payday if three risky bets pay off.

The Certified Lover Boy is the customer in question, slated to take home $2.2 million if the Miami Dolphins to beat last season’s Super Bowl runners-up, the Cincinnati Bengals during the league’s week 4 games. He also has the Baltimore Ravens beating Super Bowl favorites, the Buffalo Bills. Lastly, the Certified Lover Boy picked the Dallas Cowboys to beat the Washington Commanders.

While the odds aren’t in Drake’s favor at all, he is estimated to win over $2.248 million if he all three bets pay off. The chart topping rapper reposted Stake’s Instagram image that read, “A huge one coming from @champagnepapi For the NFL this weekend [exploding head emoji].”

In the last three months, Drizzy has wagered close to $1Billion in bets, according to reports. His go to stakes include the NFL, NBA and international sports like the UFC and Formula 1. No word on how much money the star has raked in altogether. However, back in May, he revealed that he cashed in more than $2.6 million on a parlay bet involving two Stanley Cup Game 7 matchups and an NBA Game 7.

When announcing his partnership with the betting company, Drake stated, “I am going to be announcing a date for an upcoming live event where I play to win some real money and give it all to you because what’s better than sharing the love with my people [money emoji] stay tuned for details.”

LeBron James and Drake surprise Toronto Family with $100,000

LeBron James Drake

LeBron James and Drake are two of the most blessed celebrities in their respective industry- and recently they teamed up to share their blessings with one deserving family in a big way.

Drake shared a video on Instagram in which he invited a Toronto-area teen named Michael, who plays basketball for the Royal Crown Academic School in Toronto as well as his mom and his coach to dinner at Toronto’s Harbour 60 restaurant, the same place where his 2011 “Headlines” video was filmed.

He starts out by plugging Stake, James’ crypto gambling platform, as well as Lobos tequila. The clip shows a cutaway video of Drake winning big while playing roulette on Stake, then saying that he believes in transferring similar blessings to others.

Drake then tells Michael, his mom, and his coach how proud he is of their hard work before giving Michael and his mom $100,000 cash as well as giving both Michael and his coach new shoes.

In addition to the gift for Michael and his family, Drake also made a donation to James’ I Promise School.
