Erica Mena Alleges That Safaree “Violated Her Body” In Scathing IG Rant

Erica Mena and Safaree have turned up the heat throughout the week. The Love & Hip Hop stars have always been ready to go when it comes to public spats. The allegations that have been made, however, and the dirty laundry that has been shared, reached a whole new level on October 16. Safaree posted a compilation of security footage in which Mena physically assaulted him. The internet was horrified, and then Erica Mena fired back with a scathing Instagram rant. She leveled serious allegations at Safaree in return.

Erica Mena alleged that all of the footage Safaree posted of her was from 2023. She also stated that one of the instances in which she was seen hitting him was not given proper context. The reality star alleged that Safaree had “violated her body” shortly before the footage was captured, and she felt as though she was defending herself. “The one of me being in raged [sic] was because he violated my body. I wanted answers on why he would put my health in jeopardy but he’s not admitting that part.” Erica Mena had a ton more to say on the matter. She alleged that Safaree dropped the restraining order he got against her because he wanted to get back together.

The Love & Hip Hop star wrote that Safaree got on his knees and “begged” to get back together. She alleged that their kids bore witness to this. It’s worth noting that some of the footage Safaree provided saw Mena strike him with their kids present. Erica Mena provided specific dates in which Safaree came and allegedly asked to get back together. She also accused the producer of gaslighting her and making her feel as though she’s the issue. Interestingly, enough, Mena brought the rant back to the topic that started the conflict in the first place: child support.

Safaree requested that his child support payments be lowered due to his diminished income. Erica Mena took the producer to task for this request. She alleged that Safaree has gone months without paying his child support. The reality star also alleged that she had to get the department of child support to literally take the money from Safaree’s account. Erica Mena concluded her multi-part rant by attacking Safaree’s parenting. She castigated him for being an absentee father. She also criticized him for leaking footage that will cause “trauma” to both her and their children.

Safaree Gets Attacked By Erica Mena In Shocking Home Security Footage

Safaree Samuels and Erica Mena have never had the smoothest relationship. The Love & Hip Hop stars have made drama part of their brand for years. The drama, however, has gotten increasingly serious in the past few weeks. Safaree shocked social media followers when he leaked security footage in which Mena gets physically violent with him. The security footage was cobbled together from different times, and one of the incidents appears to have taken place in front of their children.

The footage shows Erica Mena shoving Safaree and breaking property inside their home. The latter felt that he needed to share the footage in order to properly illustrate to the public what he’s been dealing with. “I have to put myself first,” he told his followers. “Because I’m either gonna end up in jail or worse because Im dealing with someone who’s anger management is nonexistent.” Safaree also turned some of the blame on himself. He claimed he should have been more aware of Erica Mena’s anger issues well before they started a family together. “When you have children with someone,” he explained. “I should have just noticed certain things when it came to parenting.”

The latest spat between Safaree and Erica Mena stemmed from child support payments. Safaree send Mena a request to get his monthly payments lowered from $4K. The producer also demanded that Mena help to pay off some of his legal fees. He argued that he makes less money than he did when the initial child support amount was agreed upon. Furthermore, Safaree claimed that he watched his children an estimated 3-4 weeks at a time instead of the prescribed 12 days. Erica Mena did not take to this request positively.

The Love & Hip Hop star proceeded to drag Safaree for trying to lower his monthly payments. She also posted a calendar that allegedly showed the amount of days that Safaree had spent with their children in the past year. Mena posits that the number is significantly lower that the producer suggested. “Imagine trying to detect CS from your BM,” she wrote in a since deleted IG post. “When that’s they get from you since he skips out on birthdays and Christmas by choice… You only seen your kids 16 times this whole year so far.” Mena has yet to respond to the leaked security footage.

Nicki Minaj Appears To Put Safaree On Blast After His “Pink Friday 2 World Tour” Appearance

Nicki Minaj seemingly responded to Safaree’s recent post about attending her Prink Friday 2 World Tour stop in Miami with a message on StationHead of her own. Her ex-boyfriend had posted about being proud of Minaj and holding “no malice” towards her.

“When you’re at peace and when you’re happy, so many things will start coming, you know to try to steal your joy and to steal your peace you know,” she began, as caught by AllHipHop. “Please don’t let it.” In a follow-up post, she added: “Y’all karma is about to be bad if you’ve been disrespecting Nicki and the Barbz. However, it’s going to get even worse, so please leave us alone. When people aren’t happy, they go out of their way, you see. Literally and figuratively they go out of their way, where someone who’s minding their business being at peace…”

As for Safaree’s original post, he wrote on X (formerly Twitter): “I’m proud no cap… a lot of yalll will never understand but there is no malice in me… I’m proud.” He had been in attendance at the concert when Minaj brought out her current husband, Kenneth Petty. In doing so, she danced on him while performing “Super Freaky Girl.” In another post, Safaree wrote: “Was by the bar at the concert when Roman’s revenge came on I dropped my drink screamed and ran back inside screaming my lungs out lmaooooo it all happened to fast tho nobody caught me at that part [laughing emojis]. I was soooo excited. Im sorry im not mad guys sheesh we all allowed to have fun. Ok bye.”

Nicki Minaj’s Sister Reacts To Safaree Having A Ball At Her Concert

Safaree made a controversial maneuver this past weekend by popping out to support Nicki Minaj. She is currently in the midst of her Gag City Reloaded portion of the extensive Pink Friday 2 tour. Video of her ex surfaced online, and it went viral. The artist and TV personality was having the time of his life dancing to the Queen of New York’s hits. He even voiced his love for Nicki on X (Twitter), saying, “I’m proud no cap… a lot of yalll will never understand but there is no malice in me… I’m proud.” The former partners had a pretty nasty and tumultuous fall out, especially after the breakup.

But it seems like Safaree is trying to turn a new leaf. He did recently say he’s trying to live life in a new lense, as he expressed that, “I want to start giving back more.” As we hinted earlier, fans, especially of Nicki’s, were pretty upset/annoyed with the co-producer. However, there was also quite a nice number of people that were happy that Safaree was happy. “Some people can’t even get that level of support from phony family members. I’m here for it Life is too short to be a pressed hater,” one IG user stated.

Now, Minaj’s sister, Ming Li, is weighing in on the situation, according to Live Bitez. Li hopped on what appears to be an Instagram Live session while at a salon. She answered some random questions, while even speaking on her new dog that she’s naming after her talented sis. Shoving that to the side, though, Li gave her two cents on Safaree showing up, and all she could really do was giggle about it. “Safaree was cuttin’ up yesterday, hell yeah he was [tee-hees]. I saw that. That s*** was funny [tee-hees].” She seems to not have a problem with it overall, and neither did Nicki on Sunday because she brought out her current boo Kenneth Petty during the performance.

Nicki Minaj Brings Out Kenneth Petty During Miami Concert With Safaree In Attendance

Nicki Minaj brought out her husband, Kenny Petty, during her concert in Miami, over the weekend. She danced in front of him as she performed her hit song, “Super Freaky Girl.” Her ex, Safaree, was in attendance at the show, prompting plenty of attention on social media. The two were one of hip-hop’s most notable couples when they dated from 2003 to 2014.

Regardless of Petty’s appearance, Safaree still enjoyed himself at the show. He wrote in a post on X (formerly Twitter) afterward: “I’m proud no cap… a lot of yalll will never understand but there is no malice in me… I’m proud.” In the replies to the post, fans sent him the video of Petty on stage while others doubted the sincerity of his words.

In response to Safaree’s post, one fan of Minaj wrote: “No MALICE? You went on a whole press tour spreading lies about you writing for her, disrespected her every chance you got… what you’re doing is staIk-ish and obsessive, but I get it. like imagine fumbling a woman like this?” Another added: “If there’s no malice in you then publicly tell these folks once and for all that you ain’t never wrote no nicki minaj bars. That was a low blow bc you know how much that means to nicki, and her haters continue drag that lie on to this day!”

Safaree Thoroughly Enjoys Himself At Nicki Minaj’s Concert

Safaree and Nicki Minaj spent a lot of time together. In fact, it was a 12-year relationship that saw a lots of ups and downs, especially toward the end. There were some moments of reconciliation and there were others that displayed utter nastiness. Sometimes it got straight up concerning, as it was reported by TMZ 2014 that Safaree was experiencing su*cidal thoughts following the breakup. The drama and turmoil didn’t stop there though for the rapper and TV star as his partnership with Erica Mena has seen its own fair share of issues. They aren’t together anymore, and they have constantly gone back and forth since splitting 2021.

Mena has been extremely critical, putting him on blast for not showing enough love and support for their kids. But despite all of these shortcomings and dilemmas, Safaree is trying his best to make up for it. In fact, he recently said that he’s living with a new purpose. “I want to start giving back more, and uh, I don’t why lately. [Maybe] this trip is just making me see things different [but] I have to do it. So if you’re somebody who know me, link me up if you want to help in any way.” However, –at least in this case– this has nothing to do with Mena.

However, he didn’t just stand in the crowd, he was having an absolute ball. As you can see in the video from The Neighborhood Talk above, he’s dancing and just enjoying himself thoroughly. On top of this, Safaree tweeted out in response to the clip making the rounds online. “I’m proud no cap… a lot of yalll will never understand but there is no malice in me… I’m proud.” This has led to some mixed reactions from the internet, with the Barbz especially showing no remorse for their queen’s ex. However, some were just simply happy to see him happy.

Erica Mena Calls Safaree A Deadbeat Following His Nicki Minaj-Meek Mill Revelation

Erica Mena and Safaree do not have a great relationship right now. Overall, the last couple of years has seen their partnership become strained and tumultuous. They are no longer together and while they do co-parent their two kids, Mena does not seem to be all that amused with the job Safaree is doing. As we reported yesterday, Mena went on a rant against Safaree. This was all in retaliation to Safaree’s comments about how Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill’s relationship put him in a dark place.

In yesterday’s post, Mena claimed that Safaree cares more about chasing clout off Nicki then actually paying attention to his own kids. Throughout her most recent rant, Mena went off on the father of her children, even more. Based on her comments below, it is very clear that she has had enough of him. As you can see, she claims that Safaree rarely ever engages with his children. When he does, he allegedly only does so for a photo opp. Furthermore, she said that he is “sloppy and cheap” especially as it pertains to how he dresses them.

Mena also accused Safaree of focusing on himself too much, and attempting to look like a “bad bitch.” It was all very scathing, and it’s clear that Mena has been feeling this way for a very long time. Erica Mena and Safaree’s relationship has been tumultuous to say the least. Overall, the two are no longer together, despite having two children. Ultimately, their relationship played out on shows like Love & Hip-Hop. This isn’t always conducive to a healthy relationship, all things considered. However, there is no doubt that these two will oftentimes quarrel on social media, for everyone to see. Sometimes, these quarrels are a bit one-sided with one party getting in their feelings.

Recently, in an interview, Safaree spoke about his infamous relationship with Nicki Minaj. During the interview, he noted that the years following their breakup were tough. Some people didn’t want to be around him, and overall, it was just a dark time. However, it doesn’t seem like Mena has any sympathy for her ex. In fact, she took to Instagram and unleashed some venom on Safaree. Essentially, she feels as though his behavior is embarrassing.
