Lil Uzi Vert works hard and spends big. From custom six-figure handbags to lavish gifts for their partner JT, the “Endless Fashion” rapper doesn’t mind flaunting their lavish lifestyle. However, a new lawsuit alleged that Lil Uzi Vert doesn’t always clear their debts.

According to Billboard, on June 13, touring production company, M99 Studios, filed a lawsuit in Georgia, which accused Lil Uzi Vert (real name Symere Bysil Woods) of skipping out on $533,499 in unpaid bills.

Lawyers for the company claim to have worked with Uzi throughout the years to ensure their “creative ideas, production, and staffing for all tours, shows and performances” were met, including their sets at Rolling Loud Miami and Roots Picnic.

In the filing, M99 alleged that on multiple occasions Uzi fell behind on billing, which left the company to make up for the “financial shortcomings.”

“While [Uzi’s] account would work from time-to-time,” the company wrote. “[Uzi’s] credit card would frequently be declined while on tour, making it impossible for M99 to ensure the safety and well-being of the crew without covering the expenses itself. Despite its numerous requests for payment of the outstanding invoices, at no point have [Uzi] compensated M99 for the services it provided.”

M99 Studios has requested that the courts enter a judgment against Lil Uzi Vert to cover the balance owed. Lil Uzi Vert has not released a public statement regarding the lawsuit.

Additionally, it will be a special show, marking the tenth anniversary of the festival.

Here’s what to know about when the event is taking place and how to get tickets.

Cardi B Joins Offset During Rolling Loud Miami Performance

Offset brought out Cardi B during his Rolling Loud performance in Miami on Sunday night. The Migos rapper welcomed his wife to the stage to perform their collaborative hit, “Motorsport,” among other songs.

Fans on social media were stoked to see the appearance. When Rolling Loud posted the clip on Twitter, plenty of users shared fire emojis and other praise for the rapper. Some, on the other hand, trolled her by bringing up Nicki Minaj.

The Rolling Loud performance comes after a recent rift in Cardi B and Offset’s relationship. Offset accused Cardi of cheating on social media, last month, which she vehemently denied. Responding to the accusation, she shared a video of herself listening to Keyshia Cole’s “I Should Have Cheated.”

“First of all, let me say, you can’t accuse me of all the things you know that you are guilty of,” she began. “Sing it with me, y’all! And I see that it is easy for you to blame everything on me. Yes, honey!” She added: “Come on, now. I’m Cardi B, n***a. I think sometimes motherfuckers forget I’m Cardi B,” she said. “If I was giving this pussy to anybody, it would be out. I’m not just anybody. Can’t fuck no regular degular shmegular ’cause they gonna tell the world. And I can’t fuck nobody in the industry ’cause they gonna tell too.”

Cardi B Joins Offset On Stage

It’s not the first time either of the two have joined each other on stage. During Cardi’s performance at Power 99’s Powerhouse concert in Philadelphia in 2017, Offset surprised her with a proposal on stage. He also later surprised her during a Rolling Loud set in 2018 to make amends during a rift in their relationship. Check out Cardi’s latest Rolling Loud appearance above.

ASAP Rocky Premiered A Song At Rolling Loud Miami And Some Are Convinced It’s A Shot At Travis Scott

Travis Scott headlined Rolling Loud Miami on Saturday, July 22, and ASAP Rocky handled headlining duties on Sunday, July 23. Scott seemingly revealed the release date of his Utopia album to be July 28, but people are more concerned with what Rocky appeared to do when premiering an unreleased song.

As captured by The Shade Room, Rocky rapped, “First you stole my flow / So I stole your b*tch / Then you stole my style / I need at least 10 percent / All due disrespect, I hope you take offense.”

Some social media users were quick to associate these lyrics with Rocky’s perceived beef with Scott, as you can see below:

In May 2022, Drink Champs questioned Rocky about Scott stealing his style. “You can’t feed into petty sh*t like that, you know what I’m sayin’?” he said. “At this point, that sh*t is trash at this point.” However, Rocky admitted that, in the past, he “saw similarities, for sure. I saw that he was inspired and sh*t like that, but that’s what we in it for.”

Then, there’s the Rihanna matter. Rihanna and Rocky share one child together with another on the way — and they may or may not be headed toward marriage — while Scott was rumored to be with Rihanna in 2015, though neither party publicly commented on the alleged relationship (as chronicled by Insider).

Latto’s Rolling Loud Miami Set Included Plenty Of Booty Shaking & A Thrown Phone: Watch

Rolling Loud is a festival that’s been known to bring with it plenty of chaos, however, the 2023 Miami edition was far less dramatic than usual. Rather, the event focused on debuting new music from some of our favourite artists, including Playboi Carti and ASAP Rocky. While the men of rap definitely held things down, several of our favourite female lyricists made waves too, including Ice Spice and Latto. The former reportedly shaded the latter on her Like..? (Deluxe) EP earlier in the weekend, but the Queen of Da Souf didn’t seem too bothered by the diss during her set.

Instead, Latto kept her focus on entertaining her fans – not only with her biggest hits like “Put It On Da Floor” and “It’s Givin’,” but also with her bootylicious dance moves. Virtually every song on her setlist saw the 777 hitmaker throwing it back, including her viral TikTok, “thank you to my man” sound that she turned into a fun little track, perfect for twerking up a storm.

Latto Brings Her Viral TikTok Sound to the Stage

It was mostly all smiles for Latto during her time on stage this weekend, but unfortunately, one festival patron tried to ruin that. Despite her previous threats made toward the last person who threw a phone on stage, someone in the crowd was feeling brave enough to try their luck.

The disdain on the Atlanta-based hitmaker’s face was evident, and she even almost halted the entire show as a result. However, she quickly managed to turn her mood around and get fans singing along with her once again.

Thanks To Travis Scott’s Rolling Loud Miami Performance, His ‘Utopia’ Album Release Date Might’ve Just Been Revealed

So far, Rolling Loud Miami 2023 has been full of shocking on-stage moments. On Saturday, July 22, headliner Travis Scott did something relatively low-key: He simply revealed his album Utopia‘s forthcoming release date.

Nearing the end of Scott’s set, the date July 28, 2023, flashed on the screen being him. One person on Twitter commented on the revelation, writing, “I need Utopia bad @trvisXX 🥲.” Scott replied, “Meet me here on Monday. We shall eat sooooonnn,” implying that more information would be shared on June 24.

But that wasn’t the only thing revealed during Scott’s set. He also played the trailer for his upcoming A24 film, Circus Maximus, which will also debut on the same day. So far, details about the movie have been largely kept from the public.

Utopia has been years in the making. On Friday, June 21, Scott dropped the first track from the album, “KPop,” which features Bad Bunny and The Weeknd.

Hidden within the official video for the record were hint that when Scott does hit the road to support that album, it will be on a grand scale, which is to say stadiums only. In addition to the tour, Scott’s team is working to host a special concert outside of the Pyramids of Giza in Egypt.

Ice Spice Fan Appears To Faint During Her Rolling Loud Miami Set

Ice Spice recently took on Rolling Loud Miami, performing her hits to a crowd of eager fans. One fan, however, looked to get a little bit too excited. In a gag posted on Rolling Loud’s TikTok, a man frantically shouts in support of the rapper as she performs on stage. When she turns her back to the audience and begins to twerk, the man drops to the ground. The superfan appeared to pass out, and security flocked to him to fan him off. He’s then seen being carried away by personnel.

The 23-year-old performed her brand new track “Deli” for the first time over the weekend, dubbing herself “miss poopie” in some snaps from the fest. The rapper rocked a simple, cropped pink velour jacket and denim shorts, complete with some fishnet tights and a pair of boots.

Ice Spice At Rolling Loud Miami

On Friday (July 21), Ice Spice also dropped the deluxe edition of her Like..? EP. She delivered fans four new tracks. In two of them, she appears to take aim at her fellow female MC, Latto. On “Butterfly Ku,” Ice Spice raps, “Where she at? On the floor / She gettin’ money, but I’m gettin’ more.” Fans quickly noticed that she appears to be referencing Latto’s hit “Put It On Da Floor.” Lyrics to the deluxe EP’s opener “How High?” also seemingly dissed Latto. She raps, “Now she all on the floor when I kick in the door / How you mad I do less ’cause you gotta do more?”

Ice Spice has been rising to the top for months now, recently appearing alongside Nicki Minaj on the Barbie movie soundtrack. The duo previously took over the charts with their “Princess Diana (Remix)” collab earlier this year. During a recent interview with Zane Lowe, Ice Spice detailed how emotional it was for her to meet her collaborator. She revealed that she even started crying when Nicki hugged her, calling the meeting a “full-circle moment.”

Sexyy Red’s ‘Iconic’ 2023 Rolling Loud Miami Entrance Has Users Online Looking To Put The Rapper In The Dog House

Rolling Loud Miami 2023’s lineup reads like a who’s who of rap. But even with acts like Playboi Carti and Travis Scott headlining the festival, Sexxy Red’s performance is what has set the internet ablaze.

To be specific, social media went nuts over the performer’s “iconic” entrance. As Sexyy Red headed to the stage dressed, it wasn’t her jeweled bra that caught people’s eyes. It was her pretending to walk two men on leashes as if they were animals that shocked viewers. While the festival dubbed the entrance “Iconic,” after uploading the clip on Instagram, their followers had something else to say about it.

“J Balvin did this and got in trouble. She does this and nothing,” wrote one.

Another wrote, “Something about Black men and chains.”

Someone else wrote, “So when NLE Choppa walked her and Suki like dogs in his video, the narrative was ‘Black women gotta do better.’ But now, since it’s Black men, it’s just disrespectful, and every Black man in the world isn’t included? Interesting.”

Although people online were overwhelmingly against the act, there were several people that didn’t take issue with it. One such person wrote, “That’s hard. All y’all saying those dudes are lame is just hating because this is a show. It’s called a performance, just like acting. If you don’t do it, someone else will. If I was them, I would be proud of my moment.”

Another wrote, “Not y’all kink shaming. BDSM is a thing, folks.”

Another agreed, writing, “I know we all still traumatized from slavery and antiblackness and all, but y’all never heard of a Dominatrix? 🥴

This isn’t the first time one of Sexyy Red’s performances was declared inappropriate — not that such furor has impacted her live bookings.

Rolling Loud Miami Teams Up With Prime Video

Rolling Loud Miami is going down next weekend, and it promises to be a truly amazing show. Overall, so many big artists are going to be in attendance. For instance, Travis Scott, Playboi Carti., Lil Uzi Vert, and ASAP Rocky are tapped for the event. Moreover, a recent paid promotion on Instagram claims that Utopia will be performed for the very first time on July 22nd. This is a massive proclamation, and fans are not sure what to make of it. Either way, it is another reason to attend the festival.

In recent years, Rolling Loud has received a bit of criticism for how it had handled streaming. Although many of the sets can be viewed online, the stream isn’t always working to its best abilities. Furthermore, there are some instances where the artists refuse to be streamed. This subsequently leads to issues and a whole bunch of complaints from fans. Now, however, Rolling Loud Miami will be much easier to stream and its all thanks to a new deal with Amazon.

Additionally, you will be able to watch the show on Twitch at the Amazon Music and Rolling Loud channels. This is a huge upgrade from previous years, and overall, it is very much in the best interest of fans. This pro-consumer approach is definitely going to be appreciated. For now, however, it is still unknown if every single artist has agreed to a stream.

Hopefully, this ends up being everything fans have hoped for. The festival boasts a truly fantastic lineup, and we’re sure some amazing performances are on the horizon. Let us know if you will be going to Rolling Loud Miami, in the comments section below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for more news from around the music world.
