Hulk Hogan’s Daughter Reveals Secret Marriage To Hockey Player

Brooke Hogan, the daughter of Hulk Hogan, has revealed that she has been secretly married to hockey player Steven Olesky for over a year. The two wed in a private ceremony last June and held a reception with Olesky’s family in Michigan earlier in December. Olesky played four seasons in the NHL and last played in the EHCL during the 2021/22 season. The pair reportedly met through mutual friends.

Brooke runs an interior design firm in Nashville and released a single, “Don’t Know It Yet”, earlier this year. TMZ released an exclusive report on the marriage, including a sweet shot from the couple’s wedding day. Congratulations to Brooke and Steven.

Hulk Hogan Marries Sky Daily

However, it’s not the only marriage to come out of the Hogan family this year. The Hulkster himself married his partner, Sky Daily, two months after the pair announced their engagement. The pair wed in front of a small gathering of family at the Indian Rocks Baptist Church in Clearwater this past Friday. Daily looked radiant in a sleeveless, strapless dress courtesy of Rue de Seine. Meanwhile, Hogan was dressed to the nines in a sharp tuxedo, though he did add an iconic bandana to the mix.

It’s Hogan’s third marriage and Daily’s second. However, Daily has been very candid about just how special Hogan makes her feel. “I wasn’t allowed to watch a lot of TV growing up. I knew who Hulk Hogan was obviously, but I hadn’t seen any of his fights or watched any wrestling. But I think he liked the fact that he had to ask me for my number as opposed to everyone else just jamming their number into his hand. He knew I was interested in Terry, not Hulk. He swept me off my feet and he is my ultimate male. I’ve never been with someone who puts me first in every single thing. When I wake up in the morning he’s there ready to hand me my coffee,” Daily told the Daily Mail back in July.

Russell Wilson Benching Due To Contract Dispute, Broncos QB Confirms

Russell Wilson has confirmed speculation that the Broncos benched him because he refused to make significant adjustments to his contract. “They definitely told me I was going to be benched and all that. That whole bye week I didn’t know what was going to be the case. I was going to be ready to play, I wanted to go to Buffalo and beat Buffalo. I wasn’t going to remove the injury guarantee, this game is such a physical game, I’ve played 12 years and all that. And I want to be able to play, I want to be able to help this team win. Every time I step on the field it’s a physical game. I never play timid; I never play scared,” Wilson confirmed to reporters Friday.

Specifically, as Wilson alluded to, the Broncos had wanted the veteran QB to defer an injury guarantee to 2025. Under the current language of Wilson’s contract, he would receive $37M in guaranteed money if he wasn’t able to pass a physical in March 2024. Meanwhile, head coach Sean Payton, who cited the desire to trigger an “offensive spark” when benching Wilson, denied any knowledge of the contract dispute. “I’m not privy to any of those [discussions], I’m handling the football. I know how this has been written, but this decision is strictly what I believe gives us a chance to win No. 8. Hard decision [but there] will be no other reasons,” Payton said.

Ex-NFL GM Calls Russell Wilson Trade “Worst Of All Time”

Elsewhere, former NFL GM Michael Lombardi has labeled Wilson’s trade to the Broncos the “worst of all time”. “When you add the contract and the trade, it’s the worst of all time,” Lombardi told TMZ this week. The Broncos gave up multiple first-round picks, multiple second-round picks, and three players to acquire Wilson. Furthermore, the team then gave Wilson a $245M contract extension.

However, Wilson was not the player that the Broncos thought they were trading for. Wilson struggled massively in 2022 and while he has improved in 2023, he has not turned the Broncos into a playoff contender. The team finished 5-12 in 2022 and while they have improved to 7-8 with two games remaining, their playoff chances sit at just 8% entering Week 17. In all likelihood, the Broncos will be missing the playoffs for the eighth consecutive year.

The Lakers Should Get LeBron James This Player For Christmas, Kendrick Perkins Claims

Kendrick Perkins has declared that the perfect Christmas gift for LeBron James from the Lakers would be trading for Zach LaVine. “They need that third superstar. They need someone who can play at the perimeter, someone who can score 20 consistently.” In short, Perkins wanted the Lakers to trade for someone who could help take the pressure off LeBron, who turns 39 at the end of the week. LaVine is currently out with a foot injury that sidelined him in early December. However, he is expected back in early January. Before he went down, he was averaging 21 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 3.4 assists a game. That would make LaVine the third-highest scorer on the Lakers and the team’s 20-point scorer after LeBron and Anthony Davis. Whether they make this move remains to be seen.

Meanwhile, LeBron James was also tweeting about his younger son, Bryce. After Bleacher Report posted highlights of Bryce in a big win for Sierra Canyon game, LeBron reposted it. “Yessir!! He just working and striving for greatness! 🤴🏾,” LeBron added as a caption.

Michigan Wants To “Change The Narrative” Over Past CFP Failings

After going 0-2 in College Football Playoff games over the last two years, Michigan is looking to change its fortunes this season. “I felt like last year I got caught up in the noise and all the emotions of it. I’m just trying to stay simple, trying to focus on dominating meetings, dominating practice. I’ve just been focusing this entire offseason to make sure I’m locked in on all the little details and that doesn’t happen again,” starting quarterback J.J. McCarthy said.

After falling to Georgia in 2021 and TCU in 2022, Michigan returned to the CFP as undefeated Big 10 champions. They were one of the nation’s best teams wire-to-wire, culminating in a Big 10 title game shutout win over Iowa. However, of course, it’s a season mired in controversy. Head coach Jim Harbaugh was suspended multiple times due to recruiting infractions and a sign-stealing investigation. But now Michigan can put all that behind them as they face Alabama on New Year’s Day. The winner will face Washington or Texas in the National Championship.

Florida State Considering Raising Banner If Undefeated Season Continues

Meanwhile, Florida State could further defy the institution of college football if they end their season undefeated. Players have admitted to serious discussions about raising a national championship banner if they end the season as the only undefeated Power 5 champion. “It’s only right. Nothing else needs to be said if we’re the only undefeated team,” linebacker Kalen DeLoach told ESPN. There are just two other undefeated Power 5 champions, with Michigan and Washington both playing in the College Football Playoff.

However, the team also stressed that they were strictly focused on their upcoming Orange Bowl matchup with Georgia. “The Orange Bowl is an awesome bowl, one of the best in the country, and we have a great opportunity in front of us playing Georgia. It’s still a big game for us, and we’re taking it serious. We’re focused on the guys we have here to help us win the game,” quarterback Brock Glenn said.

Bradley Beal Set To Return To Suns Lineup

Bradley Beal will return tonight from an ankle sprain that has him ruled out for the past two weeks. The news was first reported by Shams Charania. The game against the Hornets will only be Beal’s sixth of the season after he started his tenure in Phoenix with a lingering back injury. With high hopes of a Big Three powering the team to a championship, things have not panned out for the Suns. They are 15-15 and currently hold the 10th seed in the West. Furthermore, the “Big Three” has just played a single game together this season.

Beal made his Suns debut back in November. The Suns were in Chicago to face the Bulls looking to return to .500 after a rough start to the season. Beal played 24 minutes, putting up 13 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists. However, Beal was completely absent for the necessary overtime period, as the team firmly stuck to their minutes plan for the veteran. “I can be hard-headed and go play 30 minutes when I know I’m not supposed to. But how will I feel after that? Probably not the greatest. So that’s why I lean on our staff and our doctors to be the voice for me. Because I’ll be hard-headed and go out there and play,” Beal said, respecting the decision to keep him benched.

Ja Morant Trolls Pelicans With New Orleans Dance

Meanwhile, a fierce debate has emerged over whether Ja Morant pulled a “gun celebration” during a recent game against the Pelicans. However, Morant and his fans have defended his actions. Morant was not doing a gun celebration during the Grizzlies recent win over the Pelicans, they claim. Instead, they have said that Morant was doing the “Rock Ya Hips”, a regional dance move from New Orleans. Morant himself even copped to this on social media. The win lifted the Grizzlies to 4-0 since Morant rejoined the team last week.

The choice to do a New Orleans-based dance stems from Morant’s long-standing beef with the Pelicans. Morant takes every chance he can to take to troll the team after they passed on him to take Zion Williamson. Thanks to Williamson’s struggle with injury, Morant has been the better player since they were drafted.

David Njoku Celebrates Playoff Berth By Doing Shots With Fans

David Njoku celebrated the Browns’ second playoff berth in two years by doing shots with fans in the stadium parking lot. Njoku had a team-leading 134 yards but caught none of Joe Flacco’s three touchdowns. Videos posted online saw Njoku knocking back shots with fans in the frigid Cleveland night. “You don’t know how many of these moments you’re going to get. I’m going to remember this for the rest of my life,” Flacco said of the win.

Of course, Njoku’s season is amazing given the injury he suffered earlier in the season. Njoku recently gave more details about the September bonfire accident that left him with burns on “17% of his body”. Njoku said he likes to have bonfires in his backyard to relax on a Friday night. However, after running out of his usual lighter fluid, he tried a new spray to keep the fire going. However, the spray lingered in the air, leading to a back blast that caught Njoku by surprise. Despite the injuries, Njoku played through “intense pain” just two days later in a “personal” game against the Ravens. Njoku has a career-high 882 yards and 6 touchdowns on the year.

David Njoku Teammate Out Of Hospital Following Head Injury

Meanwhile, Njoku’s teammate Elijah Moore has been discharged from hospital after being seen convulsing on the ground following a hard hit to the head during Thursday Night Football. Head coach Kevin Stefanski said Friday that Moore was recovering at home and was in concussion protocol. “He’s doing better. Those [hits] are always scary,” Stefanski said.

Moore recorded 61 yards and a touchdown in the Browns playoff-clinching win before going down. The game served as a major revenge game for Joe Flacco, who dominated the team that passed on him in favor of Zach Wilson. Flacco threw for 309 yards and three touchdowns as the Browns cruised into the playoffs. After no playoff appearances between 2003 and 2019, the Browns have now made the playoffs in two of the last four seasons.

Elijah Moore Out Of Hospital After “TNF” Head Injury

Russell Wilson Trade Branded “Worst Of All Time”

Meanwhile, experts have started to declare the Broncos’ decision to trade for Russell Wilson “the worst of all time”. The moniker comes after Wilson was benched and reportedly expects to be cut in the offseason. “When you add the contract and the trade, it’s the worst of all time,” former Browns GM Micheal Lombardi told TMZ. The Broncos gave up multiple first-round picks, multiple second-round picks, and three players to acquire Wilson. The Broncos then gave Wilson a $245M contract. It will cost the Broncos upwards of $85M to cut Wilson in the offseason, if that’s the direction that they take.

But Wilson was not the player that the Broncos thought they were trading for. Wilson struggled massively in 2022 and while he has improved in 2023, he has not turned the Broncos into a playoff contender. While there are front-office financial issues, the Broncos have claimed benching Wilson was purely a football decision. “I understand all the speculation and everything that surrounds a move like that. I can tell you — look, we’re desperately trying to win. Sure, in our game today there are economics and all those other things. But the No. 1 push behind this — and it’s a decision I’m making — is to get a spark offensively,” head coach Sean Payton said.

Nikola Jokic Ties Obscure Wilt Chamberlain Record

Nikola Jokic has tied Wilt Chamberlain’s record for the most “perfect” triple-double – a triple-double with perfect shooting. Jokic’s 26/14/10 night with 11-for-11 shooting helped the Nuggets halt the four-game run of the Memphis Grizzlies. The Grizzlies had appeared unstoppable since the return of Ja Morant. However, the performance marked Jokic’s third such triple-double, tying the long-standing mark set by Chamberlain. The only other player in NBA history to record multiple “perfect” triple-doubles is Draymond Green with two.

However, Jokic was humble when speaking about the game. “It’s a miss and make game. Of course, sometimes you miss, sometimes you make. Today I made all of my shots. It’s not going to be a lot of those nights,” Jokic said. However, Jokic sat out the last 1:31 of the third quarter and the entire fourth quarter after achieving the stats needed for the triple-double. Furthermore, head coach Mike Malone echoed Jokic’s comments. “[Jokic] was 11-for-11 tonight. He doesn’t care about that. If Jamal has got it going, he’s clapping for Jamal. He takes more joy in his teammates’ success [than his own], and that’s the true definition of being selfless. And he lives it every day,” Malone said.

Dwight Howard Claims His Prime Was Better Than Nikola Jokic

While Jokic consistently finds himself in rare company, there are those who don’t see him as a true GOAT. “So, people look at that and say, “Well, Jokić, he scores and does all this stuff.” And no offense, I think he’s great. I love Jokić, I don’t want people to think that I’m trying to hate even comparing, but I’m going to take myself. I know how dominant I was and I know what I could do with my skills. And on the defensive end and on the offensive end I was quick enough to get past everybody,” Dwight Howard told Complex in July.

Furthermore, he continued to expound on how he compared to Jokic. “So, I didn’t necessarily have to use skill moves and stuff like that all the time to score. I use my speed a lot, I use power to finesse or sometimes speed to finish with power. I just had an array of different things but people just remember seeing me dunk the ball on people’s head. And I love Jokić and I’m happy for him. I think he’s one of the best centers that ever played the game on basketball. [But] I’m Dwight Howard. I know what I’ve done in this league.” At the time of writing, Howard has 19485 points (55th) and 10476 rebounds (10th). Jokic has 12897 points (227th) and 6669 rebounds (137th).

Bronny James Uninspiring In Pac-12 Debut, LeBron Praises Bryce

Bronny James managed five points and three rebounds in his minutes-limited Pac-12 debut. A second-half rally made the final score look closer than it was, but Oregon thoroughly earned the win to open conference play. The Ducks nearly doubled up on the Trojans in the first half, holding USC to just 25 points before the break. Furthermore, no Trojan managed to reach 15 points as they fell to.500 with a 6-6 record.

Meanwhile, LeBron James was more focused on his younger son, Bryce. After Bleacher Report posted highlights of Bryce in a big win for Sierra Canyon game, LeBron reposted it. “Yessir!! He just working and striving for greatness! 🤴🏾,” the Lakers veteran added to the repost. As for Bronny, he remains in the Pacific Northwest. USC have another road game, this time against Oregon State, before their Pac-12 home opener. The 8-4 Beavers also lost their Pac-12 opener, falling to UCLA. The Trojans open at home on January 3 against California. It is unknown when the minutes restriction on Bronny will be lifted.

Kendrick Perkins Suggests Zach LaVine As A Playing Partner For LeBron James

Meanwhile, Kendrick Perkins declared that the perfect Christmas gift for LeBron James from the Lakers would be trading for Zach LaVine. “They need that third superstar. They need someone who can play at the perimeter, someone who can score 20 consistently.” In short, Perkins wanted the Lakers to trade for someone who could help take the pressure off LeBron, who turns 39 on Saturday. Injuries and offensive struggles have meant that LeBron has a high workload beyond his years.
