The state has responded to Tory Lanez’s latest petition, saying his claim that the gun can’t be tested for DNA because it’s missing is “demonstrably false.” In a declaration caught by reporter Meghann Cuniff on Tuesday, the state of California wrote that Lanez failed to provide “reasonably available documentary evidence” to support his claim.

“His failure to do so is especially troubling because his factual assertion that the firearm, casings, and bullet fragments are ‘missing’ is contradicted by the attached declaration from Martin Preciado, which avers that his query of the computer system for the Los Angeles Police Department (‘LAPD’) shows that LAPD still has custody of the firearm and the firearm’s magazine, as well as the casings and fragments that were booked into evidence,” the filing reads.

The latest update comes after Megan Thee Stallion’s lawyer, Alex Spiro, previously confirmed that the gun and its ammunition magazine are with the Los Angeles Police Department in an interview in October. F*ck you,” he exclaimed. While he didn’t reveal who attempted to take his life, that hasn’t stopped fans from sharing theories on social media.

“Christian combs gotta chill,” one user on X (formerly Twitter) wrote, referencing a recent argument the two had in Los Angeles. Another asked: “Which jobless n***a wanna kill ray j bumb ass.” Others brought up his recent support for Donald Trump. One wrote: “Not Ray J almost being shot at. I’m sending my concepts of thoughts and prayers. He better call Caillou Amber Better yet call the felon-elect. He’s an expert at dodging bullets.”

Ray’s manager, David Weintraub, confirmed the details of the argument to TMZ, revealing that Chris Brown stepped in to break it up. “Nobody is gonna press Ray J. 2Pac’s Alleged Gunman From Quad Studios Shooting Gets Out Of Prison After Nearly 30 Years Behind Bars

Walter “King Tut” Johnson, who 2Pac famously accused of allegedly shooting him at Quad Studios in 1994, has been released from prison after spending 27 years behind bars for unrelated crimes. While he was initially sentenced to life five times over in 1997, the federal judge behind that decision has changed his mind and admitted that the ruling was “excessively harsh.” He was never formally charged with the attack referenced by 2Pac in the original liner notes of his album, The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory, as noted by HipHopDX.

“Judges gain insights that with the passage of time only can come with experience on the bench and their judicial maturation,” Judge Frederic Block wrote in his decision from earlier this month, as caught by The New York Times. “I now believe that my sentences, though lawfully rendered, were excessively harsh.”

Young Dolph’s Murder Trial: Security Footage Of The Shooting Revealed In Court

The three men charged with murder in the killing of Young Dolph, named Hernandez Govan, Justin Johnson, and Cornelius Smith, all began their trial on Monday morning. In court, attorneys revealed security footage from the infamous shooting that left the beloved Memphis rapper dead at the age of 26. In the clip, Dolph stops into Makeda’s Homemade Butter Cookies as a group of gunmen arrive to ambush him from behind.

During the opening statements, Shelby County Assistant District Attorney Paul Hagerman accused the late Big Jook of putting out a $100,000 hit on Dolph. “Big Jook, the person I told you about before, the number two guy at CMG, he’s put out a hit, a hit, $100,000 to whoever kills Dolph,” Hagerman said, as caught by Fox 13′s Jeremy Pierre. “He has met with Justin (Johnson). He has met with Cornelius (Smith) and they think they’re ready to do it.” In addition to the money, Hagerman also claimed Justin Johnson was motivated to become the next big artist for Yo Gotti’s record label, CMG.

Blacc Sam Recalls The Moments Leading Up To Nipsey Hussle’s Death & Shares His Theory On What Happened

Nipsey Hussle’s brother, Blacc Sam, spoke about the late rapper’s death in a rare lengthy interview with Big Boy for his Off Air Series on Friday. In doing so, he reflected on the moments leading up to the shooting and his theory for what was going through the killer’s head. Police charged Eric Holder with the shooting and he was found guilty of first-degree murder and two counts of attempted voluntary manslaughter three years later. Holder is currently serving a 60-year prison sentence.

“Somebody come to the shop, they know we in the doorway,” Sam began. “When Hussle pull up, we in the doorway. You’re gonna see me with a hoodie on and I got a pistol on me. You’re gonna see one of my team members in the hoodie in the doorway with a pistol. That’s protocol when Hussle pull up. So, it’s Sunday. It’s busy in there. Why the n***a in there didn’t follow the protocol? I wasn’t there. Why they didn’t follow it? Maybe they was f*cking around, helping a customer who was doing some f*cking customer service. This is what I’m thinking, trying to transition into some legitimate, just selling clothes. But nobody was in the doorway.” From there, he walked through the steps of the killing and described it as premeditated.

Polo G Breaks Silence On His Mother Shooting At His Sister

June 21, a video surfaced on social media allegedly showing Polo G’s mother, Stacia Mac, shooting a gun at her daughter, Leilani In the viral clip, a gunshot rings off and Stacia is extremely upset as she is marching out of her mansion with what appears to be a gun in her hand. Stacia is yelling, “Get off my s**t. You tough b**ch. You tough b**ch,” while chasing her daughter. Another gunshot rings off and screams from a woman, presumably her daughter, are heard. Stacia then walks back into her home, still visibly upset.

Polo G addressed the video in a new interview with The Breakfast Club, saying that he will always intervene in situations like that because he does not want to see things “go too far.” That prompted jokes from Charlamagne, who pointed out that they were already fighting and shooting at each other. He remarked that since Polo G is from Chicago, his definition of “too far” is different from everyone else’s, which Polo laughed at.

The Incident

Caught on cameras, the child, dressed in a red t-shirt and shorts, allegedly took the gun from Pippens, who was dressed in orange, and then aimed and fired the weapon. In the video, Pippens attempts to retrain the child’s mother (in purple). But as the altercation continues into the streets, the child points the firearm and a single gunshot is heard. Then, Pippens falls to the ground.

Pippens’ Account

Joshua Pippens has spoken out from his hospital bed, asserting that he was not the aggressor in this situation. He claimed that the young boy acted under the influence of his mother. “As y’all can see, I was not the aggressor,” Pippens stated on social media. He explained that the child grabbed the gun from his hip, following his mother’s lead. Despite the incident, Pippens expressed his continued love for the child, lamenting that the boy was only acting based on his mother’s actions.

Custody Dispute

Pippens hinted that the confrontation might have stemmed from a custody dispute over a child the couple shares. New York Rapper Naz GPG Arrested For Alleged Shooting That Struck 4-Year-Old Child

Naz GPG, a rapper from New York, was reportedly arrested by authorities for a shooting that resulted in a four-year-old boy getting shot. Moreover, the specific charges against him are attempted second-degree murder, multiple assault offenses, and weapons possession charges, as well. According to CBS News, the shooting occurred on July 26 shortly after midnight on the Upper West Side. Furthermore, police claimed that a car drove on West 94th Street and Amsterdam Avenue and shot at a residence. A bullet hit the child in the leg while his mother, who was with him, suffered no injuries.

In addition, a video surfaced online on Wednesday (August 9) of the arrest, with officers apprehending Naz. Not only that, but you can hear his sister asking for his girlfriend’s phone number so she could inform her of the situation. Also, she asked for his chain from police, who did not seem conducive to that idea in the clip. From what court documents indicate in relation to the specific charges, the MC pleaded not guilty to all charges he stands accused of.

Naz GPG’s Sister At His Arrest

With bail or bond set at $500,000, this is still a developing story that will surely shape the rapper’s career moving forward. A witness to the alleged crime spoke to the aforementioned news outlet about what they saw, making Naz’s case tougher. “When I got to the door right there, that’s why I heard the mother screaming,” they recalled. “So when I came, I seen the kid right there on the floor. He had blood all over him. So then when I came out, there’s an ambulance standing right over there, so I ran to the ambulance and I told them that I heard some gunshots and there’s a kid on the floor.”

Meanwhile, a man also suffered injuries as a result of this alleged attack, as a bullet grazed his foot. These victims, police believe, are not the targets that Naz intended to harm, and the four-year-old recovered from his injuries in a hospital. Police also clarified that they sought two suspects in this case, and it’s unknown whether they arrested another.
