LaVar Ball Deducts “Raggedy Shoes” & “Rooty-Toot Workouts” Are Why LaMelo & Lonzo Continue To Sustain Injuries

LaVar Ball is never afraid to give his unfiltered opinions on anything or anyone. Ever since his sons, LaMelo, Lonzo and LiAngelo were all over hoop mixtapes, the Big Ball Brand founder became a star in his own right. His personality is definitely not everyone’s cup of tea, but you have to respect how he has set up his sons for success. That is especially true for LaMelo and Lonzo, as both are valuable assets for their respective NBA franchises. However, they have not always been available due to recurring and long-lasting health complications. In fact, that is part of the reason why LaVar Ball feels that LaMelo and Zo keep piling up injuries.

The proud father of three recently sat down with CBS columnist Bill Reiter just days following the announcement from ESPN and the Hornets that LaMelo was done for the rest of the season. According to the Score, LaVar was not shy in calling out the “rooty-toot workouts” that the training staff puts together, as well as the “raggedy shoes” both of his sons wear. Mr. Ball explained that people feel he works his boys too hard when they train and that is why they keep accruing injuries. But he pushed back on that vehemently.

LaVar Ball Is Always Going To Protect LaMelo & Lonzo

“If you keep running them hills, you’re going to keep that power and that strength. But you start dealing with these rubber bands and doing this lightweight stuff, of course you’re going to start breaking down.” Later on, he also put some blame on the PUMA shoes that LaMelo sports every game. “A lot of things have to do with them raggedy shoes that Melo be wearing. Them shoes are not made the right way for him. That’s why he keeps tweaking his ankle every single time,” LaVar said. LaMelo Ball only played 58 games over the past two seasons, whereas Lonzo has not touched the NBA hardwood for about two years.

What are your thoughts on LaVar Ball blaming “raggedy shoes” and “rooty-toot workouts” for LaMelo and Lonzo’s injuries? Do you agree that training needs to be more rigorous in the NBA? Or is he just trying to deflect blame, why or why not? Will LaMelo and Lonzo go on to still be successful NBA players when they both return? Social Media Roasts LaVar Ball’s New Shoes

LaVar Ball has never been afraid to be bold. Everyone remembers when he burst onto the scene circa. 2017, claiming he could beat MJ in a 1-on-1 and that Lonzo Ball was better than Steph Curry. His brand only grew when his son LiAngelo, the only Ball child not in the NBA, was detained in China. LaVar turned his viral fame into the Big Baller Brand. Of course, despite getting some big-name endorsements, such as Quavo, the company has never been able to escape controversy. The business has long been hit with an ‘F’ rating from the Better Business Bureau due to poor shipping commitments and subpar customer service.

But we’re not here to talk about BBB. Instead, we’re here to talk about LaVar Ball’s new, terrible shoes. Ball showed off the new kicks on Instagram. Like Yeezys or Balenciagas, they appear to be a single piece of material that is almost molded around the wear’s foot. Ball’s are Black and feature a large vent-like design on the top. They are pretty ugly, and very submarine-esque in shape and design. “Triple Bs, you know how our flavors is,” Ball said while promoting the shoes. Well, if the flavor is bad, then sure.

Ball’s Latest Shoe Doesn’t Cut The Mustard

Safe to say, social media aren’t feeling the new product. “Man get them ugly ass bread toasters off my TL,” one person summarized. “These look like the A/C vent in your car 😭,” added another. “Those them Noah’s Ark 12s with that length,” joked a third. “They look like yeezys with gout,” noted another. The Yeeyz comparison proved to be a common theme in the comments section.

However, not everyone was down to hate. “Everybody got something bad to say when it’s a black man products‼ but buy this other bullshit that looks the exact same 🤷🏽‍♂️,” argued one defender. Despite this, the Ball’s supporters were few and far and between as people were eager to dunk on the objectively bad shoes. “Walking round with black beans on ya feet😂,” teased one verified user. Lavar Ball Has Some Advice For Bronny James Jr.

Bronny James Jr.’s every movement is being dissected second by second. The eldest son of LeBron James has a lot of important decisions to make in the coming months. The high school senior will decide where to take his talents on the hardwood. As colleges will be lining up to have just a moment with James Jr., Lavar Ball has other advice. Ball, who has seen all three of his children play in the NBA in some capacity, gave James Jr. some interesting advice on his future.

The Ball father did an interview recently with Sporting News Australia, where he mentioned James Jr. should seek options outside of college. Ball advised that Bronny should look at the NBL as a real option for his future. Comparatively, the National Basketball League is where Lavar’s son LaMelo decided to take his talents before the NBA. It’s not terrible advice for someone whose spotlight will be much larger than the average college athlete.

Lavar Ball’s Suggestion To Bronny James Jr.

James would be allowed to solely focus on basketball if he chose the NBL. As Ball stated in his interview, “You wanna play basketball, and you really that dude, why am I sitting in class trying to pass a chemistry test?” Ball has a point with that statement. Most Top 50 recruits aren’t going to college to further their education. The dream is to make it to the league, and college is more focused on a plethora of opportunities. It’s no secret that Bronny’s NIL worth is one of the largest for a future college prospect. The options are limitless for the 18-year-old.

The decision may seem simple from the outside looking in. However, Bronny James has a difficult road ahead of him. Yes, the money sounds nice, but the pressure will be enough to break most. James has the opportunity of a lifetime in front of him no matter what he chooses. Except, only one decision will be the perfect choice for him and his family. So, which decision will be the right decision? Let us know your thoughts on what James should do with his future in the comments section below. For more news on Bronny James, stay glued to HNHH.

LaVar Ball Rips Lakers While Speaking On LaMelo’s Future

LaVar Ball is easily one of the most famous fathers in the entire world. A few years ago, Ball gained prominence thanks to the way he was promoting his oldest son, Lonzo. At the time, the Lakers were pathetic and they were going to get a high draft pick. As a California native, LaVar was able to advocate for his son to go to the Lakers and that is exactly what happened.

During this era, LaVar made all sorts of wild claims about his son’s talent. Overall, Lonzo was not able to live up to the hype, however, he is a very solid NBA point guard. Of course, Lonzo was traded from the Lakers to the Pelicans in exchange for Anthony Davis, back in 2019.

LaVar Ball Vs. The Lakers

Subsequently, LaVar has held onto his Lakers grudge all of these years. In a recent interview with Complex, Ball was asked if he would ever let LaMelo go to the Lakers. As you can imagine, Ball wants nothing to do with that franchise, moving forward.

Common sense would tell you, hell no,” LaVar said. “You did something to my boy Lonzo, and you think I’m going to come back with the others? I gotta be stone-cold crazy. You get rid of ‘Zo and you think I’m going to come back? I’m not that type of foolish guy.”

Throughout the interview, Ball made sure to reiterate that he hopes his sons will all join forces at some point in their careers. For instance, if their contracts all end at the same time, LaVar expects them to go to the same team. Of course, this all rides on LiAngelo making the NBA.

Let us know what you think of LaVar’s remarks, in the comments down below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from the sports world.
