Quavo Reveals “Rocket Power” Air Jordan 1 Low

Fans are buzzing with excitement this week as Quavo is going to be releasing his new album Rocket Power on Friday. Overall, this is going to be a huge project for the artist. Of course, it is his second solo body of work. Moreover, it is his first project since the passing of Takeoff. It has been an exceptionally emotional time for him, and he is looking to honor his best friend and family member in the best way possible. The album is shaping up to be great, and we cannot wait to hear it in its entirety.

This past week, Quavo had himself a pop-up shot in Atlanta. The pop-up took place at Good Times Atlanta, and it seemed like a fun time. Additionally, there was a new piece of footwear that was shown off at the event. The sneaker in question is an Air Jordan 1 Low simply called “Rocket Man.” You can see a photo of this shoe below. As you will see, this is a sneaker that represents the album and its aesthetics very well.

Firstly, the upper here is mainly comprised of white leather. Furthermore, we get a little rocket sign near the back heel. Additionally, the inclusion of “Rocket Power” written out in stars is actually very cool. This is a detail that went over some heads, but it looks great here. The show also comes with a little pink card that contains a similar star pattern with the rocket in the middle. All of this comes together quite nicely into a shoe that is for the real Quavo stans out there.

Unfortunately, there is no official release date for this shoe. While they were at the pop-up, there is no guarantee these get a full release. That said, let us know what you think about them, in the comments section below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the music world.

Quavo Performs “Who Wit Me” For Atlanta Braves Fans: Watch

Quavo is readying a brand-new album for this Friday, simply titled “Rocket Power.” Overall, this is going to be an emotional release for the artist. It is a tribute album to Takeoff, whom he spent so much of his time with. Although the Migos rapper has suffered immense tragedy, he is now looking to channel that pain into his music. Fans are expecting a truly fantastic album, and there is no doubt that Take will be proud of it. That said, the release date is two days away, and the anticipation continues to mount.

Ahead of this release, Quavo has been spending a lot of time in his hometown of Atlanta. He went to the Beyonce concert the other night, and he has also been hosting pop-ups. Last night, however, the artist spent his time at an Atlanta Braves game. The team is one of the best in Major League Baseball right now, and they were taking on the New York Yankees. In fact, the Braves came through with a solid 5-0 victory. Although, this was not the highlight of the night. Instead, it was Quavo’s performance on top of the dugout.

After deciding to delay his solo sophomore album to “run some more tests,” Quavo’s follow-up, Rocket Power, is nearly here. Sometimes I’m good, sometimes I’m down, sometimes I’m disappointed, sometimes I fall apart, but then I always find my strength again. I know everything might not be alright right now, but the Rocket showed me a way to make it right! Rocket Power keeps me going. Quavo Delayed His Upcoming Solo Album ‘Rocket Power’ To ‘Run Some More Tests’

It looks like we’re going to have to wait a little bit longer for Quavo‘s second solo album, Rocket Power. Yesterday, the Migos rapper took to Instagram to share that Rocket Power has been pushed back.

In a video on Quavo’s account, the Atlanta rapper is seen listening to mixes of the new album. “We gotta run some more tests before the rocket is ready to launch,” the post’s caption reads.

The album was originally set to drop this Friday, but has now been pushed back two weeks. The album is largely inspired by his Migos bandmate Takeoff, who was killed last November following an altercation in Houston.

In a recent interview with Jamie Crawford-Walker, Quavo shared that he has felt Takeoff’s presence everywhere as he’s been working on the project.

“I miss him a lot and I love him,” Quavo said. “He know I love him. That’s what we always know. So when you see me and you see me smiling or something like that, you don’t gotta never think I forgot about him or I’ll forget about him. I think about him all the time. Sometimes I cry myself to sleep. And that’s it. I just know he’s here. If I can’t feel him, I just know he’s around.”

Quavo Addressed Migos’ Split, Offset’s Recent Comments, And His Album Release Date In The ‘Rocket Power’ Trailer

There likely won’t be any new Migos music in the foreseeable future, but that doesn’t mean you won’t hear from the two remaining members, Quavo and Offset. Both rappers have been working on their respective solo albums for a bit, and now, it looks like Quavo’s, Rocket Power is soon to be released.

After releasing the single “Turn Yo Clic Up” with Future last week, today, Quavo shared an album trailer on his Instagram. Fittingly, it features Quavo facing off with a rocket shuttle in the desert, gripping Takeoff’s Migos chain (the album’s title is an homage to Takeoff, whose own solo debut was called The Last Rocket).

In the song playing over the scene, Quavo mentions Offset’s departure from the group (“my cousin jumped out the car, I had to keep goin’”) and recent comments about their familial relationship (“now he tellin’ the whole world that we ain’t blood”), which was foundational to the group’s mythology. However, he measures the lyrics by remembering that “it’s all love.” The trailer ends with the title displayed on screen, along with the imminent release date: August 4, 2023. You can check out the trailer below.

Rocket Power is due on 8/4 via Quality Control Music/Motown/Capitol Records.

Quavo And Future Demand Listeners ‘Turn Yo Clic Up’ On Their Brash New Single

Quavo’s solo album, Rocket Power, is getting closer and closer to release, and today, the Atlanta rapper shared the next single from it, “Turn Yo Clic Up” featuring fellow ATLien Future. The two rappers have collaborated numerous times in the past on tracks like “Picasso” and “Snitching” and maintain that chemistry here. The song consists of a beat by producers Atake, Basobeats, Macshooter49, and Sluzyyy, with rapid-fire verses from Quavo and Future encompassing shopping sprees, splitting up money with their boys, and the various tools they keep around to deal with their enemies.

Rocket Power will be Quavo’s second solo album and will arrive nearly five years from his 2018 debut, Quavo Huncho. Since that album’s release, Quavo dropped two collaborative projects with his bandmates in Migos: Culture III, the fourth Migos studio album, and Only Built For Infinity Links with the Takeoff. The latter came after a falling out with third Migos member Offset; however, Takeoff’s death has seemingly reunited the remaining members of the trio, who came together to perform a tribute to Takeoff at the recent BET Awards. While that doesn’t mean they’re planning on recording and releasing music together again anytime soon, Offset said the performance “cleared my soul.”

Prior to “Turn Yo Clic Up,” Quavo released the singles “Greatness” and “Honey Bun.” Rocket Power does not have a release date yet. Listen to “Turn Yo Clic Up” above.

Quavo & Future Bring Rocket Power On New Single “Turn Yo Clic Up”

Quavo’s back with another one. As the rapper continues to tease his forthcoming solo album, he’s continued to release new singles throughout the year, such as “Greatness” and “Honey Bun,” each with the underlying theme of paying homage to the late Takeoff. Although a release date hasn’t been set, it’s clear that he’s coming for the summer. This morning, he unleashed a brand new single with Future titled, “Turn Yo Clic Up.”

The latest collaboration between Quavo and Future first surfaced in an Instagram snippet on Thursday. The production is handled by Atake, basobeats, Sluzyyy,  and macoshooter49, who bring out a grimey and spacey soundscape for Quavo and Future’s gruff flows. “Turn Yo Clic Up” is a strong reminder of Quavo’s tenure in hip-hop since the early days with the Migos. “We turn the jeweler up, just look at the diamonds we bust/ Look at the people we touch,” he raps. His signature ad-libs slyly sit behind the command as his vocals before Future slide in one the second verse.

Future Namedrops Exes & Disses Russell Wilson On Quavo’s Single

Quavo and Future’s chemistry undoubtedly thrive every time they team up. In the past, they’ve linked up on records such as “Picasso” off of Migos’ Culture III and also on Pop Smoke’s “Snitching.” However, it seems as though “Turn Yo Clic Up” gave the I Never Liked You rapper the platform to air out some grievances. While Future’s verse undoubtedly provides us with plenty of quotables, he fearlessly calls out Russell Wilson and his exes, such as Lori Harvey, who was coincidentally entangled in relationship rumors with Quavo on Thursday. “I got it out the field, f*ck Russell/ Go and ask Lori about the Patek/ Then go and ask Joie and ask Dess,” he raps on the single. Regardless of the clickbait-y bars, his verse continues to get better, finding different pockets across the record.

The release of Quavo’s new single comes on the heels of his recent tribute to Takeoff at the BET Awards. Following what many perceived as a falling out between Offset and Quavo, the two reunited for the first time since Culture III to pay tribute to the late Migos member. We’ll keep you posted on more information surrounding the release of Quavo’s forthcoming album. Check out his new single above.

Quotable Lyrics
Turn up with shooters with switches go bad
Stay with some scammers, my dawg movin’ packs
Trappin’, no rapping, my dawg, he fall off, no cap, I’m buyin’ him a brick
F*ck on your b**ch then I told her to call off, actually, I’m makin’ her quit

Quavo Pays Tribute To Takeoff Amid Album Rollout

Quavo and Takeoff went through a lot together. Alongside Offset, the Migos trio was an unstoppable force in the hip-hop world. Overall, it was extremely disheartening when the group broke up. However, Qua and Take were able to give us a joint album that was filled with great songs. Unfortunately, late last year, Takeoff was tragically shot and killed in what was a truly senseless incident. Since that time, his family members have been looking to pick up the pieces and honor him in the best way possible.

Recently, Offset and Quavo got to mend fences and perform at the BET Awards. Overall, it was a legendary moment that honored Takeoff in the best way possible. Although they may not be making music again anytime soon, it was still nice to see them on good terms. Now, however, Quavo is focusing his sights on a new album called Rocket Power. This album will be a tribute to Takeoff, and fans are very excited to hear it. In fact, a new song with Future could very well be dropping this Friday.

Moving forward, it will be interesting to see if the song with Future does, in fact, drop on Friday. Quavo has been teasing the release of Rocket Power for quite a while at this point. Quavo is branching off from his roots as the leader of the rap group Migos. His former Migos partner, Offset, is also looking to drop his debut solo album later this year. Both musical artists are parting ways after the death of their third member and Quavo’s nephew, Takeoff. In November of last year, Takeoff was allegedly killed by a stray bullet during an altercation near a Houston bowling alley. Since then, Quavo and Offset have been grieving the loss in different ways.

According to Quavo, “I know everything might not be alright right now, but the Rocket showed me a way to make it right! Rocket Power keeps me going… Rocket Power will help us all overcome whatever we’re going through.” This album release is part of his processing. As for what he and Future are up to, they’re having a great time at the club, throwing money around. The party continues. Quavo’s “Rocket Power” Pop-Up Draws Big Crowds In Paris

Quavo drew a caused quite the commotion in Paris. The rapper’s new “Rocket Power” merchandise line received a massive turnout. It made its official debut on the streets of Paris this week. The official unveiling was part of Paris Fashion Week. Quavo did it big, with the TakeOff-inspired collection appearing in its own shop on Rue Notre-Dame de Nazareth. Hundreds of fans showed up to support the line. Of course, they also wanted to catch a glimpse of the former Migos rapper. Quavo shared some of the highlights on his Instagram. In his post, the rapper captioned the photos with “REAL Rocket Power.” Furthermore, he expressed his gratitude for the fans’ support. He also hinted at future pop-ups in different cities, asking his followers, “What city next?”

Just a few days prior, Quavo and Offset reunited at a candlelight vigil. It took place to honor their late group mate, Takeoff. June 18 would have been the rapper’s 29th birthday. Photos emerged showing the pair engaged in conversation at the memorial. This suggests that there may have been a potential reconciliation between them. This public appearance marked their first time together since the Migos’ split in 2022.

Are Quavo And Offset Putting Their Beef Behind Them?

Earlier this year, reports surfaced about a physical altercation between Offset and Quavo backstage at the 2023 Grammy Awards. According to TMZ, tensions rose when Offset was asked by the Recording Academy to join Quavo on stage. The pair were supposed to unite for a tribute to TakeOff. However, Quavo apparently refused to allow Offset to participate. Still, the rapper has denied that any physical altercation took place. There was still some sort of drama, though.

No video evidence of the alleged fight between Quavo and Offset was released. However, Entertainment Tonight obtained a clip showing Cardi B yelling at multiple people backstage. Cardi expressed her disapproval to both Offset and Quavo. “Both of y’all wrong! Both of y’all!” she said, chastising them. “This is not right!” She later dismissed reporters’ questions about the incident. During the Grammy Awards, Quavo paid tribute to his late nephew and groupmate by performing “Without You” alongside the Maverick City Music choir during the In Memoriam segment.
