Travis Scott got the sneakerheads on watch as he premiered a Travis Scott and Nike Jordan Jumpman Jack in a red colorway. The sneaker was premiered on the European leg of the Circus Maximus Tour.

Internationally acclaimed global superstar Travis Scott is currently halfway through the Europe + UK leg of his critically acclaimed CIRCUS MAXIMUS TOUR, grossing over $23.6 million with nearly 200,000 attendees across the first 7 dates. The tour kicked off on Friday, June 28th in Arnhem, Netherlands at GelreDome and has since played shows in Krakow, Zurich, Nice, Antwerp, and London. Scott’s July 11 performance at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium drew over 48,500 attendees and grossed more than $6.6 million, marking his largest headline show to date. He also broke the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium merchandise sales record for any event to date at the stadium including the NFL. 

The sold-out 44-date North American leg of Travis Scott’s CIRCUS MAXIMUS TOUR grossed an impressive $95.7 million with an attendance of 686,000, breaking multiple merchandise sale records across states. Scott also made history as the first rapper to headline a sold-out show at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.

The tour continues tomorrow, July 16th, with a performance in Hamburg, Germany at Barclays Arena, followed by stops in Prague, Cologne, Milan, Frankfurt, and Madrid, before concluding on Friday, August 2nd in Lisbon, Portugal at MEO Arena.

One Euro/Pound from every ticket sold will go to the Cactus Jack Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to uplifting Houston youth through toy drives, scholarship programs for HBCU college students, and supporting educational and creative endeavors. So far, $250,000 has been donated to the Cactus Jack Foundation from the Europe/UK leg of the tour.

Travis Scott is hitting up various European countries later this year to continue his Circus Maximus tour, and it looks like demand hasn’t slowed down one bit. Moreover, he reportedly sold out stadium shows in Italy, Germany, and England (specifically London) in a single day, yet it’s unclear whether the other dates in countries like the Netherlands, Poland, Belgium, or other U.K. cities are also sold out. Either way, you’d better refresh that tour page quick, because it seems like tickets are selling out fast for these concerts. This continues a lot of Cactus Jack hype these days, including the recently announced Nike Shark-A-Don sneaker.

Furthermore, another Travis Scott promo piece that has fans very excited and ready to sell it out is whatever he’s cooking with Kanye West. They recently appeared in a new Cactus Jack ad centered around their children, and we don’t yet know exactly what they have planned or what they’re going to come out with. Elsewhere, Travis Scott is still reckoning with the consequences of the 2021 Astroworld tragedy, and he’s not completely free to go just yet. While he and Live Nation settled nine civil lawsuits over wrongful deaths that the music festival’s crowd crush caused, one remains open. It’s impossible to tell whether or not this will fully go to trial given how complicated and back-and-forth the situation has been thus far. All we can hope for is that the achieved outcome is one that the mourning family feels satisfied or vindicated with, as they are the main people to consider in seeking this accountability.

Meanwhile, Travis Scott’s European leg is building up to be a pretty exciting run of shows that hopefully continue to prove his higher awareness and safety prioritization in the face of these lawsuits and cases. With a sold-out venue as his backdrop, Gunna performed some of his fan-favorite songs along with his notable chart-topping hits. However, amidst the performance, one moment stood out vividly to the audience. During Gunna’s playing of the song “Hot,” fans noticed that the set was accompanied by a striking backdrop displaying the words “Free Jeffery.”

“Hot” is a song that Gunna performs together with Young Thug. In this gesture of having “Free Jeffery” displayed on the walls, the “fukumean” rapper demonstrated support and solidarity with his fellow label mate.
