Tonight (February 3) Jennifer Lopez made her fifth appearance on Saturday Night Live as the musical guest. The performance arrives ahead of her upcoming album, This Is Me…Now, which will be accompanied by a film, streaming on Prime Video. And with her performance of the album’s lead single, “Can’t Get Enough,” Lopez gave us a taste of what to expect, by showing off her theatrics.
While on stage, Lopez moved effortlessly to the festive beat. Joined by dancers matching her energy, Lopez continued to ride the high ahead of This Is Me…Now, which was largely inspired by her rekindled romance with her now-husband, Ben Affleck.
Dressed in black and white, Lopez and her dancers were celebrating the ultimate wedding bash. Midway through the performance, she was joined by rapper Latto, who contributed a verse to the song’s remix, which was released last month. While Latto’s surprise appearance was rather short, she didn’t once miss a beat.
Toward the end of the performance, rapper Redman made a surprise appearance, adding yet another new verse to “Can’t Get Enough.”

The good news: Not only is Ayo Edebiri hosting SNL for the first time, but the musical guest is no less than Jennifer Lopez. The bad: They might have had to talk about Edebiri insulting Lopez a few years back. Ahead of this week’s episode, an old clip of the now-Emmy-winner and former Thunderbolts cast member dissing the Grammy nominee resurfaced, and they’re not great.
Ayo Edebiri’s past insults about Jennifer Lopez re-surface as they’re both set to appear on #SNL:
Per Page Six, Edebiri appeared on the podcast Scam Goddess back in 2020. It was two years before The Bear made her a big star, and she clearly felt comfortable running her mouth about Lopez, even disseminating a conspiracy theory.
“She thinks she’s on multiple tracks, but it’s not her,” Edebiri said at the time, referring to a rumor that Lopez uses ghost singers. “I think she thinks that she’s still good even though she’s not singing for most of these songs.”
Edebiri went on. “A lot of the write-ups of the songs will be like, ‘J. Lo didn’t have time to make it to the studio,’ like, ‘J. Lo was busy,’” she said. “It’s like, ‘Doing what?’
She concluded that Lopez’s musical career is “one long scam.”
Neither Edebiri nor Lopez have addressed the comments. In the SNL promo, which you can watch above, they seem extra chummy.
“I’m really excited, I love your show,” Lopez told Edebiri, presumably referring to The Bear.
Edebiri replied, “I love your everything.”
Perhaps the two have buried the hatchet. One hopes, because otherwise things could get awkward.

In his debut Saturday Night Live appearance, Australian actor Jacob Elordi laid it all out on the table, beginning with his opening monologue. He addressed one of the many shocking scenes in his latest film, Saltburn, and displayed a clip of Barry Keoghan’s character Oliver inserting himself into Elordi’s character, Felix’s grave.
The clip, for the sake of a TV-14 audience, was censored, however, Elordi clarified “I was the one in the grave.”
He continued, saying “If you saw the movie, thank you. If you saw the movie with your parents, I’m sorry. And if you saw the movie with your girlfriend, you’re welcome.”
After this, Elordi takes a few questions from the audience. One fan tells him “Loved you in Priscilla” then asked “What’s your favorite version of Elvis? Young Elvis or Old Elvis?”
Elordi then offered a cheeky response, saying “Probably Lilo And Stitch Elvis.”
This clarification comes after an October 2023 interview on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, during which he revealed that he wasn’t super familiar with Elvis Presley’s catalog ahead of Priscilla.
“The most I knew of Elvis was in ‘Lilo & Stitch,’” Elordi said. “Which is a lot, by the way.”
In Lilo And Stitch, Lilo (Daveigh Chase) is a super fan of Elvis, and plays songs like “Heartbreak Hotel,” “Hound Dog,” and “Burnin’ Love” throughout the movie.

Kid Cudi wore a dress on Saturday Night Live, and a fan attempted to connect his appearance to a humiliation ritual conducted by The Illuminati. Well, Cudi had some time.
“Dear Issac u silly stupid lil person and all people under this post,” Cudi opened. “It’s the start of a new year and I got time for muthafuckas like u today. This most is mad fuckin lame of u and said.
“A black man cant express himself and be confident AND successful with out it being some conspiracy. My success was givin to me by God with the help of my many angels.”

Late last year, Kid Cudi returned with a bang as he released “At The Party,” featuring the talents of Pharrell Williams and Travis Scott. The track is the next single from his highly anticipated ninth full-length studio album, INSANO, marking his first full-length release since 2022.
Kid Cudi has long been known for pushing the boundaries of music and art, and “At The Party” is poised to continue that legacy. With Pharrell Williams and Travis Scott on board, this collaboration promises to be a standout addition to the artist’s discography.
Kate McKinnon showed off her comedy, acting, and musical prowess on tonight’s episode of Saturday Night Live. In addition to her amazing opening monologue, McKinnon delivered a catchy anthem celebrating menstruation and its vital accessories.
In a new music video, McKinnon brought viewers down to a special farm. Channeling country singers like The Chicks, Mckinnon was joined by fellow SNL actresses Maya Rudolph and Kristen Wiig, as they all made tampons on a special tampon farm.
Now, if you’re confused about the happenings of a tampon farm, McKinnon and the ladies break it down for us by way of a certified country-pop banger.
“Tampon fur / women making cotton / cotton for the tampons / tampons for the blood / tampon fur / women with guitars are singing to the tampons / tampon fur / Sun makes the fires / she hands load the fibers / into little things of plastic / to go in a jean and the moon makes the menses / and the menses makes the fibers / and they sing,” sings McKinnon on the song’s chorus.
Throughout the clip, many of the ladies of SNL make appearances, including Chloe Fineman, and the musical guest of the night, Billie Eilish. Fans may also catch SNL writer Paula Pell, who is also known as Gloria on Girls5EVa.
It’s the season of giving, and tonight’s Weekend Update portion on Saturday Night Live was a special gift for millennials. During part of the weekly segment, SNL cast member Chloe Fineman offered some gift ideas “for that special someone.”
To the surprise of Weekend Update hosts Colin Jost and Michael Che, Fineman took to the front of the stage, as she needed the space to show off her dance moves.
“The perfect holiday gift this year is the dance that Julia Stiles does at the end of the 2001 dance movie, Save The Last Dance,” said Fineman.
Fineman then proceeds to deliver the movie’s iconic brand of “street ballet,” while talking about some of the movie’s bizarre plot points. Notably, about Stiles’ character getting a second chance to audition for Juilliard after bombing the first time.
“Her crush, Derek [played by Sean Patrick Thomas], skips a drive-by shooting to come support her,” says Fineman.
“So does she get into Juilliard?” asked Jost.
Seconds later, Stiles herself made a surprise appearance in the Weekend Update newsroom.
“Yes!,” replied Stiles, which prompted cheers from the audience.
Teaming up with Fineman, Stiles reminded us just how exactly her character, Sara, nailed her Juilliard audition.
This week’s Saturday Night Liveepisode boasts an exciting line-up. On Saturday (December 9), Adam Driver will host the show ahead of the premiere of his upcoming movie Ferrari. Olivia Rodrigo, who, earlier this year, released her critically acclaimed sophomore album Guts, will serve as this week’s musical guest.
Ahead of the broadcast, NBC has shared the official promo for this show, featuring Driver, Rodrigo, and Heidi Gardner. In the clip, the trio calls back to Rodrigo’s breakthrough single, “Drivers License.”
“Okay, this is awkward,” said Gardner in the clip. “Olivia Rodrigo and the guy she wrote a song about.”
Driver then asked “which song?” to which Gardner replied, “Drivers License.” She continued, saying “Adam Driver,” emphasizing the actors last name.
Playing defense, Driver replied, saying “that song’s not about me.”
Rodrigo then replied, saying, “It’s 100% about you.”
While we all appreciate a good pun, it’s safe to assume this is a joke. Rodrigo explained in an interview on Today that she will likely never reveal who each of her songs are about.
“I think explanation is never good for art,” says Rodrigo. “Why would I pigeonhole a song into being about this one thing in my life, when everyone has their own interpretation?”
You can see the promo above.
Saturday Night Live airs at 11 p.m. EST on NBC and streams live simultaneously on Peacock.
Ahead of the premiere of her upcoming movie Poor Things, Emma Stone brought the laughs on Saturday Night Live. In her fifth time hosting the show, Stone displayed naked emotion &mdash: literally — in a new bop featuring the SNL cast.
The song, “Fully Naked In New York City,” opens with Bowen Yang finding himself down on his luck. He is seen sitting on his bed before walking around his apartment. Stone is then seen in her apartment, also finding herself lamenting the day-to-day, hustle and bustle of life. But the two quickly find that they have similar coping mechanisms.
In the next frame, the two are seen nude (digitally blurred, of course), riding on the back of a garbage truck.
In unison, Stone and Yang then reel over “Riding in the back of a garbage truck / being naked in the middle of New York City.”
Shortly after, Stone is seen sitting on a large beam, enjoying a sandwich mid-air. Several of the other SNL cast members join in on the nude fun, as Chloe Fineman, Andrew Dismukes, Chloe Troast, and more are seen dancing their way through construction sites, donning nothing but their birthday suits.
