Quavo Hones His Karate Skills In Japan: Watch

Quavo’s been making the most of his time in Japan lately, shooting what appears to be an upcoming music video at a karate studio earlier this week. He shared a carousel from his visit on Instagram, boasting a black belt as he flexed his newfound skills. In one clip, the Georgia native is seen using his fist to break a wooden board with ease, proudly walking off after the feat.

“That was nice,” he was sure to note. Elsewhere in his post, Quavo included shots of himself eating sushi from a model’s scantily clad body, posing with a group of dancers from the video, and more. It’s unclear what track the new video will accompany, but obviously, he’s going all out.

Quavo Appears To Be Shooting A New Music Video

While most commenters are impressed by Quavo’s karate skills, others are sounding off with jokes. “He paid for that black belt,” one fan theorizes. “Bro hit an adlib after the hit,” another mentions. Regardless, it’s clear that the performer’s having a blast on his trip. Amid his travels, the former Migos member never misses an opportunity to honor his fallen nephew Takeoff, and his trip to Japan has been no exception. Earlier this week, he spotted a local fan sporting a t-shirt featuring various images of the late artist’s face. “Yea boy, you got that motherf**ker on!” he shouted, overjoyed to see the fan showing love to Takeoff. “Ooo, that shirt hard! Where’d you get this?” he then asked.

Naturally, the fan removed the shirt in the middle of the street and gave it to him without hesitation. Quavo offered the generous man some cash in exchange for the shirt, but he seemed satisfied by the heartfelt encounter. Are you impressed with Quavo’s karate skills? Are you looking forward to his upcoming music video? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

Lil Wayne Flexes Skateboarding Skills In New Video With Custom Board

Lil Wayne recently showed off his skateboarding skills with friends at an indoor space on Instagram. While some people were skeptical at his tricks and called them repetitive over the years, he’s clearly still got it. Also, it’s important to note that out of all rappers on the planet, Wayne’s the last person who needs an extracurricular. Not only is he an incredibly prolific rapper and feature presence, but he’s probably got so much in the vault. Overall, Weezy’s skill with a mic and/or pen translates well on wheels, and he clearly loves it a lot.

In fact, the New Orleans MC is such a fan that he just watched skating videos during a Grammys party. Furthermore, but it’s kind of funny considering that they also honored him with the Global Impact Award.  “I want you all to know that I don’t get honored,” he said during his acceptance speech. “Where I’m from, New Orleans, you’re not supposed to do this. I’d like to thank every single one of my kids and every single one of their mothers.” To top it off, he saw some skate tapes and did great at his performance later.

Also, the rapper recently received a custom pro model board to signify his official professional skateboarder status. “This was a Christmas gift, but I decided to turn it into a surprise because it would be more meaningful that way,” Wayne’s videographer for Young Money Skate, Phil Lopez. “As Wayne’s videographer, I wanted to do something special for him that he’d remember. I approached Torey, owner of Thank You Skate Co., with the board design, and he was able to help execute the production process.” Pro skaters Torey Pudwill, Keelan Dadd, and Yosef Ratleff were also there to gift him the board. In fact, that seemed to be the same board he uses in this newest skate video.

However, even with all those accolades, Tunechi doesn’t call himself “the GOAT” of skating. Moreover, he shouted out Tyler, the Creator, Rich the Kid, Justin Bieber, and a few others for how much fun they have together. Apparently, Rich in particular might take that title. Regardless of where you stand, come back to HNHH for the latest on Lil Wayne and his skate lifestyle.

Drake & J. Cole’s Basketball Skills Rated By Toronto Raptors

Some starts from the Toronto Raptors recently rated Drake and J. Cole’s hooping skills. Moreover, they had to distinguish between the court and the booth, as they’re two dominant MCs. However, their answers as to each rapper’s skills as a basketball player may surprise you.

“[J. Cole is] actually one of the artists that really knows how to play basketball,” expressed Scottie Barnes, winner of the Rookie of the Year award in 2022. While Drake is an official ambassador for the franchise, some acknowledged the Dreamville artist’s skill. After all, he played in various professional leagues over the years and impressed many with his movement.

Meanwhile, guard Fred VanVleet said “[J. Cole] can play a little bit. You know what I mean? Not professionally, obviously. Drake is just old-man YMCA game. He just doesn’t move like a basketball player.”

“J. Cole moving super fluent so I’ma have to go with Cole,” fellow guard Gary Trent Jr. added. Furthermore, he pitted each GOAT contender against each other in a one-on-one for his thought process.

However, when it came to pitting their careers in music against each other, the Toronto Raptors surprised no one. While many gave love to the North Carolina lyricist, the 6 God clearly has a home-court advantage on their playlists.

“Drake’s low-key like the GOAT,” added Rookie of the Year Barnes. “Not low-key, [but] high-key. Whatever he drops is a banger.”

Furthermore, the OVO head honcho’s musical moves made for a stellar 2022 for him. However, J. Cole has refined his hooping chops with a lot of experience over the years. Moreover, he played for some African and Canadian leagues, and Drake helped him get on the Canadian Elite Basketball League. Specifically, he joined the Scarborough Shooting Stars in 2022.

Still, it’s no surprise considering the League’s co-owner, Nicholas “Niko” Carino. Also, he co-founded OVO and is Drizzy’s close friend, who linked up with Cole at Drake’s birthday party in 2021.

“You know, Dreamville and OVO are family,” Carino remarked. “Drake had a birthday party in L.A. last year. The conversation was, ‘I heard you have your team.’ It organically grew from there.”

Still, what do you think of the Toronto Raptors rating Drake and J. Cole’s basketball skills? Whatever the case, let us know in the comments down below. Also, as always, stay tuned to HNHH for more curious crossovers in the worlds of hip-hop and basketball.

Reginae Carter Displays Pole Dancing Skills On Instagram

When a famous celebrity has a child that grows up to be their own person, it’s always great to see that talent passed down. Lil Wayne’s daughter Reginae Carter recently posted a clip of her pole dancing on Instagram. Moreover, she captioned the post with excitement as she danced to Chris Brown’s “Under The Influence.”

“Our first class of the year @pinkpolesstudios,” she wrote in her IG post. “Always so much fun. Imma count this as my first workout as well.”

Moreover, it’s not the first time that she’s shown us how to work that pole. Last time, she also gushed about her new boyfriend and couldn’t stop blushing. With a chair to boot and everything, it seems she’s really putting the work in.

“I am dating someone that I really enjoy spending time with,” she expressed in an interview. When describing her boo, she called him “a gentleman” who she loves being around. However, when talking about their connection, she couldn’t hold back a big smile. “I don’t even want to go on too much.”

Recently, Weezy’s daughter also said she wants people to stop comparing new rappers to him. She took to Twitter to air out her frustrations.

“‘KEEP MY FATHER’S NAME OUT YA MOUTH,’” she wrote, plus two laughing emojis. “Nah fr y’all need to stop comparing my dad to the new kids on the block .. gotta stop ! Everybody is super talented and dope ! Let them have their run and time will tell .. but leave that marathon Wayne ran out of it …”

Still, Weezy’s name isn’t the only thing that people have dragged through the mud. Moreover, DJ Akademiks apologized for recent comments where he called Reginae her boyfriend’s “b***h.”

Even with that measely jab, Reginae might have enough rap skills to start her own career. When asked about her favorite verse from her dad, she spit some b bars from “La La” off of Tha Carter III. Given that the verse is about her, no wonder those lines stuck out to her, as they would to any child of one of the GOATs.

What do you think about Reginae Carter’s pole dancing skills? Whatever the case, let us know in the comments down below. Also, as always, come back to HNHH for the latest talents from the celebrity world.
