JT of the City Girls is officially the owner of a brand new Rolls Royce Cullinan. For her 30th birthday gift, her boyfriend Lil Uzi Vert delivered the new ride equipped with a giant red bow.
The new all-Black SUV hit social media as it was unveiled to the rap queen during her birthday party.
Hitting Twitter, JT let off a simple message in appreciation: “Uzi the goat.”
What better way to celebrate your birthday than dropping a mil on yourself? That’s exactly what Yo Gotti did. The Memphis legend and CMG leader hit Instagram to show he is celebrating hitting 41-years-old by dropping $1.2 million on two Rolls Royce cars as a birthday gift to himself. Gotti has made it a tradition to spend over a million dollars on costly and luxurious birthday gifts each year.
On his 40th birthday in 2021, Gotti splurged and purchased himself two iced-out Richard Mille watches worth $1.1 million. To commemorate his 39th year around the sun, Gotti spent $1.3 million on a turquoise Rolls Royce Truck ($480,000), a turquoise Ferrari F8 ($400,000), a turquoise Lamborghini ($290,000), and a matching turquoise Richard Mille watch priced at $180,000.
On Friday, July 15, 2022, the CMG mogul is putting together an all-star ensemble of friends and partners to perform at the 8th version of his “Birthday Bash” party at FedEx Forum in Memphis, Tennessee. Tickets are available at Ticketmaster.com in your area. Megan Thee Stallion, Lil Baby, Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, Meek Mill, Rick Ross, T.I., City Girls, Jeezy, Monica, Gucci Mane, Polo G, and others have all performed with the Memphis native in the past.
Young Thug’s new album Punk drops in just a few hours after months of hyping the project’s fitting, against-the-grain nature. With Thug teasing the new music pretty much everywhere he’s gone, from Paris Fashion Week to Lyft rides from the studio, it’s been clear that he’s taking a non-traditional approach to promoting the project, just like a real punk should. At the album release party in Hollywood earlier this week, the Atlanta trap mad scientist doubled down by doing something completely unexpected: Smashing up a brand-new car with baseball bats. After all, what could be more punk than that?
Video of the celebration hit the internet a day later, catching Young Thug, Gunna, and Metro Boomin swinging baseball bats at the Rolls-Royce’s windows, which were spray-painted with the word “Punk.” Smashing up the luxury car seemed to be their way of embracing punk’s anti-capitalistic philosophy, but some fans didn’t see it that way, with a few pointing out that there would be better uses for the money that went into purchasing the car for the sole purpose of destruction.
The price of that destroyed rolls Royce could’ve fed a whole poor African village or saved someone somewhere. It could’ve been donated to charity. When people say they grew out of poverty and hunger then do shit like that it just makes me sick.
I just want my student loans paid off and they destroying a Rolls Royce

I’ve been saving since the start of the year and these guys just destroyed a $300k+ car right then and there… wow talk about being told that you’re broke. pic.twitter.com/x8a0lFXLrg
Why these rappers still think people wanna see them flexing their wealth. Like this is just disrespectful at this point give scholarships to promote your album, build a damn library in marginalized neighborhood. Gave book to schools https://t.co/6LkdJ3Hu0R
However, the video seems to have done its job: Getting people talking about Young Thug and his upcoming album, so… mission accomplished. Wasteful or not, the video’s release ensures that fans know his album’s dropping — which means for Thug, it was well worth the expense.
Punk is out tonight at midnight ET via Atlantic and YSL.

Though it hasn’t been officially confirmed that Rolls Royce’s latest insanely expensive car was commissioned for Mr. and Mrs. Carter — aka Beyonce and Jay-Z — all signs point to the Carters. Partnering with the custom builder Coachbuild, the new Rolls Royce Boat Tail reportedly retails for around $28 million, making it one of the most expensive cars on the market.
According to the Rolls Royce website detailing the car’s custom features: “A double refrigerator houses the clients’ favorite vintages of Armand de Brignac champagne. Bottles can be rapidly cooled to precisely six degrees — the optimum serving temperature of the preferred vintage.” Of course, Jay-Z only recently sold his fifty percent stake in Armand de Brignac, back in February, to Moët Hennessy.
Other features of the car’s back deck include a parasol and picnic set, alongside the double refrigerators, and gossip sites like Page Six point to the Boat Tail’s blue color as another sign that the commissioners were Bey and Jay. I mean, considering they love the color so much that it’s their daughters name, it’s a pretty solid bet. The other fascinating bespoke feature in the car? A pair of Bovet 1822 timepieces that are two-sided, one for the lady and for a gentleman, which can be used in the car as clocks or worn. Check out more details of the rather magnificent car here.
