The Memphis rapper started off the year with a bang due to her single “Yeah Glo!” Its messages of self-affirmation are something that everyone can get down with. It has also proven to be quite the workout track. LeBron James was bumping it loud and proud during one of his famous and rigorous training sessions. The King is known for supporting rappers across the genre, regardless of how bad he is at remembering lyrics. Glo eventually caught wind of the Lakers superstar messing with the song and they would wind up meeting in person. LeBron and his support for GloRilla and “Yeah Glo!” was a topic brought up in conversation with Shannon Sharpe.

She was the most recent guest on his hit podcast Club Shay Shay and a clip from it is gaining some attention. GloRilla is also hip to the fact that James has a foggy memory when it comes lyrics, and she made quite a funny joke about it. “LeBron knew the words. In fact, that is part of the reason why LaVar Ball feels that LaMelo and Zo keep piling up injuries.

The proud father of three recently sat down with CBS columnist Bill Reiter just days following the announcement from ESPN and the Hornets that LaMelo was done for the rest of the season. According to the Score, LaVar was not shy in calling out the “rooty-toot workouts” that the training staff puts together, as well as the “raggedy shoes” both of his sons wear. Mr. Ball explained that people feel he works his boys too hard when they train and that is why they keep accruing injuries. But he pushed back on that vehemently.

LaVar Ball Is Always Going To Protect LaMelo & Lonzo

“If you keep running them hills, you’re going to keep that power and that strength. But you start dealing with these rubber bands and doing this lightweight stuff, of course you’re going to start breaking down.” Later on, he also put some blame on the PUMA shoes that LaMelo sports every game. “A lot of things have to do with them raggedy shoes that Melo be wearing. Them shoes are not made the right way for him. That’s why he keeps tweaking his ankle every single time,” LaVar said. LaMelo Ball only played 58 games over the past two seasons, whereas Lonzo has not touched the NBA hardwood for about two years.

This is a 30-year age difference, and most people believe that Tyson will get absolutely decimated by the younger man. Fans don’t really want to see that, but in turns out Tyson is working hard, regardless.

In a new interview on Fox News, with Sean Hannity, Tyson spoke about the steps he is taking for this fight. Essentially, he is working out every day and around the lock. Firstly, he starts his day out with some rowing exercises. From there, he goes to his boxing gym in the afternoon for sparring. Subsequently, strength and conditioning or what he ends up finishing the day with. Needless to say, the former heavyweight champion of the world is no slouch.

Lil Durk One-Ups Ice Cube’s Offer For Caitlin Clark With $10 Million Deal Of His Own

Lil Durk offered Iowa basketball star Caitlin Clark $10 million to play ball with his team following her 41-point performance against LSU in the Elite Eight on Monday night. The proposition comes after Ice Cube made a similar offer for Clark to join the BIG3 league in addition to the WNBA. Responding to Complex’s coverage of Cube’s offer, Durk wrote on Twitter: “I got 10 million come play with my 3.”

As for Cube’s offer, he explained why he wants Clark in the BIG3 on Instagram. “We intended the offer to remain private while Caitlin Clark plays for the championship. But I won’t deny what’s now already out there: BIG3 made a historic offer to Caitlin Clark,” he began.“Why wouldn’t we? Caitlin is a generational athlete who can achieve tremendous success in the BIG3. The skeptics laughed when we made Nancy Lieberman the first female coach of a men’s pro team, and she won the championship in her first year. “Then Lisa Leslie won it all in year two. With our offer, Caitlin Clark can make history and break down even more barriers for women athletes.”

When asked about the situation, Clark said her focus is on her current team while speaking to the media ahead of the Sweet Sixteen. “To be honest, I found out about the BIG3 thing at the exact time you all did, and my main focus is on just playing basketball,” she said at the time. “I honestly don’t talk about those things with really anybody. Drake Offers A Subtle Response After LeBron James Was Seen Rapping Along To Kendrick Lamar’s Diss About Him

LeBron James had a big game the other night, when his Los Angeles Lakers bested the Brooklyn Nets 116-104. He wound up with 40 points on 13-of-17 shooting from the field, including nine three-pointers (which ties a career high). Metro Boomin couldn’t help but notice that James’ big night came after the NBA star was spotted rapping along to Kendrick Lamar’s verse on “Like That,” a highlight from Metro and Future’s new album We Don’t Trust You.

That verse, of course, made waves when it first dropped for apparent disses against J. Cole and Drake. Drake caught wind of LeBron’s moment with the song and had a subtle reaction: He liked an Instagram post sharing the video.

This comes after Drake used Instagram to offer up with some took as other reactions to the song. In one post, he wrote, “They rather go to war with me than admit they are their own worst enemy [crying laughing emoji].” He said in another, “I could never sell ya’ll out to sell my latest work. Never do you bad out the blue but I’m down to make it worse.”

So, at this point, unless he’s saving it for a diss track or something, it looks like these subtle shots may be all we get from Drake in terms of a “Like That” response.

Schoolboy Q Took Five Years Off From Music Because He Made So Much Money From Golf — But There Was A Downside, Too

It should come as no secret by now that Schoolboy Q loves golf. He’s talked before about how the sport helped him learn about himself as a person and he even partnered with 2K Games for the rollout for PGA Tour 2K21, appearing in the game’s launch trailer and performing at the game’s launch party in Los Angeles.

However, rap fans may not appreciate his love for the game as much when they learn it was one of the main reasons for the five-year gap between his last two albums, 2019’s Crash Talk and the newly released Blue Lips. Appearing on Lil Yachty’s podcast A Safe Space, Q recalled how he got into golf via a bet, but ended up making so much from his secondary career, it basically funded his hiatus from rap. “I don’t kick it in the studio no more,” he said after joking that his “studio budget is silly.”

“I was able to relax for five years,” he said. “I made a lot of money off rap, but golf helped me a lot.”

It should be no secret either that music is… not the most lucrative career. For every multi-millionaire, there are dozens of artists grinding to make ends meet — and for every one of them, there are even more whose dreams never make it past local stages in dive bars [raises hand]. So for Q, having some level of celebrity — and the perseverance to polish his game to serious levels — golf turned out to be a blessing for the South Central rapper because of endorsement deals.

Unfortunately, there was also a dark side: He says he fell back from endorsements and appearances because of racialized disrespect he experienced, such as being asked to wear grills to appear “more Black.”

Angel Reese is easily one of the most notable players in the NCAA right now. Overall, she is a fantastic player who saw lots of success with LSU last season. In the end, she helped defeat Caitlin Clark and Iowa in the championship game. However, in 2024, her season has been much more difficult. The media has been on her case, and some fans have been especially cruel towards her. On Monday, she played a rematch against Caitlin Clark and Iowa, however, this time around, it was the Hawkeyes who were victorious.

It was a massive game for Clark as she was able to score 41 points in the win. As for Reese, she has 17 points and 20 rebounds. Unfortunately, the defense just wasn’t there as Clark hit three after three. Following the game, Angel Reese spoke to the media about the loss and what is next for her. As you can see below, she was visibly upset following the game. Reese has gone through hell, and as she explained, people have sent her death threats. Not to mention, they have also been sexualizing her.

“I just try to stay strong,” Reese said. “I’ve been attacked so many times. Death threats, I’ve been sexualized, I’ve been threatened… All this has happened since I won the national championship & I haven’t been happy since then.” Now, Reese has 48 hours to decide whether or not she will declare for the WNBA draft. If she does, she will likely be a lottery pick. However, it seems clear that Caitlin Clark is going to be going number one.
