Saucy Santana Remains Unapologetic After Beyonce Tweets Resurface, Calls Critics “Fake Woke Ass B*tches”

Saucy Santana Calls Out Joe Budden Over "Walk" Single

Saucy Santana is having a meteoric rise to fame. He recently collaborated with Latto on his latest song “Booty.” Shortly thereafter a string of tweets from 2014 in which he insulted Beyoncé and her daughter Blue Ivy resurfaced.

In the tweets, Santana called Blue Ivy “nappy headed,” said Beyonce looked “dry” when she was pregnant with Blue, and compared Blue to Kim and Kanye’s daughter North.

Shortly after the tweets resurfaced, many called for Santana to apologize during his Summer Jam appearance, and before his show in Houston, noting that the Beyhive fan base in Houston would figuratively tear him apart.

However, Santana doubled down on his comments, instead of lashing out on cancel culture and the fascination with bringing up old tweets.

“Fake woke ass bitches!!!!” Santana tweeted. “People don’t care about old tweets. The internet have this weird thing with power! Thinking they have the power to cancel someone… NEWS FLASH! You don’t! Y’all be thinking y’all have someone by the balls about situations you don’t give a damn about.”

In another tweet, he added “Celebrities are human. Not robots and they for damn sure ain’t perfect. I still talk about a bitch like a doggggggg til this day. Not publicly because my opinion matters to a lot of ppl now. I be Chillin. I don’t even insert myself in shit that don’t involve me.”

He went on to say how people who try to ruin celebrities’ careers are “miserable” and “broke” and wondered why he is being scolded for tweets he wrote when he was 20.

“Stop all that cap! Tryna ruin ppl Careers cuz you at home miserable and broke. I was miserable and broke too making childish, hateful tweets in 2014. Im 28 years old. A grown ass adult. A completely different mindset on life from when I was 20. But, yall knew dat.”

In his final tweet, Santana said that he would not apologize to the fans, because he feel as if he did not offend them and the tweets were not directed towards them.

“It be the people in the comments… tryna force you to apologize or say sorry. To who?! To y’all?! If I did something to offend someone I should I apologize to them!!!! Not u bitches. Told y’all y’all think got power over ppl. But, go head.”

Saucy Santana And Latto Release An Ode To ‘Booty’ In Their New Single

Saucy Santana is back again, tagging Latto for the highly anticipated “Booty” record. “Booty” was a song he had been teasing for weeks and sent social media into a frenzy upon realizing he used a sample of Beyonce’s “Crazy In Love,” a major look for a young artist. The artist played coy about any future work together in his recent Paper Magazine interview, further drawing the intrigue of the internet. The song is finally here, and it delivered on the energy conveyed in the snippet.

This collaboration comes on the heels of Saucy Santana being one of the opening acts for Latto’s Monster Energy Outbreak Tour. “Booty” isn’t their first music collaboration either, coming together in 2020 for “Up & Down” off Pretty Little Gangsta. Latto is riding the wave of her latest album 777, headlined by singles “Big Energy” and “Wheelie” featuring 21 Savage. Days after 777 was released, the Ohio rapper celebrated a huge milestone in adding Mariah Carey and DJ Khaled to the “Big Energy” remix. She recently joined Ella Mai on “Didn’t Say” from Heart On My Sleeve and Neiked and Anne-Marie on “I Just Called.”

A Preview Of Saucy Santana’s Beyonce-Sampling New Single ‘Booty’ Is Already Being Called The Song Of The Summer

The summer may very well belong to Saucy Santana if his new single lives up to the high expectations fans have set for it. Santana, who only started rapping professionally in 2019 after working as a makeup artist for City Girls, has already seen his star rise tremendously as a result of TikTok-favorite singles like “Walk,” “Material Girl,” and “Shisha,” but his next single, “Booty,” has the potential to be his biggest yet for three reasons.

Reason number one: Santana teased the single on TikTok and Twitter just hours ago, and he’s already trending, with fans calling “Booty” the song of the summer despite only having 15 seconds to go on. That’s influence, people.

Reason number two: Booty samples one of the biggest hits in one of the most storied discographies in the recording industry. It’s not subtle either; the sample of Beyonce’s breakthrough solo single “Crazy In Love” blares out of an unseen speaker in Santana’s teaser as he twerks and pops to the particularly sticky hook.

Reason number three: There’s a mystery guest, and Santana is at that stage in his career where it could be someone huge. His hiding the name makes it all the more likely since it implies it’s someone he hasn’t worked with already, who you might not expect him to work with, but who will totally make sense when you find out who it is. There’s also that collaboration that Lil Nas X teased a few months ago…

For now, we’ll have to stick with guessing but if Santana’s dropping teasers, the answer can’t be too far around the corner. Check out the snippet above and the reactions below, and get ready for a Santana summer.

Summer Walker Announces Her ‘A Hot Summer Night In LA’ Show With Jazmine Sullivan, Ari Lennox, And More

June 24 is going to be a hot summer night in LA — both literally (likely) and figuratively (almost assuredly). A Hot Summer Night In LA is the name of Summer Walker‘s headlining concert at the Staples Ce-fine, Crypto.com Arena (yuck), which will feature a slew of special guests including Jazmine Sullivan, Ari Lennox, Saucy Santana, Joyce Wrice, Doechii, and Alex Vaughn. Ladies, leave your man at home. The show is billed as part of BET Awards weekend, with a special pre-sale for Summer Walker fans today through May 5 at 10 pm PT. The general sale starts on Friday at 10 am.

The show will be something of a coronation for Ms. Walker, who released her new album Still Over It last November to a truly impressive reception. It became the first album by a female R&B singer to reach No. 1 on the Billboard 200 since 2016 (following Solange’s A Seat At The Table) and signified that R&B’s mainstream comeback is no passing fancy. A Hot Summer Night In LA is sure to keep that energy going with a lineup consisting mainly of R&B-singing women backed by rappers who bring boss-bitch energy.

The notoriously spotlight-shy Walker followed up with a slew of performances running through spring, including this week’s Broccoli City Festival in DC and the just passed, female-fronted Sol Blume Festival in Sacramento (see photos here).

Saucy Santana Doubles Down Against Negative Comments Regarding His RCA Commitment

Saucy Santana Calls Out Joe Budden Over "Walk" Single

Congratulations are in order for Saucy Santana! The 28-year-old rapper has recently signed a mojo label deal with RCA records. Saucy Santana, otherwise known as Santana, is known for his hilarious persona on social media and hits such as Walk Em Like A Dog, Material Girl, and Walk.

The Material Gworl himself announced the news in a recent interview with The Breakfast Club. “I feel like that was the only thing that was stopping me, kind of,” Sanatana begin. “I feel like I didn’t have that complete backing with a major label. I put in a lot of work, I worked really hard being an independent artist. But I feel like now, with that major backing, I can clear certain samples, I could get this radio sh*t going, I can get these bigger artists. It’s up.”

Sanatana also explained why he chose RCA records over other major labels, as he feels the music label respects his creativity in his projects. “When it comes down to TikTok dances, it’s me. When it comes down to videos, I’m telling them how I want my videos,” he stated.  “I let them know that I need somebody that understands Santana, but wants to help elevate and push Santana to the forefront.”

After the announcement circulated the internet, some were happy for Sanatana, while others tried to get the once makeup artist to rethink his deal. “Everybody talking shit about RCA! Look at Latto, Doja Cat & SZA and many more I didn’t mention! #NuffSaid” he stated.

We are excited to see what Santana and his influence will bring to the music industry. Check out Santana’s interview with The Breakfast Club below.

Saucy Santana Thwarts Charlamagne The God’s Attempt To Clown A Co-Worker’s Interest In The Rapper

Saucy Santana is enjoying some high moments in his career at the moment. He recently joined Latto on a stop in Atlanta during her Monster Energy Outbreak tour which came a few months after he released his most recent project Keep It Playa. That effort delivered 16 songs with contributions from City Girls, Kali, Beatt King, and Rubi Rose. More recently, Saucy announced that he signed a record deal with RCA which further proves that the trajectory of his career is on an upward climb. Saucy shared the news during a recent appearance on The Breakfast Club, and it’s here that an awkward moment also took place.

During the live broadcast of The Breakfast Club, Charlamagne Tha God invited one of his co-workers on the show to step into the room to meet Saucy. It’s here that Charlamagne revealed that the individual “really enjoys your twerk videos.” Saucy clearly did not expect things to pan out as they did. “You buggin’ the f*ck out,” Saucy said to Charlamagne who replied, “I’m not lying. I’m dead serious… He actually said to the room, ‘Y’all don’t be watching Saucy Santana twerk videos?”

Saucy asked the worker if they enjoyed and they replied, “It’s entertainment. I thought it was funny.” Despite the awkward energy in the room, Saucy was able to use the interaction to make a point about his career. “That’s what I love about me,” Saucy later said. “Now I’m at a place in my career where n****s ain’t scared to be like, ‘Yo, I f*ck with the music’ or ‘I f*ck with the vibe,’ or just anything. You could be a straight n**** but you f*ck [with it].”

He continued, “That’s one thing I take pride in. I feel like a hit is undeniable, music is undeniable, star quality [and] star power are undeniable. So regardless if you’re a man, woman, white, Puerto Rican, polka dot: if it’s enjoyable and you f*ck with it, then you f*ck with it.”

You can watch the moment between Saucy, Charlamagne, and The Breakfast Club worker in the video above.
