Cardi B Voices Support For Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce In Super Bowl

Cardi B revealed that she was rooting for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce ahead of the Super Bowl on Sunday. She discussed the couple in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter ahead of kickoff. She also spoke about her excitement for Usher’s Halftime Show performance and hinted at wanting to take the stage sometime in the future.

“I think it’s cute,” Cardi said of Swift dating Travis Kelce as well as the media coverage around their relationship. “She looks so happy. I feel like she’s really private with her relationships, so I really feel like she likes him a lot because she’s like, ‘I don’t give a f—. I’m going to kiss him. I’m going to touch him. I’m going to kiss him! Yeah, I’m here. Yeah, I’m taking a jet to see my man.’” The Chiefs ended up beating the 49ers 25-22 in overtime.

As for Usher’s set, Cardi said: “I’m not going to say [it’s way overdue] because everything is always on great timing. He came right on time and I’m so excited. He has come back stronger than ever and boom. My choreographer has worked with Usher before and he said that he is very strict [and] takes his routine seriously, and that’s why I feel like his shows are so amazing.” She also added that she’d be interested in performing at the Super Bowl in the future. Elsewhere in the interview, Cardi discussed the current state of hip-hop, sharing a positive outlook on the direction the genre is heading.

Taylor Swift was in Las Vegas last night for the Super Bowl. Overall, it was a huge celebration for the Chiefs and her boyfriend, Travis Kelce. Kelce had himself a huge second half that helped the Chiefs keep the game tied. Subsequently, the match ended up in overtime and the Chiefs scored a touchdown to win the whole thing. Although some felt like the game was boring, it was clear that the finish was truly incredible. In many ways, it was one of the most memorable Super Bowls in recent memory.

However, some people are now worried about Taylor Swift and her safety. This is all because of an altercation that took place between Travis Kelce and his head coach, Andy Reid. In the clip below, you can see Kelce getting into it with Reid. Kelce began screaming in his coach’s face and even bumped into him. Overall, Kelce was upset that he wasn’t on the field during Pacheco’s fumble in the first quarter. Eventually, cooler heads prevailed and Kelce played well the rest of the way.

Jim Nantz and Tony Romo are two of the best in the business when it comes to football broadcasting, which is why they were tasked with calling Super Bowl LVIII for CBS this weekend. So, all due respect to them and everybody else involved in the CBS broadcast, but Nickelodeon’s Super Bowl coverage was so clearly the most fun way to watch the big game.

Need proof? Take a look at the celebrities who were in attendance on the Nick broadcast. Offering some shots of CGI fish characters made to look like famous folks, Nick showed off aquatic music stars like Billie Eelish, Doja Catfish, and Herring Styles in the Bikini Bottom stands, along with other celebs like LePrawn James, Clamuel L. Jackson, and Fin Diesel.

Nick had a ton of fun beyond that, too. “Sweet Victory” finally made its first appearance at the big game. On top of that, SpongeBob SquarePants and Patrick Star were on hand to provide in-game commentary, alongside Noah Eagle and Nate Burleson. At one point during the game, the camera cut to Leonardi DiCaprio in attendance, and Tom Kenny (voicing SpongeBob as he has since 1999) had a great quip: “Leonardo DiCaprio, 25. That was about his dating history,” a perfect reference to this classic SpongeBob scene.

Shannon Sharpe Rips Mike Epps To Shreds For Spreading Rumor That Shannon Might Be Gay

Shannon Sharpe caught some strays recently from the likes of Mike Epps. Epps was at a comedy show where he brought up Shannon and his infamous Club Shay Shay podcast. Overall, Epps seems upset about the things that have been said about him on the show. None of these words have come from Sharpe himself, however, that did not stop Epps from talking poorly about the NFL legend. Epps even accused Sharpe of being gay.

“That n***a Shannon Sharpe called me trying to do an interview. I said ‘no Medea, I ain’t doing no interview with you’ – so you can sit across from me and look at my balls,” Epps said. “The n***a sh*t is called Shay Shay the n*gga is telling you. Put a wig on that motherf*cker and tell me if that ain’t motherf*cking Madea sister.” Of course, Shannon saw these comments and was not happy about them, at all. During last night’s episode of Nightcap, he went off on Epps. He even threatened to release DMs. Needless to say, he had time.

But I won’t let you lie on my name,” Sharpe said. “Say my name again, and I’m gonna release the DM. Because you’re lying. You said I reached out to you to come on Club Shay Shay, and you’re a mofo lie. Now when I see you, I’m gon’ see if you’re about that. I’m gon’ see if you want to say what you been saying, trying to get some jokes because you got mad because Katt Williams did what he did.”

Well, last night, the Swifties were in Kelce’s corner as he played against the San Francisco 49ers in the Super Bowl. Despite being down 10 points in the first half, the Chiefs won 25-22, in overtime.

Overall, this was a game that had a lot of ups and downs. However, the overtime was spectacular. Moreover, Kelce came through with over 90 yards after not doing much in the first half. He played a phenomenal game and Swift was there to watch him. After the game, the two headed out to the club and as you can imagine, videos of this hit the internet. Everyone has their personal reasons for tuning into the Super Bowl LVIII. Of course, the avid football fanatics are locked in to see which franchise takes home the Vince Lombardi trophy. Music lovers couldn’t care less about the game. Most are dialed in for Usher’s highly anticipated Halftime Show performance.

But before that, a few notable musicians warmed the Las Vegas crowd up for its pre-game festivities. Post Malone dropped in for a gentle rendition of “America The Beautiful.” As a proud musical rockstar, Malone shed his rigid persona to bring forth the delicate essence of the hymn.

Of course, Malone added his creative touches to the traditional record, but he met the mark with his acoustic guitar in tow. Viewers at home took to X (formerly Twitter) to offer their glowing reviews of Malone’s performance.

“Ngl, that was actually better than I expected! A solid 7/10,” wrote one viewer.

“Wow, that’s awesome,” penned another.

Before his set, Malone shared that he was fighting back nerves. “I’m very nervous,” he said. “But excited, I’m excited. It’s just fun and super epic to be able to go out there and sing a song so many beautiful artists have sang before on this stage.”

Here Is The Super Bowl LVIII Edition Of SpongeBob’s ‘Sweet Victory’ Featuring The Chiefs And 49ers

With Super Bowl LVIII being broadcast by CBS, there will also be a Nickelodeon simulcast as they’ve done for a few regular season and postseason games each year.

The broadcast will feature a SpongeBob SquarePants-centric presentation as they come “Live from Bikini Bottom,” and that means appearances by favorite SpongeBob characters and, yes, a special performance before the game by SpongeBob and company of “Sweet Victory” from the 2011 episode “Band Geeks.” Travis Scott used the intro when he performed at the Super Bowl, but we finally get a full cut of “Sweet Victory” in the Super Bowl this year.

A couple hours before kickoff, CBS released the Super Bowl LVIII edition of “Sweet Victory,” featuring an updated version of the performance from SpongeBob and the band, along with Travis Kelce and George Kittle air guitaring along with them as the star tight ends for each team were unsurprisingly the most game to get in on the fun.

Fans have been asking for years for SpongeBob to hit the Super Bowl stage and they have finally gotten their wish (in a way). The bar is now set for the rest of the musical performances at this year’s Super Bowl, headlined by Usher in the halftime show.

Kelsey Plum Prematurely Congratulates Caitlin Clark On Setting NCAA Scoring Record

WNBA star Kelsey Plum had something of a social media gaffe when she congratulated Caitlin Clark for breaking her collegiate scoring record before Clark had actually set the record. “@CaitlinClark22 Congratulations on the record, and really your entire season! I appreciate what you do for the game, much respect and love! See you at the next level, hopefully sooner than later 😜🤞🏼,” Plum wrote on social media. Clark fell eight points short of the record despite opening Iowa’s game against Nebraska with 31 points through three quarters. However, Clark scored no points in the fourth as Iowa fell apart and allowed Nebraska to steal a shock victory against the Big Ten frontrunners. Plum later acknowledged her mistake, tweeting out “My bad, next game”.

However, this means that Clark will now likely set the record in front of a home crowd against Michigan on Thursday. Furthermore, Clark is now just 148 points shy of breaking the all-time NCAA record set by Pete Maravich at LSU in the late 1960s. With five games left in the Big Ten regular season, Clark’s 32.1 points a game could mean she breaks Maravich’s record in the season finale against Ohio State.

Caitlin Clark Still Coy About Draft Declaration

However, despite her historic season, no one is quite sure if Clark will be headed to the WNBA Draft this year. Clark is the presumptive No. 1 pick in the draft and would join former South Carolina standout Aliyah Boston in Indiana if chosen. However, before the season, Clark revealed that her mind wasn’t fully made up yet. “I’m going to know when I need to know. I think it’s very similar to my college decision. It’s like I’m in the recruiting process again. It’s really not something I think about every day or let weigh on me. I’m focused on helping this team be the best they can be. The biggest thing is I’m just going to trust my gut. I’m not going to do a lot of research on what’s better. I’m going to trust my gut and go with that,” Clark said.

Clark, who turns 22 in February 2024, is part of the final class of players who can declare for a fifth year of eligibility due to the COVID-19 pandemic. She has been one of the best, if not the best, players in women’s college basketball during her time at Iowa. She won National Player of the Year last year and was second in scoring average as well as first in assists and made threes. Players have until 48 hours after their final game of the season to declare for the draft.

Taylor Swift has arrived at Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas alongside Ice Spice and Blake Lively. Swift was filmed heading to her suite at Allegiant Stadium, with the video quickly being shared on social media. Swift and Lively are close friends, while Swift and Spice bonded during their work on the remix of “Karma”.

However, it is a surprise, and show of dedication for many, that Swift is even in Vegas. Around 24 hours ago, the singer was in Tokyo performing the fourth of four consecutive shows to kick off the next leg of the Eras Tour. Despite this, Swift’s rapid departure from Tokyo indicated she was trying to make it back to the US before the game. Swift landed at LAX yesterday afternoon. Swift is on hand to support her boyfriend, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. Their romance has been a major storyline this season, much to the chagrin of many fans.

Ice Spice Clowned For Fanatics Party Performance

Meanwhile, Spice is facing backlash for her performance at last night’s Fanatics Super Bowl Party. In particular, Michael Blackson has been taking shots at the rapper. “Tell The frozen spice girl to stop singing to me, I have a dashiki that’s older than her,” Blackson wrote on Instagram. He also included footage of Spice rapping and twerking, turning the camera to capture his concerned expression. Many fans were quick to skewer Spice in the comments too. “So she’s a stripper with a microphone. Got it,” one hater said. “Imagine your music being so trash you have to show your nakedness so we can forget that your music is trash 🗑,” concurred another.

Other performers at the event included Travis Scott and Quavo. The event is an annual traditional hosted by Rubin. It all leads up to Super Bowl LVIII. The Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers face off later today. The event will also feature a Halftime Show headlined by Usher. Furthermore, the 49ers enter the game as very slight favorites, but the game is expected to be close.

Rumors only heated up when the Kardashians landed in Vegas yesterday, accompanied by someone who looked a lot like JB. Reportedly, the “Baby” singer was even spotted roaming around the Wynn at some point today alongside his wife Hailey and Pastor Judah Smith.
