Jennifer Lopez Renamed Her Tour As A Greatest Hits Show Following Reports Of Low Ticket Sales

Jennifer Lopez doesn’t quit. That’s one takeaway from This Is Me…Now, the sequel album to 2002’s This Is Me…Then that bookends her full-circle romance with Ben Affleck and all of her personal and professional ups-and-downs in between. Lopez has been through everything imaginable throughout her iconic multi-hyphenate career. So, no, she wouldn’t be scared by reported lower-than-expected ticket sales.

In mid-March, Variety reported Lopez’s mysterious cancelation of seven This Is Me…Now The Tour dates and noted, “While the tour is still scheduled for a robust 30 shows, large numbers of tickets at most of the tour’s dates remain unsold.” On Wednesday, April 3, Lopez casually revealed an updated tour title, This Is Me…Live The Greatest Hits, with an Instagram Reel. Variety pointed out that this repackaging is likely a play to “apparently broaden its scope” after the reported low ticket sales after her original tour announcement in February.

However, to be fair, People reported that the cancelations were due to “a logistical issue through the tour’s promoter.” Lopez did not acknowledge ticket sales whatsoever in her new announcement. Instead, she leaned heavily on nostalgia, which is always smart if you’re Jennifer Lopez.

This Is Me…Now debuted at No. 38 on the Billboard 200 after its February 16 release.

Jennifer Lopez’s Song About Her Sex Life With Ben Affleck Is… Something Else

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck haven’t reached Will and Jada levels of “we know far too much about these people,” but they’re getting there. A song on J-Lo’s ninth studio album and first in 10 years, This Is Me… Now, is unmistakably about her Dunkin’-loving husband — and their sex life.

“Greatest Love Story Never Told” (you can listen to the song below) begins with Lopez referencing her and Affleck’s on again, off again, on again romance: “Different roads, two lost souls / Never thought we’d find our way back / Could’ve lost what matters most / How could I live with that?” Then things get racy: “Missing your body climbing on top of me, slippin’ inside of me / Way that I ride it, bodies aligning, look at our timing / Forget about the world when we’re alone / Only thing that ever felt, felt like home.”

Anyone who has seen Gone Girl knows what “it” is.

While Ben obviously served as a major inspo on the new album, he also got involved personally — lending some background vocals for “Not Going Anywhere.” Yep, he’s credited.

Lopez is also releasing a documentary about the album titled The Greatest Love Story Never Told, but Jane Fonda, who appears in the film, thinks maybe she should calm things down by like 10 percent. According to Pajiba, the actress warned Lopez that while she’s rooting for her and Affleck to stay together forever, “it feels too much like you’re trying to prove something instead of just living it. You know, every other photograph is the two of you kissing and the two of you hugging.”

When Do Jennifer Lopez’s ‘This Is Me… Now The Tour’ Tickets Go On Sale?

Jennifer Lopez is coming for it all in 2024. The multi-hyphenate icon dropped “Can’t Get Enough” alongside a Dave Meyers-directed video satirizing her marriage history. That was followed by the very sexual trailer for Lopez’s forthcoming This Is Me… Now: A Love Story due out via Amazon Prime Video on Friday, February 16, simultaneous with the release of This Is Me… Now, her first album since 2014.

So, it only makes sense that Lopez will also embark on her This Is Me… Now The Tour, beginning on June 26 in Orlando, Florida. It will be her first tour since 2019.

When Do Jennifer Lopez’s This Is Me… Now The Tour Tickets Go On Sale?

As per press release, there are several pre-sales. The JLo Fan Club pre-sale is scheduled for Tuesday, February 20, beginning at 9 a.m. local time. The Citi pre-sale will allow Citi cardmembers to access pre-sale tickets for US dates here beginning on Tuesday, February 20, at 10 a.m. local time. Verizon customers can also enjoy exclusive pre-sale tickets “for applicable US dates” via Verizon Up from Tuesday, February 20, at 10 a.m. local time through Thursday, February 22, at 10 p.m. local time.

How Much Are Tickets For Jennifer Lopez’s ‘This Is Me… Now The Tour?’

Jennifer Lopez has announced her first tour in five years. The This Is Me… Now The Tour kicks off on June 26 following the release of J-Lo’s new album This Is Me… Now, which drops this Friday, February 16. Tickets go on sale February 23 at 10 AM local time on Live Nation, and of course, there are all the requisite presales for fan club members and Citicard holders before that. But how much are the tickets?

Unfortunately, the prices haven’t been made available just yet, and as J-Lo’s last tour was in 2019 — before a number of events caused some pretty sizable fluctuations in ticket prices across the industry — it’s hard to judge. But looking at pop concert prices at some of the same venues she’s playing should givve us an idea how much they might be. For instance, Madonna’s Celebration Tour at Kia Forum in Los Angeles runs from about $85 to $506, so that range should be comparable. We’ll learn more next Friday. Those in Jennifer Lopez‘s fanclub will be able to purchase presale tickets starting on Tuesday, February 20 at 9 a.m. local time, followed by a presale for Citi and Verizon customers opening that same day at 10 a.m. local. From there, a general sale will open to the public on Friday, February 23 at 10 a.m. local time.

Jennifer Lopez has long balanced music, acting, and other pop culture interests, and has thrived at it all. Now, she’s shifting the focus back to music: Her new album, This Is Me… Now, comes out tomorrow, February 16. Lopez just preceded that release, though, with big news: Starting this summer, she’s heading out on This Is Me… Now The Tour.

The trek kicks off in Orlando on June 26 and will hit other major North American cities between then and late August, putting Lopez on the road for a busy couple months. This will be Lopez’s first concert tour since 2019.

As for tickets, the first ones will be made available with a JLo Fan Club presale starting Tuesday, February 20 at 9 a.m. local time. There are also presales exclusive to Citi cardmembers and Verizon customers, both starting on February 20 at 10 a.m. local time. Today, Jennifer Lopez, one of the most influential entertainers of our time, declared her highly anticipated return to the touring stage with This Is Me…Now The Tour. After a five-year hiatus, Lopez is set to dazzle audiences again with her chart-topping hits and new tracks from her upcoming album, This Is Me…Now.

The tour, produced by Live Nation, will commence on June 26 in Orlando, FL at Kia Center, spanning over 30 cities across North America, including Miami, Los Angeles, Toronto, New York City, and more, before concluding on August 31 in Houston, TX at Toyota Center.

This Is Me…Now The Tour follows the announcement of Lopez’s forthcoming album and the Amazon Original, This Is Me…Now: A Love Story, set to release on Feb. 16th.

Jennifer Lopez Debuted A New Song, ‘This Is Me…Now,’ In A Rosy Pink ‘SNL’ Performance

In her second performance of the night, Jennifer Lopez debuted new music on the Saturday Night Live stage. Ahead of her upcoming album, This Is Me…Now, Lopez premiered the album’s title track.

The song, which serves as the opener on This Is Me…Now, is downtempo ballad, on which, Lopez basks in the joy of her rekindled love with her now-husband, Ben Affleck.

“You met me halfway / Growing pains, broke some chains in every chapter / Now we know what it takes for our ever after / Took some lefts, now we’re right here where we are,” sings Lopez in the song’s opening verse.

Having made a loving reconnection, Lopez realizes that Affleck has helped her love herself even more.

“This is me now / And I took my time / Lot of winters summers baby / And I healed my heart / But I love who I am lately / This is me now,” sings Lopez on the song’s chorus.

While on stage, Lopez was dressed in pink roses, symbolizing a blissful new chapter — a brand new era of love and happiness, with the person she never stopped thinking about.

Tonight (February 3) Jennifer Lopez made her fifth appearance on Saturday Night Live as the musical guest. The performance arrives ahead of her upcoming album, This Is Me…Now, which will be accompanied by a film, streaming on Prime Video. And with her performance of the album’s lead single, “Can’t Get Enough,” Lopez gave us a taste of what to expect, by showing off her theatrics.

While on stage, Lopez moved effortlessly to the festive beat. Joined by dancers matching her energy, Lopez continued to ride the high ahead of This Is Me…Now, which was largely inspired by her rekindled romance with her now-husband, Ben Affleck.

Dressed in black and white, Lopez and her dancers were celebrating the ultimate wedding bash. Midway through the performance, she was joined by rapper Latto, who contributed a verse to the song’s remix, which was released last month. While Latto’s surprise appearance was rather short, she didn’t once miss a beat.

Toward the end of the performance, rapper Redman made a surprise appearance, adding yet another new verse to “Can’t Get Enough.”
