“Baddies East”: Tee And Scarface Brawl During Go-Karting Outing

A seemingly innocent day out goes horribly awry in this week’s episode of Baddies East. Things get a little tense after the crew rolls up to an indoor go-karting place. Some of the group started pressing Tee as to why she looks so dour. Tee simply responds that she’s not feeling great. However, that’s not enough for some of the group, who keep pressing, asking why she’s giving Rollie the “death stare”. Before you know it, Scarface and Tee are full-on brawling in front of the crew. Be sure to check out the full episode to see where things go from there.

However, Tee has already made her thoughts on the altercation before the episode even dropped. “People talking about how she’s saying that she had to hold back because we can’t fight the way people do on other networks. Okay, but we still fought and we still threw down, b-tch. Like, how can you hold back on a b-tch if you fighting somebody. Yeah I put my bag down because b-tch kept inching closer to me and staring at me the whole time. And now she blaming me, saying I was staring her? Naw b-tch,” Tee said on TikTok.

Tee Calls Scarface “A Follower”

However, Tee wasn’t done shading Scarface on social media. “It’s majority rule. Everything the majority does, this girl does. She’s a follower. Like girl, how come nobody could hear what you were saying to me when you was talking to me in that preview? You weren’t mic’d because nobody gave a f-ck. I wasn’t even talking to you. Why would I talk to you? I don’t even know you. I don’t know you, girl, and you don’t know me. You were standing there next to Rollie tryna put in your two cents for no stupid ass reason…Poor ugly looking thing. What is going on? Like, what is going on here?” Tee said in a longer version of her post-preview TikTok.

Scarface has also weighed in on the altercation. “They didn’t tell us not to fight but I didn’t want to go hard on [her]. There’s no point. Y’all see next week the reason why. But I want y’all to know – can’t nobody make me do sh-t. When I’m in fighting mode, I don’t hear the crowd, I don’t hear nobody. So you can stop with all that Rollie instigating. Rollie can’t make me jump. I jump because I feel like jumpin’,” Scarface said on her own TikTok livestream. Be sure to what the full episode to get the full story.

Willie D created the “Geto Boys” podcast to include the group after gaining notoriety with his own, renowned “Willie D Live” podcast, which garnered hundreds of thousands of views since its launch in 2015. On the most recent episode of the Geto Boys podcast, Willie D confronted the group’s front man, Scarface, for not including him in the performance of “Mind Playing Tricks On Me” during the Grammys’ commemoration of Hi[ Hop’s 50th anniversary.

Willie D stated, “Slighted? I feel beyond slighted. Like what I’m tryna figure out is … First of all, I ask you Wednesday when we left here, I said, ‘What you got for the weekend?’ You said, ‘I’m finna go fuck with this Grammys thing.’ I said, ‘Alright man, safe travels.’ Because, you know, that’s how we do it. Saturday come, I’m online and an article comes across about the Grammys. And I see ‘Geto Boys and Scarface’ in the lineup.”

Scarface replied Willie D, “I can stand on my own two feet with no Geto Boys,” and Willie agreed. Willie then stated, “Remember I’m the one who said, ‘Hey man, you oughta call yourself Scarface.’ So I ain’t gon’ never hate on you. Never. When I see you win, I see Geto Boys win because we are a group.”

Ice Cube Explains Declining “Verzuz” With LL Cool J & Scarface

Ice Cube has undoubtedly made his fair share of hits throughout his decorated career. However, he declined to participate in a Verzuz battle with both LL Cool J and Scarface.

His reason? Because it’s all love on his side.

In a recent appearance on the Bootleg Kev Podcast, Cube explained he has an entirely different concept for the famous battles.

The “No Vaseline” rapper was asked about whether or not he has any desire to compete in a head-to-head hit battle. His answer remains no.

His preferred concept is just for him and his opponent to play each other’s favourite songs of theirs. Of course, this ultra-friendly format isn’t exactly how the Verzuz battles actually go down.

Currently, artists go head-to-head in the popular web series by choosing the best of their own hits. After going back and forth over 20 rounds, the viewers determine the winner on their own terms.

As a result, the N.W.A. star is not interested. “I can’t go against people I admire. LL is an OG to me in the game, so I can’t see it. Me and Scarface love each other, but we don’t communicate enough to do a Verzuz together. I don’t want it to be competition,” says the 53-year-old.

Just last year, the Houston native funnily made similar comments about the possibility of a Verzuz clash against his friend. In an interview with The Breakfast Club, the “Smile” rapper claimed he would beat Cube by playing his favourite “Cube sh*t.”

In other recent news, Ice Cube has dropped his new album as a member of MOUNT WESTMORE. The supergroup finds the Ride Along actor uniting with three other West Coast hip-hop legends – Snoop Dogg, E-40 and Too $hort.

SNOOP CUBE 40 $HORT officially dropped just last night (December 9). The project had been teased since last year.

What do you think of Ice Cube’s proposed format for a Verzuz battle? Comment down below, and check back in with HNHH later for more hip-hop news updates.

Ice Cube Explained Why He Rejected ‘Verzuz’ Offers With LL Cool J And Scarface

Throughout the pandemic (which is still ongoing, despite relaxed safety precautions), the Verzuz battle series has been an uplifting constant. The show, which highlights classic artists and their catalogs, brought hip-hop and R&B fans together when we were still in the house, then gave us a reason to get back out there with its live shows. However, there have been a few names missing from the fun, such as Busta Rhymes and Jay-Z, for whom the show’s producers have had a tough time finding a match, and West Coast gangsta rap pioneer Ice Cube.

That’s not for lack of trying, though. Cube explained why he turned down offers from Verzuz to do battles with both LL Cool J and Scarface during a recent episode of the Bootleg Kev Podcast. According to Ice Cube, “They was talking LL at one point, they was talking Scarface at one point. I said, ‘No.’ Verzuz is good, but my concept would have been, ‘Yo, I’m a fan. You do this song for me.’ Like, okay, I get to have LL do my favorite LL songs and he gon’ have me do my favorite Ice Cube songs, and it’s not Verzuz, but it’s love. It’s like, ‘Yo, do this, and he do ‘Rock the Bells,’ and he asks me, ‘Yo, do ‘Once Upon a Time in the Projects.” That would have been my concept.”

As he put it, “I can’t go against people I admire. LL is an OG to me in the game, so I can’t see it. Me and Scarface love each other, but we don’t communicate enough to do a Verzuz together. I don’t want it to be competition.”

Scarface Announces His Farewell Tour

Houston rap icon Scarface is retiring from the rap business, but not before he takes one last bow. He recently announced his 32-city Farewell Tour, which will take one last spin of the US. Kicking off in Oakland, California on July 8 and running through August 27 in Odessa, Texas, the 51-year-old will give fans a final opportunity to see him live before he rides off into the sunset and sends his jersey into the rafters after almost 40 years.

A likely contributor to Scarface’s impending retirement is his recent bout with COVID-19 and kidney failure. Although he received a new kidney in 2021, it looks like he’s bowing out after his rough ordeal to take a well-earned rest. However, it’s hard to let go, thus: The Farewell Tour. Today In Hip Hop History: Scarface’s Fourth LP ‘The Untouchable’ Turns 25 Years Old!

On this day in Hip-Hop history, Geto Boys frontman and Texas legend Scarface released his fourth solo LP, The Untouchable. Released on Rap-A-Lot Records, this album debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart. It also peaked at #1 on the Top Hip-Hop/R&B and kept its spot for two weeks.

Although Scarface never really strayed away from his staple hardcore “Damn It Feels Good To Be A Gangster” subject matter and style of delivery, it’s apparent this album is influenced by the G-Funk sound made popular by Dr.Dre, Snoop Dogg, and Tha Dogg Pound.

The album’s most popular track “Smile” featuring 2Pac was released shortly after his murder and peaked at #12 on the Billboard Hot 100.
