Baby Tate Adds A Flippant Saweetie Verse To Her Suddenly Viral ‘Hey, Mickey!’ Remix
Baby Tate and Saweetie team up in the colorful video for the remix of Tate’s 2016 single “Hey, Mickey!” The original found Tate lamenting a love interest’s noncommital ways with a twist on Toni Basil’s 1981 hit. After the original went viral on TikTok, Tate tapped Saweetie to add her own flippant verse. Meanwhile, the video, which appears to be set in a Polly Pocket-like miniature universe, sees the two rappers clubbing and taking a plush road trip in the back of a pickup truck.
Baby Tate is a few months removed from the release of her mixtape Mani/Pedi, which featured fellow Atlanta mainstays 2 Chainz and Kali, and contained highlights like “Ain’t No Love” and “S.L.O. (Slut Him Out).” Since the tape’s release, she’s teamed up with R&B legend Babyface on his 11th studio album Girls’ Night Out and clapped back at yet another misogynist diatribe against women rappers — something that’s become a bit of a calling card for her.
Meanwhile, her partner-in-rhyme Saweetie has been plugging away at finishing her debut album Pretty B*tch Music; but in the meantime, Saweetie has made it a point to be as visible and productive as possible. She popped up at Coachella to assist fellow baddie Latto, appeared on That’s My Jam with Will.I.Am to sing a medley of West Coast classics, and headlined her own Super Bowl concert in Roblox.

Saweetie Stuns In Nude Bubble Bath Photos On Instagram
If there’s one rap diva you can always count on to deliver some fire Instagram content, it’s Saweetie. Especially as of late, the California-born lyricist’s feed has been full of glamour shots from her time spent at Coachella and overseas and in Manila. We’ve seen plenty of salacious outfits from her most recent photo dump, but on Monday (May 8), she shared her most stripped-down carousel in recent memory, posing nude in a bubble bath while adorned in various colourful jewels.
“Soochie,” Saweetie wrote in her caption. She began with a subtle close-up of her face, which was looking dramatically glamorous thanks to a smokey eye. The next snap zooms out to reveal her location – relaxing in the tub, obviously sitting very high up in the sky. While the bubbles shield the “Best Friend” hitmaker’s curvaceous figure, her fingers peak over the edge of the tub, revealing massive silver and green rings on nearly all of them.

Saweetie Compares Herself to Scarface
Midway through her latest IG upload, we see Saweetie turn her back to the camera, elegantly holding a glass of wine while admiring the beautiful view outside the window in front of her. The next selection shows Al Pacino in Scarface, also enjoying a bubble bath in one of the classic film’s most iconic scenes. “Who do I trust? Me,” the actor says in character as Tony Montana after a major blowout with his wife and best friend. The Grammy-nominated starlet hasn’t been in the news for any drama lately, so it seems unlikely that she’s shading anyone.
What the 29-year-old has been making headlines for, however, is the possibility of a relationship with fellow west coast rapper YG. According to reports, he gives her a monthly allowance to satisfy her shopping habit, and they were reportedly spotted at Coachella weekend one together before her recent trip to the Philippines. Saweetie Displays Her Curves In New Bikini Shots
With summer ahead, vacation photo dumps are beginning to roll out with the hot weather approaching. The Icy girl herself has taken time to herself to enjoy the hot sun. Saweetie has been enjoying the hot sun while enjoying tropical views in her latest photos. The 29-Year Old Rapper graces Instagram showing off her toned body in a series of Instagram threads. Additionally, her latest post captioned “Doin the most saying the least” ending with a smiley emoji tells all. The posts show her sitting with her back turned showing off her Gucci thong bathing suit along with her short flattering haircut while she overlooks beautiful views.
Although she Is on vacation she is even closer to her home than it may seem. Her tropical vacation is taking place in El Nido, Palawan located in the Philippines. Saweetie’s ethnic background includes Filipino and Chinese alongside an African American father. Saweetie has opened up about her heritage numerous times in interviews and songs. In her 2018 extended play, “High Maintenance,” Saweetie talks about her mother being Filipino.” And that’s the word to my mother she the Filipino queen and she hella high maintenance ima give her what she needs,” she said. Saweetie has also spoken about the pride she takes in her heritage. In 2021, she interviewed with The Asian Journal and described her upbringing as being part Filipino. “I remember my mom telling me that it’s important for me to share my heritage, to share my culture,” she said.”So anytime that it makes sense, I do let people know that I am half-Filipina,” she added.

If Saweetie has heard the haters poking fun at her FIBA World Cup performance online, she certainly isn’t letting them get her down. Last week, the Icy Girl took to the stage at the international basketball event in the Philippines, performing a majorette-inspired version of her hit single, “Tap In.” In a video posted to her Instagram page, she revealed what the choreography looked like in rehearsal, comparing that to how things went on stage. While she undeniably gave it her best, some internet trolls pointed out that her skin-tight costume appeared to be causing some problems.
As the unwarranted opinions about her outfit and body continued to pour in, the California native pulled on another curve-hugging fashion statement before heading out for a fun night with friends in Manila. “Ready to play 
,” she wrote in her caption, kicking off the carousel with a snapshot of the rap diva checking out her glamorous appearance in the mirror. For her FIBA show, Saweetie had long, brown hair flowing down her body, though she later changed that up in favour of a mint green wig styled with bangs and adorable buns on either side of her head.
Saweetie Shows Off Her Curves in Manila
In the subsequent selections, we see the Grammy-nominated lyricist showing off her bodacious behind in a black leather mini-skirt, notably looking back at the camera from above. Though she didn’t have a set of her own at the California festival, the Icy Girl did join Latto on stage for her set during weekend one, which also saw her posing for photos with Ice Spice. After a brief stint in the desert, she caught a flight to the Phillippines recently, just in time to entertain audiences at the international basketball competition. During her performance, Saweetie showed off some noteworthy choreography that’s had the internet talking about her non-stop.

Jeeter, the well-known cannabis lifestyle brand known for its outstanding customer service and best-selling pre-rolls, teamed up with Dwyane Wade, a Jeeter board member and close friend of the company’s executive team, to host “High Dining,” a star-studded 420 event, in Beverly Hills on April 20.
The innovative dinner experience welcomed illustrious guests like Saweetie, Gabrielle Union, Rose Bertram, Roget, Pearl Thusi, Karreuche, Dj Ruckus, and Seth Green. It paired five dishes with some of Jeeter’s premium strains like a sommelier would pair wine. The event, which Dwyane Wade and Jeeter hosted, included a private comedy presentation by Jay Pharoah. With an amazing drone show featuring Wade’s #3 jersey, Jeeter thanks basketball legend Dwyane Wade for co-hosting the event.
The lavish celebration is the first of several 4/20 celebrations that the company hopes to hold, adding to the already remarkable customer experiences offered by Jeeter, including their merchandise, pop-up Jeeter Marts, and the equally star-studded Jeeter Day.

Saweetie Set to Headline FIBA Basketball World Cup Concert
In case you didn’t know, Oakland rapper Saweetie is 1/4th Filipina. Though she has never been there before, she gets the opportunity to visit the Philippines this weekend. The “So Icy” rapper is the headliner for a concert in Manila, the capital of the Philippines. The reason for the concert is the FIBA Basketball World Cup Draw
At the Draw, FIBA will announce players for all 32 teams for the upcoming competition. The FIBA Basketball World Cup will embark on a new path as the tournament will be across three countries. Along with the Philippines, Indonesia, and Japan will also host the event. The last FIBA Basketball World Cup was held in China, and the last time the Philippines hosted the FIBA Basketball World Cup was 1978.
This year’s event will happen at the Araneta Coliseum. Besides Saweetie hitting the stage, fans also get to see hometown favorites perform, such as Sarah Geronimo and Billy Crawford.
