Skip Bayless is in hot water with many in the sports community after an insensitive tweet following the collapse of Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin. In the aftermath, former NBA player and current sports analyst Stephen Jackson hit Twitter with a direct threat to Bayless.

“Ima slap the shit outta @RealSkipBayless u too bold,” Jackson wrote. “All respect gone.”

In a set of follow-up tweets, Jackson would provide additional commentary.

He wrote, “We talking about a life. I maybe sensitive from losing my lil bro and lil sis or I may just have a heart. Smdh.”

Jackson would close with: “Different strokes for diff folks. Might go over y’all heads. We know who gone defend him. No surprise here.”

After the on-field incident, Bayless tweeted that he agreed with the postponement decision but wondered why it was being made so close to the season’s finale.

“No doubt the NFL is considering postponing the rest of this game – but how?” Skip tweeted. “This late in the season, a game of this magnitude is crucial to the regular-season outcome … which suddenly seems so irrelevant.”

Shannon Sharpe Misses ‘Undisputed’ Episode Due To Skip Bayless Insensitive Damar Hamlin Tweet

Shannon Sharpe Believes Michael Jordan Dropped The Ball on His Response to Donald Trump

Shannon Sharpe was unexpectedly missing from Tuesday’s episode of Undisputed. However, sources are saying that his absence was due to Skip Bayless’s insensitive tweet following the Damar Hamlin incident.

TMZ reported on Tuesday that Shannon skipped the episode because he was “upset” over Skip Bayless’s insensitive Damar Hamlin tweet where he wondered why the NFL would suspend an important game this late in the season. The outlet also noted that the network does not know if Sharpe will return to work on Wednesday either.

Skip has been facing heavy backlash for his tweet from people and athletes on social media. Many have even called for his firing. Bayless took Tuesday’s episode to apologize for his comments and clarify what he was trying to say.

“I apologize for what we’re going to set out to do here today, if it offends anyone, because we’re gonna try to do the show pretty much as we usually do the show. I’ll admit up front, I’m still shook up by what happened last night to Damar Hamlin,” Bayless said. “In fact, I’m still wrecked. In fact, I’m not sure I’m capable of doing this show today. After barely sleeping on it last night, I decided to give it a try.”

He added, “We wrestled through much of the night whether to even do a show today because it felt like in our mind, we almost can’t win with this. Because the last thing we want to try to do is come off as insensitive to what this young man is going through in a life-or-death situation. … As this show goes on, we’re going to try and talk about a little bit of sports, but we’re going to continue to talk about what happened to this young man last night and try to sort back through it with help from you and the audience.”

You can watch his apology below.

Skip Bayless’ Damar Hamlin Tweet Causes Reactions From Stephen Jackson & Kyle Kuzma

Last night, Buffalo Bills Safety Damar Hamlin suffered one of the worst injuries the sports world has ever seen.

During the first quarter of the Bills game against the Cincinnati Bengals on Monday (December 2), Hamlin collapsed on the field after making a tackle.

The world was immediately sent into shock when the 24-year-old had to receive CPR for nearly 10 minutes following the incident. Reports indicate that he went into cardiac arrest.

Both Bengals and Bills players began surrounding Hamlin as this was going on. He subsequently left the stadium in an ambulance to take him to the University of Cincinnati Medial Center. He remains there, reportedly in critical condition.

As the world was awaiting an update on the 24-year-old’s status, Skip Bayless took to his Twitter account to share his thoughts on the league’s looming decision on the rest of the game. Evidently, everyone was seemingly in agreement that the game should be postponed.

“No doubt the NFL is considering postponing the rest of this game – but how? This late in the season, a game of this magnitude is crucial to the regular-season outcome … which suddenly seems so irrelevant,” the sports columnist writes in his controversial tweet.

Stephen Jackson subsequently took to his Instagram Stories to share his thoughts on the 71-year-old’s tweet. “You know what’s crazy? If it was Tom Brady, I guarantee you would’ve chose your words wisely. Somebody that’s been in journalism for over 40 years knows exactly what to say and how to say it,” says the former NBA player.

“We ain’t talking about an athlete that went into journalism, we talking about somebody that’s been in journalism their whole life. He never was an athlete. Not once was he an athlete. So journalism is his thing, just like basketball is my thing. He knows what he’s saying and when he’s saying it. He not getting no pass for this. But now everybody on his ass, now he wanna come with a lame ass apology. And don’t come on TV and say, ‘we can’t be insensitive to this situation.’ You wrote that tweet, nobody else,” he continues afterwards.

Additionally, Kyle Kuzma also has some choice words for the Undisputed co-host. “How come there is no repercussions for any of Skip Bayless’s insensitive things that he has said over the years?? Hmmmm….” says the Wizards Power Forward.

In 2020, Bayless publicly criticized Dak Prescott and implied that he was a bad leader for the Cowboys. This came after the Quarterback revealed that he had been dealing with depression due to the pandemic and his brother’s suicide. “I don’t have sympathy for him going public with, ‘I got depressed. I suffered depression early in Covid, to the point that I couldn’t even go work out.’ Look, he’s the Quarterback of America’s team,” he says in the clip.

Regardless, the 71-year-old has since apologized for his seemingly insensitive tweet. “Nothing is more important than that young man’s health. That was the point of my last tweet. I’m sorry if that was misunderstood but his health is all that matters. Again, everything else is irrelevant. I prayed for him & will continue to,” he clarifies.

Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with Damar Hamlin and his family. Stay tuned to HNHH for any further updates.

“No doubt the NFL is considering postponing the rest of this game – but how?” Bayless tweeted at the time. “This late in the season, a game of this magnitude is crucial to the regular-season outcome … which suddenly seems so irrelevant.”

After he began catching backlash for the post, Bayless attempted to clarify what he meant.

“Nothing is more important than that young man’s health. That was the point of my last tweet. I’m sorry if that was misunderstood but his health is all that matters,” Bayless tweeted.

Finally, during Tuesday morning’s episode of Undisputed, Bayless apologized at length.

“I apologize for what for what we’re going to set out to do here today, if it offends anyone because we’re going to try to do the show pretty much as usual we do the show,” he said. “I’ll admit up front that I’m still shook up what happened last night to Damar Hamlin.”

“In fact, I’m not sure I’m capable of doing this show today,” he added.

Bayless went on to say that he and the crew struggled with the decision as to whether to stay on the air on Tuesday.

Social Media Calls For Skip Bayless’s Firing After Insensitive Damar Hamlin Tweet

Skip Bayless Catches Heat For Saying He Has 'No Sympathy' for Dak Prescott's Fight With Depression

While Skip Bayless is known for his controversial sports takes and for often ruffling the feathers of his Undisputed co-host Shannon Sharpe, the sports talk show host is now under fire for his insensitive comments regarding Damar Hamlin, the Buffalo Bills safety who suffered cardiac arrest after a tackle during Monday night’s game against the Bengals.

Following the incident, Bayless had tweeted that he understood the decision to postpone the game but questioned why they would postpone it so close to the end of the season.

“No doubt the NFL is considering postponing the rest of this game – but how?” Skip tweeted. “This late in the season, a game of this magnitude is crucial to the regular-season outcome … which suddenly seems so irrelevant.”

People on social media and athletes alike quickly called for Skip’s cancellation because of the insensitive tweet.

Bills safety Damar Hamlin suffered cardiac arrest in the first quarter of Monday’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals. Hamlin stood up after the tackle then collapsed just seconds later. CPR was reportedly administered for 9 minutes before he was put on a stretcher and escorted off the field and taken to a hospital. Players from both teams took a knee and some players even cried during and after the incident occurred.

The game was initially suspended, and the suspension continued even after Hamlin was taken off of the field. Reports have been spreading across social media that the NFL game each team 5 minutes to warm up before going back on the field and resuming the game. However, coaches refused to put their players back on the field, resulting in a postponement of the game.

After the injury, social media was quick to find and spread the word about a GoFundMe that Hamlin had started for a toy drive. The fundraiser only had a goal of $2,500 and within a few hours had reached over $3 million dollars. You can find the link to the fundraiser here.

Skip Bayless Rips Ezekiel Elliott Despite Cowboys Win

Skip Bayless is one of the biggest Cowboys fans out there. Ever since becoming an analyst on TV, Bayless has ridden for his Cowboys. Unfortunately, they haven’t given him too much to cheer about, especially when it comes to the postseason. Overall, they have done very little in the Dak Prescott era, and it remains to be seen if they ever will.

Last night, the Cowboys played a Thursday Night showdown against the Tennessee Titans. In the end, they won 27-13, however, it wasn’t the showing that Bayless was truly hoping for. Instead, the Cowboys were sloppy at times and ultimately benefitted from the Titans’ long list of injuries.

Skip Bayless Vs. Ezekiel Elliott

Ezekiel Elliott scored a touchdown in last night’s game, however, he did very little aside from that. He is simply not the running back he used to be, and Bayless was very quick to point that out. In fact, he wished for Tony Pollard to rush back from his injury.

“Get healthy soon, Tony Pollard,” Skip said. “Without you, Zeke gets exposed as more of a fullback than a halfback. One yard and a cloud of disgust.”

On Undisputed, Bayless offered up more of the same in terms of analysis. However, he decided to take the heat off of Elliott and instead, put it on the entire team.

“I needed a 40-0 statement,” Bayless said. “I needed them to rocket fuel the momentum that they relaunched against Philadelphia after blowing it all at Jacksonville. It was one of those nights on a national stage where you need to flex your firepower.”

Hopefully, for Skip, his Cowboys can start getting back on track a bit. After all, the playoffs are almost here and once again, they are looking to avoid another first-round exit.

Skip Bayless Rips Into LeBron James

Skip Bayless has made a career off of being a LeBron James hater. For some, this is incredibly sad. For others, this is peak entertainment. Bayless certainly knows how to be a polarizing figure, and that will never change. However, it is ultimately what has made him so famous.

Recently, LeBron and the Lakers lost to the Miami Heat. After the game, LeBron was asked if winning is really his priority right now. James came right out and said that it was. Although the Lakers are playing horribly, LeBron’s stats are still outstanding, which ultimately led to the question.

“I’m a winner & I want to win,” LeBron said. “I want to still compete for championships & that’s been my passion & goal since I entered the league as an 18yo kid out of Akron, Ohio…Playing basketball just to be playing basketball is not in my DNA anymore.”

Skip Bayless Reacts

Bayless did not appreciate this response one bit. Overall, Bayless has been trying to prove to everyone that LeBron just cares about stats right now. That said, he unleashed a rant today about how LeBron needs to stop lying. Simply put, he finds it “unbecoming.”

“This is unbecoming of LeBron. LeBron is better than this,” Bayless said. “LeBron wants to win, I get it. But I just didn’t want to hear this now from LeBron. I don’t think his teammates wanted to hear this right now.”

Bayless will find any reason to disparage LeBron, and this was one of the better reasons he could find. It might be sad, but oh boy does it get FS1 those sweet, sweet ratings.

Skip Bayless Finds A Way To Downplay Luka Doncic’s Historic Game

Skip Bayless is a generational hater. It isn’t common for someone to be as much of a hater as Skip is. However, Bayless is a one-of-a-kind individual. Whether or not that is for better or for worse, is really up to you to decide. Regardless, it has made Bayless some big bucks.

Bayless typically loves to hate LeBron. Although, with LeBron looking to retire in a few years, Bayless needs a new target. For now, it seems like that target is Luka Doncic of the Dallas Mavericks. No matter how well he does in a particular game, you can be sure Bayless will say something about it.

Skip Bayless Vs. Luka

Last night, Doncic scored 60 points while notching 21 rebounds and 10 assists. No player in the history of the NBA has ever had this statline. Even Wilt Chamberlain has never accomplished this. However, it still was not enough to make Skip happy as he delivered a baffling take on Undisputed.

“I’ll go to an 8 on the impressive scale. We have to take into account the opposition, which was an embarrassment. The Knicks were overmatched against Luka,” Bayless said. “Four of the five best players weren’t even playing for the Knicks. The Knicks played all of OT with the same 5 guys. They were overpowered and overmatched, it’s shameful.”

Instead of giving Luka props, he decided to just blame the other team for his great performance. Overall, it is yet another case of some amazing generational hating from Bayless. At this point, you just have to expect it.

If you actually appreciate quality basketball, then you can see Luka’s best highlights, below. Let us know what you thought of Luka’s game, in the comments section.

Skip Bayless Calls Out Mac Jones For Being A Dirty Player

Skip Bayless is easily one of the most vocal people in the entire sports world. He is constantly delivering hot takes on all things sports. He typically gets to do this on Undisputed where he sits across from the likes of Shannon Sharpe. Overall, he is a polarizing figure and that will never change.

More recently, Bayless has come under fire for his treatment of Sharpe. Many have taken issue with how he tries to provoke his co-host. For the most part, Bayless has not addressed any of this, and it is likely that he never will.

Today, however, Bayless and Sharpe had a new task at hand as they discussed the likes of Mac Jones. Jones is not having a particularly great season in New England. In fact, he is now being called a dirty player. This is all thanks to plays like the one down below.

Skip Bayless Reacts

Subsequently, Bayless had an interesting reaction to all of this. As you can see down below, he is shocked that such a young player would stoop this low. He is even more shocked that a quarterback is gaining a dirty reputation. For Bayless, this is almost unheard of.

“I have never, ever heard of a quarterback, A QUARTERBACK, who has been branded as a cheap shot artist and a dirty player,” he said. “What quarterback have you ever known who could even put himself in position to make dirty plays? Somehow this kid pulls it off and this wasn’t a first. It’s like Grayson Allen, who couldn’t keep himself from tripping players.”

Jones is developing one of the worst reputations you can have, and that is not going to bold well for his future. Hopefully, he can learn from his mistakes and start playing with a bit more respect.

Skip Bayless Debuts His Cowboys-Inspired Christmas Gift

Skip Bayless is one of the most polarizing people in the sports television world. Some people love him for his trolling, while others think he is the worst thing to happen to sports discourse. Overall, this has made him a huge money-maker for Fox Sports 1, and that is why he remains employed.

As many of you know, Skip is a huge fan of the Cowboys. This year, they have been having a solid season. On Christmas Eve, they defeated the Philadelphia Eagles in an incredibly entertaining matchup. Subsequently, Bayless was able to have the best Christmas ever.

Skip Bayless Celebrates

With Bayless feeling the Christmas cheer, he was able to have a good Sunday with his wife Ernestine. In the image down below, you can even see the sportscaster showcasing his new Dallas Cowboys poncho. Subsequently, we imagine he is going to wear this on the air whenever they win.

Today, Bayless was overjoyed while talking about his team. He noted that he thought the Cowboys played the perfect game, even if it was against the backup QB of the Eagles. Overall, Bayless is having the time of his life and he was ready for this moment.

“My Dallas Cowboys are going to have a very happy New Year. They made a statement that we are a potential Super Bowl team,” he said. “I give my Cowboys a 9 on the 1-10 impressive scale because there was no Jalen Hurts, but I do respect Gardner Minshew. I believe all told, this was their best game of the year.”

The Cowboys probably won’t win their division, however, they will be a threat in the postseason. If somehow they do win the title, then there is no stopping Bayless from being a complete menace.

Let us know what you think the Cowboys’ chances are, in the comments down below.
